Dinner with Friends
Date of Scene: 12 February 2019
Location: Salem Center, New York
Synopsis: Jubilee, Kitty and Rogue go to a local burger and hotdog joint for some dinner. A couple others show up too!
Cast of Characters: Jubilee, Shadowcat, Rogue, Kaydin LeGraize, Souvenir

Jubilee has posed:
Having tossed her two galpals a text, Jubilee summoned an Uber for them to head over to the infamous hotdog shoppe that they used to frequent when they were younger. Pushing through the doors, she takes in a deep breath, throwing her arms up in the air. "Chili dogs!" She calls out excitedly, sliding her pink shades upwards on to the top of her head.

As she saunters to the counter, she slams her loyalty rewards card on the table and nudges it forward. "Hey there my dude. I got enough stamps to get five free dogs. Load 'em up. Chili. Onions. Cheese. Your job is to try and kill me with those things." That poor cashier. He just stares at the young Chinese woman, then to the others.

".. and.. for you two?"

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde follows into the shop, wearing a warm jacket against the cold winter evening outside, and gloves which she pulls off once inside the shop. The smells of the place hit Kitty like a wall. A great big delicious wall of culinary Americana. "Oh. Oh. Oh," she says after she gets inside the doorway. "It's not fish and chips. Or cucumber sandwiches. Or haggis." Kitty pauses. "Actually haggis is not bad. Just, don't think about what it is."

The brunette makes her way over to look at the menu. "When's Anna-Marie getting here? Should we wait to order?" Kitty hears how many hot dogs Jubilee is getting. "Well, you'll still be eating, but I should wait to order?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue wasn't too far behind. Her fancy green car (that some rich lady gave her for saving her from thugs in the city) pulls up outside and she spends a second inside finishing a few things before she steps out and is the last of the three to enter the restaurant. She needed to get away. She'd recently... given her dog away to a local family, it had been weighing heavily on her.

Wearing a wool knit beanie on her head, black in hue, her charcoal colored navy peacoat, a sweater and some jeans with leather boots on her feet, she strides inside and spots the other two. She walks toward them, taking a second to push some of her white hair out of her face. "Heya." She says, flashing a smile.

Rogue grins at Jubilee's ordering, having caught the last bit of it. "Whatever you're havin'... I think." And then she regards Kitty. "Long time no see, Sugah." She says to the Prydeful one. "Hows stuff?"

Jubilee has posed:
Sliding her chained wallet out of her back pocket, Jubilee fishes out a number of bills to pay for the three of them. "Marie! Hey girl." She says happily to her friend that slipped in behind. "Go ahead and order away, Kitty. You need to reinsert yourself back into the finest American cuisine." She snags a trio of plastic cups for the soda machine, handing one each to them.

"I'll snag a table!" Humming, she heads over to fill up her cup with some cherry coke, then slides down into a table as her feet drum away beneath it eagerly.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde's face lights up as she sees Rogue come in. "AM!" Kitty says, her voice tinged with delight. She goes over to give Rogue a quick hug if it is welcome, taking care to avoid skin-to-skin contact. "Been far too long. I've been good," Kitty tells Rogue. "Oxford is challenging, but worth it. Rewarding." She smiles and motions Rogue over to place orders. "I'll have one of the kosher cheese dogs, with mustard, extra cheese and onions," she orders.

Kitty moves aside to make way for Rogue then, joining Jubilee at the soda machine. "Thanks," Kitty says of Jubilee having treated. She'll fill up a cup with Dr Pepper and then join Jubilation at the table.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue accepts the hug from Kitty and she grins lightly. "I'm envious of ya, thats for sure. Gettin' t'go t'school in a foreign country is pretty slick..." She lightly clears her throat them after the hug and starts to pull her gloves off and put them into her jacket pockets. "I just dropped outta NYU and transfered back to Xavier's, now that they got college courses. I got sick'a New York."

