Jessica Jones has posed:
It's been a while since Jewel set out to help save the world from the Black Sleep, and shockingly, the endeavor was a success. But dealing with the trauma of the entire affair, has brought Jess to focus more on her drinking, and less on everything else. One of the things that certainly wasn't on her mind, is returning the 'Scalpel of Strange' back to Wong. Hell, she never once thought about setting foot in the Sanctum again.

At the moment, the door to Alias Investigations was actually in full working order, a rarity. Jessica was sitting in her chair, legs propped up on her desk, while drinking a bottle of Knob Creek. No glasses needed when she drinks alone, it's a boon.

The Scalpel, meanwhile, is set against the wall of her office, behind her desk, like it was some collector's sword from this fantasy show or other.

Doctor Strange has posed:
The door suddenly opens with a tall shadow darkening Jesses doorway. Not unusual for this place, but the shape of the shadow is. It's a thin shadow with a tall red cloak surrounding the wearer's cheek, the light from behind the shadow lights up his black hair and outlines the cloak before he steps in and a deep voice commands.

"Jessica "Jewel" Jones." Stephen says as he crosses his arms before his chest. "I think it is time someone thanks you for your recent help."

Jessica Jones has posed:
The moment the door opens on its own, and the shadow darkens her doorway, Jessica flips over with her chair already propped a bit, collapsing on the floor with the 'Scalpel' set behind her falling on top of her soon after, the bottle unfortunately doesn't make it and shatters on the floor before starting to soak up into Jessica's clothing. She's a bit stunned by everything happening so fast, she remains lying in the building pool of shattered glass and whiskey, taking a few moments to register.

The first words out of her mouth are "oowww."

Doctor Strange has posed:
A hand slowly lifts out of the shadow and is extended towards Jessica, but it's not empty. Jess, should be able to see the outline of glass beneath the fist. A peace offering for the detective. "Ow? Something tells me it's only your pride that's hurt." The sorcerer says with a clunk of the new bottle of whiskey being set on the edge of her desk.

Jessica Jones has posed:
"Maybe..." Jessica groans, starting to shift, slowly sitting up and wiping bits of glass from herself. But when she looks up, her expression brightens, "I didn't expect that...makes it all worth it, thanks," Jessica puts on a weak little smile, yeah, her pride was hurt.

Slowly getting back on her feet, she peeks at the gift she recieves, checking if she won herself some top shelf booze, before reaching for the 'Scalpel', swinging it a bit to get the whiskey off of it, before extending it towards Strange, "erm...this little thing was a huge help, sorry I didn't stop by to return it myself...felt awkward walking around town with a sword. Erm...not-a-sword, I mean, Wong told me it's a Scalpel."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I call it a scalpel, but yeah, it's obviously a sword, however I wouldn't use it to kill, so scalpel is a better name for me." The wizard explains, and he smirks to Jess. "Are you really checking to see if I brought you cheap whiskey?" Stephen asks with a frown and a click of his tongue at Jessica as if he's offended she would even ask. It doesn't have a label, but the color of the drink is perfect.

Stephen takes the blade and examines it for a moment before he simply flicks his wrist and the blade is wisked away into a pocket dimension and is safely away. "You did good work with it, and I know you didn't want to be revealed, your secret is safe with me."

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica nods at the explanation, then looks a bit split on whether to admit what she's doing or not, before finally settling on, "just curious, haven't seen unlabelled ones before...it is whiskey, right? I mean, not some kind of magic potion that will do weird stuff? Gotta be sure, your name is Doctor Strange and all...and to be honest, you delivered in spades. I got all the Strange in this whole Black Sleep affair..."

"I can't tell you how much I appreciate it...it's, well, a very long, shitty story," she admits, before moving to the kitchen to get some paper towels, "sorry about this, just got a small mess to clear," she grumbles while going after the shattered bits of glass and the whiskey pool on her floor. At least she didn't strip and toss her clothes in the wash with Strange standing there.

"So...thanks for giving me a chance to be a hero for once, it was, a very bizzare feeling..." Jessica notes with a bit of a sigh.
