Synopsis: The Guardians of the Galaxy and company rescue space princesses.
Cast of Characters: Mon-El, Star-Lord, Skygirl, Lobo, Rocket Raccoon, Sindr, Adam Warlock
Tinyplot: Daughters of Daratar

Mon-El has posed:
Omega. A lawless planetoid in the outer rim of the fringe system Faryar. A call had gone out from one Emperor Corlis, a rich yet concerned ruler and father who'd had his daughters taken from him and sold into slavery on that rock full of unsavory characters.

Rescuing royal damsels in distress for a good honking sum of credits is definitely the sort of trouble that the Guardians of the Galaxy go hiking around the great black void looking for. It's also something other space-faring heroes might be interested in. At any rate, Star-Lord and his team have put a fair amount of effort into scouting out this lawless land and locating the lost space princesses, an effort that has rewarded them with information regarding the girls' whereabouts.

So, the time has come and the team has ventured out to a more suburban sort of region on Omega, where the club called Arcadia is located. According to intel gained from their new friend Lar Gand, the young princesses are enslaved there. This area doesn't appear to be quite as run-down as some of the more central locations--as a matter of fact Arcadia is appears quite nice. The outside is painted a sort of dark indigo color, with neon glowing motifs around the edges. A large holographic sign sports the club's name in an attractive font that rotates slowly above a row of glass double doors that must be the main entry.

The dimly-lit interior seems to be filled with a good number of patrons from all around the galaxy, but it doesn't seem to be terribly overcrowded or anything.

Star-Lord has posed:
Scouting had been done, and so had a call for reinforcements gone out. Lobo had been notified of the bounty after events with the Cybertronians, and Star-Lord had 'invited' him to the team going after the Princesses.

Currently, the team was around a small holographic emitter Star-Lord had taken from the Milano and is currently using it to show off a floor plan for Arcadia.

With dots everywhere and rooms shown, Star-Lord gestures over it. "So that's the plan. Hit them from the front. Make their security come after us, and I sneak in the back and sneak the Princesses out under a cloak field I bought." Star-Lord looks to Rocket, "Rocket can hack their security and see what he can shut down while the big guys go in hard. Any objections?"

Skygirl has posed:
So Janz is trying to find ner home planet, after its location was mysteriously reased from her navigation system. The Problem is all she has is a short range life pod, she has to stop and recharge frequently, usually after every trip through hyperspace. She wound up dropping in this system and her pod was quickly captured, and she was sent to this place...whith a number of other girls who apparently do not want to be here. Janz had her stunner taken away, but the captors apparently do not know about Kormoan metabolism. She is very powerful after exposure to the local sun, but is waiting for the right time to act. Her father and her brother are cops back home, she wants to rescue the hostages...not just get away herself.

Lobo has posed:
"Listen, these geeks ain't gonna need any o' this fancy plannin', all we need ta do is go in, rip some faces, an' get out with them princess broads."

As he spoke, plumes of purple smoke drifted up from the mouth and nose of the ghost-white Czarnian. With a snort, the leather-clad man had his booted feet up on the table, his bike a few feet away floating near one of the nearby walls.

Rocket Raccoon has posed:
Rocket has a rather large backpack for a small creature, heavy and laden with...stuff. Weapons. Gear. Snack food. He's walking along with a bouncing stride, keeping his head down, a hood pulled up to keep his animalistic features a bit hidden. "Why can't these mooks ever keep ahold of their friggin' kids? Seriously, it ain't like it's a secret that people wanna kidnap princesses. It's a friggin' boomin' business. I dunno why people even be royal anymore, it ain't worth the likelihood you're gonna get gacked."

Sindr has posed:
"Perhaps they are simply weak, and do not properly train their children to be able to take care of themselves." 'Ember' suggests to the little furry thing that Quill brought with him. "Their ineptitude creates opportunity for the likes of us, so I won't complain about it." She smiles just a little bit.