After the others had placed their orders she steps up to the counter, gives a glance and a grin over to Jubilee before she looks back, now that its her turn. "Good day, shopkeep." She says to the person behind the counter, just to be a little goofy/fun. "Uh... I'll just take one'a each'a what them all ordered." She refers to Jubes and Kitty. "I trust in their choices."

With that done she walks over to get her cup and go get some sweet tea from the machine for it.

Jubilee has posed:
Grinning back, Jubilee calls out, "You say that now, Marie, but these dogs are belly busters!" Propping her chin up in the palms of her hand, she leans over to take a sip from her soda from the curly straw sticking out of it.

"Whatcha been up to today?" She asks her friend as she bounces her foot on the ground beneath the table.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde tells Rogue, "Sorry it didn't work out in New York. That is a city that is probably an acquired taste, especially for anyone who didn't grow up there." Kitty settles into a seat, tearing the paper off a straw for her soda. She soon takes a couple of sips of the carbonated beverage, sighing.

"Are you teaching anything at the school as well, or focusing on your studies?" Kitty asks. She motions to Jubilation and says, "I decided to take a semester off. Stick around. Going to try my hand helping Jubilation with the guidance counseling."

Rogue has posed:
After filling up her drink, Rogue heads over to where the other two are. She strips off her navy peacoat and drapes it over the back of a chair, then sorts out her shirt a bit around her waist before she sits down with them. "New York is just... everyone's got a political opinion, on... mutants... on everything... and they just HAVE t'share it with ya, I thought it was cool at first. Then progressively decided it was less than cool." She flashes a light grin, leans forward with her forearms crossed on the edge of the table, she sips from her straw on the sweet tea and then nods once. "I'm just doin' classes, helpin' any teacher who needs my help and helpin' kids in the study hall. I like that part best. Another year or so and I should be good t'get my degree. Hopin' to teach French, if we can make it a viable class at the place... Thats up to Jean'n... whomever else, however they decide that stuff." Marie grabs for some napkins to preapre for the messy foods.

Jubilee has posed:
"Still think it's hilarious people are hung up on mutants but they're cool with The Hulk walking about knocking buildings down when he farts too loud." Jubilee says as she takes another noisy suck from her straw. "She gets to be bad cop." She drawls out in a joking manner to Rogue, winking. "We'll totally counsel the heck out of those kids. Make 'em feel warm and fuzzy and special and loved. I told a kid the other day that Logan's favorite drink is strawberry milk and it's a good way to brown nose him at shop." She grins.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde gives a soft chuckle at the comment about the Hulk. "I don't know that people are a big fan of his, either, are they?" Kitty asks. The comment Logan's favorite drink brings another soft laugh and Kitty covers her face. "Why am I getting the feeling I'm going to spend most of my time counseling those that Jubilee is playing with?" she asks, giving the Asian woman a smile.

"I think having French added to the curriculum would be a great idea. Maybe you could also add whatever that is that Remy thinks he speaks?" Kitty says, flashing Rogue a soft grin.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue laughs softly when Kitty brings up Remy's accent. "I don't think they teach speech impediments. But I'll look into it." She shows a big grin off then, teasing the Cajun who's not present currently to defend himself.

After a light exhale she shakes her head lightly. "The Hulk did it t'himself, his... condition. Where mutants 'take people's kids from them'. Thats the big difference. Or at least how I've heard it explained. He definitely has fans and definitey has enemies though."

Rogue's right hand sweeps up to remove her cap from atop her head which makes her mane of brown and white hair a bit more messy than it already was, but she tries to corale it with a sweep of her hand here and there.

"You're gonna get those kids stabbed in Logan's presence." She says with another grin toward Jubilee.

Jubilee has posed:
"Naaah. I"m pretty sure Logan isn't allowed to stab one more kid this year. Jean kinda sets quotas for the dude and I heard he stabbed Rockslide twice. Not that I can't blame 'em. Santos drives me freaking crazy sometimes." Jubilee says as she takes another long slurp off her straw, then claps her hands once the trays of food arrives.

