Cast of Characters: Black Canary, Batwoman

Black Canary has posed:
Midnight in Gotham City. And a new vigilate is on the town. After foiling a jewelry store robbery and invoking some kind of supersonic attack that blew the rear axle of the truck, Gotham's finest are turning in their bounty as a woman with long blonde hair wearing black leather is riding an antique Harley around the streets. She finally pulls up to a stop in an alley as she immediately starts climbing a fire escape, wanting some roof access to take a look at the city she's now calling home (when she's not needed in Starling for whatever reason that is).

Batwoman has posed:
One's introduction to any of the Bats is bound to be... Intense. Masters of stealth, even with supernatural senses it is nigh-impossible to detect her approach. The Canary has arrived to survey the city, but she is about to get a more than minor surprise. When the blonde first arrived on the roof, there was nobody present. The delay only took a moment or two- but some section of the roof left Canary's vision for said spare moment. When it comes back into Canary's vision, there stands the tall and imposing figure of Batwoman. Her cape is draped around her shoulders, obscuring most of her form as it hangs off of her upper body. All that's visible proper is her head, hair, and the lower half of her face.

"You've made quite the splash in Gotham."

Black Canary has posed:
Black Canary does wonder how Batwoman does manage to be so stealthy with that fiery-red hair. "I have," she states, not at all scared. "I'm honored to finally meet you, Batwoman. You share Batman's flair of making a simple sentence sound... deep." She sighs softly. "Is this a 'good job, you're keeping my city safe' talk or a 'get out of my city, metahuman freak' talk? I'm kinda tired of the second one."

Batwoman has posed:
Batwoman has many trade secrets. Her response is swift, but it is cutting. Her tone isn't exactly threatening- but it is even further from Friendly, as it were. "This is a 'you're stepping on toes' talk. Gotham is not exactly welcoming. If you can handle the weight, it's likely that the rest of us will be in touch. If I were you, though, I'd set up somewhere else. If you have any questions, now would be the time."

Black Canary has posed:
Black Canary blinks. "Perahps you are not familiar with my credentials," she muses softly. "Maybe I like a challenge." She paces back and forth. "I have special forces training. I've been doing this vigilante thing for a while. I've trained others how to fight." She smiles softly. "Oh - you've heard me sing, right?" She gazes at you. "I can handle myself. I helped clean up Starling City with my partner Green Arrow." She stands there, arms crossed.

Batwoman has posed:
"I wouldn't call Starling City 'clean' in any way that doesn't compliment its sanitary staff. At the same time, I'm not here to say you can't handle yourself. I'm telling you that Gotham is a lot to opt into, and no matter how bad you think it'll be, it's going to be a lot worse. If you have any questions, now's the time." As typically standoffish as anyone in the bat-family is, Batwoman is clearly here to do the closest thing to make friends that any of them ever do- which is to say, she's not particularly friendly at all.

Black Canary has posed:
Black Canary shrugs. "Maybe I want to help out here," she states. "As I said, I need a good challenge. I'm not leaving town. So - there's three choices that I see. We can start working together... we can agree to disagree and we just mind our own business..." She trails off. "I really don't want to have to consider choice three... fighting the heroes of this city." She walks closer to you, extending her hand. "What do you say? Shall we make common cause?"

Batwoman has posed:
Batwoman stands there, the nature of her mask causing her raised brow to go unseen. She is silent for a few moments, before she returns the sentiment. "We can posture all we like, but I'm doing you a favor. Since you don't have any questions, just understand that if you keep doing what you're doing, we will be contacting you." Unlike the usual bat-exit, Kate executes a different sort of disappearing act. This time- if she's allowed to leave- she merely disappears off the side of the building, leaping calmly off of its lip and then, if investigated, Batwoman will be gone- with seemingly no trail, and implausibly, no path to disappear as she had.

Black Canary has posed:
Black Canary just shrugs as she lets Batwoman go. "Hmmmmmmmm." She ponders. "Who would've thought that Batman was the nicer of the two?" she finally asks as she starts to descend the ladder back to her Harley. She starts to drive along, smirking widely, as she emits an eerie-sounding scream in the worst section of town - she was hoping for it to be something that makse criminals shudder as she returns to her home base.
