Firebird from the Future

Synopsis:	What begins as Rahne meeting Rachel turns into a small gathering of a few more mutants.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Is from the future so they have super advanced tech, yes, but most of the world is basically a total mess and a war zone or waste zone, so most of the world is more mad max than flying cars. Rachel right now is in the garage cobbling together some items and making what looks like her own version of a motorcycle from leftover parts. Most of the parts are of course logans and he'll get mad later about that.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Lacking a vehicle of her own, Wolfsbane has little reason to visit the garage under normal circumstances. However, having been out in the stables feeding a few of the horses, the garage is a decent shortcut back to the main building. She enters through one of those doors, the distinct scent of vehicles, grease, oil, metal, and other things present, which the wolfgirl takes a sniff of. Then she picks Rachel out. She seems recognizable, yet unfamiliar at the same time. "Is tha' ye, Jean? Nae, I'm sorry. Ye must be.." What was the name, again?

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blinks when she looks up at the girl " Rahne " She says surprised and a bit shocked looking her up and down like she grew a second head for a moment , she almost sighs and shakes her head " I'm not jean , she's my mum " she gives a tight smile " Long story I'm Rachel that crazy girl from the future that keeps messing up " .

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane's head tilts toward one side at the reaction to her. "Ye know who I am? I heard..aye, I heard ye were from th' future somehow, a verra bad one. I'm no' sure how ye ended up getting here from there, but I'm glad ye did." Her hands clasp gently in front of her, about at the point her top ends and her leggings begin. "Whit are ye working on?"

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blinks as she beams a smile " Yeh " she says softly " Bad is one way to put it ". She sighs and shakes her head " I do know you .. you were one of the most important people in my life after my parents died.. If it wasn't for you I'd have never made it". but she looks over " Making a Bike Somebody left a tone of perfectly good parts collecting dust so I'm making a bike.. Logan would make me build things whenever I was losing my temper. Kinda habit now when I feel stressed or angry, that or going out to find somebody to shag " .

Wolfsbane has posed:
A show of curiosity rises in Wolfsbane's expression and thoughts with what Rachel tells her so far. "I was? I never even really thought tha' much about different versions o' me, or us. Whit was I like there? I'm glad she..I guess, I was able tae help ye." She wanders closer for a better look at the motorcycle in progress, nodding slowly. "Th' Logan ye knew, aye?" she seeks to confirm, though after the last bit of what she hears, she blushes somewhat beneath the layer of fur, a flash of an embarrassed thought popping up.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey She has a studded spiked collar on right now as she looks over without saying anything A stool slides over moved with her tk for you to sit with her. She keeps working though " You were a hound with me " She says her voice soft almost low you can hear shame in her voice.. " But you showed me how to be kind.. showed me what love was so i wouldn't forget When I broke my programming logan helped me with that " .

Wolfsbane has posed:
"Sorry..I'm no' sure whit ye mean when ye say I was a hound," Wolfsbane answers, a brow lifting as the stool is brought over thanks to an unseen force, a hand settling against it for the moment. "I know I look a bit like a wolf a' times, though." The shame that comes through the words leads to a thin frown. "Whitever happened, I'm glad..I..was able tae help ye get through it."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Smiles softly as she looks down normally she wouldn't talk about it but it's you well a version of Wolfsbane so she sighs. She Twists a lug nut using a wrench " We were hounds.. they broke us brainwashed us and used our powers to help hunt down other mutants , to kill or capture for their pleasure".

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane moves around to plant herself on the stool, watching Rachel at work on the parts. Told enough of what was going on in that dystopian future, she swallows and bites at her lower lip gently. "I'd..never do tha' tae other mutants. I find it hard tae believe, but I can just tell ye're no' lying when ye say tha'. Och.." It results in her holding her hands in her lap, glancing toward the floor. "I'm so sorry ye had tae go through tha'. Did..did I make it oot there? Did tha' version o' me survive?"

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Sighs " I don't know, " She says honestly " We got " she pauses " Close and they noticed that we were close so they sent you away, sold you to another master". She chews her lip " I didn't see you again after that, I was looking but they attacked the camp before I could find you then I got sent here".

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie comes walking down intot eh garrage, he has own a old pair of jeans with a hole in the knee, and a older T-shirt. He walks in and heads towards the tools. He pauses a moment when he sees Rachel and Rahne hanging out.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"How horrible," Wolfsbane murmurs, shaking her head at the thought of something like that happening. "I hope I made someone pay for whit they did, in tha' case," she adds, more of an edge to her words. It's at that point she looks up to pick out Sam showing up. She gives him a subtle nod.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Looks over her shoulder towards Sam but she keeps working right now she's got the frame up and is working on the engine.. doesn't have wheels or front struts yet. She shrugs " I dunno I'm here and don't know how to go back or even if I can". She says softly " All I can do for them is make sure it doesn't happen".

