Cast of Characters: Sindr, Gigas, Tyran'tar
Tinyplot: Daughters of Daratar

Sindr has posed:
Sindr had gone off on her own to scout the port town where all this adventure is happening on Alpha's Omega, and it isn't terribly long before she comes tracking down Gigas to reveal and discuss some things she's found out.

When she finds him, she isn't wasting time in her approach, but neither does she seem extraordinarily rushed. Assuming he looks her way, she waves for his attention. If not, she'll speak up when she's in conversational distance.

Gigas has posed:
Gigas isn't hard to find. In the aftermath of the meeting with The Alpha and signing up for the battle in the arena, he went straight to one of the more popular dives or casino halls on Omega and proceeded to start getting drunk while also gambling away what little money he had left on him between the port fees and signing up for this mayhem. How does a 11' tall blue titan of, rumored, limitless strength get drunk? Well it's complicated..but he manages it!!

His presence is montrous, to say the least, and most of the denizens grant him a wide berth despite his friendly demeanor. He doesn't see himself as a monster after all but any half effort to look up his reputation provides a laundry list of doings and most of them illegal or so insane sounding as to not be worth testing..and so he's largely left alone to his antics. Thus when Sindr finds him it's at a table strewn with alchoholic beverages, many lacking the ability to be easily pronounced. He does indeed notice her.

"Heeey. My hitchiker!!"

Sindr has posed:
"Ugh." Sindr intones with mild disappointment. "You're not... addled, by all this drink, are you?" she wonders, but doesn't really give him the time to respond before going into what she has to say. "Regardless, I've met some people - a Peter Quill and someone named Brainiac. There's some information regarding the champion we're supposed to fight that is likely to complicate our fight." She sits across from him, waiting for him to focus so they can discuss the matter.

Gigas has posed:
IF the names mean anything to Gigas, he gives no indication to it. He considers Sindr for a few seconds and then:

"Hmm...what of it?" asks Gigas, tone almost dismissive as it is accompanied by the wave of a hand the size of a large platter. It might seem unclear what he refers to - if he's addled or if he's bothered by potentiail complications but..eventually he seems to sober up abit and he straightens his great mass, groaning his physique forward to hover over the table and rest his arms on it like some sort of mountain range on vacation.

"Alright then, let's have it. What is this..concern?"

Tyran'tar has posed:
"A fire giant and an alien walks into a bar. The Giant says, your lucky your short, that hurt like hell." Tyran'tar says as he snickers at his own joke and he looks around at the various beings before turning to the two. "So what brings you here to this den of inequity and villainy?" He asks. He was dressed in a uniform of some sort but the only thing that stood out was the green ring on his finger.

Gigas has posed:
    "Eeeh?"

Gigas leans back, briefly looking away from Sindr to eye the newcomer with a confused expression. It's clear he didn't the joke, even if he maybe wasn't mean tot hear it. What he does get is the intrusion.

"Minding our own business." he retors while waving a massive hand as if trying to shoo Tyran'tar away. He pauses after a few waves, taking note of green ring on his finger and he seems mildly curious at that before taking in a good look at the mans military uniform. This seems to change his demeanor slightly and while waiting on Sindr to speak he asks, "Mmm..This does not seem like the type of place to attract a person of a uniform.. hmm?"

Tyran'tar has posed:
"I have found that most people who frequent these places are more interesting then most places. Plus I am always working for work as a former mercenary." He says as he nods to Gigas. "The name's Tyran'tar. I am with the tamaranean military. Also mercenary in my free time." He says calmly as he watches the two. "Do you both have problems?" He asks curiously.

Gigas has posed:
At the question, Gigas bursts out into a rumbling laugh that vibrates the very walls of the dive like establishment. He grins, teeth full and white against his blue skin and he rubs his hairy jaw lightly and then scratches it, producing a sound like a steel brush scraping across marble.

"Do I look like I can't handle my own problems? Tth. You are..less a problem solver for me and more..how should I sa..potential competition. Strange, though." Gigas leans forward again, eyeing Tyran'tar, "Odd..even. Your military pays you so little you have to seek work as a gun for hire?"

Sindr has posed:
Sindr listens to Taran'tar and Gigas talk for a moment, then opens up about what she was going to say. "Our opponent, the Daxamite, is named Lar, and apparently the alpha has him under some sort of mind control. Possibly magic. I believe they intend to rescue him. This could cause problems for you getting the information you want, unless we find a way to assist them and still get what we want."

She smiles at the newcomer, and says, "I may have some mercenary work for you sometime soon. Whether I need you here depends entirely on what my companion here says."

Gigas has posed:
"..Lar?" The word is said with such familiarity that there's no hiding the fact that this name and person is possibly quite familiar to Gigas. He frowns now, not of concern, but of coofusion as he slowly pieces things together.

"Yes..the Daxamite! They grow as powerful as the near extinct Kryptonians when exposed to Yellow Sunlight. I have fought this Lar before! It was inconclusive. I was hired by a third part to attempt to compel him to provide information for me but I he was able to escape me before I could...!"

