Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
We are long past the point where Negasonic put up with boys hogging the TV to play fighting games. At this point several pointed threats of violence is enough to clear the TV so movies can be put on Netflix.

Whatever movie that is she left up to up to Rachel to pick from the wide variety available. Sure she added commentary but she was deep in her phone leaning against Rachel only half watching the TV.

There are twitter dragons to slay and someone.... god damnit someone is wrong on the internet this evening.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir roams in, grabbing a can of soda, popping it open and sticking a straw in it. She's wearing, somewhat uncharacteristically, a bulky maroon hoodie and dark grey sweats, and a shopping bag. She slurps up some of the soda, checking out who is around, and casually glances under furniture and such, as usual. She doesn't greet anybody, waving quietly to anyone who looks her way.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Is laying on Ellie's lap right now half watching.. she grabs one of Ellie's hand with tk to get head rubs.. she's feeling cat like she doesn't know why or care all she wants is petting right now, lying curled up on the couch.

Samuel Guthrie comes walking up the hall. He walks into the room, hair a bit wind blown, and looking a bit warn out. He looks over to the couch. He probably only see NTW at first. (Figure back of the couch facing the door). He walks over to the bar nodding to Erika, as he squats down to look for something decent to drink.

Wolfsbane has posed:
It's into the next day after The Encounter, and while Wolfsbane went straight to the first X-Man she could find to share the news, it hasn't spread around just yet. That's about to change. For most of the day she remained alone in her room, keeping to herself, but a need for something to eat and someone to talk to led to her coming downstairs. After finding nobody in the kitchen, a true rarity, she grabbed a quick bite before her nose led her to the rec room, her ears confirming it was occupied. When she opened the door and looked inside, she looked...haunted. Silent, too.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
NTW feels her hand pulled from her phone and put on Rachel's head. She starts petting. "I wish I could say I can't believe they made a sequel to to the first movie, but Hollywood are full of greedy vampiric squids." and despite just having one hand to work at twittering, she seems to be still going full speed. Social media warrior never rests.

Ellie won't stop typing but she will nod hello to Snoops and Kentucky. Her back is still to Rahne and her haunted look.

Erika Kristasdottir waggles her gloved fingers at Sam. "Long trip?" She opens the fridge and moves out of the way so he can raid it. She glances over and nods at Negasonic and.. furry girl she doesn't know. Hmm. Not Andrea trying something new, she guesses. "Hey."

Rachel Grey She smiles getting petted and almost purrs when she senses something.. first Sam then somebody else.. She opens her eye's and frowns her mind reaching out to Rahne << You okay? >> though she also sends to Sam << Good I hope you snapped em in half >>.

Samuel Guthrie stands up with a glass of juice, and says "Just got in from home." He tells them. He looks over to Rahne, and say "Whats wrong Rahne?" the young man putting his own worries aside for now.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"Ahh, happy birthday, Sam," Wolfsbane says first, but her tone is a troubled one, her demeanor spooked, like she's seen a ghost. Close enough, to be honest. "I've been better," she murmurs more for Sam and Rachel, but Ellie and Erika get brief glances as well. "Before I say anything, I just want tae be sure. Dani's okay, right? Has she been around? I thought I saw Brightwind th' other day but I wasnae paying close attention."

Well this sounds fairly ominous to Ellie. She sets her phone down and grabs the remote to pause the movie. Then picks her phone back up. She looks back to Rahne. "I've only been back like a week... I don't think I've seen Dani around?" .. .. okay so no nickname. Ellie is afraid any of them would sound inadvertently racist and she is the opposite with her rampaging for justice and anti-patriarchy.

Blank stare. "Who?" She looks at Sam cluelessly. "Skills? I'm not recognizing the name, but there's a lot of people here."

She stretches her shoulders a bit and frowns. "Sorry, I got nothing. That's good, right? And, um... On that topic? Hi, I'm Erika. I don't think we've met?"

Rachel Grey Frowns lots going on so she sits up and looks towards wolfbane her eye's down in a frown .. she squeezes Ellie's leg to tell her something is wrong.. She's worried for sam but a scared wolfsbane has her attention.

Samuel Guthrie shakes his head, and says "Aint sen her in a while, but Brightwing has not seemed freaked out, and Ah think she said if anything ever happened to her. He would head back to Asgard." He does not add in not sure how that would happen with the fall of Asgard. "Whats up, whats got ya fur ruffled?" He asks since she is actually furry right now.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I'm Rahne, but I go by Wolfsbane as well," the wolfen mutant tells Erika with a nod, fiddling with her hands down near the separation of her top and her leggings. "I know she's no' around because I canna sense her, but I think if something truly bad happened tae her I'd know," she says, still sounding troubled, bothered, before she just comes out with it.

"I've only told a couple other people so far, but..last night I saw Hela. Somehow she took me tae her..her realm an' had one o' her Valkyries...I dunno, judge me somehow." Funny Sam should have just mentioned Asgard. "Then she sent me back an' never explained whit it was all about, but she mentioned Dani."

