Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Amethyst, Mon-El

Amethyst has posed:
Crime is high, and so is industry. In an area with so many corporate buildings stands a blonde in a leather jacket, purple tee, jeans, and boots. She frowns at a very different sort of building. An abandoned looking house sits in what looks more like a vacant lot than a yard. It's this house that has the tall blonde's focus at present.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar hadn't been back to Earth in a while, so he has decided to take a break from the stars for a little while. Plus, it can never hurt to soak up the plentiful yellow solar radiation that this planet is just brimming with, just to get a recharge so to speak. Certainly, there are plenty of other yellow stars out there, but few have terrestrial balls as nice as this one orbiting them.

As he is soaring and sonic booming through the atmosphere, that abandoned house does seem a bit strange in this mostly nicer part of the city. He approaches it and attempts to peer inside through the walls using his enhanced sensory capabilities.

Amethyst has posed:
Lar would likely only see a house. It is after all, the House of Mystery, a magical anomoly that even well versed users don't quite grasp. Inside, in reality the rooms are constantly moving, the house re-arranging but from the outside to all senses it appears to be a simple house.
Noticing the flying man, Amaya looks up and waves a hand. "Heeeey! I wouldn't get too close to it!" She advises and lifts her other hand so she can shade her eyes and peer at Mon-El.

Mon-El has posed:
Hm. Lar peers inside and as far as he can tell, it's just an abandoned house. He shrugs and was about to fly away when a girl tries to get his attention, warning him not to get too close to the structure. A brow is arched at her, as he turns and floats down toward her.

"Oh? And why's that?" he asks, curious. "Something...interesting in there or what?" he smirks, landing lightly on the ground in front of her.

Amethyst has posed:
"More than you know. It's magically warded. Last I heard that's John Constantine's house." Amaya offers. The purple eyed woman looks up at Lar and studies his outfit. "So, some kind of super hero then?" She asks casually and tucks her hands in her jacket pockets. "Unless you just fly to the office in that?" The joke made more quietly, looking over toward the house.

Mon-El has posed:
"Who's John Constantine?" Lar asks, really not knowing. While he likes to frequent Earth a lot, he doesn't spend all his time here, and did not grow up here like Kal or Kara did.

He shrugs at the question. "Something like that, I guess."

Then he looks back over at the mysterious house. "So, if it's someone else's place, why are you spying on it like a stalker? He your ex or something?"

Amethyst has posed:
"John Constantine is a magician of Earth. He was a team mate-for a time. However, he has my way home somewhere in that house." Amaya nods to it. Looking at Lar she makes a face. "I don't like, date First Worlders-that would just get complicated. But I've been looking for John and that is his house. He's bound to come out some time." She nods back to the building.

Mon-El has posed:
"Oh, and where's home?" Lar asks, again out of curiosity. Then he frowns pensively, listening to her dilemma further. "Uh, can't you just like, call him? Doesn't he have some kind of communication device or...spell or whatever you magic types do? If he was your teammate before, how come you don't know how to contact him?"

Amethyst has posed:
"He summons me. Thanks to that house." Amaya huffs and squints at the building. "Anyone he invites in is bound to him and the house. He can call us back at any time. John is notoriously hard to get in contact with if he doesn't want you to reach him, and he fancies himself the safe keeper of my portal crystal back to umm, well, First Worlders call it Gemworld." She looks up at Lar. "I'm Amaya-by the way. Your heroes here call me Princess Amethyst."

Mon-El has posed:
"Pff, well that's awfully rude and inconsiderate of him don't you think?" Lar scoffs. "People have to be at his disposal whenever he calls but they can't contact him unless he wants them to? Maybe you shouldn't have let such an arrogant person keep your only way back home?" He glances back at the house. "I mean, did you try knocking?"

"Gemworld, huh. Can't say I've heard of it. What cluster is that in?" he asks, offering her a hand to shake. "Lar Gand."

Amethyst has posed:
Taking the offered hand, Amaya's shake is firm and brisk. "Amaya Amethyst. Cluster? It's...well, it's between the Faire Realms and First World, dimensionally speaking." She tilts her head a bit as she thinks. "So...this one? And I haven't tried knocking, it might suck me in and that's no place to explore alone-I lived there briefly. Trust me. The place is a nightmare some days. This time I lucked out, no having to negotiate getting home with John in his own house."

Mon-El has posed:
"Oh, so different dimension. I see." Lar nods, shaking her hand. "Wait, I thought you could only come in if he invites you?" he seems puzzled, tilting his head to the side a little bit. Magic people. So weird.

Amethyst has posed:
"I was chasing agents of Chaos and fell through a portal that looked like it was headed to Faerie, but-chaos. Feel out in New York." Amaya shrugs. "Getting here is often easier than getting home. There's only one way and John in theory protects it. Except when I need it the jerk usually asks a favor." She gives Lar a crooked smile. "If I found the right sort of stone here I might be able to reproduce the portal spell, but it's a big if-they don't make gems like they used to here. Magic's complicated." She notes and looks around. "So are you like, out on patrol or something?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar stares blankly at Amaya as she talks about magic stuff that mostly goes over his head. And he's not even sure how any of that had anything to do with being able to go into the house or not. "Uhhm....okay?" Yeah, he's just confused. "Oh, so you need a rock? What kind of rock? I might be able to find it. Unless it's encased in lead or something."