Mon-El has posed:
The interior of Arcadia is meant to be relaxing...well for its patrons, anyway. Cool-colored neon lamps are scattered about the walls, but they are not too bright, so as to give a stress-reducing vibe. The aliens who run the place don't -appear- to know about Janz's powerful nature--but who knows if they really do or not. At any rate, she has been relegated to serving tables and delighting patrons in whatever way they wished. One of the girls, Thea, is on a small round stage in the center of the room, dancing to some space ballad in a revealing costume. Her sister Teya isn't anywhere to be seen just yet, but that might mean she's in one of the back rooms, being forced into indulging the pleasures of some lowlife who has gotten rich off of others' pain.

One of the managers at the club, a humanoid sort with goat-like horns, glares at Janz. "Hey, get a move on." he says rudely, gesturing toward a table cluttered with unfinished meals and dirty dishes.

The warehouse where Peter and his team are planning remains quiet--no ambushes. Yet, anyway. But they should probably make a move before that changes.

Star-Lord has posed:
"If it all goes to hell, at least you'll be in your element, Lobo." Star-Lord offers with a grin, before he nods to the others. "I'll leave you to your work. Get started as soon as possible. The less security to sneak by for me, the better." A finger goes behind his ear to 'click' his helmet on, and it'snaps' into place around his face, "Good hunting."

With that, he starts to head out, sneaking his way over to Arcadia, and the back entry he found. Now, it's just a matter of seeing if he can knock out the guards, or he has to wait for them to get the call to back up the rest of security.

Skygirl has posed:
Janz comments to the Manager, sounding like anyone else grumbling, "I am a PILOT, not a bus-girl." Still she goes over to the table and gets to work...at a normal human pace. This artificial light is not going to charge her any, so saving power until it is needed is a good idea. Not that she will run out anytime soon, not unless she pushes her limits, but no need to be wasteful, or give anything away. Now where IS that missing girl? Hpefully not in too much trouble.

Lobo has posed:
He looked over to the yapping raccoon and the hulking giant woman, giving the two of them a sneer before inhaling deep, and spitting out some phlegm that had been building up in his lungs. One of the side effects of a Czarnian healing factor, everything built up ten times as fast as it would for a regular, more frail species.

"Awright, time fer the Main Man ta make his entrance!"

Lobo's path to the club was more direct than Peter's, instead of zigzagging and skulking around, he rushed from a straight line to the side of the wall, smashing through or at least attempting to with his great strength, and gave a loud lion's roar as he glared at everyone with blood-red eyes.

"Daddy's home, losers. Who's gettin' tha belt first?!"

Rocket Raccoon has posed:
Rocket mutters under his breath, "Main Man, more like Main Slob. This dude smells worse than a Phallaxian yak with a case o' the runs," he says. Still, people don't tend to pay much attention to him, being short and furry and easy to dismiss until he pulls out the large amount of weapons from his backpack.

He scurries in quickly and sets up camp underneath a tablecloth, starting to assemble a Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator with his clawed hands while muttering obscenities to himself. "Who put Quill in charge anyway, friggin' Space Lord my tookus, Lord o' that, I ask ya, but does anybody know, nope, Lord of the Buttheads..."

Mon-El has posed:
Star-Lord wouldn't need to take out any guards or bouncers near the freight door in the back, since if there had been any there, they immediately rushed to the front when Lobo...well, just smashed through the wall. The door is locked, but certainly by now he must have come up with a plan for that. If he goes inside, he'll find himself in a storage room filled with crates and boxes, must be some kind of receiving area. There's a drone in front of a console that tracks inventory, but it ignores him completely.

In the front room, dust and debris flies everywhere, and security spring to action, pointing their weapons at the Main Man. "Stand down, or we will use lethal force!" they shout. The rest of the patrons and staff sort of stand there with shocked expressions on their faces as they stare at the Czarnian.

Thea quickly gets down from the stage and ducks under a table, just as freightened as the rest...and finds herself face to face with Rocket. She stares at whatever it is he's assembling, because it definitely doesn't look like a new bedspread. "wh--what is -that-?!"

