Bastion has posed:
The two illusionist sisters have been notoriously difficult to find or deal with. They do pop up now and then, and a watch over them can be re-established. One of them, Pamela, was spotted recently in a casino in Vegas, and has had made a rather vast little sum of money. Illusion's useful when you can just change the cards. She collects her winnings and heads back to her room.

Pamela's good-looking, brunette, in a slinky silver dress. She was given a number of free drinks, though she didn't partake much, nor smoke. She's perhaps around thirty in age, with soft gray eyes.

Professor Zoom has posed:
With no sign of the Shadow King establishing contact, and tracking the two being obnoxiously difficult, this latest sighting in Vegas has Eobard tired of the whole endeavor.

Time to tie off the loose ends.

With her current whereabouts found, a man in New York grabs his costume ring from a drawer in a secret chamber... and his costume is released. The yellow suit donned, red lightning trails out of New York, and across the country as Professor Zoom superspeeds over to Vegas in minutes. He's not going to let them get away, so he's going at high speed this time, not caring if he's picked up on any equipment along the way.

About three minutes later, the man in the yellow suit is at the end of the hallway where Pamela is (or was, at least) in. His visage is blurred, and those red, glowing eyes dart around as he takes in the surroundings.

Bastion has posed:
Pamela was about to open her room, but then looks sideways and reacts with a start. She abruptly vanishes entirely from view, and then the hallway is pitched into darkness. Her immeidate response was to cloak herself and hide, then she started to get smarter.

"What do you want?" Pamela's voice asks from the ceiling. Her voice is tight, strong, but she's afraid.

Professor Zoom has posed:
The response is the same monstrous distortion she'll remember from the battle. "Information. You're going to tell me what I want to know, or your sister will wonder where you disappeared to." Professor Zoom doesn't move. Indeed, he doesn't even look at the ceiling. He's slowing down his senses so he can keep track of subtle shifts in the area around him. If she can be seen, he'll spot her.

He lifts an arm, and red lightning starts to flicker over it, presuming Pamela can see it through her own illusion, "This won't get messy if you cooperate." The lightning starts to flare as he channels more of the negative Speed Force through the arm, "I don't need to make it quick like with the girl I killed at the end of the fight months ago." Zoom warns her.

Bastion has posed:
"My sister is dead. You'll need another threat," Pamela says, her voice hardening, a well of loss and loathing giving her courage when Alana is brought up. She drops the darkness, reappearing, a subtle smoulder of illusionary flames around her face and hair.

Professor Zoom has posed:
When the illusion is dropped, Zoom turns his head in her direction... but doesn't speed over to her. Yet. The arm channeling energy is in fact dropped back to his side. "Little wonder I couldn't find her, then." He muses to her, "What happened to her?"

Bastion has posed:
"What do you care? You threatened my life, to make her suffer. What are your questions?" Pamela says, watching him. The illusions are still present, but determining if she's where she appears to be would be another question entirely.

Professor Zoom has posed:
"What was one of my questions." There's a hint of neutrality to his tone there, restraining himself from showing any anger or frustration. "I want to know everything you know about what that thing calling itself the Shadow King was doing and what it wanted, and I want to know what happened to your sister." Zoom continues.

Bastion has posed:
"Come in, I guess." Not like she could really stop him if he chose to get inside anyway. She turns away, heading to her room, and unlocks it, pushing inside. She expects him to make his own way in, possibly even ahead of her. Her room is an explosion of not being able to select outfits, clothes all over the place, but she sits down on the hotel room bed, and starts to undo her high hair updo.

"We were going to have our own personal villas, money, anything and everything we wanted. Sexy servants. He offered us that. And it was coming true. We just had to protect that town while the Shadow King expanded his influence."

Professor Zoom has posed:
He does come into the room... and he even does it by walking. Red lightning still arcs all around his body as he keeps the blurring active, but he's very trackable by a non-Speedster right now. He stops just inside the entryway, even. "So you were an underboss, and so was your sister." Zoom continues to press.

Bastion has posed:
"I think he was collecting /good/ mutants to run places all over the world. A network. How should I know why? Power I guess. It's always about power," Pamela says. Her curls tumble free, she shakes her head to loosen them, and sets the clip aside nearby. Either she's just lovely, or illusion is also in play. She'll protect herself in her own way, subtle.

"I wanted Vegas." She smirks. "I probably wasn't' getting vegas. It was one of his favorites. He liked the debauchery of it. That was his thing. The more slimy the better. But doesn't matter now, does it. I suppose he's dead, or vanished. He didn't have a body. Some kind of ghost, drifting hosts."

Professor Zoom has posed:
"I've heard of those sorts of entities before." Zoom notes, vaguely. Before he speeds up his mental processes... going through a number of different scenarios in his head in a few seconds. Then, he slows down again, and looks back to Pamela. "You were among those controlling me, and I did not appreciate that. I still don't, but killing you now... won't do anything useful."

He starts to walk over to a table, and takes out something from a pouch on his belt and places it down. "A number to call. If he ever comes back into your life, contact me with this number. I want to ruin his life for trying to take mine."

Bastion has posed:
Pamela stares at him. "You realize I'm not a telepath, and can't control you, don't you?" Pamela asks, her tone mocking, but not dishonest. "He fucked with everyone's heads. He liked to pitch us against each other." She looks at the item, but doesn't move off of the bed. "I hope he stays dead."

Professor Zoom has posed:
"Then you won't mind telling one of the fastest men alive where and how to find him, if he ever comes back." Zoom looks back to her, "I'm the Reverse-Flash. I can be anywhere on the planet in under a half hour. Minutes, if I push it." He turns to regard her, "He started a war when he came after me. I plan to finish it."

The item in question is a business card with a phone number of it. It goes to a voice mail box that if investigated, is registered to a fake identity.

Then, he starts to walk over to the entryway. Once there, he turns his head back to regard her over his shoulder, "it sounds like you and she were both victims. Did he kill her?"

Bastion has posed:
"May as well have. Those robots that were at the battle, do you remember? They were fighting the fungus stuff, and us. Sentinels, the world is calling them," Pamela says, frowning. "They hunted us in Mexico after that fight. The government there has tons of them now, all over the place. I know it sounds insane, but they are just killing special people. Like us. I was there when one came out of nowhere and... it just..." Pamela doesn't say it.

"They see through illusions." So the sisters were not able to do anything at all. "That's why I'm here. There aren't any here in the States yet."

Professor Zoom has posed:
"I remember the robots. I was too busy trying to break free from domination to be too concerned about them." Then, Zoom looks southward. "Sounds like I need to run some tests."

With that, he turns back to Pamela, "I don't remember much about Sentinels from my studies... but I do remember they are very scary machines." Zoom confirms for her... before he squints at her, "I'll tell you this; I'm a time traveler from centuries ahead of this era. I studied this time period before I came here. These Sentinels get out of control, fast... and they're coming to the US, very soon." Those red eyes lock onto hers, "You want to go into hiding, right now, if you want to survive."

Bastion has posed:
Pamela shrugs a little bit, but she does have the look of a fighter. She won't just lay there and get vaporized, probably. She does look puzzled with the time traveler comments, and clearly isn't sure what to say back about it.

Professor Zoom has posed:
With no comment back, Zoom just nods slightly. "I wish you luck against them. You'll need it." Red lightning trails behind him as Zoom superspeeds out of the room, heading back to New York at a gentle mach 10.
