Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Black Panther, Spider-Woman (Drew)

Black Panther has posed:
The knock at Jessica's door would have been unexpected. Well, she likely heard the mansion staffer's steps in the hall, but there was no particular reason to expect him to stop at her door.

The package that the man was delivering to Jessica might also have come as a surprise. A large box, wrapped a blue lace ribbon and tied in a fanciful bow. Along with an envelope, thick stationary and the name Jessica written on it in an elegant script. The member of the mansion staff passed the items over to her, saying they had been delivered to the mansion. If she had nothing else for him, he departs, leaving her there with envelope and box.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica is taken aback by the delivery, for certain. "So help me, if this is one of Wade's body parts...." She takes the package into her room, however, suspecting such a gift would not come wrapped so fancifully. She sets the elegantly - wrapped gift on her table and turns it to an exact 45-degree angle, admiring the handiwork, before taking the envelope and opening it to see what could possibly have broken her several-year streak of receiving no gifts whatsoever. Clearly, she has lost her touch.

Black Panther has posed:
Within the envelope is a piece of thick stationary, with more of the well-formed, hand-written lettering:

    Jessica,

I ask the pleasure of your company at dinner this evening out in town. I am assured that we will be able to enjoy the meal without too much bustle or too many people about us. Within the box, please find a dress that I pray will be to your liking. Barbara from the mansion staff is also making herself available, should you wish it.

    - T'Challa

The box is certainly about the right size for a dress. Barbara serves many purposes at the mansion, including working on super hero costumes, doing tailoring, and also she has a hand as a hairdresser or with makeup. Or so Jessica may have heard from Janet.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica narrows her eyes for a moment as her gaze slips sideways to the gift box. It's always a trap for a man to choose a dress for a woman. Too large, or too small? The woman is obligated to take offense, either way. Too much cleavage? Who does he think I am?? Not enough skin? Why, what's wrong with my cleavage?? She carefully opens the box, preparing herself to get hopping mad, as is her womanly duty as the recipient of such a thoughtful gift. "Ah well, if all else fails, I can eat pizza and sleep in it, right?" she asks of no one in particular, as she pulls the bow from the box and carefully unwrap the gift.

Black Panther has posed:
The blue bow could have provided foreshadowing for the dress, for the color of it is a close match. Primarily light blue with decor in white and deeper blue that stylistically suggest flowers without quite looking floral. The dress has a fairly high neckline, while the arms are a lovely mesh of blue ribbon atop a finer, less visible black. A blue belt will gather the waist in, showing off a woman's figure nicely, without being too revealing in front. Small cut outs on the hips will just show small amounts of skin, perfectly sized to be modestly suggestive.

Should Jessica take the dress out of the box, though, she finds something completely unconventional about the dress. The hem is at a suitable length it should fall far enough on the thigh to not be considered overly short. But from the hem, two dozen black thick tassels hang. Standing still they would look like a long skirt almost. But then they look like the sort of thing that a young woman filled with a zest for life would have a difficult time not giving a twirl now and then.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica sighs, looking over the dress as she holds it up, then in front of her as she looks into the full-length mirror. "Well, it's beautiful...how am I supposed to be mad at /this/?" She takes a quick shower, washing away her day, then dries her hair to fall straight and sleek. Finally, she begins to dress, adding stockings before slipping on the dress. "Like a glove," she mutters to herself, before turning again to look into the mirror. Her face alights, brows arched as she admires the dress. She cannot help doing a quick twist to make the tassles swing. "Soo perfect..." With that, she fires off a text to T'Challa: "Found a lovely dress I didn't even know that I had. Should we go someplace to celebrate?"

Black Panther has posed:
There is not a text message response. Instead there is very shortly a soft knock at the door. Jarvis's voice starts up and says, "Jessica? I have been asked to inform you there is a debonair man outside your door." An African accented voice calls through the door, "Smartly dressed and debonair."

Jarvis amends. "Jessica? I have been asked to inform you there is a smartly dressed and debonair man outside your door." After a pause. "Though you look far better," Jarvis adds to the woman of his own accord.
