Cast of Characters: Pixie, Iceman

Pixie has posed:
It's saturday. Students are taking trips to the mall, or doing their own thing. Taking advantage of the elsewhereness of the student population Megan is in the kitchen. Several jams are out, marshmallow fluff, peanut butter. It's time. Time to make the ultimate pb and j.

Iceman has posed:
Arriving in the kitchen, Bobby has kinda not gone out and done much in the last couple of weeks. Dressed down to a tshirt, sweatpants and a pair of slippers, he pauses at the edge of the kitchen and grins slightly at Pixie as she works.

"I always wondered what the secret of your powers was, Megan." he offers with a smile that warms to her when she glances over. "A couple of those and I may be able to reverse global warming." There's a wink at her with that as he comes in to head to the fridge. "We still have some milk?"

Pixie has posed:
"Maaaaybe?" Megan says in a tone that makes it more than likely not. "Sugar? Och. Well, it might be, but really it's just I've been flying and flying in the cold really takes it our." She says in a chipper tone. "So it's my triple decker peanut butter fluffer-butter jam-o-palooza!" Her dark eyes crinkle as she grins. "Complete with strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry jam. Want to split one?" She offers and pauses to watch him walk by.

Iceman has posed:
"Sure. I'll get two glasses. I feel like seeing if I can give myself type 2 diabetes in one sandwich." Bobby says with a small chuckle as he passes by her on the way to the refrigerator. "So. Interesting night the other night. She really Jean and Scott's kid? I mean, they confirm it with the whole.." He reaches up and taps the side of his head.

"I don't even see how that's possible. I don't even think they've ever really.. I mean I've known them for /years/. Surely, I'd know if they were like.." he can't find the right words to put in there as he fishes out the jug of milk and then roots around. "Plain, strawberry, or chocolate?"

Pixie has posed:
"Plain for me." Megan says and starts on the delicate assembly of sandwich. "I don't think they have like...up to now from the way Scott fainted. Poor lad. But she is from some future. Maybe not ours exactly. Jean believes her." she shrugs and wipes the knife clean carefully between jams. "Bit of a shocker for everyone I think. Makes you wonder what you're not seeing in folks." the welsh woman chit chats and lines up a piece of bread before moving on to the next layer.

Iceman has posed:
Deciding to go plain himself, Bobby takes out the two glasses to fill up. Once that's done, the jug goes back into the fridge. His hands close over the two glasses, and he cools the mugs down further - not enough to freeze the milk - just to make it very cold. He brings the glasses over and sets them down before he moves to take a seat to watch her at work.

"Did you go home for the holidays?" he asks her curiously. "How was your year off? Anything exciting happen. I totally live vicariously through those students that do head out into the world." So says a mutant who could totally pass as human - he just doesn't leave the house much.

Pixie has posed:
"No. This is home." Megan says quietly. "My family's very...bible thumpy. I traveled about to try and learn more about my faerie side. Wasn't too fruitful but it was nice to see more of the world beside the house I grew up in and the mansion." she crinkles her eyes briefly. "But, I'll never blend in so-the trip had it's moments." She shrugs and finishes the top layer before setting the four piece of bread monstrosity on a plate to cut. "I did learn my wings heal pretty well." She says in a bright voice and looks to Bobby. "Diagonal or straight in half?"

Iceman has posed:
"I can totally get the bible thumping bit. I haven't seen my family in years." Bobby says as he watches the final parts be constructed and grins. "Hey, we didn't have to call in a crane to lift it into place." he says with a hint of a tease in his voice before he gives a rolling shrug of his shoulders at the question. "You decide, I'm pretty easy."

Pixie has posed:
"Phrasing." Megan murmurs but cuts the sandwich corner to corner. "I mean, it's the sugar that gets you. Don't let it lure you into a false sense of sandwich security. It's as much a monster as I am. But food based." Picking up the milk to sip, she grins. "Useful. Thanks for the cool down Bobby."

Iceman has posed:
"Phrasing?" Bobby asks, and then smirks. "Well, only if you had asked me out, Megan." he comments with a teasing smirk as he pulls the plate over to claim his half of the sandwich after Pixie decides on which one she wants. So much for the cool down. There's a glance at his milk in thought. "And this sounds like a lot of I should be taking notes or preparing for a pop quiz at the end of this sandwich." With that, he lifts his glass to her. "To homecomings and sugar rushes."

Pixie has posed:
"Well, if you weren't drooling over the miss with the nice car." Megan retorts with a shrug and takes a bite of the triple decker peanut butter fluffer-butter jam-o-palooza. It's a mess there's no mistaking it but at least she's cut the beast of a sandwich in two with half to share with Bobby who is lounging about in his sweats apparently anti-leaving the house.