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Negasonic blinks as the talk goes all Asgardian, Valkyries, and Hela. She actually doesn't know who Hela is but the other two sound pretty nordic mythic and Asgardians do exist. "Wait." blink "Someone kidnapped you, judged you, and sent you back?" she nudges Rachel. Because maybe Rachel should well Ellie doesn't know. Do something maybe. "Are you ok Rahne?"

Erika Kristasdottir nods. Slowly. "Name's Souvenir if we're up to no good." She considers and bites her lip in thought. "Hela, Valkyries, Asgard. Right."

She mutters something irritably in Icelandic, then looks over at Sam expectantly, since he seems like he is a bit more in the loop on things like that, and, well, he's kind of in charge of weirdness.

Rachel Grey Frowns she doesn't know a lot about it she learned some but not alot since in the future they abandoned the world and left it. So she's frowning though right now she's reaching out to the minds around the world for info.

Samuel Guthrie hmms and says "Asgard has fallen from what Ah understand." He hmms and says "Ah have asked rogue to ask Thor to come over, but may want to try to speed that up, did they do anythign that hurt you?" He will move around the bar, offering Rahne his oj since he has not drunk any yet.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane handwaves the drink away, shaking her head. "I'm fine, but I'm verra confused." She steps just inside the room, not paying any attention to what's on the television right now, just keeping her hands nervously to herself. I was just walking along outside when some kind o' portal opened up and sucked me in, then th' next thing I knew I was on th' steps o' her palace an' she had someone next tae her in th' armor o' a Valkyrie an' Fenris was behind them." Yes, she knows who Fenris is. "She asked th' Valkyrie tae see if I was worthy or no' as a friend o' Dani's an' th' Valkyrie said a few nice things but then they spoke some more an' Hela just sent me back. She's up tae something, I just know it." All along, her words are a bit rushed, her expression worried. "Thor a' least has tae know, aye."

Movie is still very much paused. Ellie leans against Rachel while she works and watches Rahne now. "Who is Hela?" she finally admits ignorance asking. "Wait Fenris like the giant wolf from the nordic myths.. jesus zombie fucking christ." okay Ellie is definitely more awake now. "What a bitch." is the next utterance.

Rachel Grey Blinks and looks back " Thor is real so are the rest of them, hela Daughter of Loki queen of Hel the land of the dead where all go to be judged and processed unless you die a good death then the valkyry bring you to Valhalla basically Nordic heaven. " Psi powers yep or Instant catchup.

Erika Kristasdottir offhanded to Ellie, "Nordic goddess of the cold, yucky afterlife. Death sphere. Yeah, does anybody have Thor on speed dial? I sure don't." She slurps some soda.

"Yeah, so, I am so far behind the curve on this it's not even funny. I'm guessing somebody has some foggy splinters of a plan that we can start working from? Because it sounds like some of you have seen at least a little of this stuff before."

Rachel Grey Frowns cause what she's getting from the minds that know is different than that historian. So she just keeps her mouth shut something is going on and sometimes it's better to listen than to speak.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Ellie will sink down after her outburst and frown at her phone. Damn Rachel is quick with the whole catching up thing. She luckily didn't wake up with a headache this morning ans classes went quite well. That said she still sees math when she closes her eyes today. No regrets!

Ellie starts typing on her phone, she is paying attention to the room but other then her calling Hela a bitch she has little to add for the moment as this plays out so, sort of listens, while going St. George on an Incel on Twitter.

Samuel Guthrie looks over and since Rahne did not want it sips his drink. He will move to have a seat, and says "Gather round, it is story time." He will look to them and says "The original New Mutants, were pulled to Asgard along with Storm. We got spread out amongst the nine relms. Ah ended up with the Dwarves, Rahne ended in Nifleim and met her Wolf Prince. Dani was wondering through some fields, and found BrightWing, the pegasus in the stables, entrapped. She saved him from a tar pit and some hunters, and He ended up chooseing her as his rider, which in turn made her a Valkyry. Magma got turned to a fae, not quite like Pixie, but thinking about it would have helped if she had been there." we each had a bit of an adventure, Loki was trying to use Storm to take over Thor's place. The X-men ended up getting drawn in as well, and together we stopped Loki, and were able to come home but without the gifts we were given in Asguard, or atleast not the magic versions. My Magic sword and armor became normal steel. Dani though was special cause Brightwing had chosen her, she was turned into a valkyry. That was our first trip there. We did not meet Hel till our second trip.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane opens her mouth at the language from Ellie, but she doesn't have the stomach to chide her about it right now. All she says is, "We've been tae Asgard twice an'.." Then Sam talks about the first trip there and she's undoubtedly blushing behind the fur when he brings the Wolf Prince up. At least Rachel could detect that there are some strong thoughts surrounding that one. She murmurs, "I'd no' believe all tha' if it didna happen just as he said. If I didna know any better, I'd think Hela is trying tae reinforce her followers."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Frowns clearly something coming or happened and they are doing the war drums thing. though she moves towards Wolfsbane and wraps an arm around her to comfort her.