Lobo has posed:
Standing there covered in dust and debris, the seven foot powerhouse wiped a bit off of his shoulder, patting down his vest a bit before glancing over at the bravest bouncer. Lobo had a grin that was more predatory than 'happy', even as he spit out his cigar stump into some patron's drink. And in a flash, the hook around his arm was swung around and hurled over to try and pierce and catch just under the tough guy's jaw.

"Lethal force, huh? Say that's a swell idea, don't mind if I does, Clyde!"

And then he pulled. Hard. The hook and chain was made from a material that was hard enough to easily withstand the amount of force Lobo could exert. Was that the same, with this man's face and/or jawbone?

Skygirl has posed:
Hmmm, not sure what kind of being that is that just broke down the wall, but Janz figures that will make a good distraction. She lets her eyes go blue as she amps her senses, hopefully she can find the missing girl quickly with super hearing and x-ray vision. SHE at least, recognizes a detonator when she sees one (being in the Military herself), so find the prisoners, grab them, and get out fast before they are reduced to cinders (or whatever the specific type of bomb does). Thea will, hopefully, be safe enough for a moment while Janz recovers the other girl (or girls of there are more than the two).

Rocket Raccoon has posed:
Rocket rolls out from under the table, with an underslung weapon hooked to the straps on his backpack. He starts to rotate in a counterclockwise motion, unleashing a torrential rain of hellfire bullets, burning incendiaries purchased on the black market. Some ammos punches through armor, some has stopping force, some is good at long ranges.

This stuff just plain hurt.

"Awright, ya friggin' bozos, let's make it real clear. I ain't entirely sure why we're here, but I do know that if you get in our way, I'm gonna burn your butt with bullets. You got me, ya wretched scumbags?"

Star-Lord has posed:
Star-Lord is nothing if not resourceful... and he's had plenty of time to gather tools for thieving and sneaking. The lock is identified, and picked apart. Soon, he's in the storage area... and just to be on the safe side, takes one of his EMP discs and slaps it on the drone to disable it. He doesn't want any surprises tonight.

Soon, he's heading into the facility proper, his element guns holstered for a silent blaster pistol instead.... he's not looking to make a mess as he goes. Anyone who gets in his way he hides from... until he can shoot them from behind.

Sindr has posed:
Sindr strolls in behind Lobo after the dust has settled just a bit, a nasty looking following of flaming... daggers? Spikes? Whatever, floating alongside her. She identifies targets that could pose a threat to their group and... little fwooshing sounds as the burning things jam into tender bits and start frying their people.

"Right behind you... My dear... 'Main Man', Lobo." Sindr says smoothly, looking around for more targets to cause pain to. There is screaming, and she seems to kind of like the sound of it.

Mon-El has posed:
Lobo's hook flies out and catches the guard who just threatened him under the jaw. But...something odd happens. His skin starts to change color and texture, and he starts to sprout an additional pair of arms under the first pair. Fingers turn into claws, and his jaw widens into a gaping maw full of sharp, narrow canines. Spikes grow out of his shoulders and back as his clothes are shredded. As Lobo pulls, the creature is jerked toward him, a long, pointed tongue hanging out from between its pointed teeth. A spiked tentacle extends out of an arm and whips toward the Main Man, aiming to thrust straight through his chest.

All around, the same transformation seems to be happening to all the other patrons and staff, aside from some of the slaves...

Thea just shrinks back when Rocket seems to ignore her question, but she would've gotten her answer anyway as he just starts unloading on everyone and all hell breaks loose. Lobo is the main focus, but Rocket's wild firing draws some of the aggro off of him as one of the recently-transformed patrons snarls and charges at the raccoon. Sindr's fire also draws some attention, and a couple of them start to charge at her, bladed tentacles extending out toward her.

Janz's attempts to locate the girls would reveal Thea cowering under that table where Rocket just was, and Teya in one of the back rooms with some other alien. They don't appear to be aware of the chaos that's going on up front. She might also catch sight of Star-Lord sneaking out of the receiving area in the back.

