Date of Scene: 03 March 2019
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Cronenberg, Rage, Cyclops

Cronenberg has posed:
Not more than an hour ago Doogie made an uncharacteristic decision to get into a confrontation. A mutant was being beaten with baseball bats by a pair of individuals with arm bands that indentified them as members of the Friends of Humanity. Not knowing what else to do, he jumped in and managed to fight them off, but in such a way that left them uninjured and able to find backup. Andrea and her body guard appeared on the scene soon after, and helped Doogie carry the strange luminous mutant into the back of her SUV just as the militia members showed back up with backups and guns. They didn't push the issue very far, after Andrea's military trained body guard fought back.

Rage has posed:
Having been taking twists and turns through the city, James, who is Andrea's bodyguard and driver, seems to have lost any potential followers. Andrea at this point is calling Scott on her cell phone.

Ring Ring Ring Ring.

She is seeking permission to bring the mutant back to the mansion for medical treatment.

Cyclops has posed:
Overnight Scott has been in the medbay dealing with his injuries and not really leading anyone or making any desicions, he's been too drugged up and unconscious to really do much of anything other than breath and rest.

The fight did a number on the x-man who barely wakes up enough to answer his phone. Left on the table next to his bed by someone, and that someone isn't here to prevent him from answering. "Mmmmotel 5, what kind of sandwich do you want pressed?" Scott asks, obviously still on some sort of painkiller and maybe mostly asleep.

Rage has posed:
"Mister Summers. It's me, Andrea. I'm in my armored SUV with Doogie. We've been driving in circles for about thirty minutes now. Doogie and another mutant got jumped by the Friends of Humanity and I picked them up. This other mutant is in a bad shape. Beat up with baseball bats. Blood everywhere. Permission to bring um.. them here. I don't know if I can take him to a hospital. He's bleeding green neon stuff."

Andrea glances over to Doogie for a moment, then squints. '.. Mister Summers, are you... are you okay? Wait, did you answer ... asking for a sandwich?"

Cronenberg has posed:
Doogie Decker glances over his shoulder at the backseat where the injured mutant is. The individual is quite strange looking to be sure. At the brightest, it's hard to see any details about the person other than a vague humanoid form under light that is like looking into the sun. But when the light dims, an incredibly gaunt being with translucent white skin can be seen. They are completely hairless, have no eye sockets, no nose, and just a small slit for the mouth. As they continue to drive the light flickers, becoming bright and steady. It reminds Doogie of a light bulb about to burn out. "Oh gosh, that doesn't look good," he notes.

Cyclops has posed:
"No I didn't ask for a sandwich." Scott says, looking down at the phone in his hand and blinking slowly, wondering what's on his face as he reaches up to touch the taped sunglasses on his face before he looks back down at the phone. "Are- are you god?"

Rage has posed:
"Okay, so, Scott is drunk I think." Andrea says with a sigh as she covers the phone. "That or he's really drugged up. He's not making much sense." She sighs, then says into the phone again. "Summers! It's Andrea. I need help. Snap outta it. Permission to come home with this injured mutant. That or is Hank around to talk to?"

Cronenberg has posed:
Doogie Decker is doing his best to keep a lid on his urge to hyperventilate. "S-so what are we going to do then?" he asks. He's already worried that he will get in trouble for assaulting the individuals with bats, going back to the mansion with another person without permission just adds more fuel to the fire as far as he believes.

Cyclops has posed:
The response Andrea gets is a lot of clanking and cluttering sounds, as Scott dropped the phone on his end and it bounces down the crack between the bed and clatters heavily onto the tile floor.

With the call still active, Scott looks over the side of the bed and reaches about four inches before he gives up on the lost cause and Andrea can hear him groan and moan a loud defeated moan. "It's GOOOOOOOOOONE!"

Rage has posed:
'I'm gonna consider that permission given." Andrea hangs up the phone, tapping James on the shoulder. From there, after checking one last time they were not followed, the black SUV motors through town until they come up through the long driveway.