He shrugs at the question. "Kinda, I guess. Just recharging a bit. Earth's a nice place to uh, 'soak up the sun' so to speak." he grins.

Amethyst has posed:
"Oh. So...it would have to be a really flawless amethyst-ideally a pair of them around..." Amaya spreads her fingers apart to show. "Five inches, four maybe? I've been keeping my feelers open. Thought I had a good set, they shattered. Couldn't take the magic. I suppose worst comes to worst I'll get Wonder Woman to bully him for me. Eventually I have to get back to my responsibilities at home. It's a pity Earth is so nice. Leaving it always sort of sucks." She glances up at the sky. "So you're on a bit of a vacation then? Cool. Don't run across too many flying humans."

Mon-El has posed:
"Oooh, and what does a flawless amethyst look like?" Because as far and as much as Lar can see at once, it doesn't exactly help if he doesn't know what he's looking for.

He nods. "Yeah, Earth is pretty. That's why I like coming here to recharge a lot. I mean, there are plenty of other yellow stars out there in there in the galaxy, but this is one of the few I've come across that has such a nice, lush planet orbiting it."

A chuckle at the mention of 'flying human.' "Oh, I might look the part sometimes, but I'm far from human."

Amethyst has posed:
"Oh? Me either. Well, my people are a variation of magically inclined humans, but I'm a bit more...complicated." Amaya admits and looks a little relieved. "Where are you from then? Another planet? Are there a lot of other habitated planets out there?" She presses looking more excited by that idea. "Oooh, like Martian Manhunter?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar nods. "I'm from Daxam, and yes, there are quite a few other inhabited planets in this galaxy. Or other planets that -used- to be inhabited, but aren't any more or are...uhm, not planets any more." Like Krypton. "But! There's going to be a lot more in the future, too. What, you bored of Earth already?" he smirks a little. "I do have a ship."

Amethyst has posed:
"That's just exciting to know. Maybe the other points in my night sky are like wise peopled. We don't have space ships, but it would be something to ponder some nights." Amaya shakes her head a little. "I'm sure you must have a ship if you're here. There's still a lot of Earth to see, so much. And the technology here! It's really incredible. I suppose it'd have to be with magic so scarce here."

Mon-El has posed:
"Points...in your sky?" Lar repeats, trying to figure out what she's talking about for a second. "Oh, yeah if you have stars in your dimension too, then there are probably other people and things living in at least -some- of those systems." he frowns. "Well...actually I can't really say that. Since I've never been there, I have no idea how big your galaxy is. But if it's like ours, then there probably are other sapient beings out there."

There's a pause and he peers back at that strange house. "Soo...what do you think would happen if I just...smashed through the walls to find your portal thing? This Constantine dude sounds like he deserves to endure some property damage."

Amethyst has posed:
"Well...hard to say. The House could send you somewhere weird-another dimension, for example. You could release all sorts of...other creatures to this plane, it could not let you in at all and vanish to some other location. I'm not really sure. It's....a complicated house." She looks at Lar and lifts her shoulders. "So I'm just waiting...since at least I know it's here."

Mon-El has posed:
"Ehh, I hardly think just sitting out here waiting for him to come out at some point is an efficient way of solving this. You could just tell me what kind of a flawless amethyst you need and I could just find some for you." Lar winks. Yeah he's probably being a little bit overconfident on that. "Besides, if it's that unpredictable, how do you know it won't hide him from you even if he does come out?"

Amethyst has posed:
Amaya stops for a second. That had never occured to her and it shows. She blinks and furrows her brow. "Damn it." The princess huffs and looks at Lar. "It has to be perfectly clear, nothing trapped in the crystal or any cracks. Also it has to be as big as I said, at least four inches, ideally five and totally purple, like the color in my-oh, like my eyes I guess." She ammends realizing she's not in her armor.

Mon-El has posed:
"I take it you hadn't thought of that." Lar says with a chuckle. Then he listens to the description and nods. "Fair enough. I'll see what I can find. You got a communicator or uh, cell phone or anything I can use to contact you once I find what you're looking for?"

Amethyst has posed:
"I didn't!" Amaya admits and thinks for a moment. "A phone? No...I don't even have Earth money. Oh, hold on." She snaps her fingers and focuses. Drawing a small shard of crystal from thin air, and murmurs something in a bizarre sounding language before handing it to Lar. "Communicator. It should work on this plane, as long as it can resonate with my magic. Flick it to activate it and then just talk. Handy, huh?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar takes the odd crystal, turning it over in his hands curiously. He nods. "Right, got it. I'll uh...contact you once I find what you need." he chuckles. "You magic types are so weird." Then he shrugs and pockets it. "Guess I'd better get on it, then."

Amethyst has posed:
"Oh. Yeah. Guess I should wander back, check on my host and all that." Amaya nods with a crooked smile. "You're from another planet and fly. I just do magic."