Speaking of Star-Lord, the EMP takes the drone down for the count, and it flops onto the console it was operating. He would then find himself in the middle of a hallway that runs the width of the building. It is lined with soft, grey carpet on the floors, expensive art on the walls, and about a dozen doors with LED signals on them, indicating whether they are vacant or occupied. It seems half of them are showing the 'occupied' indicator.

Lobo has posed:
That spike goes right through Lobo's stylish, sleeveless band shirt, impaling his flesh in the process. Of course, unfortunately for this creature, that meant it was in close contact with The Main Man, even as his flesh, organs and super-dense super powerful muscles immediately began growing back around the stinger, constricting it in almost a miniature bearhug. At the same time, each of Lobo's hands went inside the creature's mouth, left going on the bottom lip while the right went on the top.

    "Open wide, freak!"

How far could that mouth open, before the face and skull split open? Chief Scientist Lobo was eager to find out, for science! And also for idle curiousity!

Skygirl has posed:
Janz draws upon her solar reserves and moves down to collect Teya. Janz is not sure what these creatures are, but she hopes they have not replaced either of the girls with their shape-shifters. She moves at as high a speed as she can without causing problems, and if required she will break down doors or walls to get there (but will try to avoid that).

Star-Lord has posed:
Each door is systematically unlocked... and once it is, he shuts it right back again... and speaks into the commnet for the Guardians, "Sneaking the girls out is not an option anymore, looks like. Warlock, I need you in here for defense and transport."

Star-Lord hits his cloaking field, hoping to delay any attacks long enough for his backup to arrive, and he takes out his element guns to spray fire at the door locks... trying to melt them so the things stay inside just long enough for Warlock to arrive.

Adam Warlock has posed:
"Very well, Star-Lord," Warlock replies over the comms before he flies into action, quite literally leaving the ground to move as quickly as he can into the building. Staff in hand, he flies in through the door Star-Lord had entered in earlier, hitting it with some oomph to get it out of his way.

As he sees the leader of the Guardians melting the doors shut the end of the mage's staff begins to glow brightly, ready to hit any enemies who show themselves with cosmic energy. "Where are the hostages? I can sense numerous life forces throughout this establishment, many of them with hostile intent."

Sindr has posed:
"Now /this/ is interesting!" Sindr states with a distinct uptick in her excitement, and feels MUCH less compelled to hold back. She strides further into the room, larger and larger blades swiftly erupting to life in her hands, and used to impale or cleave into any wraith things that get in her way.

Further reaches of the room get a dagger that conveniently explodes to cause further distractions at critical junctures, allowing her to take advantage of exploits in her opponents weaknesses.

Mon-El has posed:
The creature's head is ripped in half as Lobo snaps its jaws, its body falling away to the floor. He is left with parts of its tentacle stuck in his chest as it is torn off when the thing falls. But he is definitely not out of woods, as he finds himself surrounded. One of them tries to grab a leg, while another an arm, with a third attempting to grip his waist from and a fourth reaches for his neck. It seems they are trying to hold him down while smaller tendrils emerge from their bodies and try to pierce his as they aim to force their essence onto his. If they manage to get a grip on him, there it's definitely not a good feeling--like burning on the inside.

Sindr's fiery blades burn off the tentacles that had been reaching for her. The creatures hiss angrily and try to dodge the fire. One sort of hangs back for the time being while the other seems to grow a long, spiked tail that whips out at her and tries to knock her off her feet.

When Janz smashes through the wall into the back hallway, she will find Star-Lord and Adam Warlock back there, standing in front of the door to the room where she can see Teya is. Suddenly, the door is blown off, and anyone who is familiar with magic and its use will be able to tell that's what was used. Standing in the doorway now is another one of those monsterous creatures, but this one looks a little smaller in stature than the others. It has six red beady eyes, three on each side, and in one of its four hands it is holding Teya.
"Is -this- what you are after?" it taunts, as the girl shakes in terror.

"P-please..." she begs, but doesn't finish the thought.