The bodyguard plucks the injured mutant up carefully, along with another staffer that meets them at the door to take them down into the medical lap, where from here we can assume an NPC of sorts is on duty to check the victim in to being healing and stabilizing. Most likely there's a call to Josh Foley for support.

"You should get checked also Doogie. I think your nose is broke." She says to her fellow student, noticing Scott in the medical bed and heading over to him concerned. "Mister Summers?"

Cronenberg has posed:
Doogie Decker looks at Andrea for a second as though she were speaking another language. "My nose?" he reaches up to touch it, sending a shock of pain through his nerves. It's quite obviously broken with how it sits crooked on his face. Just like that his legs give out as the adreneline in his system starts to fade. "Oh gosh, oh gosh. They could have killed me!" he says as his legs give out and he falls on his wide butt on the medbay floor. Mind you the fight went easily in his favor, even with him pulling his punches.

The guest has not stopped flickering, instead settling on a very weak glow that is difficult to see under the bright fluorescent lights.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott slowly turns his head to the arrival of Andrea, having long forgotten the phone he dropped onto the floor. "Heyyy Andrea." Scott says with a kind of wave with a his floppy hand that's in a long cast and then with a frown as he spots the sling and cover on his limb. "Oh maaaan." He complains before looking over at Doogie and the new commer. "Are raves allowed?" Scott asks, again, out of place and very confused.

Rage has posed:
Glancing under the bed, Andrea plucks up the phone, then puts it on the table. Peering down at Scott, she lets out a soft breath. "Oh, man.. you musta got hurt really bad last night to be this doped up." The sound of the thud causes her to look over her shoulder. "Doogie, you're doing really good. You're safe, you saved that guy's life. Don't fall to pieces now. Have Nurse Mary snap your nose back into place and pop an Advil. You'll be okay. Really."

From here, the nurses is taking care of the glowing mutant, checking vitas, dressing a wound and requesting a healer to join them for a more intimate resolution.

"Mister Summers, Doogie saved that guy's life from the Friends of Humanity. He did great."

Cronenberg has posed:
As the doctors treat the glowing mutant, it's not the best news. Multiple broken bones, a concusion, bleeding both normal and internal, and a body ravaged by malnutrition. "Her life," one of the doctors corrects Andrea. Though there are few outward indicators of the individuals sex, she is apparently a woman.

Doogie nods to Andrea and pulls himself up and onto a chair. The nurse tells Doogie that she will reset his nose on the count of three, but after saying "one" she pops it back into place with an audible CRACK. A squeak of pain comes up Doogie's throat, a scream of pain that got caught on the way up. Doogie blushes at being told that he did good, even if he didn't feel that he did good. "I probably should have found a different way other than to run in and push them around," he mentions.

Cyclops has posed:
"Friends are great." Scott says his arm lifting briefly from his bed with what could be called, a 'thumbs up' where his fingers hang limply before it drops back to the bed top and he lulls his head to the side again. Still tired and sore and doped up.

Rage has posed:
"Better you than me there." Andrea says as she pulls up a seat next to Mister Summers, reaching out to take his hand and squeezes it. "Or Laura. We may have killed those guys, or at least put a hurt on them so bad they'd remember it for the rest of their lives. You really did good, Doogie. You held your own, you remained cool, you called me, we saved the day." She tilts her head over to him and grins. "And, I heard that you did pretty good on that mission getting Erika back."

Clicking her tongue a few times in thought, she says, "If you want on my team, the New Mutants, I'll tell Cannonball that you're in. If that's what you want.. if you wanna learn how to be the best that you can be and train within a team atmosphere, just let me know right now and I'll make it happen."

Cronenberg has posed:
Doogie Decker considers this for a moment. He looks down at the blood covered Superman S on his shirt before looking up. "Okay. Yeah. I'll do it," he gives Andrea a nod. He has a long way to go, even though he managed to perform on the mission and intervene with the glowing mutant, he did so with barely contained terror.

The medics working on the guest chatter about their patient. She's apparently resisting healing powers, as it causes a kind of feedback with her own mutant healing powers. So if she manages to make it, it will be through ordinary medicine.
