Genesis has posed:
It's in the afternoon, christmas break still in full swing. Thankfully, or perhaps moreso unfortunately, Genesis has no home other than the institute. Besides, the only person Genesis loves is there. So why would he have to leave?

Despite being a very attentive young mutant, Evan seems to be doing the impossible...the UNTHINKABLE.

He's napping on the front grounds, near the gardens. Specifically under the leaves of a rather large tree. He seems to be dreaming about something nice.

X-23 has posed:
Laura has no Happy Holidays to go to. So she's been at the school as well. It's a fairly warm day today, too. A nice change. So the girl is out on the grounds, and on picking up Evan's scent, she changes her path to head over his way. She draws closer, then crouches down. "Evan." she says.

Genesis has posed:
Evan stirs awake, opening his eyes peacefully and turning his head to Laura, giving her a warm smile. "Hello Laura. You look beautiful today. and your scent is lovely. Tell me, how is your day?" he sits up, only to lean over and attempt to greet Laura with a gentle, brief kiss.

X-23 has posed:
Laura's scent is just...Laura. Even her soap is unscented, because with her powers, scented soap would be annoying. Perfume would be one step shy of hell. She smiles, though. "It's going well enough. You're going to get wet lying on the ground, though."

Genesis has posed:
Evan smiles to her. "Oh, I suppose your right." he does seem to enjoy her smile. "Mmm...it does smell like it will rain soon." he sits close to her. "Has anything interesting happened to you today? I was just watching the clouds and I suppose i dozed off."

X-23 has posed:
"Very little. I woke, I ate. I trained some, and now I found you." She gives him a little kiss, and smiles. "So far it has been a good day."

Genesis has posed:
Accepting and returning her sweet kiss, Evan smiles to her beautifully. "I am glad it has been so good to you. Just seeing you today has made my day that much better." he reaches to hold her hand and give it a squeeze. "I wonder how Andrea is doing. I hear she went through a tragedy."

X-23 has posed:
That gets a frown. "I had not heard that." Her attention focuses more; if Evan is her most romantic friend, Andrea is her most platonic. "What has happened?" She squeezes his hand back, but she's clearly moving into focus-mode.

Genesis has posed:
Evan seems to look doubly concerned. But he hums. "I am not certain about details. But I believe she was outed as a mutant to the public, and went on a rampage due to the nature of her powers. I would ask Samuel Guthrie, or Andrea herself for more specific information. I know that it's in critical times like this, that individuals need those close to them." he smiles to her.

X-23 has posed:
"That is concerning. The rampage, at least." Laura couldn't care less if someone knew she was a mutant. But she's also not a celebrity like Andrea. "I will ask as soon as I see either of them."

Genesis has posed:
"Thank you. To know that you are making more friends is a warm though that touches my heart." Evan gives her a gentle, perhaps lingering kiss. "I am certainly honored to have someone like you in my life." he looks up to the clouds, and points. "heh...that looks like a giraffe."

X-23 has posed:
"I had her as a friend before I met you." Laura says, with a faint smile. "I have never seen a giraffe in person. That is something we should rectify soon."

Genesis has posed:
"You have never seen a giraffe?" Evan chuckles. "I never have either...never in person. So I suppose I cannot deny you that." he looks to Laura. "How about we go to the zoo sometime? I hear they have plenty."

X-23 has posed:
"That sounds like a good plan." Laura says. "Next week, we should make a trip. But for now, I should find Andrea, and make certain she is all right." The news about her friend's problems has her somewhat agitated. "I will find you again, after I have spoken with her."

Genesis has posed:
Evan will stand up then, helping Laura to her feet if she accepts, and he seems to nod approvingly. "I do like this plan. And please, tell her that if she needs help, I will gladly attempt to assist." Evan smiles, and before Laura makes her way off, he'll try to Embrace her, and give her a kiss goodbye. "Safe travels, Laura."