Skygirl has posed:
Janz has little familiarity with magic, but she knows how to fight and has a lot os strength and speed. She moves forward with blinding swiftness and grabs the arms of the creature, forcing them to release the girl of she can. She does not know the weak point of this species, but hopefully what she has will be enough.

Lobo has posed:
One creature is grabbing at Lobo's leg, its slimy gross appendages touching his very stylish and expensive black leather pants that were tucked into his knee-high 'Stomper' boots, complete with built in kneepads. He didn't have time to put those kneepads to use, because another thing was grabbing at his left wrist and yet another is gripping tightly at his waist. This was annoying to the Czarnian, but not the end of the world, because as the very last one tries to lunge for him, that last one gets an uppercut for its troubles. He didn't know just how strong these things were yet, but he did know that he was trying to aim this thing well above the roof, maybe send it into the sky up a few dozen stories, give it a little something to think about. Once that immediate problem was dealt with, then he could focus on pulling loose his machete, and start hacking away at the things holding him. He wasn't being careful, and if he had to carve into himself in order to carve into these things, well that wouldn't be a problem for him in the slightest. In the meantime, he snarled and yelled out.

"Ey, Rocket an' Hefty, you two mind getting some'a these clowns offa me?!"

Star-Lord has posed:
"Pretty sure four arms is hostile!" Star-Lord taunts right back. He taps the Jet Boots activation switch, and suddenly he's rocketing right at Teya with more than enough force to get her away from Ugly. "You a-holes are idiots." For anyone else, doing that into the room would be practically suicide... but Star-Lords had practice with flying in tight spaces, and turns his legs just enough to rocket right back out into the hallway.

"One down, about a dozen more to go!" Star-Lord shouts, stealth being thrown out the window at this point.

Sindr has posed:
Well /that's/ convenient! Sindr - being one that would usually sport a tail useful for such tactics, isn't in the least surprised by it. She drops to a knee, spins on it to grab the tail, and promptly yanks on it to turn that wraith into her own personal... uh. Wrecking ball? Anyway, she's stronger than she looks, and aims to use that guy to slam into one of Lobo's nuisances and let them take each other out, as it were.

And in case anyone forgot, fire does rather rudely erupt around her. Might not be wise to draw her attention too acutely. Speaking of, another couple of fire lances streak across the room, hungry for wraith flesh.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Magic? That's right up Warlock's alley. The golden being turns to face the creature holding a hostage and frowns at it before pointing his staff. "Release them or face..." Of course, the girl is released when Janz and Quill rip them out of the extremities of the Dire Wraith and leave Adam with a clear shot at the odd alien. Magical energies tear through the air from the tip of Warlock's staff in a stream aimed at the white monstrosity! The mystical force is potent, very little held back in the effort to neutralize the threat of the beastly magician before he can cast again.

Mon-El has posed:
The wraith that had been attempting the frontal assault on Lobo gets thrown upward and hits a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Subsequently, both monster and chandelier fall, landing on the table Thea was hiding under. It's not quite clear whether she's all right or not, but it seems Lobo and Sindr are distracted with the fight, anyway...

Speaking of the fight, Sindr's blunt weapon is swung at the pile of Lobo and wraiths, though the spikes on the tail would likely cause some damage to her hands with how hard she'd need to be gripping it in order to make this happen. A couple of them are knocked away from the Main Man, and start to lunge at "Ember" instead, but are end up burnt to a crisp by fire that probably singes Lobo as well. Ah well, he's probably dealt with worse friendly fire before, right? At any rate, there is the one behind him left, still trying to sink its tentacles into his body and take possession of it. The burning pain is still there, but isn't as potent as before now that the others have been taken down for the count.

Janz and Star-Lord's concerted effort is enough to tear Teya away from the sorcerer, and besides that he has more pressing worries to deal with now, in the form of a powerful golden mage. Indeed, magical energies fire out of its hands to meet Warlock's. They meet in the middle and explode into a shockwave that slams into everything in its radius, including Star-Lord and Janz, knocking Teya out of their grip. She falls to the floor, still trembling. Also, the walls in this hallway aren't looking so good, either now.