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods in return to Rahne, and says "Hello ladies, how are you doing? He will walk over to his car with a small toolbox." He pops the hood but is listening tot he two.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"Hullo Sam. Och, all things considered, I'd say all right," Wolfsbane replies, adjusting a fold of her outfit so it sits a little better at her side. She adds to Rachel, "If ye're stuck here, then it sounds like th' best thing we can do is just whit ye say, so it doesnae happen." She inhales, leading to her glancing between Rachel and Sam a couple times.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Nods her head she spots Sam and seems to change the conversation for some reason. She looks back " That's a lot less shiny then I know you for " she comments with a smirk. But she looks to sam " Fine ".

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "I need to change the oil today so thought i would come down. What you working on Rachell?" He will ask as he moves to slide under his car.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane sends Rachel a questioning glance, but nothing verbal is returned for the moment. Maybe she'll have to ask later. For the time being, she lets Sam and Rachel have a little conversation without any interruptions from her. She's still mostly studying the newer addition to the place, the one from the bleak future.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Looks over " Was frustrated nobody around .. so I did the only other thing I know how to do build something. Saw somebody left all this good stuff around so I'm building a bike". She shrugs as she looks to Wolfsbane before Telepathically .oO What? I can sense you wanna ask something for it.. Oh yeah, I'm a telepath surprise! Oo.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and nods his head a bit and says "Left parts about?" He will slide back out and says "where did you find these extra bike parts?" Sitting up as the oil drains into a bin.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane looks back up and over toward Rachel at the thoughts popping up in her head. . o O (Oh, for some reason I'm not surprised at all. But let's talk more about things later) she sends back over, rising from the stool to make her way slowly around the garage. Seems she feels a need to be moving around rather than staying in one place, and while the garage holds little of interest to her, she makes like she's inspecting a few of the tools and other parts. The scent of the motor oil Sam's working on makes its way over to her. "So I found oot about Rachel's future, Sam, just so ye know."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Shrugs to Sam's question and thumb points to where Logan keeps his spare bike parts.. even as she's used most of it to basically make a new bike and she's almost done too!

     When Wolfsbane says that stuff to Sam though she frowns .oO Hey that stuff's private don't be telling him about me being a hound okay. Oo. She bites her lip. oO Please Oo.

Pixie has posed:
Traipsing out to the garage more likely to pass through, Pixie stops short. Looking at the collection of folks she smiles and smoothes out her sweater a little. "Well hello there, taking in the air?" She wonders cheerfully and double takes at Rahne. Her shoulders bounce once and her lips twitch like she's trying to keep down a smile before manages a quiet "Are ye doin' th' Safety Dance in 'ere?".

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and says "Well, we might have to look on replacing those parts, as Logan might have had plans for htem, but we can look into getting some more from the local junk yard, and maybe what ever your needing too.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane's attention shifts back over toward Rachel as another thought forms. She nods slowly, glancing Sam's way before she returns a simple thought. . o O (Oh, aye. I'll keep it between us). She might not be able to accurately describe the whole 'Hound' thing anyway, but at least Rachel told her something. But, it's also Rachel's story to tell, not hers.

While she and Sam figure out a few more parts, Pixie's arrival and reaction to her causes a brow to shoot up. "Th' whit noo?"

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blinks " Why he left them on a shelf to rot.. If he was gonna use em he would have " . She clearly doesn't understand having bits around for later. then again she comes from a time if you had spare parts you used them to make something else..

Pixie has posed:
Covering her smile, Megan comes over to Rahne. "Men Without Hats? Oh come on, they're classic." The Welsh girl says to the Scot as she tries to find it on meTube, the practically ancient music video of ye olde Safety Dance. It's all very renfaire. Looking over to Sam and Rachel she asks "Tinkering with Logan's bits?" her brow quirking a little.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Was not letting them rot, was for if something went wrong on the bike, then he would be able to just walk to the shelf and get the piece he needed. "Getting parts is probably a bit easier in our time, or at least keeping thems tored, and having them ready for when you need them.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I'm no' gaunae be th' one tae let Logan know about this, just so we're clear," Wolfsbane remarks. She may only have just got back, but she knows better than to give Logan news that might get his blood boiling. But, once Pixie's dialed up the video on the phone and it begins to play, she flashes the winged mutant a dry look. "Really? Ye're comparing this tae tha'?" she asks, almost sounding offended, as she gestures to her attire. "This is much nicer."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blinks " Then build another bike " she points to the one she's making " And take off bits you need when you need it " . She rolls her eye's clearly not understanding. Though she looks over " she's right she's way hotter than the girls in that video " .

