Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Gambit, Oracle

Gambit has posed:
Ah'm Remy LEbeau, the Cajun offered extending his hand as the valet brought the yellow Ferrari around and he opened the door for her. Of course since the car is right hand steering it looks like he's putting her in the drivers seat to most. "So which way do we 'ead chere?" he asks, tossing his mask onto the tiny back area that only an idiot would call a "seat".

Oracle has posed:
"Thank you, Mr. LeBeau." Babs says as she slips into the driver seat of the ferrari where she immediately removes her mask and lays it down in her lap along with her hands, "I'm a Gotham girl, Remy, but my dad lives over in the Bowery." Smiling behind a half curtain of her red hair hanging over the side of her face. "This is a beautiful car. Did you have it imported?"

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau grins slightly at the young woman and nods, gesturing for her to punch the address into the onboard GPS while he violates approximately 4 separate traffic violations on the way out of the parking lot. He grins a bit and nods slightly, "COst me close ta eigh' million Euros ta get it ovah 'ere. Everyt'ing about it is pretty much custom." It's obvious he's very proud of the machine adding, "Ah don' normally splurge on t'ings like dis but in dis case Ah gotta admit, it was wort' every penny not ta mention... well Ah probibly shouldn' give de ot'er reason ta a Police Commissioner daughter, she migh' get a bad opinion of me."

Oracle has posed:
To her credit, Babs doesn't look the slightest bit uncomfortable by the disposal nature Remy gives to traffic laws or the speed at which they exit the parking lot. She does lean forward to plug in her fathers address, but then leans back in the bucket seats to watch the road disappear like streams of thought on either side of the entirely too fast vehicle, "We all have our financial pit falls. Mine just happen to be computers.. I've got a custom number at my apartment that would make almost any efficiando weep with delight." As for the last, she smirks and glances side long at him, "Try me."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau says, ":smirks just a bit, "Well now Ah know jus' 'ow yah and Kitty become such good friends, don' Ah?" he asks in a playful tone as he considers. Then he shrugs, "Okay let's put out a 'ypot'etical situation on de table. Let's say dat someone is in a position of shall we say a dubious nature. Call it a specialty import an' export business where in a motivated buyer may need de t'ird party intervention of a less den motivated seller... Now what would someone like dat, who yah would expect ta crave anonymity at all costs, want a car like dis?""

Oracle has posed:
"I honestly don't know why a person like that would want a car like this." Babs says with a tilt of her head, hand running along the leather interior with the tips of her fingers so lightly touching that they barely leave in trace at all. "I have some speculations, of course, but everyone likes to splurg on themselves here and there.. did this person hypothetically buy it to impress a woman?"

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau says, ":head shakes and gives her a wicked grin, "Non, de boy charming enough he could probably do dat in an old Volkswagon Beetle." He says with a grin, "Non dis reason directly related ta 'is occupation as an expert in de unusual an' dubious acquisition of artifacts of 'istorical and intrinsic value.""

Oracle has posed:
"So you're a thief." Babs asks straight forward with a sideways glance at Remy. She was Batgirl for years and trained with one of the best when it comes to keeping a straight face, so it's not even hard for her to keep smiling despite the revelation. "Well... you might want to get something a little less flashy. There's a reason drug dealers drive volts wagons, afterall."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a bit, ""Lets say dat Ah'm offically retired from any business, legitimate or ot'erwise dat yah may be inferring from mah statements," He says with a grin but then nods. "Righ' so a /MAster/ T'ief certainly wouldn' want somet'ing like dis foh a get away car... Cops know it a mile off.. it's a gian' billboard dat say Remy LeBeau is /'ere/. So why would Ah want dat...assuming Ah was a MAster T'ief." He adds almost playfully.

Oracle has posed:
"I keep wanting to retreat back to the idea it's for a girl." Babs says with a smirk of her own, temple propped up against the curve of her knuckles so her attention is shift to the seat next to her where Remy is driving. "But tell me, why would a master thief want a car like this, if you were a master thief, which you're definitely not saying you are."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a little bit and keeps driving towards the destination, "Okay different 'ypothetical. LEts say dat tonight, at de Got'em City museum dare was a 'iest. Some priceless antique was stolen. An' yah dad's friends come ta yah an' say 'Ey Barbara, we know dis Remy LeBeau guy was in de city. Did yah see 'im at dat fancy do yah were at? An' of course bein' a good law abiding person yah woul' say.." He trails off to let her fill in her lines as it were.