Star-Lord has posed:
"Woah. WOAH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT!" Star-Lord has had practice with his Jet Boots. Plenty of it, in fact... but there's no accounting for magic shockwaves in relatively tight corridors.

Not only does Star-Lord lose his grip on Teya... but he also goes rocketing right back into the storage room, and slams head first into the door, then the ceiling... before the Jet Boots deactivate as he is knocked out.

If he were only human, Star-Lord would be dead. Instead, he's lying on the ground... and isn't moving.

Skygirl has posed:
Janz feels that...whatever force is employed is apparently something tha can hurt her. She recovers quick, however, and while the monster is distracted by the golden guy, she grabs the child and flies out of the room. She grabs the tech guy off the floor and drops both him and Teya outside of the building before heading back in after Thea.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Rocking back from the force of the magical explosion he was partly responsible for, Adam Warlock attempts a different tactic. Lifting his free hand he summons a shield of cosmic energy to keep the alien sorcerer and his spells from leaving the room. As Quill and the girl are grabbed by the helpful stranger Warlock is able to focus his attention on his enemy again, this time attempting to use his magic to invade the mind of his enemy with a powerful command: sleep.

Lobo has posed:
What does burning Czarnian smell like? It's important to ask, because it's no doubt what everyone is smelling right now, and yet even with his skin boiling and bubbling in places, the Main Man doesn't seem to worry too much. The first Wraith he killed is still attached via the stinger through Lobo's chest, and the corpse is dragging around behind the bounty hunter every time he does anything. Like when he chops and slashes with that big over-sized machete of his at the ones that get too close.

"These geeks are gettin' on my last damn nerve...where are the broads we're getting outta here again? Collect everyone with hooters, we can bring 'em to the Milano and sort 'em out later!"

It's not often Lobo barks orders...well, he usually bosses and bullies others around, but it's possibly the first time he's done so to "team-mates". In his left hand is his Rippergun, firing four-round bursts of nail-like bullets, letting them rip through tables, chairs, and of course, letting them rip through alien faces chests and throats. If these things bleed, the Ghost Of Czarnia(tm) is probably covered in it, enough so that he has to spit the stuff out of his mouth every so often. And he's probably gonna have to clean out his mustache later, but this was the prize you paid in this business. He was used to it.

"I never get used ta this!"

    Oh. Nevermind.

Sindr has posed:
Sindr does indeed take some damage to her hands and forearms, and now seems to be leaking actual flame instead of blood -- honestly, nobody to this point has actually seen her bleed at all, so... Anyway, that doesn't seem to bother her too much. "Oh come /on/ you pathetic /worms/! Four arms and tentacles, and this is the best you can do?! I've fought wild /boars/ with more vim and vigor than you listless, slackjawed mouth breathing sacks of downy flesh!"

'Ember' heads straight for one of the wraiths, eyes blazing with flame, smallish cracks starting to show on her form, smoldering with deeply rooted molten stuff. One hand snaps out to grab a wraith by the throat, while a blazing blade is thrust for its mid-section.

"CHOKE ON THE SMOKE AND ASH OF YOUR OWN BURNING INNARDS, you feckless writhing TOAD!!" Sindr roars... Well, she's definitely gotten into things...

Mon-El has posed:
Fortunately, Janz is able to rescue Star-Lord and Teya, depositing them outside in a place that is hopefully safe for now. Now in that back hallway, it's just the sorcerer versus Adam Warlock. But as he starts to erect that shield, the alien shakes its head. "Bah, this club is inconsequential. Omega is already ours. Take your stupid princesses and go if that's all you wanted." With that, there is a flash of pale blue light and he disappears.

Janz would find Thea still under that table which is now under a broken chandelier and a dead wraith. Fortunately, she seems to be okay, if a bit shaken up with a few scratches and bruises here and there.