"But, for real though, just saying, you can make a case for anyone. Superman is an illegal alien, Hulk is a walking mountain of debt to the city, Ghost Rider I mean is literally a Halloween costume on fire and he sends you to hell. Not sure why green scaled ten year old girl who likes Sponge Bob rerurns is the greater threat." She says as she plucks up the first hot dog and makes a showing of it by holding it over her head and staring at it. "Bleesed be this dog."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde takes up her own hotdog as it arrives. "Yeah. People don't make a lot of sense sometimes," Kitty says with a little sigh. "I really feel for people like Hank. I mean, we can go walk through a mall at least and fit in with everyone else. Not that we should have to, but we can. For some... it's constant. I really don't know how I would have held up under that," Kitty muses quietly.

She takes a bite of her hot dog. Leaning back in her chair, Kitty lets out a happy sigh. "Ok, this isn't better than sex. But it might be better than bad sex," she says. Then her eyes dart side to side. "Not that I'd know anything about either. Going by hearsay."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue nods lightly to what Jubilee is saying. "Collatoral damage is something I was warned about a lot when I was with the Avengers. They knew what I was capable of and they tried t'make sure I'd rope it in during events in and around the city, let alone any other cities we went to. But thats a lot harder with the Hulk, I imagine. I never really got t'know him while I was with them. He was always off... away."

When the food arrives, Rogue sits up and leans back in her chair to let the stuff get sorted out. She has her gloves off so her dangerous bare hands can deal with her own dinner and she just laughs at what Kitty says for her review of the meal. "I don't know nothin' about any'a that." She says back to her with a sidelong grin before she tries some of one of them herself. She closes her eyes and savors it, so apparently she likes it too!

Jubilee has posed:
Cramming in a large bite into her mouth, Jubilee chews quickly, then swallows. "Yeah, well, I'm a big oh' virgin here, so I can only compare this to other kinds of wieners." She says with a smirk towards Kitty, brows lifting upwards. "And these are the best. Hands down. The best." She wipes the chili from her mouth, then dives in for a second bite.

"Mmm-mm." She sighs out loudly, leaning back and closing her eyes. "Then again, I guess it'd help if I wasn't built like a piece of plywood and hopped up on Pepsi all the time either."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde takes another bite of the hot dog. She has half as many hot dogs to eat as Rogue, and 1/5 of Jubilee, so she is going to take her time and savor it fully. Kitty ends up with mustard in the corner of her mouth, licking it and then finally turning to a napkin. "Jubi, you have the awesome Asian woman thing going on," Kitty counters towards her.

Kitty glances over at Rogue, looking thoughtful for a moment. "So... um, Rogue? Avengers and all? What is Captain America really like?" she asks.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is a very careful eater, she's careful in everything she does when she doesn't have gloves on in fact... its part of being traumatized by people touching your skin and resulting in them basically being dead for doing it. So she's locked into her food and listening to the other two. Jubilee makes her grin again and Kitty's response to Jubilee makes her laugh while eating, which she has to set the food down and reach for a napkin so she doesn't choke on it.

"Blunt, but true, Kitty." She says a few seconds later after clearing her palette. "Asian girls are like the numbe'ah one male fetish in the world, I think." Still holding her grin she looks over to Kitty at the Cap part, and just holds the grin at her for several seconds. "He's a dream boat. I mean, as nerdy as it is t'describe someone like that, like its the nineteen fifties or some shit... but its true. He gave me my entry interview when I joined up... It was like... I don't know, sublime. Thor's probably more attractive though, but Thor is waaaay more trouble. Steve is like that perfect man t'take home to mom and pop... if ya got a mom and pop."

Jubilee has posed:
There's a loud snort from Jubilee. "Yeah, but .. uh .. that's like gross. I don't wanna be seen as a fetish for thirsty sweaty neck beards you know. Sides, Bobby sorta asked me out the other day but I swatted that away since he was kinda just making out with and dumping Lorna in the same day. I'm not gonna do my girl like that. But, that's as much action as I've ever had."

