Rage has posed:
Having needed to get out of the mansion for a bit, Andrea has set up a 'lunch date' with her fellow teammates and friends. Settled at a private table in the back with enough chairs for them, the popstarlet is waiting patiently with a menu in front of her, glancing over the items. She's dressed in a NYU sweater with her jacket settled over the back of her chair, along with relaxed, expensive jeans and new boots. The message she sent out wasn't anything too critical, though it did say at the end: We gotta talk about something important. Dun Dun Dun.

Erika Kristasdottir took public transit. Because she already got slightly grounded for taking a motorcycle, and she literally did it to do paramedic stuff, and this is less justifiable. So she comes bouncing in in tight, slashed black jeggings, a loose brown T-shirt, ("I was depressed before depression was cool"), black and yellow plaid flannel button up worn open, studded belt, black shoulder bag, black leather gloves, hair almost over her eyes, lots of black eyeliner.

She looks under the tables briefly, then plops into the nearest chair. "Hey! What's up?"

Genesis has posed:
Genesis was spending time with Laura when they both got the text message. Curious, Evan suggested to her that they go, and so they do! Evan wears casual clothing for once in his life, one of the Guthries probably helped him pick it out, because it not only makes him look nice, but it's sorta stylish too. He currently wears a blue plad shirt with a white shirt underneath, some blue jeans, and some regular Converse shoes. He walks into the restaurant holding hands with Laura as he leads the way. "H-hello." Evan greets Erika and Andrea somewhat shyly, but with a big smile on his face. Problem? Evan's greyish-blue skin sticks out like a sore thumb, and they might get some odd looks thrown their way.

X-23 has posed:
Laura moves in with Evan, and yes...holding hands. She's in skinny jeans and a black turtleneck, with black ankle boots. She hasn't seen some of her teammates in a while, and she's changed in that time. Physically, it's mostly just her hair growing out to mid-back. But the more "normal" clothes, and the simple way she moves are both different. It's...more like a normal person. Less like she's expecting a fight at any second.

What's more, there's an actual /smile/ as she sees her teammates. "Hello, everyone." she says, with a hint of actual warmth. Her eyes are more on Andrea, though with a bit of concern. "Is everything all right?" she asks as she takes a seat. Dun dun duns are serious business.

Mason Steele has posed:
    Another 'important' meeting from Andrea. Mason figured he should probably go to be supportive. He isn't completely certain what she wants to talk about, but there are a few things that rank among his potentials. He wears a heavy ski jacket as he enters, and pulls the hood off his head, and with his hands still in his pocket, he walks to the booth where the others are sitting. His hair is in slight disarray from the hood. He sees Laura, wait, holding hands? This earns a mock frown and approving nod given to Evan, even if he doesn't know much about him. He pulls a hand free to twist a chair next to Andrea around backward, and then sits in it, resting his arms on the back, facing Andrea. "Hey, end of the world again?" he asks in a cheeky tone.

Rage has posed:
Giving a smile at her friends, Andrea's brows raise upwards at the sight of Evan and Laura holding hands. She glances between them, down to their hands, back to Laura. She opens her mouth, closes it slowly. "Hey Erika, Mason. Guys." She says to the other pair that arrives as well. Giving a jab to Mason in the shoulder, she says, "So, this genetics company got ahold of my DNA and they're making uh.. clones. Sorta. I'm sure you saw the news about the other werewolf out there and the other animal shifters out there. This man who is named Oroku Saki, who is the CEO of a biomed company once tried to blackmail me to get my bood that way. Miss Grey handled it supposedly by going down there and putting the fear of God into him. From there, this guy got involved with Tyler, an older student and I think influenced him... which is how he got my blood."

With a sigh, Andrea rubs a hand over her face. "And after I saw the news, I've been sitting on this for awhile, thinking about how to react to it. I'm like ninety percent certain this guy created those creatures with my DNA. Even the wolf looks like me... like a sibling." She wrinkles her nose a bit. "It's a wolf thing.. just hard to explain. I don't know what to do guys, so I thought I'd talk to you first, get some ideas.."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir glances over at Laura, waves. Smiling Laura? Eyes track down. Laura holding hands with a boy. Ooh. She grins. "World's always ending somewhere, donchaknow. Hmmm. Do we got any clues? Or are we going to have to go chasing werewolves down? 'Cause if we're doing that, I need a resupply of ninja socks."