Iceman has posed:
There's a roll of his eyes from the ice based mutant as Bobby takes a sip from his milk before he finally digs into his half of the sandwich. "Yes, and you see how perfectly well that's going." There's a grin offered to Pixie at that as he waves the sandwich at her slightly. Taking another bite from it, he chews thoughtfully. "The fluff adds something to it, huh." he offers, then he seems to pause for a moment.

Then he glances to the pink-haired woman. "And now I know you're pulling my leg. I'm sure you had.." he shakes his head and drinks from his milk. "..it's nothing."

Pixie has posed:
"What?" Pixie asks, brows raising curiously as she manages another bite that quickly needs to be followed by milk at risk of having trouble talking. "The posh girl mentioned being related to the Black Queen. That's pretty old anyway. Like...creepy old." She takes another sip of milk and makes a satisfied lip smack sound. "Breakfast of champions this is."

Iceman has posed:
"Oh! Her!" Bobby blinks and then shakes his head. "I was just being polite, which was hard to do when unexpected guests decide to be all flamey and stuff." he sighs and reaches up and rubs his face with a thought. "I'm gonna have to get Jean to talk to her about the whole.. flaunting of powers around here." he admits, before he lifts his brow. And then he looks towards Pixie thoughtfully.

"Alright. So everything here says that if I ask you now, it's totally going to be the wrong thing to ask, but would you like to hang out sometime? I mean, if you want."

Pixie has posed:
"We're hanging out now aren't we?" Megan notes and her wings flex and resettle a little as they thaw out more. Wiggling her shoulders she looks to Bobby's sweats. "Do you mean like, outside the House? If you don't mind people looking at you like you've lost a bet-might be nice to get out for a change." she nods and smiles a little crookedly. "You know-if that sandwich doesn't kill you." She adds belatedly and looks very interested in drinking her milk. "But Rachel is a little quick to flash powers isn't she? Granted-I'm one to talk."

Iceman has posed:
"You don't really have a choice in the matter. I mean, not that it's a complaint. I think you're pretty." Bobby shrugs his shoulders, and laughs. "Yeah. Like go into town and catch a movie or go to dinner or something like that." he suggests as he takes another bite from the sandwich - he seems to be making pretty quick work of it. "She can clearly you know - put it under wraps, but chose not to." And there's a small shiver that comes over him, but he doesn't address it immediately. "Then there was that whole.. poking into people's heads thing. Not cool."

Pixie has posed:
"She's stayed out of mine thus far. I think she feels bad for killing future me." Megan comments and turns to sit on the counter near the plate. Smiling down at Bobby she tilts her head a little. "Dinner sounds grand. Don't you get tired of eating the same old things here? Besides, looks like you could use an outing. You've hardly teased me since you walked in. It's just not like you. Unless you're taking a shot at my looks." She adds lightly.

Iceman has posed:
"Yeah, that whole.. this is how you die thing." Bobby makes a face at that. "I've seen enough Terminator movies to know that's already out of the realm of possibility. Though I suppose we should go ahead and start on the bomb shelter now." There's a smirk at that as he finishes off his half of the sandwich and takes a long draw from his milk.

"Dinner it is then. I'll even let you pick the place so we can get to catching up again." he promises with a smirk and then he laughs a little more. "Yeah, I know, I'm probably losing my touch. Though it recently came tyo my attention that as much as I get to teasing, it could be taken the wrong way.. and the next thing you know.." You're kissing someone in the Danger Room and then realizing that it was the wrong thing to do.

Pixie has posed:
"I wouldn't know. I made enough dumb choices I try not get too invested. Someone actually asked me what parts were insect beside the wings once. So rude." Megan shakes her head and smiles a little crookedly. "Dinner. Harry's? They do a good milkshake." She suggests thinking first of sweets. "I mean, I'd love to hear what I missed at the school the last year or so. Things sure feel different. Kind of weird really."

Iceman has posed:
"Yeah, no, not the question to ask. So.. you can grow them back?" Bobby asks curiously. He picked up on that earlier in their conversation, before he sets his glass aside and folds his hands in front of him to provide Megan with more attention. "Harry's? I suppose that will work." he offers with a small chuckle.

"There's this place on the Canadian side of the border called Pop's Chocolit Shop. Heard it has the best shakes in the area." comes Bobby's response, before his attention returns to the earlier part. See, sugar is already in effect. "Found out a couple of weeks ago, when I'm in ice form, I can regrow a limb."

Pixie has posed:
"Yeah-ah I got to learn that on the fly, as they say." Megan nods and sits forward a little to stretch out her wings. "Can't hardly tell unless you know the pattern before." She notes with a lean to look at one. "Terrifying isn't it? That feeling, the panic. Took ages it felt like to grow back." She considers his other point. "Could go up to that Pop's place then if you like."

