Samuel Guthrie 's ankle does get hit but he was expecting a kick, so he rolls with it, and gets his arm up in time to block the elbow, and as his style is alot less leathel, and expects she might not be used to it, an open hand thrust towards her solarplexes is sent her way.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Grunts as it starts to hit but she Twists the other way snapping another light Kick to his back calf muscle.. She launches a few Attacks at his face knowing full well he'll most likely block them but they are all so she can Drop her knee right on his leg. It won't drop him but it will slow him down least that's her hope.

Samuel Guthrie takes a slight his from the hands towards the face, but he does see where she has him best, and when she goes for the leg, he does go down with it, but instead of trying to roll away, he grabs at her. He will, try to get ahold of her to try to use his size and strength to get past her speed.

Marvel Girl has posed:
It works She wasn't expecting it she almost squeaks except the moments after he grabs her, hands slap both sides of his ears following by several very sharp finger stab trusts to pressure points on his neck and collar bone! He surprised her so she got a little more savage if she lands the hits her eye's go wide " oh crap " knowing she just kinda paralyzed him if only for a moment.

Samuel Guthrie winces and while it does lessen his hold for a moment, as he is coming around he is ,moving to try to get behind her, and get her into a full nelson, something that will restain her hands more, expecting she is more used to using her powers while fighting than just hand to hand. It may surprise her he does recover quickly, and does not submit yet

the issue for poor Sam is rachel spent most of her life with a power dampening collar on she's more used to fighting without her powers than with.. she's actually really terrible with her powers.. So the moment he lets go of those long legs she uses them.. Suddenly snapping them up and trying to wrap them around his chest and neck, using the fact that a girl's legs tend to be stronger than a mans to squeeze the air clean outa him!

Samuel Guthrie will start to try to move but beween the way ahs has him, and the view he gets from the oh so short skirt, she has on, he will get the breath knocked from him, and start blushing and he will tap the ground to submit to her.
