Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Thomas Raith

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan had been looking for a special place to go for a Friday night out. It meant that she ended up at the Blue Lady, maybe it was familiar enough that she didn't think something awful was going to happen. She's not dressed in her usual jeans and long sleeved shirts this evening. She's decided on an unadorned black dress that stops at the knee and a pair of fire engine red high heels. She makes her way to the bar once she's through the door.

Thomas Raith has posed:
The drink that arrives in front of her is brought without fanfare, but is definitely reminicant of her last time at the bar. Orange juice, sloe gin, southern comfort, vodka and Galliano floated on top. a Slow comfortable screw up agienst the wall. Thomas smirks at her a little playfully, tilting his head. "I wasn't sure I'd see you again.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a curious look to the drink that arrives in front of her and then there's a look to Thomas as she hears his voice, "I was wondering if I was going to run into you." she admits with a smile. "I decided not to keep myself cooped up this weekend." she states. "How have you been since I last saw you, Mister Raith?" she asks him as she watches him.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith gives her that wicked grin that he is rather well known for. "And decided instead to grace me with your loveliness. I'm flattered. And please don't call me MR. Raith, you are going to make me feel old. Thomas is fine."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a bit of a blush at the wicked grin that he gives, "I like this place and it seems to have a very warm and welcoming owner." she tells him with a soft smile. "And I'll call you Thomas then." she grins to that. "And there's nothing wrong with being old." she muses to him. "How have you been? Anything exciting going on?" she asks him as she lifts the drink to take a sip.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith fetches a crystal decanter out from under the bar, filling a highball glass with it's contents and shrugging slightly, "It's been an interesting few days. Did you hear about that dragon alien thing that appeared in the park with the little gray men? I was there for that. Not exactly fun. Ruined my favorite pair of jogging shoes.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan listens to him and there's a bit of a chuckle, "You sound like you were having interesting times like I was a few weeks ago." she admits. "I did not hear about it, though I have no doubt that there are enormous amounts of weird things happening." she shakes her head. "Right now my weirdness is vampires. And men that can turn into demons." she murmurs softly as she takes another sip of that drink.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith gives her a sideways look at that, but says with a playful grin. "I mean it could be worse, they could vampire demons. Or Demon vampires." He says in a playful voice, "What sorts of Vampires are after you may I ask?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Are there really demon vampires or vampire demons?" Morrigan asks as she looks to him. Like that might be an actual thing. "Apparently my father is and he is searching for me. I hired a PI to help with it." she admits. "The associate I was supposed to meet here the first time I came in was murdered and a bunch of her files stolen. I just need to figure out what exactly to do." she states quietly. "I sound crazy." she tells him after a moment of silence.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith blinks slightly and then says to Yosa, the one eyed barman.. "Watch the bar." Then turning to her he adds, "Why don't you come up to my office... You...you don't sound as crazy as you might think you do."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to him and there's a bit of a nod, "Sure, I can do that." she tells him as she slips out of her seat. "And I'm sure you hear all kinds of things when you own a bar. I didn't know vampires were actually real until I started doing research and talking to someone. But...it explains a few things." she admits as she moves to follow him.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith leads her up to his private office and turns off the monitors, gesturing towards the sofa. "So first and foremost I should say that I believe you. Fully and completely. I know Vampires are real. In fact some people would consider me one." He says simply.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan follows him up and there's a bit of a curious look when he turns the monitors off. She takes a seat on the sofa, crossing one knee over the other as she watches him. Those bright violet eyes of hers widen for a moment at his admission and then she blinks, "Wait, are you serious?" she asks him. "I've been told there's a lot of different types of them. But Harry didn't go into details." she explains. "I'm half vampire from what we've discovered." she admits quietly.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith smiles a bit and nods "The private detective you mentioned. Harry Dresden?" he nods and looks a bit relieved. "Well the good news is you're at least in good hands there. I am what is commonly known as a White Court. We don't feed on blood. We're born not made. But there are similarities.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a smile to him, "Yes, Harry Dresden. I figured he could deal with weird." she admits. "How do you know him?" she asks. "If that's an alright question." she adds. "He's been good to work with and my lawyer seems to like him." she chuckles. Then she watches him as he explains what he is and there's a nod, "So you were born a vampire? You aren't half like I am?" she asks. "What do you feed on?" she asks him curiously.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith shrugs, but figures in for a penny as it were. "Emotion. Strong negative emotions. There are various White Court Houses. The Skavies feed on Fear. The Malvora feed on despair. House Raith, our preferred flavor is Lust."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan doesn't freak out and honestly she's probably taking this better than most people would. There's a soft nod to his words and the explanations, "I think my father feeds on blood. I've been starting to smell blood...even the tiniest amount." she shakes her head. "So Lust, is that the reason why getting close to you feels...really nice?" she asks him.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith nods slightly, "pleasant little side effect that. I feed on it, but I also generate it." he says mildly amused. "Mostly I don't let the genie too far out of the bottle. I need to feed of course, but I try to leave my partners with as much free will as possible." He smirks, "I could have you rubbing my leg and mewling like a kitten if I wanted.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Now I'm going to wonder if it's very hard to be like that." Morrigan states as she looks to him. "That came out wrong..." she sighs. "It's got to be hard for you. I would think." she states. "Are there any vampires that feed on blood that you know?" she asks him. Then there's a look over him, "I thank you for not doing that. I'm not really good at kitten anyways." she chuckles.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith chuckles a little bit, "You're welcome. "And not many. We don't associate much outside our own courts. I've had a few dealings with a Red Court named MAdam Bianca, and also with a Vampire in Los Angeles named Angel... but the White Court's vampire status is mostly political."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan suddenly realizes something, "You know, I didn't ask the million dollar question of should you be telling me any of this..? Followed by and are you going to have to kill me." she admits to him with a soft smile. "I don't think I'm going to go search anyone out. But I'll need to track down my father. Before he does anything else." she explains. "I probably shouldn't mention you're White Court to anyone either." she nods to this.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith nods a little bit, "It's not as big of a secret as you might think. You go out there and start telling everyone that I'm some sort of sex vampire and what'll happen? Most folks with laugh at you and some will be intrigued. MAke hunting easy for a few days. Hell you can look us up on Wikipedia." he says amused. "But I figured if you were already being stalked you'd appreciate knowing that there were people who believed."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I'm not going to walk out there and start yelling that you're a sex vampire. I'd probably be considered crazy and lose my job on top of that." Morrigan gives a soft laugh to that. "I'm sure hunting for you is not hard." she adds with a red lipped smile. Then she sobers and there's a grateful look, "I do appreciate it. It also means that well...I know someone that's sort of like me and sometimes that's a bit reassuring." she tells him with a soft smile.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith shrugs a bit, "Some nights are harder then others... Ever now and then I get a very attractive woman in here, and just when I think things are going great, she gets a phone call and has to leave." He says in a teasing voice. "And since I try not to suppress free will..."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to him and there's a bit of a blush as she smiles, "I'm honestly not sure how I would have reacted had I stayed the other time." she chuckles to that. "It is good that you try not to suppress free will." she does comment with a smile. "I think you're very handsome, but I'm interested in someone at the moment and I really don't want to mess it up." she sighs.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith looks to the heavens and just closes his eyes and shakes his head. "Why me?" he asks , in the tone of voice of a man who has just been offered a fifty year old Scotch the day he decided to quit drinking.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a bit of a chuckle, "Oh now don't do that. I'm sure there's tons of attractive women out there." she tells him. Then she rises, "And hey, it's very flattering that you think I'm attractive." she tells him. "I hope that this doesn't put a damper on a blossoming friendship for the moment?" she asks him gently.