She hmms. "I didn't really look at it too close, sorry. I was trying to get some cardio in, and it didn't really pop at me. Who else did you try talking to?"

Genesis has posed:
Evan seems to take his seat right next to Laura. Of course he would. Though he seems to tilt his head at why everyone seems to be staring at the two of them. But his features darken when Andrea reveals the clone situation. "...strange. I'm sorry that this appears to have happened. Is there any way we can help?"

Oh! ideas!

"Uhm...I'm not sure. We could go to where this Oroku Saki-fellow is directly and try to find the samples that way?" he looks to Laura. She was the assassin. She likely knows a way. Maybe.

Regardless, Evan suggests a direct approach.

X-23 has posed:
Laura frowns, as Andrea gives her news. "You need to destroy their samples and data." It's stated like a fact. Sun is bright, water is wet, destroy that shit. The name seems vaguely familiar to her, but she can't put facts to it yet. She considers. "If we can get a general idea where their lab is, I can track it down."

This is personal to her in a lot of ways, given both who it is, and what they're doing. She knows all about people weaponizing clones, and is not a fan.

Mason Steele has posed:
    "I dunno," Mason shrugs. "Seems like we should pass this up to the X-men," he suggests. "I mean, we're just students, and you remember what happened the last time you tried to confront that guy. And what good is destroying the samples if he already made the clones?"

Rage has posed:
"I have been in the building before. Tyler told me he snuck in there once and fought the guy and beat him up. An old man. He came back looking like shit so that old man obviously has a mean right hook." Andrea says as she shrugs her shoulders. "I just feel the whole situation was a lie now. With Tyler.. my friend.. a teammate. But that's the past. Moving forward, I don't know what to do. We should tell Miss Grey and Mister Summers. Maybe this is something for the X-Men to handle. I pass the intel on, I let them decide what to do with it.."

When it seems that Mason almost mirrors what she says, she glances at him, then back to the others. "What good is it that you stop him from making any more. At least from /my/ DNA. At least I can feel like my part in it is over with. You know? But you guys are my best friends and I wanted to tell you first. I was pretty sure how Laura would answer." She grins over to her. "But, I also know that you guys aren't built like Laura and I. We're tanky. We're.. we're fighters... so I wouldn't ask anyone else to go in there and fight and get hurt on my behalf. Erika, you're good at research, right? Maybe you can research the news that came out, get some screen shots of the creatures. Then maybe do a deep dive of this guy's business? Dark web will have something I'm sure. Any info we can give to Scott and Jean would be helpful before taking action."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods. Thumbs up. "I think we should pass this on, yeah. I can talk to Sam, maybe he can get some of it bounced back down. I can totally see what I can do. That's my next lessons anyway, I guess. I get to be Batman, or something. But yeah, I know dark web stuff pretty well, and I can totally look over their statements and stuff." She pulls out a notepad and scribbles some notes down about what to do.

Genesis has posed:
"Agreed. It will be helpeful to destroy the clones as well...as hard as it may be. But any sample he has of you must be eliminated." Evan says in agreement, but knows Laura is better suited for tracking things down. Erika seems to be the team researcher. "It might be easier indeed to pass this on to those who watch over us, but as you said, we are your friends. We will help you directly in any way we can. I believe people call groups like this a 'squad'?"

Evan..stop learning things.

"If you like, Erika, I can assist you with research. I do not know if Sam will be particularly helpful in this case. Not to mention, he will likely tell us to let the X-Men handle the situation, and try to stop us."

X-23 has posed:
"The samples and the data have to be destroyed before they get mass-produced." Laura echoes the others. "I would not kill the other clones out of hand. They are not responsible for their origins. But this Oroku Saki must be prevented from creating more." She looks over to Andrea, and while there's a bit of a smile back to Andrea's grin, it's a little forced. This news hits on some big issues for her. "Do we have /any/ idea where this lab might be? Or where the clones have been seen? I can start an investigation there."

She looks to Erika and Evan. "Research is not my strength. But someone will have to find and delete the data. That sounds best in your elements."

Mason Steele has posed:
    "Whoa whoa, destroy?" Mason echoes Evan's use of the word. "Like, murder? What's wrong with you? They are people, right? I mean, maybe some weird screwed up experiment, but you can't just go kill people." He raises his hands in a backing motion. "I think we gotta be careful, I mean, if this guy is as scary as Andrea thinks, Erika, it could be a bad idea for you to go snooping around, I mean, what if you get caught? That'd be some crazy shit that'd be hitting the fan, right?"