Pixie has posed:
"Well if'n you're the one saying it." Megan shrugs. "I was going to agree but someone has to be the voice of reason here." She sighs-the weight upon her slim shoulders. "Rachel just doesn't like blondes." She looks to Sam with a crooked smile starting.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will start to say something but at the current bit he will clamp his mouth shut with a soft pop. He will head over to get oil, and an oil filter from the cabniet. Between Momma Guthrie, teaching, and The other new mutants telling him he is a goob at times, he can learn occasionally when best to keep his mouth shut.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane squints mostly at Megan, a faint sniff following at the way this seems to be heading. "I may have seen some people like tha' around home, but tha' is a verra dated video," she notes, tucking her hands into a pair of pockets in her leggings. "In fact.." It's right after Rachel's observation that she sort of freezes on the spot, warmth flowing to her cheeks and ears. Thankfully the fur helps hide that to the naked eye. "Och.." she murmurs.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey snorts " Red heads have to stick together... and I'm not picky about color " She shrugs as she turns on the bike engine to test it and seems to nod.. she could do all this with powers but seems to like doing it with her hands.. She also is trying to avoid the fact that she can feel all the emotions in the room and dosn't know what to do !

Pixie has posed:
Megan chuckles softly. "What's your stance on pink?" She asks and looks to Rahne with a shrug. "Growing up seems to have suited you." She offers lightly and looks to Sam. "Now are lad here, I'm on the fence. He's getting a bit broad in the shoulders. Might need to widen the doors." She teases and tucks her hands into the sleeves of her sweater with a ruffle of her wings.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    A door opens and soon a blur moves in through the garage. Soon on a car appears several boxes of chinese food, hot and steaming. It continues until there is a good number of boxes and the blur slows down to reveal Kaydin. "Hey Sam, brought dinner for you and friends." Kaydin says as he smiles as he gets a box and begins to eat with chopsticks. "They got this great dishes in hong kong, but the exchange rate for american money is crazy insane." He says as he eats a bite of broccoli.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will blinkg and start to say something but stop, and then says "Kaydin, tihs is Rahne Sinclar, and Rachel Grey, I Believe you have met Meghan. Ladies this is our resident speedster Kaydin. You know if you ever start a delivery buisnes I am going to be out of a side job right?" He does use this distraction not to comment on Megan's comment on his looks "So what do I owe ya Kaydin?"

Wolfsbane has posed:
Were Wolfsbane still seated on the stool, she might have just fallen off of it as the food and Kaydin show up. As it is, she stares unblinkingly in the direction of the car and the one who's brought it all in. "Och, ah..hullo, Kaydin," she says politely, hands once more held together before her as the surprise factor fades.

As something of an afterthought to Pixie, she wonders, "Pink? Why?" It's asked with a level of suspicion to it, though her mouth flickers into a brief smile at the mention of growing up. However, the more people begin to show up, there's just another sliver of desire to get along to a quieter place, which Rachel might be readin. "I appreciate th' food, but I think I'm gaunae move along after we've eaten."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Did read what Wolfsbane is feeling she just waves a hand with a spanner in it before she keeps doing what she was doing. She doesn't even look just points and several bits of Chinese float towards her and Wolfsbane. It lands a little bit more away from the group. Before Rachel actually leans over and sniffs at it as if trying to figure out what kinda food is this!

Pixie has posed:
"Kaydin." Megan nods and looks from Rahne to Rachel with a wink of her eye. Looking back she adds "Pink hair because I'm pink. All these redheads running about giving me blues." She sighs and looks over to Sam. "Don't mind my teasing, you're always gonna be our Sammy. Be glad you're filling out. Like your Captain America." she jumps to attention.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Kaydin just eats and waves to each person as he nods. "A pleasure to meet ya ladies." Kaydin says with a grin. "Is it just me or do every girl who comes to Xaviers turns out to be hot?" He asks to Sam before settling back into his food. "You may owe me twenty bucks or so, but I dont need it right away so take your time paying it back."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will pull out his waller, and offers him the money and says "Here ya go, rather pay ya while Ah got it. He looks at Kaydin, and says "And ussualy out number the guys as well." He tells the younger guy. "But always remember most of them can whoop ya, if you tick them off."

