Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie comes walking in from the garag where he went out to get dinner. He has a decent sized box with different containers in it, and heads to the counter closeing the door with his foot.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Is here sorta she feel asleep holding a cup of coffee trying to wake up.. her legs pulled up and wrapped in her blanket. It seems she pulled a late night or something but she's out cold still holding the mug

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles and will move a bit quieter as he sets the food down. He smiles over at her, and will move to take her coffee cup gently trying not to wake her but not wanting her to spill coffee on herself

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey the moment you touch the cup is the moment that it's clear that was a mistake big big bad mistake.. Cause Eye's snap open but they are not her normal green instead glwoing fire as Two giant flaming bird-like hands grab you in a crushing grip and Lift you up as she clings to the cup ! Thankfully it's only a moment before she blinks and looks up " Sam? "

Samuel Guthrie will cough for a moment "Um, could ya put me down? Was trying to mov ya coffee cup, so ya did not spill it on yaself hon." He tells her. He does file this away for later learning a bit of a lesson maybe.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Thankfully all he's gonna get is some bruised ribs as she puts him down.. Even then she grips her coffee tight and gives him the eyes like he's gonna try and steal it " Don't touch my coffee " she mummbers taking a sip then sticking out her tongue.. " Ugg cold " .. Of course, she stares at it and it starts to bubble and steam " Better".

Samuel Guthrie looks at her, and says "Just trying to keep you from making a mess, and there is plenty more of it hon." He rubs his sides a moment, and says "I brought some food home, thought ya might want to try a few things.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blinks " I like new food " she says half awake still blinking.. wrapped in a blanket perched on a chair clutching a cup of coffee like it's the only thing keeping her alive and taking sips from it .

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will nod a bit and says "ah thought you would." He walks over to a carboard box on the counter, and says "Ah figured we would start with some chinese.' He tells her walking over to open a pu pu platter, and says "This is a pu pu platter it is a sampeling of different appatizers.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir slips in quietly, practicing her slinking around and making sure not to scrape anything with the doorknob or anything, then blinks at people. She slips in, then closes the door behind her as quietly as possible. Sneak sneak.

She slinks over toward the refrigerator slowly, quiet. She's back to her usual sleep schedule - asleep early, awake in the middle of the night, back to sleep, up early for a workout before class.

Rachel Grey Cockcs her heda " Wait your family is not chinese is it ? " She frowns " How are they " she frowns " wha? " Yep too tired her brain melted.. though she dosn't even look << HI erika >>.

Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "No, my family is not chinese, but there it a chinese place in town. I figured I got dinner and a few things for ya to try in the smaler sizes. Sam has not noticed Erika yet, but he iss fixing to turn to head back to the box on the counter which would put her in view.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir waves quietly at Rachel without looking, then hmmms at the refrigerator, trying to decide how to open it without making noise. She moves behind Sam to see if she can stay out of his line of sight, then looks at the refrigerator. Hmmm, how to open that.. She realizes it's going to turn on the light and fan no matter what, so she gives that up as pointless to try to do quietly.

"Hey, Sam! How are you doing?"

Rachel Grey Nods her head as she sniffs at the food and peers at it then looks back to sam as if to wait for an explination of what she's going to eat..e ven as she forms flaming chopstiks and gets ready to eat , perking up cause food .

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will to his credit only jump a bit and says "Hey there, you want to join us?" He will offer her, as he pulls a couple containers of soup and fried noodles out to bring over as well. "Ok, that one." He motions to one of the things in the container "Is Crab ragoon."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods, "Sure." She looks over the offerings, and goes for the barbecue pork and rice, putting some on a plate and getting some plastic silverware in a single use bag.

Samuel Guthrie says, "Rachel has not goten to try alot of foods, so Ah thougth bring home a few different things occasionally to let her try stuff."

Erika Kristasdottir nods. "That's reasonable. I am so sick of having to be locked up in here." She frowns some.

Samuel Guthrie says, "Well,they are trying to keep fpols safe,e the sentinels aree serious busisness." he sets the fod down andmoves to get spons and chopsticks absantly rubbing the middle of his chest."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blink as she takes a bite and seems to ponder the flavor thinking " This is diffrent than the stuff kaydin brought me... he said diffrent regions of china have diffrent foods is that one of them? "

Erika Kristasdottir nods. "Yeah, it's really creepy thinking there's people building ridiculous tanks because of me."

She shrugs, "Different cooks, too, and they have to make it for the people who come in."

Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "And knowing Kaydin, he got it from China, where Ah got it at a little family resteraunt in town." He grins and says "Also, different type of stuff. Ah did get you something special still in the box.

Rachel Grey Blinks " So the chinese food they make here is diffrent? "

Erika Kristasdottir ehs, "They don't even make pizza the same way across the country, so not really." She munches on some pork.

Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Sometimes different ingredients, some they might not be able t get here. Then the meat you buy at the grocery store, tasted different than an animal you raised yourself, or hunted yourself. Alot of things can make the ingredients taste a little different, then styles of cooking and such

Rachel Grey Frowns " Food is complex " She says looking down " In my time everything comes from one place one factory even the rich have to pay extreme for diffrent food "

Erika Kristasdottir ews. "That's a mess." She gobbles quietly, then goes to the fridge for a can of cheap sparkly water and a straw.

Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Here in america ay least there is most of the time plenty to eat, and try.

Rachel Grey Tries something else and chews " Okay how are these garlic spare ribs... it tastes like syrup wrapped on over cooked meat "

Erika Kristasdottir uhhs, "Well, ribs are really heavily cooked because they're on bones, right? And it's supposed to be carlic sauce, but Americans turn everything into candy. Like the food from Iceland is totally different, America they put sweeteners in sugar to make the sugar sweeter."

Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Try this." He will open one of the soups, and offer it to her. It is a hot andsour soup

Rachel Grey Is drinking her cofffee to get rid of the taste clearly not a fan.. she takes a sip of the soup to see if she likes thtat better .

Rachel Grey GRabs a eggroll as she munches it and peers inside then bites agian " hmm this is pretty good " she says softly " you could stuff it with diffrent foods " she says poking it a little bit as if trying to figure out how it's made.

Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Yea, they do shrimp, and pork, and veggies mainly. And then there are things somewhat close to them made in other places.

Rachel Grey Thinks and lifts it up " I like this I wanna know about these " she puts one to the side in the I wanna learn more.. You notice 3 piles.. the NOpe nope nope pile , the Meh pile and the Yeah that's good .

Samuel Guthrie smiles and if there is something in thenope pile he likes he will reach over to get it, and says "So, when you want to head to meet my mom?"

Samuel Guthrie smiles and gets up, and brings over some beef and broccoli, and a spicey pork dish." He grins at her, and says "So you ever went to the beach?"

Rachel Grey thinks a few times " many times when I was hunting " she says softly while she grabs some of the beef and chews on it yep she likes spicy food it seems.

Samuel Guthrie hmms and says "Well, we will have to go some time to have fun, and see if you like it for fun and playing around. Oh, you heard about James?

Samuel Guthrie loks over and says "James Proudstar, He is the one who kidnapped Erika. Turns out he realizes the mistake he made. He thought he was working on avenging his brothers death.

Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "He is trying to make up for it, and to be honest, Ah don't think ya can hit him much harder than Rahne did verbaly to be honest.

Rachel Grey Frowns and sighs " I wasn't thinking verbal " she says cracking her knuckles " You know she can only touch me and mom right.. maybe me I dunno if mom can make clothes with Tk yet " She sighs " she loves hugs she needs hgus and I am the only person who cna give em "

Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Ah know, Ah wished Ah could have hugged her the other night. Ah don't know if hitting him will help her though. Your mom has oked him to start at the school giving him a second chance.

Rachel Grey Sighs and grumbles " It would make me feel better " She says softly stabbing at some chinese food in mild anger at it glaring at the item like it could offend her

Samuel Guthrie says, "Actually, Ah think eventually you might like him. He went through some bad times that lead him to the wrong decisions, Ah am hoping we can help him find the right path again. Have you been told much about the X-men?"

Rachel Grey Nods her head " stories mostl of the he good old days " she says softly as she chews on it " Like a combat brance of this peaceful resistance "

Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "James; brother was an X-manm who died about the same time Logan, Kurt and the others joined. James blamed the x-men for his death. Then recently His whole tribe was killed. He has not been able to find who did it. He screwed up, he wants to make it up to Erika. Find a way to have his honor back.

Rachel Grey Nods her head and shrugs " honor only gets people killed " She says softly as she looks around saying something uncle eric used to tell her then do the oposite she never understood that.

Samuel Guthrie says, "Ah don't quite agree with that one love. But Ah wanted to fll ya in on James a bit before you came across him at random. Ah know it can be hard, but remmeber your uncle Erik was considered a villian at some points."

Rachel Grey Blinks and frowns " Since when? " She says clearly the first time she's heard about this " Wait your saying he's a villian that's why he's not here? he told me he used to teach "

Samuel Guthrie reaches to her and takes her hand in his "Right now, Ah would not consider him a villian. He is actually trying to help people, but in the past his methods labeled him a villian, and then he came over to trying to the heroic side, and was a teacher here for a while, my teacher to be honest. Now, he is ruleing Genosha, and trying to give a better life for mutants. Some are worried how he will treat humans, but Ah have hope for him. Ah have seen he cares for folks.

Rachel Grey Nods " My Eric was diffrent I guess to him there were two types of people " She says " Humans and monsters.. To him humans were just as worthwhile the others were good as fertilizer "

Samuel Guthrie looks to her, and says "Ah am sure part of it came with time as well, as Ah said he has moved towards the side of hero at times, but at times, he has put mutants over humans.

Rachel Grey Frowns at a moment " really hmmm " she looks down " That's diffrent than what he taught me " She says softly " Very diffrent " . She looks over " People are people mutants or otherwise , but if they try and kill you don't hesitate and take them out cause they won't miss the second time "

Samuel Guthrie nods his head and says "It seems alot is different ah believe he is a good man, but Ah also believe he has at times made mistakes bu he is worthy of a second chance, and Ah am hoping James proves to be worthy also