"If I had my choice between the two, I'd throw myself at dream boat Captain America. He's the kinda guy that holds the door open for you and pulls out the chair. He's like old school hot. Thor is like drunk college boy hot. You know? Kinda guy that you'd hook up with, but you'd be embarrassed to tell anyone you did, but at the same time you know the whole campus will know about it in five seconds and you'd be another notch." The fire cracker seems pretty specific here. She watches way too many YA comedies.

Shadowcat has posed:
At the mention that Kitty was blunt, Kitty laughs and motions to Jubilee. "She told me I have to be bad cop counselor. I'm just practicing." She gives a warm smile over to her two friends.

The smile grows even warmer as Kitty just realizes how good it is to be back home with them again. "Emails and tweets just... aren't the same to being here with you two," she says, revealing her thoughts.

"I think... they do seem so different. I admit, I kind of want someone who will hold me and take care of me. Not that I need taking care of, mind you," Kitty says. And there's even a little bit of a frown. "I mean, why can't guys understand that you want it, but you don't need it?" That makes sense. Right?

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is in a relationship, though its been a rocky one with its ups and downs over the course of the past two years that she's been at and around Xavier's School. Gambit had been at the school when she'd first arrived three and he'd pursued her there-in and until she reciprocated it after she got the needed therapy to quiet the many painfully loud voices that had been plaguing her mind when she'd first arrived, all the voices of those whom she'd absorbed since running away from her Mississippi home when she was fourteen.

So though she's with someone currently, she doesn't really comment on it much, unless pressed to do so.

"Ya'll are both hot as stars, there ain't no way ya can't find the right person if ya go out and search for them. That much I am damn sure of. But, yeah, its pretty dang tough t'find the 'right' one. It might be nigh-on impossible. Least in the way that Hollywood tries t'make us think things should work." Rogue snorts lightly then, and dabs at her lips with a napkin. "Those monsters should be stopped. Poisoining the minds'a people for decades on how 'love should work'. Buncha bullshit, all of it." Only twenty years old and she's got a bitter streak in her.

Jubilee has posed:
"Ha. I don't know about that, Marie." Jubilee says in regards to stars. Her shoulders lift, taking another bite of the hot dog. She lets out a mutter of agreement in regards to magazines. "Mmfs! Yeah! Agree!" She swallows it down quickly.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde contemplates her hot dog. Or seems to, though she's probably just thinking. She takes another bite, chewing it thoughtfully and swallowing before replying. "I really haven't been looking lately. Focused on school," she says. "It's probably good, right, not having any distractions like that?" Kitty says, in the tone of someone looking for validation of something they aren't sure of themselves.

"So, um, if Captain America doesn't have a date for Valentine's Day though? I mean... he does so much for the rest of us. It would be the least I could do. Just to make sure he's not sitting at home. Watching Seinfeld reruns," Kitty says, trying to use her best humanitarian voice.

The trio are sitting together at a table, eating hot dogs, and with beverages. Rogue's gloves are off. The literal ones, not the figurative. Kitty has a warm coat over her chair behind her, and is wearing a sweatshirt with a British flag on it.

Rogue has posed:
Another light smile is shown to Jubilee and Rogue pushes her tray forward after one and a half of the hotdogs was consumed. "Thats it. I'm tappin' out." She says then, taking up her tea and sitting back in her chair. Her phone buzzes in her peacoat's pocket on the back of her chair, but she ignores it.

After sipping her drink her eyes look over to Kitty and she releases a light laugh. "I think he's seein' that fashion designer, Van Dyne. I seen them on the news recently while browsin' the web. I didn't spend that much time with Cap when I was with the Avengers. We went on one mission t'gether, and had a few chats. I spent way more time with Stark. Who is... just as amazin'ly eccentric as you'd think he is."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
A blur circles the joint and stops at the window, revealing kaydin. "Yo!" He calls out waiting for someone to get him. "I would like a couple of your biggest burgers. I am super hungry, running across the countryside does that." He says sounding out of breath before pulling out money to pay. The hoodie under his denim vest is an xavier's school for the gifted hoodies, the big X on the hood of the hoodie. When the burgers come he smiles and blurs to a table and begins to dig in, eating almost as fast as he can run.