Wolfsbane has posed:
As Wolfsbane starts to make a move on the food, Rachel takes care of it for both of them. "Ah, thank ye." She's soon sampling some of what was brought after giving Megan a slow nod. "Just as long as ye dinnae get any ideas about me wi' pink hair," the wolfen woman states. Kaydin's attempts to flirt lead to her giving Sam a look of understanding. He did say something as they were coming home from the airport. "Sam can tell ye all about tha', aye."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey She points at the food then looks at Wolfsbane with an almost whut is this look . But when Sam says that she can't help but send a telepathic.oO Boo ! Oo. Sitting to the side with Wolfsbane sitting down to pop some of it into her mouth to try .

Pixie has posed:
"And that's my cue. I'm gonna go bother my boyfriend." Megan says with a shake of her head. Rahne gets her to laugh though. "I'd never mess with your look lass. There's nothing to improve upon." She looks to Rachel and gives a wave. "Be sure to tell the boys how woman inherits the earth." calling the last bit over her shoulder before heading back in.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "Something I learned when I first came here." Kaydin says as he smiles at Rachel. "Another telepath. That means yet another person I have worry about offending with my dirty thoughts." Kaydin says playfully at rachel and he gestures to her food. "You eat it. Its chinese food." He says as he takes the money from Sam and pockets it. "Thanks. As I said if you need anything, just send me word and I will bring it." He says as he smiles at Rachel. "So Rachel Grey, as in a relative of Jean Grey?" He asks curiously.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "I will keep that in mind, and if you aint got your shields to a point where those thoughts aint being kept in might have to get one of the telepaths to work with you. Did have it a bit easier, Ah guess, we learned from Professor X." He tells the young man "But will say you need to learn to not let a pretty face distract ya to much, get ya in trouble."

Wolfsbane has posed:
The others can talk about mental shields and thoughts of different types. Once Pixie's taken her leave, Wolfsbane's main focus is on chowing down. Lemon chicken, kung pao beef, pork fried rice, egg rolls, whatever the case may be, she's sampling most of it with a hunger. "S'good," she says after she's finished chewing a few mouthfuls.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Nods " She's my mum, " She says softly before she seems to enjoy the food and starts to eat it .. she cocks her head " never tasted that kinda food china is a radioactive wasteland in my time.. Korea bombed em to death as a show of force and got nukes for their troubles" .

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "I see a resemblance. If you need anything Rachel, just let me know and I will do what I can to help you out." Kaydin says with a friendly smile to the girl and he nods to Sam. "Professor Xavier commented that the Speedforce connection actually causes my thoughts to increase in speed to a point that trying to read my thoughts is difficult. He could make out a word or so there but thats it." He says as he finishes one of the boxes of food and opens another one and begins to eat it. He then looks to Rahne.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will look over to Kaydin and hmms "Not sure about that, we had one with us, who he could not read mind, but is good to know, can you slow your thoughts enough to communicate on telepathic channels if need be?

Wolfsbane has posed:
"Tha' sounds awful," Wolfsbane murmurs, told of another bit of news from Rachel's future. The more she's learned, the more she's glad she isn't in that world. But..could that still come to pass? Her appetite fades to an extent, her head tilting briefly in Kaydin's direction. "We may have tae speak another time, sorry. I feel like taking a walk."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Keeps eating she looks over at them she is clearly enjoying this Chinese food. Though she cocks her head " WE had a speedster time or two.. they had me read her mind. it's not easy".

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "Yes I can. Its difficult to move and do things slowly but I am learning how to do it better." Kaydin says to Sam as he nods. He smiles to Wolfsbane. "It was nice meeting you!" He says after her before nodding to Rachel. Then Bob Marley's I shot the sheriff comes from his pocket. "I need to get that. Thats my brother." He says as he answers his phone. "Yea?" He asks as he walks off at normal speed this time, proving he can go slow.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "So did you get everything you need for the bike Rachel? If not, once Ah get my oil changed, we can go check the junk yard and see if we can find what ya need.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Shakes her head " he had a bike and a half of parts " seh says simply " I took from over there too " she points to some of the other area's some of them are for the more experimental parts though she looks as wolfbane walks up and leaves.. She stands and sends to sam .oO I think she need somebody to talk to Oo.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will look after Rahne, and hmms a bit "Ah am not sure, Ah am more thinking she might need a bit ussually when she is going for a walk to think it is more a four legged run to be honest. Ah think it lets her see things clearer in a way to be honest."
