A Regular Sunday Night

Location:	Some Italian Place
Synopsis:	Morrigan takes a break for dinner and meets Jackie who doesn't like eating alone.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan had decided to take a break and head down the street to grab a bite to eat. Italian never got old for the Doctor. New York cold was no joke, so the woman is wearing her long black wool coat over her jeans and long sleeve shirt. There's a pair of well worn boots on her feet. She shakes her hair out a bit once she comes in the door of the eatery and gives a wave to the hostess, "I just have an order for pick up." she tells her.

Darkness has posed:
It'd be cliche to think Jackie only ever eats Italian food, but today he was in the mood for something classically Italian. Slipping in behind Morrigan he holds the door for her once she opens it and then waits for her to enter before following in behind. The long black over coat he wears over his black suit is slid off and folded over one arm.

Nodding to Morrigan he hears she is picking up food and gives her a slight shake of the head. "You really should eat in. Good Italian food should be enjoyed right when it is read. Not after being lugged out into the cold." Smiling he adds, "Come on, sit with me." Without waiting to see if she follows he motions for the hostess to lead them to his regular table.

Its a corner booth that faces the restaurant giving them a view of the whole place while providing a quiet place to enjoy the food. The jacket is handed off to the hostess and turning Jackie motions to toward the booth to let his guest slide in if she ended up following him.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a bit of a look as the door is held, "Thank you." she offers with a smile to Jackie. Though his invitation is a bit of a surprise and it takes her just a minute to process it. "I guess I'm eating in." she looks to the hostess. She then shrugs out of her coat and hurries after the man. "I'm not really dressed for dinner. Apologies on that." she tells him once she's caught up.

"Thanks for the invitation though. I didn't really want to eat back at my office." Morrigan tells him as she looks to him. She settles into a seat at the booth and then looks to him. "I'm guessing you're a regular?" she asks with a smile.

Darkness has posed:
Waiting for Morrigan to take seat, Jackie unbuttons the single button of his suit coat before slipping into the booth beside her. Settling in he gives a nod and says, "You are welcome. I have to admit that I hate eating alone so this seems to work out for the both of us." Smiling he offers his hand adding, "I'm Jackie. Regular and lover of Italian food."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Mo gives a look to him as he unbuttons the jacket and she smiles, "Well, that's fortuitous then." she agrees. Then she offers her hand across the table, "I'm Morrigan McFerrain. I work down at Mount Sinai." she tells him. "And good to know there's another regular about. I'm in here about once a week." she admits to that.

Darkness has posed:
Shaking the offered hand with a polite squeeze, Jackie orders wine for the table as the hostess brings food to the table. Its the order she had put in to go as well as his regular order along with bread and salad. Settling in with a glass of wine the dark haired man looks over the food and the table before looking back to Mo. "Once a week? We should do this more often." A wink follows before he asks, "What do you do out at Mount Sinai? If you don't mind me asking?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's hand gives his a shake as well, "It's nice to meet you, Jackie." she tells him with a smile. Then she settles her hands in her lap when food arrives. Though the wink is caught and she blushes just a touch, "Sure, just let me know when you're going to be in." she teases him. She takes a sip of her wine and then she shakes her head, "I don't mind. I'm a Doctor of Pathology. I focus in Hematology more specifically." she offers. "And you? What do you do for work?" she asks him.

Darkness has posed:
"Pathology? Nice... So smart." There is a smile as Jackie reaches into his pocket to hand over a simple card with his name and number. "Anytime you want to meet up here give me a call." Just then the hostess comes over and says there is a call for him in the back. Nodding he stands and says, "I'll cover the bill, sorry work is calling... but call me, yeah?"