Sindr and Lobo continue hacking and slashing and burning left and right, but these monsters don't seem to give up at all. They just keep throwing themselves recklessly at the pair until they're deader than a doornail. It's really a mess, but eventually the two of them are able to mow the lot of them down, even if they are left with blood and wraith appendages hanging out of their bodies where the creatures had stabbed. That is, except for the sorcerer who appears to have teleported away.

Skygirl has posed:
Janz is worried, though she gathers Thea and the small furry fellow with all the weapons and transports them over by Teya and the tech guy. The problem is: can she tell if the girls are themselves, or have been replaced by the shape shifters? Her senses are good, but can they tell...she really does not know.

Lobo has posed:
When the wave of monsters stop coming, it's only then that the nonstop deafening sounds of automatic gunfire cease, until it's just the ambient noises of a silent bar. There is Lobo, covered in gore, and embedding that machete in the corpse of one still-twitching Wraith so that he can slowly pull the barbs out of his own flesh, and so that he can let a number of empty spent shells clatter to the ground where they create a dissonant chaotic flurry of sounds and almost-musical notes.

    "Yeah."

It was the only thing he said for a long while, before finally looking around, seemingly still recovering from the fog of warfare.

"Hey, Adam, didn't see ya pop in! Feetal's giz, I think I had enough of shapeshifters fer an entire fraggin' galactic unit!"

Adam Warlock has posed:
"Greetings, Lobo," says one off color man to another as the the golden mage enters the main area of the bar. "They seem to think they're in control of Omega, which does not bode well for us. I think we should get the hostages back to the ship so that we can return them to their parents." His eyes take in the rest of the establishment, "There appear to be some slaves here. I would like to free them before returning to the ship."

Sindr has posed:
Sindr is standing off to the side of the room in the middle of a thick pile of ash, several blades still burning amongst those ashes like they're physical things - and strangely, they seem to be - until one by one, they wink out of existence.

The one people have come to know as Ember is herself smoldering, her garb smoking a bit and her flesh riddled with jagged trails of glowing embers. Not all of these marks seem to match wounds, so perhaps there is a cost to her powers?

Regardless, she bears a smirk on her face as she surveys the destruction she has wrought. This smirk grows into an outright smile as she hears Adam speak about the owners of Omega. "So they're the ones..." she murmurs, her tone amused and dark all at once. "I would speak with the slaves. Any who /wish/ to leave may do so, but I would see if there are any who desire vengeance against their captors."

Mon-El has posed:
Janz is successful in collecting the girls and making sure they are safe with Star-Lord and Rocket outside. As far as she or anyone could tell, they are themselves and are not wraiths. Presumably, if they were, they would have transformed earlier and fought with the others.

Inside, the entire building can be heard groaning under the stress of the punishment it has been taking, and a few pieces of debris starts to fall from the ceiling. It would seem this entire place is about to collapse. If Adam can detect life forms, he'd see that there are 10 others left alive in here, who must have been slaves as they were hiding and not out fighting. But if he wants to rescue them, he'd probably best act fast before what's left of the club comes crashing down on them.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Sensing the presence of the slaves in the building still, Adam gets to work trying to free them. He says to Sindr, "If you could get them outside before the building collapses it would be for the best." He's quite quick when he moves to stand them up and remove their collars with a little burst of cosmic energy to fry their locks. "Get outside, quickly. Help those who are injure get to safety." His instructions are given loudly but there's no menace behind them, he's simply trying to get those still left inside to listen without him having to raise his voice.

Skygirl has posed:
Janz looks around for her stun gun. Unless they hid it with lead or the like, she should be able to find it if it is anywhere nearby, without having to move until she does. Ker people are fairy pacifistic, she prefers to use her weapon to physical combat.

Sindr has posed:
Sindr of /course/ helps rescue people; it's probably the most efficient way to offer any of them who aren't too terribly traumatized a chance at vengeance against their captors. Oh, and uh... you know, good deeds and karma and all that or whatever.

Lobo has posed:
And of course, Lobo doesn't even go as far as Sindr. Who cared if some random people hated other random people, that didn't matter to the Main Man one bit.