Jubilee has posed:
"I mean, obviously a dream boat like him isn't gonna be single for long. Lucky duck, that Janet." Jubilee laughs as she is plowing through her third hot dog like a champ. "And yeah, guys are distractions, Kitty. It's why I don't got one. I'd rather be a distraction than be distracted, ya'know? Way more fun that way, less heartache and drama. Sides, who am I gonna date? Someone at the mansion?" She says with a snort. "The way we trade partners there, you'd think we'd have way more hurt feelings. I'm not about to be someone's seconds or thirds."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde grins over to Rogue. "Ah. Well, it was worth a shot," Kitty says jokingly. "Shoot, Valentine's Day is just a couple of days away now that I think about it. You got anything for Remy?" she asks. Kitty gives Jubilee a little nod of agreement. "I didn't come back to... ah, go looking for people," she says. She bites down on her lips a moment and then takes a bite of her hotdog.

Kitty glances up as she sees the blur moving outside the window. Kitty raises a hand to waves towards Kaydin if they can see each other where he is. Maybe he'll recognize her. The young woman in the kitchen with the pancake on her head and the purple dragon in her lap. Or if not, he might recognize the others at the table at least as he comes inside and sits down.

Rogue has posed:
When Kaydin sits down with his food and starts scarfing it. Rogue wads up a napkin and sets it down on the table, then flicks it over at him.

Her eyes then go back to Jubilee who gets a sly grin. "I ain't swappin' around, or whatever. That'd be weird. Besides, who even rushes t'be near me anyhow? Girl that can't be touched less ya suffer death as a fate? Not many guys are interested in wastin' their time on that."

At Kitty she glides her gaze over to and she shows a little smile. "Nothin' really. I don't make plans like that. I'm more about livin' in the moment. My birthday was on the twenty fourth'a last month. So we already did a thing at his place in the Boat house. He gave me a real nice dress, made me look like Jessica Rabbit in the damn thing." She snickers a little. "And a ridiculous necklace. Very pretty, lord knows where or who he swiped it from."

She shrugs her shoulders inside of her green sweater. "We'll see. I prefer just meetin' up, and decidin' what t'do on the fly. I find that t'be the true nature'a real romance."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin gets hit with a napkin and turns to see the girl waving to him. He brings his burgers over to them and smiles. "Hello ladies." He says with a smile as he watches them. "So whats new?" He asks as he scarfs into a burger and listens to the things going on around him. "I know this place in china, has the best chinese food, but I swear the people there cheat me out of more money then I have." He says calmly.

Jubilee has posed:
As she listens to them talk, Jubilee glances down at her phone curiously. With a wrinkle of her nose, she slips it out of her pocket and excuses herself quietly as she starts to talk. ".. Boog--..err... I mean... what did Jason do?" She asks softly. ".. Stuck himself to the ceiling.. " Sigh. ".. Yes. I'll... head over and.. talk to him.." She waves her hand to the two girls, pointing at the phone as she goes, mouthing 'sorry'.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde seems to appreciate Rogue's sentiments about the upcoming holiday. "That's nice. I hope you two have a real nice time this year, too," Kitty tells Rogue with a soft smile. She reaches over to gently give Rogue's arm a squeeze where it's covered by her clothing.

Kitty looks to Kaydinas he joins them. "Hello, we didn't get to meet earlier. I'm Kitty," she tells him, giving the young man a little wave of greeting. "Rachel suggested you might be willing to help me turn a prank back around on Bobby. Would you be willing to help me take some tinfoil and fold it into a few hundred, or thousand, origami cranes with which to pester his life?"

Kitty waves goodbye to Jubilee, seeing that she's dealing with the phone call.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue watches Jubes rise up and she offers her a wave and a nod. "Fix things, Jubilation!" She encourages her/teases her a bit, good naturedly of course.

