Location:	Hallway - Xavier's Mansion
Synopsis:	Reactions to Sam surviving his apparent death in a fight against FoH Sentinels
Cast of Characters:	Cannonball, Shadowcat, Isotope, Marvel Girl

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie comes walking out of his room, just having came in and changed shirts. He has another shirt in his hands, it has a hole straight through it and somewhat fresh stain on it, looks like alot of blood.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde would come rushing down the hallway. But that would take too long. Kitty comes running up through the floorboards. Hopefully one is in the way with a cell phone. If they are? Brick.

"Sam!" she exclaims once she's through the floor safely. "How... what... I mean, you..." Kitty stammers. She's still wearing her X-man outfit. Form fitting black and yellow, but no mask. She and the Blackbird and possible Jubilee and Remy went to rendezvous with others to make sure the Sentinel parts were deactivated and safe to bring back, while Samuel could have flown on ahead.

Isotope has posed:
     Brian had a rather low-key day, stretched out in the hallway and reading a book, 'On Mutancy' by one Hank McCoy. "Hey Sa-What the hell happened to you?" That was about the time Kitty came through the floorboards. He stands up, now concerned with all this, but let's others talk first, it seemed important.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will look at the group, and says "Well for what Ah.. Ah think Ah died." He shakes his head a bit and looks down at the shirt "But somehow it didn't stick." He looks at the others and says "And Ah aint sure why."

Shadowcat has posed:
"Died... yes you died. You died saving my life!" Kitty says, hugging the man tightly again. She crushes him. Ok, not really, she's not strong enough to crush him. But he might have trouble breathing until she lets up a little bit.

Lockheed comes flying up the stairs and down the hallway, finally catching up to Kitty. He lands on her shoulders as Kitty says, "That Sentinel put a spear thing through your chest. It was as thick as my arm at least. You weren't breathing, no heartbeat. I put the spear back through it's head and... then you were there in the fight again all of the sudden," she says, touching her hand to his chest atop his shirt, where the wound was.

Isotope has posed:
     The bookmark is placed in the open page, and the young mutant is in disbelief. "But he's not dead." Brian looked stunned, and looked to Sam's chest for wounds and the like. "Are you hurt? Do we need to call someone?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes his head, and will pull up his shirt no wound and he has showered the blood away. It jsut does not make sense, Ah remember seeing it coming and did not have time to blast ya out of the way, so shoulderblocked ya and then alot of pain, then next thing I remember is sitting up, and being wet, with blood.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde looks over to Brian. "Not dead. And he took out a Sentinel like... within minutes later," Kitty says. "Lockheed and I killed the one that got you and then next think I know you were there." She finally lets Sam go. "Even Logan would have been messed up for days," she says from personal experience.

Kitty runs her hands through her hair. "Oh I'm so glad. I just... Sam, you..." she covers her mouth, tears in her eyes, and hugs him tight again.

Isotope has posed:
     "Well...I'm glad you're ok, Sam." Brian offers, keeping a slight distance, only cause it seems they were having a moment on this.

  The black haired teen Just is still trying to understand all of this new life of his. "So, that's why there's a curfew now..."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will hold the shirt out in one hand so the two don't get all bloody. He rubs her back and says "Well your ok, and it seems Ah am ok, so we good. You would have done the same for me." He tells her, and looks over to Brian "Yea, it is dangerous out there obviously.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde wipes at her eyes and finally lets Samuel go again. "It was a mission we were on, rather than something random. But yes, there are dangers out there," Kitty tells Brian. "Though we're trying to deal with them." She gives him an encouraging smile. "Ok... I'm going to go clean up," she says. "You probably should go talk with Hank, Sam? I mean... see if he can understand... what happened."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is standing outside his rom, as Kity seems to just be stepping away from Sam. Sam has one of his shirts held out at arms leanth. It had a fist sized hle through it and lots of blood on it still seeming semi fresh. Brian stands semi near the two as they seem to be talking.

Isotope has posed:
     "Yeah, just 7? Super early. It doesn't bug me, but you're gonna have a ton of kids angry." He offers with a tinge of sharp truth.

  "For real, I'm glad you didn't stay dead, Sam." He offers with a warm smile.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Walks down the hall and frowns she's a bit upset that she got kept back checking on nega , But Now she's walking down the hall and her eyes are wide " what do you mean stay dead?".

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and says "Well not the worst it has been but yea, We were grounded to th ehouse for a while, and told not to use our powers. " He puases and lookg over to Rachel, and starts off "Ah am ok, but something really off happened tonight."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde gives a low nod to Brian. "I imagine it might not go over well. Hopefully as everyone gets a little more back to normal, lets the shock of what happened wear off, things might loosen up a little," Kitty says. "I'm not sure if it would have even helped."