Erika Kristasdottir hmmms, clicking the pen repeatedly in thought.

"I think she means petri dishes and hard drives, not people. But yeah, it might get tricky if I sneak around, but I wasn't talking about sneaking around - just, you know, looking at their financials and stuff. It might be cool to sneak around, I guess. With the right souvenirs, I could probably take them, but like, yeah. And I don't know if we want werewolves that can jack in ninja skills."

Genesis has posed:
Evan tilts his head curiously at Mason's retort to him. "Not as a direct response. But if they are there, and they attack us with lethal intent, we might not be able to have the luxury of the choice." He looks to Laura, nodding very softly to her as if in agreement. He looks back to Erika....given, he has no idea what she can do.

X-23 has posed:
"If they are people, we will do everything to save them. If they are weapons..." One can almost hear the capital W on weapons. "Then we will deal with them accordingly. But this is a...Pandora's box?...that we cannot allow to stay open. Nor do I trust just handing it over to others. Our teachers have had problems of their own." Laura nods, simply. "Once we know, we can act. Whatever we can find out about this man, these clones, or his company, all give us useful beginnings."

Rage has posed:
Texting for a moment on her phone, Andrea gives a furrow of her brow. "I don't want to kill anyone either. I don't know if these clones are /clones/ or if they're people experimented on. You know what I mean? If they're experiments, they may be brainwashed, or maybe just corporate stooges that signed up for it to do bad things. Either way, I'm not killing someone unless it's me or them and it's a situation I can't get out of, and I don't plan on putting myself in that type of situation. I trust Miss Grey and Mister Summers." She says as he looks between them all. "And we have a mansion full of resources to draw from. We're a team, right? New Mutants. We aren't like the other students, so we have priviledges we can take advantage of. Their experience, their computers, their ability to gather data. I say we be upfront with them. That way we don't do something stupid and be put in a situation like Tyler did."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods, "Right. Anyways, I can use it as homework. Sam has been pushing me to get more training. He was saying detective stuff and whatnot is next, he needed to go talk to somebody first. Hmmmm.."

She scribbles 'Investigation: Journalist? Police?' and click click click. 'Statements newspapers. Supplies? Mats=?'

"I got in so much trouble for ashing a vampire, I don't want to try THAT again. Does anybody know if they need anything weird to make werewolves?"

Genesis has posed:
Evan seems to distrust giving something this big to the X-Men, who already have so much on their plate, but he nods either way. "Very well. It is your request. We will follow your lead." he does smile at using all the resources available to them. "A team. It feels nice to be part of something. I agree, let us use what is available to us, and upon whatever discoveries we make, we can plan our next move then." he looks around then.

he looks to Erika. "The primary way to make a werewolf is either being born to werewolves, or suffering the bite of a werewolf, according to most folklore. But, considering the mutant X-gene, a werewolf can be made that way as well."

X-23 has posed:
"I do not think Andrea counts as a regular werewolf." Laura says. "But I would imagine silver is right out." Was that a joke? From Laura? The times, they are a-changin'. "I think we will need research to be able to proceed. I will see if I can locate this man. He is likely the easiest lead."

With that, she looks to Andrea. "We will solve this. We are here for you." she says, simply.

Mason Steele has posed:
    "Yeah," Mason says, "Totally got your back, but if things get ugly," Mason says, pointing a finger at Andrea, "I'm totally going to say we better back out. Better there be clones and weird stuff than for us to end up dead by going against something we can't handle."

Rage has posed:
"Silver definitely hurts me." Andrea assures. "But I don't go crazy during the full moon." She glances down at her phone and tucks it into her pocket. She leans over and brushes her lips against Mason's for a brief kiss, then pushes herself upwards. "I gotta head off for a bit. Got a meeting, but I will text you guys soon and meet up with you again, maybe even tonight? Let's do something. Movie. Dinner." She looks to Laura and Evan again, brows lifting. "You and I need to girl talk." She says to 'claws' before heading to the door. "Love you guys. See you later. Thanks for listening and having my back."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods to Evan. "Sure, but their whole thing is cloning, and these are apparently, like, copy-paste Andreas. Maybe Doc. And like, maybe we should be being a little more cryptic with the names in a restaurant? Just in case. Later, 'Dre. I'll get right on this." She looks around the room a bit, out of reasonable caution, and writes 'Silver' on the notepad.