Once she'd left she looks back to Kitty and the forearm squeeze which is rewarded with a soft smile from the southern belle. "One can hope. He's been holed up in that Boat House way too much lately. I wouldn't mind seein' him get outta there, go do something off-campus would be ideal. But he's obsessed with this project he's workin' on. Which I'm not being invited t'join." She holds a sly grin to that but her eyes drift back to Kaydin.

"Can you even speakin Chinese, Speedo?" She asks him then, now with her food finished she pulls her gloves out of her coat pockets and starts to slide them back onto her hands.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin shakes his head. "Thats what google translate is for." Kaydin says as he smiles at rogue. He then turns to Kitty and nods. "Yea I can do that, if you can teach me how to make origami...I dont know how exactly." He says as he begins eating his second burger and he smiles at them. "So Kitty, your the girl with a pet dragon. Thats so cool." He says cheerfully/

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde tells Rogue, "Yes, we talked about his project a little bit. Sort of fits me pretty well I suppose. I hope he get a good reception for it." She smiles to the other woman, then picks up her soda, sipping it as she looks back over to Kaydin.

"I'll definitely show you how. It'll take me months to do it myself. So I would definitely appreciate it so much," Kitty tells Kaydin with a grateful smile. "Yes, Lockheed. You haven't had a chance to meet him yet? I can introduce you when we do the cranes if you like. He's super sweet."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue smirks at Kaydin. "If you say so." She replies to him before she starts to pick her coat up off of the back of the chair. She starts sliding it on then, left arm then right. "I hope he does too." Rogue says back to Kitty. "So long as he doesn't get people in danger they don't needt'a be in, I can't imagine he wouldn't. But... he hasn't told me much about it, yet. I'll get it outta him eventually."

With her coat back on she uses her gloved hands to pull her hair out from inside the collar and let it drape back down behind her shoulders, then she picks her wool knit hat up to cap it back atop her head, framing her white bangs down against either sides of her face.

"I'm gonna go run a few errands. I'll let you guys plan your hijinx." She stands up and gives Kitty's shoulder a squeeze. "Its good t'see ya back, I hope to hang out with ya more, Sugh." She says in that sassy southern way of hers. To Kaydin she just sticks her tongue out at and starts for the door to the restaurant.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir slips in, in her usual mostly baggy emo get-up with a black shoulder bag and Rogue-style gloves. She looks around, smiles, and waves lightly at her friends, making her way that way. Rogue seems to be preparing to leave, and gets a raised hand for a fist-bump.

"Heya, what's going on? Super secret business I should go somewhere else for or anything?" She glances in her bag a moment, reminding herself what she has with her, before grabbing a menu for a quick glance over. "that looks good."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"If she wasnt deadly to touch I would so noogie her." KAydin says to Kitty about rogue before turning his attention back to Kitty. "I havent met him but I seen him in pictures around the mansion. How did you get your own dragon?" He asks curiously as he watches the woman. He then smiles. "I still learning about my abilities. I actually discovered if I vibrate enough, I can phase through solid objects." He says as he watches the woman. When Erika comes he smiles. "Come sit with us, we are talking about her dragon.

Shadowcat has posed:
"See you AM. Definitely we need more time to catch up," Kitty tells Rogue before she departs. Kitty has a warm smile as she looks away from her old friend, and back to the younger students who have joined her. "Just hot dogs and catching up," Kitty assures Erika.

Kitty looks back to Kaydin. "Well, this alien race called The Brood captured us. And Lockheed, he's an alien, he helped rescue me, and we freed the rest of his team. It was really something special that he did. He sort of had to leave his people behind. Even leave his fiance behind, to save us. And he and I just kind of bonded and he stays with me most of the time now."