Thomas Raith has posed:
It's the chuckle that does it. It doesn't make him mad so much as seriously annoys him. And so he does something he rarely does, he looks at her and then...and then desire floods her body. Pure animal lust, The gentleman she's interested in couldn't be further from her interest. It's not a desire to make sweet slow love or have gentle mutually satisfying sex... it's a desire to fuck. Raw and dirty. It's Hungry. It's Primal It's...IT's gone. Almost as fast as it came over her the sensation washes away. Thomas smirks slightly, "Just wanted you to know how little words like 'I'm sort of seeing someone', make /me/ feel." he says teasingly.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Nothing could prepare Morrigan for that feeling. And it was something that sparked a more feral response from the redhead. Thomas might swear that her eyes glow as her eyes snap to his, teeth bared and a hiss coming from them. Her body goes tense and she flexes her fingers just a bit. Then it's all gone. She blinks and then shivers, "I'm sorry." she whispers. "I...should go." she adds as she raises a hand to her mouth and heads for the door.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith stands and is beside her in a moment. "No wait... that was wrong of me... I can't let you leave if you're going to go out there and go all feral.." He says softly in a measured tone. "I'll be good I promise... let me fix you another drink.."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan looks to Thomas and there's a bit of a look over him, "I don't know what that was. But things are starting to surface when I encounter new situations. I feel fine now." she tells him. She takes a deep breath and there's a soft smile, "I promise I'm not going to go feral on anyone." she tells him.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith gives her a look as if trying to decide that fact for himself, but evidently he decides it's okay, giving her a wicked smile and saying "Well okay. I'd say I'm sorry... but I'm not so...

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives him a soft smile, "I don't expect you to be sorry. And its..." she shivers a bit. "Nothing to be sorry about really." she admits quietly. "I'll come back and see you soon though. I promise." she states. "And thank you for talking to me and giving me some reassurances. It made me feel better." she admits.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith nods a bit, though he doesn't move to touch her... after what he did to her that might set her off again. "I look foreward to it... MAke sure to come back too if you're ever feeling less...virtious." He says playfully.