Which implies several things, not the least of which that Gigas seems not at all put off by Lar's potential power level and indeed considers Lars to have been the one to have run away.

"Why would these..uh..Alpha's have enslaved him for simple battles in an Arena. Yes..if they rescue him before we are able to defeat him...I will not be able to use that as leverage to find the missing princesses.."

Sindr has posed:
"Then we may wish to discuss with them a plan to achieve our ends as well as theirs. I will speak with our other companion, to see if they're versed in mind control magics. Apparently the means by which they control the Daxamite isn't technological, or if it is it's resistant to disruption devices. If she is not, then I will reach out to some mages on Midgard I'm acquainted with and see if any of them can assist." Sindr explains.

Tyran'tar has posed:
"Technically my people isnt allowed to have a warrior culture. We have a basic military to keep the peace on our planet and to defend against invaders, but other then that, I am allowed to seek combat with other races as a mercenary. I am always seeking to improve my skills." He says as he looks to the two and nods. "So This lar is under some sort of mind control?" He asks curiously.

Sindr has posed:
Sindr nods. "It is believed so." she confirms. "Are you versed in methods of undoing such things, even magic if need be?"

Gigas has posed:
"I suspect it is some form of technology and not sorcery." notes Gigas, "Do you not remember how they foricbly calmed the crowd the other day? After our..uh..'friend'..caused those riots for want of her?" Gigas wiggles his fingers, "Some sort of tractor beam immbolized all of the riotors and afterwards they knew not to anger these..Alpha.. This 'Lars' has a strong will and is quite agressive but even he may lose to strong technology."

Tyran'tar has posed:
"Sounds like these Alpha are pretty tough creatures with their tech. If you need help rescuing this LArs from them, I would be willing to help. If it lets me become stronger then I may even offer to help for free." Tyran'tar says with a smirk.

Sindr has posed:
Sindr splays her hands. "I am versed in neither form of mind control, so I defer to the wisdom of others." she says amicably. "Well, it was not originally our intent to rescue him. However, aiding his rescue provides us the best chance of getting what we want without undue interference. I hope." She looks to Gigas, "Speaking with Brainiac and Peter Quill should help determine the best course of action. If for no other reason than to understand their plans, better to form our own."

Gigas has posed:
"Yes.." agrees Gigas as he hears Sindr, "This Lars was trouble and may have cost me a job. I do not 'help him' because of some heroic impulse but because I am on another job that is tied to his presence here.."

That being said, the goliath rises, pushing up towards his towering full height and grinning at Sindr and Tyran'tar both now, "Yes, I will try and find this Peter Quill and Brainiac and make a determination then, on what I will do. IF they seek to rescue him, so be it...as long as I am able to fulfill my contract and rescue these princesses.."

Tyran'tar has posed:
"What princesses?" Tyran'tar asks as he looks to the two of them. He shrugs and he watches them. "I guess I can come along when you meet this peter quill and brainiac, more people helping the better, yea?" He asks as he looks around and tries to see what everyone else is doing.

Gigas has posed:
"Not necessarily, if it cuts in on my profit margin." responds Gigas to Tyran'tar, "I have not asked for your help but I will not stop you from poking around on your own either. "

Sindr has posed:
Sindr replies, "I believe Peter is attempting to find more information about how Lar is being controlled. I do not know what Brainiac is doing, but I can show you where I told him I would seek him; it is a place Peter Quill lead both Brainiac and I to. Another drinking place, not as... decorative, as this one. She smiles, "I am not here for your bounty, so you needn't worry about me." She also looks at Tyran, "If you prove useful, I can see you compensated; helping Gigas provides me with information, so if you aid me in that..." she trails off. "And I may have more work for you afterward."

Tyran'tar has posed:
"I am friends with the green lantern corps so finding out about things in the galaxy should be relatively easy for me. Helped a lantern out on a blockade on a planet." Tyran'tar says as he nods. "As I said, I will do what I can to help out. If it helps me earn a profit then even better." He says as he nods to Sindr.

Sindr has posed:
"Green lantern corp? I should like to know more about them; I'm rather new to the stars, you see." Sindr advises Tyran, rising from her chair while waiting for Gigas to join her.

Gigas has posed:
"Huh." Gigas grunts at that but he doesn't anything more beyond a slight smirk that creases his features. "Much interesting. That should prove..to change things for some involved in these events.." With that he steps off and begins pounding his way for the exit.

Tyran'tar has posed:
"In a nutshell, the Green lantern corps are space cops. They police the galaxy and makes sure the races get along. Certain empires however dont trust them and thus arent allowed in their space but overall they try to help others." Tyran'tar explains to Sindr and he shrugs. "I am going to get a drink. Here is my contact information." He says as he transfers communication data to any devices Sindr may carry. "Contact me anytime you need help. I may not have super human abilities but I am trained decently."

Sindr has posed:
Sindr happens to have picked a thing up for accepting such information. "Thank you. I will contact you shortly once we've firmed up our plans." With that, she makes her way out with Gigas.