Souvenir has posed:
"Is it really 'Her' dragon? I mean, I don't think cats would agree about belonging to people, and Lockheed looks kind of like a big fantasy art kitty that way. And cats aren't great at plans. Lockheed sounds like somebody I'd want to have a good chat with." Erika Kristasdottir acquires a hot dog and wanders over to the table, sitting.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde tells Erika, "Well, he's a friend is what he is. I mean, he's not an animal. He's just quiet. His race are probably more advanced than we are. They build their own spacecraft, better than a shuttle by far." Kitty smiles to Erika, not seeming to mind what she said at all though. "I should get back to school. Still fighting the jet lag a little bit," she says. "Stop by and see me though. I still want to have that talk, Erika. And Kaydin, anytime you want, I'll show you to fold those. Thank you so much for helping me with it." She'll get up then and head out.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin waves to Kitty and then nods to Erika. "True. We got a couple cats back home." He says as he eats his second monster burger. "So What brings you out here? I was on my way back to the school when I got hit by the munchies." He says with a smile.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir gives a thumbs-up to Kitty, then ums, "I was practicing some stuff, and I got bored." Just a little bit rushed. "And you always have the munchies. What else have you been doing, anyways?" She takes a bite of hot dog, careful not to spill anything, listening.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"Well Sam may have a job for me to make some murals. He wants me to make murals of the x-men. I will need to change the murals every week or so, So always working on some new art. Sam thinks by doing this, I will be less likely to graffiti buildings in the city."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods, "Well, that's cool. You make cool art. I'd like to see what you come up with." Munch munch.

"I'm just doing this and that. Nothing I can really talk about yet, though. Don't know what any of this is going to end up doing."

She hmms. "If you see anybody that's looking for clues on that guy that got in a firefight in Harlem, I have some of his brass. I don't know who I would even ask, is all."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"Any idea who this guy is?" Kaydin asks as he watches the woman. He eats more of his burger a little more slowly as he listens to the teen. "So you see memories in objects...does this mean if someone stabbed someone with a knife you would know who did it?"

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir hmmms. "Not exactly, but I would have clues. Like, the time Rage got shot in the head, I knew it was from a lefty without even tapping the thing. I get sort of a preview. I know the guy is really really good at shooting, really cold, had some sort of PTSD thing. I can get more if I tap it. If I tap it really hard, I could probably get lots more, but I'm not doing that without an investigator on hand. And maybe handcuffs."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin nods as he watches the girl. "I see." Kaydin says as he finishes his burger and begins to work on his fries now. "So are you going to join the X-men?" He asks curiously.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir hmmms, "I don't know how much I want to discuss that in a restaurant, but anyway, I'm like, fifteen. I have time to think about that first."

She looks at the ceiling in thought. "Maybe. It's that whole 'see something, say something' thing. Bad stuff happens and I want to fix it."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
Kaydin shrugs. "I just want to help people. Do something with my ability beyond just doing creature comforts." Kaydin says as he watches the girl. He smiles. "I know I would have your back. Just ask and I am there for ya."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir smiles. "That's so sweet. I guess first we need to find stuff to do. Contacts, looking into stuff. I dunno what sort of things you hear about."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"I hear about the basic stuff. Everything in the Daily bugle." KAydin says as he eats his fries and he smiles at her. "Anytime I hear about something, want me to tell you?" He asks curiously.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods, "Sure. I get updates; if I hear about, like, ninjas or supergunfights or something like that, I try to get down there to see if I can find any souvenirs. But I have to take the bus. It takes me a while."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"It's okay." Kaydin says calmly as he finishes his fries and he looks to the girl. "So whats on the agenda today?" He asks curiously, studying her. "Anything you want to tell me?" He asks curiously.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir hmms. After a bit of consideration, she smiles brightly, offers "Yep!" and takes a bite of food in silence without any sign of elaboration.

After a while, she looks back at you. "What about you?"

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
"Mostly been trying to figure out my powers." Kaydin says calmly. "I discovered if I vibrate just right, I can phase through things." KAydin says as he begins vibrating his hand making it blur almost out, and he pushes his hand through the table and he smiles at her.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods, "Way cool." She frowns a bit. "Totally awesome. You get to ask Katsw for advice now too then, I guess."