Erika Kristasdottir nods. Okay. She wasn't sure if she should be more worried that that made sense. Although admittedly, her first thought was annoyance that somebody split the party. She chews on this information for a moment. Tactically, this isn't any different from getting plopped into Dark Sun, just learn the local rules, sort out the abilities, and the tactics start appearing.

"Okay. So, Niflheim. What's the terrain, and are there any souvenirs with area knowledge of the place?" She hmmms, "Reinforce how? What's her followers like, what would they be doing, how would she be boosting them?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Ok, right now, not even sure we can get to any of the other nine relms to be honest. Ah was seeking to find out of the dwarves were ok, was why Ah was wanting to talk to Thor. Well Valkyry are the asgardian angels basicly. They find those who died valiantly in battle, and take them to Valhala, those who don't go to Hel, Hel's relm. Well, Hela took control of the Valkyry, with some fire magic in an attempt to kill Odin. Dani was controlled as well, and we all ended up back in Asgard trying to stop her."

Wolfsbane has posed:
"This is..no' a place ye just drive up tae an' go inside," Wolfsbane says, shaking her head. "Ye'd be a fool tae think ye can go intae Hela's realm an' have any chance o' beating her there. We'd no' even really be capable o' doing tha' in other places!" she finishes with an exclamation, nodding once to Rachel's effort to comfort. "But I think Hela's having tha' Valkyrie wi' her set tae perform some task. I'm no' sure right noo. Thor might have a better idea."

Erika Kristasdottir reaches down into her boot and pulls out a notepad and a pen, making rapidfire notes, occasionally flipping to a new page or flipping back to add something. "And now Asgard is in.. Sweden, isn't it? Kind of screws things up."

She clicks the pen a couple times, thinking. Click click click click. Then flips to a new page and starts writing again, pacing a little bit back and forth. "Oh, hey, Rachel? Have a couple notes with tweaks I need, when you have a minute. Softer soles, zipper positions, stuff like that. So anyways. Valkyries. What's the specs on Valkyries? Assuming they're going to randomly jump us in the street for god only knows why. Better prepared if they don't, y'know."

Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "She was not to happy with us when we stopped her, dang near killed me, but we won the day, but Dani had to stay behind for a while and heal up took her the longest to recover.

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane begins to slip her way free. "Tha's all I really have tae say right noo. I want tae go off an' think some more. Inside, this time." But, now they know why the wolfen mutant is a bit out of sorts at the moment. "Oh, an' happy birthday, Sam. I'll give ye yuir present later on."

Rachel Grey Hugs Wolfsbane for a moment whispers something to her and hugs her close " Go okay were here if you need us " . She says softly as she watches.

Erika Kristasdottir looks at Sam. "What. Happy birthday, dude. I didn't know." To Rahne, "Are you going to be okay? Is there anything I can do?" She sighs, feeling kind of useless again. She looks at Sam again, hoping for some sort of direction or something.

Samuel Guthrie nods and reaches over to Ruffle Rahne's hair, and will even lean in giving her a hug "Thanks firetop, you need me you know where I am." He looks over to Erika, and says "Yea, 21 years old today." He informs her, and looks to Rachel. and thinks to her .oO She is a strong one, she may not know it sometimes, but she is Oo.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I'll be fine, thank ye. Whit she's up tae may not even have anything tae do with us, for all I know." She accepts the comfort and support, nodding to each one before she goes, but go she does. She might go digging around for some of the sketches she's done of that Wolf Prince and daydream a bit. It's impossible for him not to be on her mind right now.

Rachel Grey Frowns but she sighs and walks back to slowly hug sam "Happy age day " She says softly before she moves off clearly to her birthdays don't mean the same thing.

Erika Kristasdottir sighs a bit. Awkward. She's not much for hugs these days - she likes hugs, but things like collars keep spoiling it. And she's wearing some armor under this. (I solemnly swear I am up to no good.)

"O-okay. I'm guessing you're going to go do some stuff then? People usually do. Or.. I don't know." She seems suddenly a bit scattered, mind in several places at once, trying to gnaw on new information, but with no objective.

Samuel Guthrie will move to put a hand on Rachel's shoulder, and says "Ok, Ah know she is going to be ok are you?" He will ask her. This remind you of sometihgn we should know about?"

Rachel Grey Shakes her head " I know some of what's going on just not everything this time line is diffrent " She says softly" It's not mine so Id unno she didn't talk alot about what's going on now.. we had other things on our mind "

Samuel Guthrie says, "Well, we have some ways of working on stopping from getting soft. Did you guys still have the Danger room when you were growing up?"

Rachel Grey Blinks " The what? " She cocks her head clearly has no idea what he's talking about but she did say the house was blown up when she was a kid.

Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Ok, you want to train, so you don't go soft? We got forcefields, robotics, and things that can let youu fight things that look like most anything."

Souvenir has posed:
"Mythical place in the basement that people keep mentioning and never actually show me. I'm not sure what anybody has in mind for it with me."

Erika Kristasdottir shrugs some. "Maybe because I doubt it can make any souvies, so I can't scavenge out of the scenario. I don't think anybody has tested that or anything."

Samuel Guthrie looks to the two and says "Ok, come with me." He will squat a moment streatching his legs, and moves to lead the ladies.