Genesis has posed:
Evan seems to nod very softly in agreement at Mason, chuckling lightly at his final statement. He looks to Andrea as she glances towards him and Laura, before he looks to Laura. "...should i be concerned?" his eyes then drift to Erika. "True. Silver would be painful to normal werewolves, it's good to know that it's still quite effective against unordinary wolf shifters." since Werewolf doesn't really qualify.

"Farewell Andrea, safe travels to you."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie comes walking into the place looking about. The gentleman has a pastry box in hand as he looks around and seing the others. He will start to head that way. He nod in greeting towards Andrea as they seem to be passing one another.

X-23 has posed:
Laura stands, smiling faintly to Evan. "I doubt so. But I will go to start my own search. And perhaps to speak with Andrea." And with that, the girl makes her stand, and her departure, heading out of the restaurant after Andrea.

Mason Steele has posed:
    Mason returns the kiss casually, and glances between Evan and Laura. He waits until Andrea leaves before responding. "That's code that they are gonna talk behind your back," he says to Evan as Laura departs. "I'd be concerned." He doesn't spot Sam over his shoulder, but comments to Erika, "Isn't that right, girls talking about guys never ends well for the guys."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir shrugs at Mason. "It depends on the guy, totally. Sometimes it works out great. You just kinda have to earn the five star review first." She waves at Sam and gestures to a chair. "Heya. So."

She waits for him to be settled a moment, glancing over her notepad.

"Business first: 'Dre says the werewolves on the news the other day look like copy-pastes of her; she had some trouble with Oroku Saki and Stockgen, and they do biomed. Cloning, probably. We're pretty sure we know how they got the sample, but it doesn't matter now. I was going to research the company, but I don't know what I'm looking for yet. L wants to stab stuff, obvs, she seemed pretty pissed. Consensus was 'Ask for help'. Aaand.. I didn't order anything yet, so."

Genesis has posed:
Evan watches Laura stand up and leave!...then looks kinda sad that she didn't give him affection or even a goodbye. She just kinda left. But he watches Laura leave, before he looks to Mason. "Oh...really? Oh..." he looks severely disheartened. "Well..I hope they talk about good things instead!" he smiles wide. though he turns his head to Erika, nodding brightly at her.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles and will have a seat and pat Evan on the shoulder, and says "Hey only really need to worry if you have dated both ladies, and done something you don't want one of them to know about." He hmms listening to Erika, and says "Clones, interesting given some recent happenings around a few others."

Mason Steele has posed:
    "Huh," Mason contemplates, "That explains a lot." Maybe of his own perspective. "I mean, most girls probably comment on my-" he stops as Sam sits down. Maybe not good to continue his line of thought in front of an adult. "Hey," he says, looking as if he thinks he should remember Sam's name, he's seen him at the school. He doesn't. He glances back at Evan with a finger gun point and a cluck of his tongue, as if to say. 'yeah, you know what I was gonna say'.

Erika Kristasdottir click-clicks the pen. "Others? Is somebody already working on this?" She tilts her head a bit. "And like, I'm going to get myself a basic number one."

She rises and moves to go order something. "And you get the five stars for product safety, not packaging." She steps away to put in her order.

Genesis has posed:
"On your what?" Evan looks legitimately confused, before he looks to Erika and smiles wide. "I do!?" he smiles beautifully. He probably completely misunderstood her meaning, but let the guy have his hipe. He does look to Sam though as he arrives. "Hello Sam. You look well today, despite the news."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie s brow raises and says "Despite the news?" He will ask, and says "Not sure if it is the same thing but you saw the news about the two Rogues?" He will tell Erika before she gets away, and looking over to Mason and says "About his friends, I beleive even I have met one of his friends. Fellow names Jua."

Mason Steele has posed:
    "Wait, you know friends of this Saki guy?" Mason asks Sam, gripping the back of the chair he sits straddling. "So, can this guy tell us what's goin' on in there? Maybe he can help us get Andrea's blood samples and stuff."