Kitty glances up as she sees Rachel walking down the hall. She looks back to Samuel and holds up her hands. Yep, this one is all his. The guidance counselor waves to him and slips away. "Brian, I've been meaning to stop by and see how you are. Feel free to drop in anytime," she tells him.

Isotope has posed:
     "Oh, umm, right on." He says, waving with his left arm, the last remnant of damage from the gym collapsing, he still had stitches from that, and still bandaged.

  When Rachel makes her way towards the male dorms, he looks each way making sure he was in the right place. "He'd know more than I. But it's a doozy."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Walks over some clear heat around her like the air is crackling with power crossing her arms and lifting an eyebrow . She frowns " I go away for one day and what happened? "

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her, and says "Ok stay calm. We found sentinels tonight, and one got the drop on us. It was shooting a spear at Kitty. Ah didn;t have time to blast her out of the way. Ah shoulder blocked her, but the spear hit me in the chest. " He pauses and says "It seems it killed, me but somehow Ah came back. Ah am ok hon." The shirt he is holding with the hole and lood, she would recognize as one of his.

Isotope has posed:
     Brian opened Dr. McCoy's book again, letting the others catch up. He didn't feel like going back to his room still, but this was just fine, just try to keep moving forward.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Frowns " You know she can phase right .. like at the speed of a thought way faster than you can blast or get her out of the way " She starts to tap her foot " So you did a very stupid move " .

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "I did not have time to even get her name out and she did not see it coming. If I had not done that it would have caught her before she could have phased."

Isotope has posed:
     Brian comments from his book. "I started to get my power back, I think." He comments, turning a page. It was really all he could contribute at the time.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Turns beams a smile to Brain " that's awsome so your getting control? " but she turns back to sam with a scowl " So you threw away your life? " she frowns " Hows that helpful !"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over to Brian, and says "Have you figured out what it is exactly, ah need to scheduel you for a session in the Danger room." He tells the young man, and look to Rachel "Would you have me stood there and let Kitty die, or try to shove her and myself out of the way of the spear?"

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey LIfts an eyebrow " I would have stopped the spear " She says simply " ANd thrown her out of the way at the same time without getting myself in danger " . Yep not winning arms still crossed eyebrows raised air getting uncomfortably hot

Isotope has posed:
     "Nope, not yet. I just made my eyes glow so far. But it happens more and more." Brian's eyes indeed emit a green light, which leaves his eyes like smoke rising from a fire, dissipating soon after. "Like thi" A small clash sound rings from his hand as a green beam of energy shoots from a finger, and the book he was reading now has a finger sized hole in it as it flies across the hallway. "That...hasn't happened before."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Interesting looks like you may have more of a blast type power than an explosion like I first thought. We will see if you can do that on demand tommorow, but might want to keep from shooting holes in things tonight." He offers the guy a smile and looks over to Rachel "Rachel, I love ya, and want to be here with you, but Ah did the only thing Ah could to save her. Ah aint sure why Ah got a second chance maybe Hank or someone can figure it out, but you know what we do is dangerous, and you know if someone is in danger Ah am going to do all Ah can to help them. So, how about we don't fight and we be happy we are both here for you to be pissed at me."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Eyes narrow and she taps her feet before she forms a big flaming fist grabs sam and yanks him forward till he's very close " Don't do that again.. okay " She says looking at him " I'm very mad at you for dying .. I'm very happy your back but lets not try and copy Logan hmm .. Even he says dying over and over chips away at him "

Isotope has posed:
     Brian grabs at his book, now with a hole. "Yeah...I think I'm just going to try not doing that after a week of trying to do that." He wasn't sarcastic, just in slight shock, he had thought he exploded things, but the reality was much different.

  "I'm gonna get to bed, and try again tomorrow when it's not the night time." He comments, before shuffling down the corridor back to his room. "Night you two."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie waves to Brian and says "See you in the morning." He will lean in and kiss Rachel, and after the kiss says "Just cause it happened once does not mean it will happen again, Ah don't plan on dieing if Ah can help it hon. But here is the thing we do not tell my Ma, when we see her, you got that. Ah don't want her worrying more than she has to."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Checks yep she checks if it's really worry about his mom or trying not to get in trouble cause she's still pissed at him for doing that, she'd be devestated if either of them died but not either would be her choice .

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is being honest with her. He does not try to hide things from her. He trys his best ot be up fornt and honest with her.
