Lucky Day has posed:
The Limbic Corporation has begun working on the whole concept of climate change from a holistic perspectiv.e If Methane is a major source of carbon, then something needs to be able to sequester a lot of it, and fast. Using a careful study of Einstein's theory, Limbic has finally developed a weapon that is a ray that can capture a lot of Carbon at the same time. Curiously, this also ups the content of oxygen in an area making it highly dangerous for two reasons; first, it creates a lot of potentially combustible carbon fuel as a byproduct but also makes the atmosphere temporarily an explosive. There is a conference to discuss if the widespread adoption of this technology, the Oxygenator, is more dangerous than the problem it might solve for being held in Iceland. While it is guarded, the primary defense has been secrecy. It is a black tie affair in one of the nicer hotels in Rejovik.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    Caim enters the hotel in a black suit and black dress shirt. He had put some research into the oxygenator and was trying to get a better handle on the technology because he is aware of it being used to cause problems with the planet. He carries a cane with him as he leans on it and watches the various other peopl talking.

Lucky Day has posed:
Caim was able to listen in to a group of scientists talking about the thing, definitely the table where the decision makers were gathered.

"It's a weapon that could make three times the destruction; mess with the air of a combat zone, then blow it up with the carbon chains and extra oxygen on top of it."

"I think it works better in a large scale factory. It is simply a matter of energy, not chemistry which makes it perfect for carbon sequestration. Place it on a secure island and you can export the fule and let the oxygen lev-"

"It isn't the civilian applications that I worry about. It's the inevitable theft. Even if everyone in this room agrees not to weaponize it, which, by the way I find ludicruous, it would make any facility that uses it a natural target as much as an atomic facility. Better we don't make it wide spread. Keep it like most energy weaponry now, restrict it to a few trusted agencies like SHIELD."

"That's ludicrous! The planet needs it too much."

A heated argument ensued.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    Caim listens in to the arguement and sighs. He moves to another table and smiles at a few of the women in attendance. The man could pass for an albino though he wasnt as pale as one. He makes his way around to where the refreshments were being served and takes a glass of what they were serving.

Lucky Day has posed:
The women not at the table (since half of the key decision makers were women) are socializing as much as they otherwise might but while it is a black tie affair it is a state department affair and not 'the elite' and even other table include boring but useful bits about other countries. The wine is pitch perfect, and it seems that the general tone of the room is that as valuable as this discovery is, it is going to be locked away.

That is when an explosion takes place at the far side of the room which Caim's experience instantly tells him is a distraction. Someone is here to steal the prototype. The timing strikes him as likely not a coincidence either.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    Caim moves to where the prototype is being displayed. Seeing it safe for the moment he turns to see who else shows up for it. "No one is going to take this after all the work I put into it." Caim growls out to those who show up for it and begins to strike at them with his cane, not seeming to care that they were armed.

Lucky Day has posed:
There are three grey robed individuals. He can tell right away that they are not lightweights, though as he strikes one with his cain they barely dodge out of the way and draw a knife. They are experienced but not on par with himself. They do clearly work well as a unit with two trying to distract him and another circle around to steal the prototype.

Caim Kataras has posed:
    Caim smirks as he draws the sword hidden in the cane. "Mine's bigger." Caim says as he slashes at the knife wielding man. He then hits the one trying to steal the prototype with the cane part of his sword cane and he tries to drive them away from the prototype. "This is mine!" He snarls out at them.

Lucky Day has posed:
The three have obviously trained together exceptionally well and now all three of them move in concern. They all try to steal the thing when he isn't looking but they are not able to grab ahold of something long enough to run off with it (it helps that it is fairly heavy) but it does require a lot of his attention.

For a few momoents it seems that there is detente until they begin to throw throwing stars in an attempt to bypass the situation. They are easily deflected but then the security contingent actually guarding the prototype sounds like it is coming downstairs and they throw down smoke bombs. They have seemingly vanished but Caim can sense them still. This is not likely the last attempt but merely a lull.
