Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Rage, X-23

Rage has posed:
Settled in the rec room is Andrea, who is currently reading a book and tucked up into the corner of the couch. She's in a pair of pajama bottoms, a light weight sleep shirt and her hair is pulled into a bun. There's no one around as it's rather late, but she is getting in some last minute cramming for a test in the morning and needed the fresh air.

X-23 has posed:
Laura comes into the rec room. She's made minimal concessions to it being evening, or sleepwear. She's got on a t-shirt and shorts, and barefoot. She sees Andrea, and gives a smile there. "Hello." she offers, as she sees the other girl and comes closer.

Rage has posed:
Looking upwards, Andrea looks relieved. "Hey you." She closes her book and rises upwards. "I was just trying to get a few more chapters in for Mister Summer's Leadership class tomorrow. Soooooo..." She gives a glance about. "Okay, how did you end up with a boyfriend? I did not see that coming."

X-23 has posed:
Laura looks mildly annoyed. "I haven't had a chance to speak to you alone in ages, and that's your first question? And, he asked. He has some similar background to mine. He tries to make me happy."

Rage has posed:
"Yes, it's my first question. It's the obvious first question." Andrea grins at her. "Sooo... he just asked you to be his girl? You definitely seem happier. I'm proud of you, Laura. That's like a huge step in the whole social thing. Evan is a super nice guy too."

X-23 has posed:
Laura nods. "He did. There was talking about kissing. And other things. I had to explain certain things." She looks back to Andrea, and there's a faint smile. "I'm managing. There's progress. It's just slow. But I think I know more now than I did."

Rage has posed:
"Kissing and /other things/, huh?" Andrea grins wryly, then tips her a wink. "Well, take things slow. No need to rush things. So, how are you doing besides the boyfriend thing? You wanna log some DR time with me tomorrow? I need the workout and I wanna crank up the difficulty in there a bit. Pretty much push myself."

X-23 has posed:
"Yes. He asked about sex. He was curious about it. And well, I know more than I need to about it." She's still Miss Honest Answer. "Coming along. I'm learning to be easier with conversation. I can train with you if you like." That's what it is...Laura's using contractions. That's new too.

Rage has posed:
"Oh." Andrea says, trailing off a bit. "Seems like sex is on everyone's minds these days." She shifts her jaw to the side, then nods. "But yes, I'd like to train with you tomorrow. Maybe we can work on some strats together, play off each other's strengths. I just feel like during a fight situation, you and I need to really know each other out there to support the team."

X-23 has posed:
"It's on most men's mind most of the time. That's why I was trained as part of my assassination training. Men don't think clearly where sex is concerned. And they're especially vulnerable then." Again, it's just matter-of-fact. "I'd be happy to. I've finally starting to realize that not everyone had the kind of training I did growing up."

Rage has posed:
Blinking slowly, Andrea rubs the back of her neck. After a few moments, she gives a smile. "Yup, and I'm hoping the more time I spend with you in the DR, the more of those skills I can pick up so that I can be more efficient in combat to support you. I'm sorta the tank and I'm expected to take the brunt of the damage."

X-23 has posed:
Laura grins a little at that. "You are, hmm? I thought I was the quick healer here." She seems to banter a little more easily. "But I can train you. You more than most; we have some similar powers."

Rage has posed:
"I can heal as well, just not like you. But I'm big and bulky in my war form, designed to draw fire and the brunt of the enemy's attention. You are faster than me, trained in stealth. You're better suited for sliding in on the flank or the side and really going all in on damage with the enemy distracted. At least where I'm concerned when we're in combat together." Andrea says as she shrugs her shoulders. "But I will of course differ to your expertise in battle. You're my Miagi."

X-23 has posed:
"You're not wrong. You'll draw more attention. But if you get hurt and taken down, that's counterproductive. I need to get a feel for how fast you can heal, and how much damage you can soak up. It won't be pleasant." Laura warns.

Rage has posed:
"I can't heal like you can though. Like.. maybe a quarter of it. Silver and fire I'm shit out of luck." Andrea flops down on the couch again and picks up her book. "Surface wounds maybe an hour or so. Deeper wounds where I'm gutted? A day or two. So I can't do what you can do in combat. I just manage."

X-23 has posed:
"No one heals like I do. Not even my...dad." Laura adds, and she looks over. "Most people won't be packing silver or fire, though. What's your reaction time? If someone's shooting at you, can you get clear?" She pauses. "Okay. NOW I understand why I need to go to the Danger Room."

Rage has posed:
"I got heightened senses. I can time it pretty well when I'm looking down the sights. But when I'm in my war form, I'm pretty fast, I'm running on instinct. I usually let 'her' drive' when it's going real crazy if you know what I mean? Remember when we fought the Reavers that day in the alley and you and I just... melted them? That was back when I was a newbie. I've put a few hundred hours in the DR now. I'm a lot better now." Andrea explains. "But I'm not where I'd like to be. Not yet."

X-23 has posed:
"Good. We'll go as soon as we can both free up time." Laura agrees. "It'll be nice to get to something where I feel a little more comfortable."

Rage has posed:
"Sounds like a date. I'm free after three tomorrow. I'll see if Rogue or Sam wants to let us in." Andrea grins, tipping a wink at her. "Then after we'll get dinner and catch up on everything, sound good?"

X-23 has posed:
"Sounds good to me." Laura starts away, and with amusement in her voice says "I'm not dating you. That's Mason's job." And with that, she'll start to move off to her room.