Erika Kristasdottir wanders back, waiting on food, and stands. "Dude, you know I'm not usually in the loop. That's what had Pix up with ASD, I take it? Not sure. I try not to nose around and learn all the secrets, because I am so totally the one people are going to think of if some secrets do get out. And.. now I am totally paying for it. Huh?"

Genesis has posed:
Evan looks at Sam. The question Mason just said the exact same that Evan would like to have answered. Though his eyes do drift over to Erika, he smiles softly. "Well...that is fair. and yes, you probably are." he notices that she still stands. "Why are you standing? Come, and sit down?" he smiles, not that she needed an invitation, but he looks back to Sam, wanting to know the answer.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes his head looking to Mason "Na ment one of your friend, maybe know him better by Kid?" He tells to Mason. "Ah don't even know who the Sakai is, but yea, Ah believe Pixie's thing may have sometihng to do with that, or might just be her still tring to find her place back. It can be a bit shocking how much things can change while your awa.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Kaydin enters the building and makes his way over to Sam and company. "Yo." He says as he has a can of mountain dew which he is drinking from. "You know, Caffeine cant effect me, but I still cant wake up without some sort of soda to drink." He says to them.

Mason Steele has posed:
    "Oh yeah," Mason says, "You think he'll know something about it?" he asks." He glances over at Kaydin's approach, unfamiliar with him. He doesn't greet necessarily, but the pop star gives an acknowledging nod.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir points back at the food counter as a number is called. "Because that." She steps over to the counter for a moment, grabbing for food, then returns to sit in her seat again.

"I don't know about that. I don't see that sort of look in people's eyes from seeing someone carrying a kitchen knife because they're homesick. Hey Kaydin, what's up?"

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "Hey Erika." Kaydin says. He places an order at the counter for two large sandwiches and makes his way back to the group. "So you know the avengers came here after saving new york city?" He says calmly.

Genesis has posed:
Evan ends up looking at his watch, before he rises to his feet. "It was wonderful to see you all. But seeing as we are long adjourned, I'm afraid I have something to attend to. I'll see you all very soon." meantime, Evan will look into this 'Kid' fellow. he gives everyone a gentle wave of his hand, before he heads out.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will head over to make an order right quick, before walking back over and says "Don't think so, I was just brining him up as was first time Ah heard you mentioned at the school, and to try to let Evan think you were saying talking about your friends, not body parts." He says a bit bluntly. "Kids a nice, but he stll at the stage of taking things literly and a little to trusting when folks are just joking or teasing.

Mason Steele has posed:
    Mason blankly looks at Sam for a few seconds. "Um, okay," he says, as if uncertain how to respond to the man. "Well, yeah, Kid's okay, haven't seen him in a while." He stands from his position, still over the chair. "Anyway, I gotta go work on some algebra, Jubilee threatened to make trouble at Julliard if I didn't cross my T's and all that." He grips the chair back and flips it around to face properly into the table again. "So, you guys chill, I'll see ya later."

Erika Kristasdottir ohs, "is that what happened? And.. Sure. Literal. Got it." She munches a bit, considering. "I know it's a bit early, but have you heard any other news? Oh, and I seriously need working clothes. No idea what would work best."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and nods over to Kaydin, and looks to Mason "Need to talk t you sometime at the school as well, sometime to see what and where your hoping to end up." He tells Mason. To Erika, and says "Nothing heard official, still just hearing bits and pieces and trying to put the piees together.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Kaydin gets his sandwiches and begins to go to work eating them. He moves fast, more a blur of motion as he eats. "This is good." Kaydin says as he looks to Sam. "Do you need my help for anything?" He says with a full mouth.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie loks over and says "Actually, I want to sit down and find out what the younger students at the mansion are wanting out of there time there.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "I want some stimpacks, a case of nuka cola, a suit of power armor and a pony." KAydin says sarcastically to Sam before finishing one sandwich and begins on the second one. "In all I want to be the best hero of all time. Maybe even get a super suit."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir munches slower. "Don't know yet. There's issues, like always. I could use some help with clothing design ideas. Any other weirdness? ideas? Questions? Anything? I feel like I barely know people sometimes."

Samuel Guthrie hmmms and nods his head in thought and scratches his chin before going getting hsi food and coming back seeming thoughtfull.

Samuel Guthrie looks down and says "Sorry, I need to go check on some things." He will open the pastry box he brought in offering each a cupcake before he heads out.
