Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has called Kid and asked him to meet him at club Evolution, but the time he suggested is about an hour or two before the club actualy opens.

Kid has posed:
Kid unsurpringly wasn't a talker over the phone. He more or less just hung up and answered 'This better be good'. He didn't like clubs. Ever felt the emotions of a 20+ uninhibited adults let alone teens? Not fun. But regardless he does actually go to meet Samuel at the appointed time. As usual he had his hood up, looking more like just a very large (and intimidating) man when folks don't look close. He could be mistaken for a bouncer easily.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over to the man and waves. Right now the place is pretty much empty and Kid is let inside with Sam sitting at the bar waiting for the other man. Sam is sipping some soda seeming replaxed, as folks are setting up for the evening.

Kid has posed:
Kid was a bit surprised to be let in early, and as if by instinct, he had an illusion up. He now appeared a a teen, an obviously mutant one, but no one would mistake him for a gorilla none the less. He takes a seat in front of Samuel and signs "What you want to see me about?", his watch speaking for him. He seemed to already be looking for escape routes judging by the way his eyes dart about.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to the man and even with the image Sam recognizes the voice and says "Hey Jua, wanted to see how you were doing and also maybe offer you a job."

Kid has posed:
"Doing pretty well. Met some old...uh...aquiatiences you can say" he signs. "And its malcolm." that part seemed signed quietly, seems it was a disguise for himself. But he does seem curiouse "And a job?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Ah was thinking of you being one of the bouncers here, and be able to be yourself and hopefully comfortable here.

Kid has posed:
Malcolm blinks a moment. He bares his teeth initially at ther thought, before giving pause considering it. He seemed to have a pensive...look. "Comfortable is doubtful. But may not be so bad..." of course judging by the look in his eye, he may have other reasons "But what...are you like the owner or something?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to the man and says "Manager, my friend owns the place now, and Ah am hoping to get this place popping with some of the Mutant and non Mutant heroes, get it as a place where people can come and relaxe, but will also be a big of a hero watching spot to I gues.

Kid has posed:
Malcolm considers this a long moment. "Well, can give it a shot...there probobably a few things you and yer friend ought ta know. But may as well ask...got any questions? heard humans do somethin called 'interviews'" he signs. Which suggest he has never had a real job so to speak.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well lets start witht eh who what do you think I should know, seems there is something on your mind."

Kid has posed:
Kid signs "...I am not good with feelings. Infact I make those way WAY worse. As make a bar fight spill out onto the streets worse." he starts with "And that not an exgeration. It kind of how I was caught, kept a riot going after exposer to fear gas!" he chuckles a bit at the memory "Granted, uh...well I may have a mentor now who might be able to teach me to put up 'shields' but yea. Figured that probably one of the things you should be aware of"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises and says "You aint been taught how to do shields with your telepathy?" He asks seeming surprised

Kid has posed:
Malcolm signs "...grodd had that exact same look" he chuckles "But no. No one ever taught me how to use my telepathy, anything I have, I developed on me own more or less. Well guess some practice with pa real long ago...but that mostly so I wasn't alone, more than to actually teach me since he ain't no telepath himself. Anyways...I feel everyone. You, the workers, those drunkards fighting across the street, the kids playing in the park, the suicidal woman talking to her psychatrist over the phone...its...hard to know what I am feeling." except maybe anger.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Ah might be able to teach ya some tricks, but Ah know a few folks who can help you as well. I might be able to even get you a steady teacher for it if your interested."

Kid has posed:
"Well, like I said, may be getting some help. But an additional teacher wouldn't hurt...pretty sure my own would be busy." he admits. He rubs the back of his head. He than signs "Anyways the other bit is well, I do have a criminal record. Not quite sure if its official.." a pause as he seems confused "Point of the matter is I have been" and sometimes still does "in what folks call criminal activities before" as if he didn't really consider the things he did criminal.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and raises a brow a bit looking at the other man and says "What did you do if I may ask?" He hmms and says "And are you planning on doing it more?" The mention of Grodd earlier does have him a bit concerned.

Kid has posed:
Kid leans back and signs "Robbery, grand theft, weapons trafficking, hijacking, assulting a police officer and resisting arrest on more than one account, general assult...there was ALOT of those, drinking while underage, carrying illegal firearms, and..." he gives pause as he considers it "...thankfully no murder" he laughs. But than rubs the back of his head before signing "Yea...I know this looks bad. Like REALLY bad. It been...a bumpy road going from A to B and now to C. Only reason I ain't in jail is due to unusual and extingusting circumstances....plus some help."

He lets Samuel take that all in. He signs "As for planning...well, no. Things been changing...I been learning. It...was alot of world to take in. Sure as hell wasn't prepared for it, thats for sure." a pause "There is one...umm...special exception. But mind if i uh..." he points to his head and than Samuel...seems this part was VERY private.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods in concent to the other man as he sits there chatting with him letting him in.

Kid has posed:
Malcolm puts his hands togeather and twiddles his thumbs. But none the less he enters Samuel mind...and as usual Kid felt aggressive and predatory. o O ("Well firstly...I kind of went from a lab to yea know the world seeming about to end with Darkseid and all that. So yea...had to learn alot of things the hard way") just to perhaps put himself into context, after all he never was taught about laws and all that.
    o O ("But anywyas. I...ummm...technicaly can't stop doing 'assults'. And...hear me out, and don't jump to conclusions. But well...I am a umm...psychic vampire. I kind of have to...well feed on people. And people arn't exactly volounteering if you get my drift. No one dies mind you, and I tend to target these days thugs and stuff. but uh...yea, assults definintly still on the table") he closes his eyes as if afraid to feel, let alone see the reaction.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and nods his head a bit to this in thought. "Might be able to help with that I am unsure, but I will look into tit and see if I can help.

Kid has posed:
Malcolm seems somewhat relieved o O ("On the bright side, I can basicly knock out any drunkards that try to make trouble")

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "I might be able to help you get into a school that might be able to help you also. (Emma's school) For help as well"

Kid has posed:
Cue head bang on table and a groan. He takes a breath and sits up and signs "....guess attenting a school...wouldn't be so bad along side what I do now." he seemed to almost dread the idea...but he was willing to give it a try. He than signs "Any questions than?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and says "Questions not for sure, but if you keep to trying to do the good guy thing and helping folks Ah am willing to help ya as much as Ah can.

Kid has posed:
Malcolm signs "...I ain't trying to do a good guy thing....I am just trying to survive" seeming to hesitate at thinking himself a good guy as it where

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "You were helping folks from a burning building when ya did not have to, sounds like a good guy"

Kid has posed:
"Sounds like just helping other folks survive." he signs back. "Things are better in numbers." Kid was certainly reaching

Samuel Guthrie smirks and just shakes hsi head a bit at the other guy.,

Kid has posed:
Kid nods and signs "Well if there nothing else, than I best be on my way"

Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "I will let ya know aboutt he school, but yea I could use ya here, might need to see how ya shields hold u before putting ya on prime times

Kid has posed:
Kid signs "Going ta have to learn shields first. But yea, prime times probably not the best times for now. But otherwise I can work"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Sounds like a plan." He offers the man a hand shake"

Kid has posed:
Kid gives Samuel a firm handshake. And than with a grunt he is off.