Iceman has posed:
Reaching up for a moment, Bobby touches one of the wings, studying it. "I'll have to pay attention to it in the future." he says with a smirk, before he pulls his hand back, reaching to pull his shirt off of his shoulder. It's nearly healed, but there's still some 'scars' of ice on his skin. "I totally panicked. If it hadn't been for Scott thinking of it - I'd probably lost it for good." he admits with a shrug. "Sure, Pop's it is."

Pixie has posed:
Fascinated, Megan leans over to peer at his shoulder. "That's way more intense than a wing." She notes and gingerly pokes at the skin after the ice. "And it all works normally. Like-totally ok?" She asks looking at Bobby with surprise. "I mean, I think it's a magic thing that mine grew-but that-that's really intense Bobby!" She whistles softly, impressed with the regen.

Iceman has posed:
"Yeah, it-" Her touch gives Bobby pause, and his cheeks turn pink, before he pulls the shirt back into place. "..it works like it should. Hank says it's because that when I become ice, all of me becomes ice. Like - on a molecular level. So as long as I'm able to make ice from the water vapor around me, I can actually heal myself. So not really magic?" he asks with a small chuckle, grinning when his eyes meet hers. "I'll save the magic stuff to you."

Pixie has posed:
"Best do." Megan agrees and laces her fingers in her lap. Best behavior. "Still, that's lucky. On both our counts." She notes lightly and squints her dark eyes at the remainder of her half. "I think this is more a summer food. I'll be bouncing off the walls by the time I finish that and then it's pixie dust everywhere and a lecture about glitter in the carpets." She sighs and pushes the plate toward him. "As thanks."

Iceman has posed:
"Thanks? Whatever for, Megan?" Bobby asks, and then laughs. "I already think I'm starting to buzz, to be honest. I may have to go find a way to work off all this extra energy." There's a laugh at that, as the young man rolls his shoulders in a shrug, noticing perhaps that she's behaving - and then he smiles ruefully. "You know, the teasing is usually a two way street." he points out to her.

Pixie has posed:
"Thanks for cheering me up. I've been kind of twisted about the umm, killing." Megan swings off the counter. "It's sort of-anyway. I really needed a dose of happy and here you are." She tells Bobby lightly before tucking her hands in her pockets with a shrug. "To cold to fly, might hit the gym, hand to hand scores will be pretty low by now I've been out of training so long. Probably how I got the snot kicked out of me in London."

Iceman has posed:
There's a snort from Bobby as he gives Pixie. "Trust Professor Snocone, Megan. I'm an expert on time travel, having watched all the Terminator series, Back to the Future the trilogy at least three times, and even the /original/ Planet of the Apes." he sits up all properly and mimes adjusting a pair of glasses on his nose.

"Once someone has travelled from the past, events are set in motion that will forever alter and delete the timeline that the original visitor came from. This means that you're not killed, I don't die, and who knows, maybe Scott and Jean actually finally realize they really do want to act like rabbits and be all twitterpated." he points out.

Megan and Bobby are hanging out at the kitchen table with the remains of a peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, and jelly and jam sandwich and two glasses of milk. "Yeah, when I'm complaining about the New York summer, remind me that I actually think it's too cold outside too." he says with a small laugh. Then there's a pause.

"Wait. What? What happened in London?" comes the question, just now catching onto that part.

Pixie has posed:
"Gross." Megan laughs of the idea of Scott and Jean. "I mean, Scott would faint if she so much as made come hither eyes." She illustrates with a batting of her lashes. Though she tries to brush off London. "It was a bad time is all. I don't pass for human-at all. I don't notice it here. But there?" She sucks in a breath and shrugs.

Iceman has posed:
"You need to work on the sultry of that." Bobby responds with a smirk. Though he's sobering at her comment about London. He blows out a breath in a sigh - and it shows as a small cloud of white that he's chilling and getting cold to the idea of someone being attacked. "If you want to talk about it..." he frowns. "I remember the first time my powers flared. It.. didn't go so well, either."

Pixie has posed:
"I don't. I don't want to talk about the killing either." Megan shakes her head. "It invites too much darkness in." She runs her fingers along the edge of her wing. "Alls well that ends well. I'm ok and it's in the past." She straightens. "I'm going to go burn off the snack and clearly work on my sultry face since it's lacking." She rolls her eyes before taking a few steps back towards the door.

Iceman has posed:
Bobby looks like he wants to say something, but he doesn't. Because, well, he's a terrible counselor. But. He makes a decent friend. "Let me know when you want to make that milkshake road trip, Megan. Talk to you later." he offers, before he moves to start to gather the dishes to get rid of the rest of the sandwich and clean up after their mess.