Oracle has posed:
Babs raises a brow, but doesn't move her head from looking at Remy or let her smile drop an inch, "I'd say yes, he was driving an imported ferrari with VIN number seven seven zero one zero eight zero alpha two. I'd say, he's close friends with Kitty Pryde, a teacher over there in New York City where he probably knows her from. Baton Rouge, maybe New Orlean, but definitely Cajun accent with distinct handsome features and short brown hair. I'd give them an accurate description of you down to facial scars and mannerisms." Her finger taps against her temple lightly, "Hypothetically speaking, that is."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a bit at that, his eyes showing that he is quite impressed at that detail but adding, "But most importantly, dat Ah was /dare/." He says with a grin. "Dat Ah couldn' 'ave been across town doin' somet'ing larcenous. Add ta dat de alibi's of several ot'er members of de elite...an' de fact dat mah /'ighly/ visible multimillion Euro imported vehicle, VIN numbah seven seven zero one zero eight zero alpha two, was in de 'otel valet parkin' area all night... well it obviously couldn' 'ave been me dat did it. Could it?"

Oracle has posed:
"Arent' you just a master thief... hypothetically." Babs says in a sing song voice to match her whimsical smile, "Must have been quite the score to warrent the purchase of a multi-million dollar imported ferrari for the purposes of an alibi. Certainly not the most expensive one they'd have ever seen, I'm sure, but certainly top six."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau grins a little bit, "WEll dat's de beauty of it, non? It's not 'zactlly like somet'ing like dis only good foh one use, now is it?" he gives her that playful grin and shrugs, "But like Ah said, Ah'm retired. Ah try ta use mah powers foh good now an' all dat.

Oracle has posed:
"A rogue with a heart of gold." Babs teases from grinnig lips, "It's enough to make a girls heart flutter, I'm sure." Her head remains propped up on her knuckles, but her other hand draws small circles upon the designs of her mask. "So tell me, Remy LeBaeu, how do you know Kitty? You a teacher too?"

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau nods slightly, "Ah am." He agrees with a smile. "Ah teach French, an' Ah run de Poker club." He says with a slight grin, "An' Ah don' so much as see it as 'aving a 'eart of gold so much as seeing de light...an' realizing dat it's made by 'Ellfire an' maybe it's time foh dis poo' sinner ta change 'is ways." He offers her a chuckle. "De ladies love bad boys, but bein' bad not always de safest option, non?" He shrugs. "Foh de firs' time in a long time Ah 'ave people Ah c'n t'ink of as family. Ah can' risk dat."

Oracle has posed:
"I can understand the mentality." Babs says honestly, "Though I can't say I share a similar history as a master thief, now retired, I do have a group whom I considered family. Individuals whom I would literally do anything to protect." She offers him a smile and a nod, "Your friend is quickly becoming one of them. She's very smart... I think she and I are going to be fast friends."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau nods slightly at that, grinning slightly, "Dat's good ta know. Kitty is a good person, an' de sort who c'n make friends easily. People jus' seem drawn ta 'er." He considers and adds in a quite serious tone, "Yah migh' wanna warn yah ot'er friend 'owever dat if 'e were ta do anyt'ing ta 'urt 'er or break 'er 'eart, dare are people who will 'appily end 'im foh it."

Oracle has posed:
"Don't worry yourself too much about it... if he hurts her, those people would have to get in line." Babs says with a smile, but that doesn't mean she's not being serious. "This is a big step for him-" She wont use his name, unsure how much Remy knows about Jason, "-So we're all hoping it works out. I'm kind of a glass is half full kind of woman."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau nods slightly, that charming smile coming back to his lips as he offers, "Well Kitty easy ta worry about none de less... Not dat she needs much protectin'." He shrugs slightly, At her optimistic comment he just laughs a bit, "Nevah been a 'glass 'alf anyt'ing' person mahself... Ah've always been of de opinion dat eit'er de glass twice as big as it needs ta be, or else de waiter not doin' his job right."

Oracle has posed:
"This is me." Babs points out the window ahead to a brown stone in Old Gotham, glancing back to Remy, "Well, Mr. LeBeau, retired master thief, I dare say it's been an enlightening evening." She offers her hand over to him, "I hope we get to meet again sometime, huh? Maybe when I'm not all dolled up like a prom date and feeling a little awkward from a huge group of strangers?"

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau gives her a wicked grin, "Well Ms. Gordon, computer expert, daughter of a police commissioner wit' an eidetic memory," He says pulling up to the building, "Ah look foreword ta dat distinct pleasure wit' baited breat'" He takes her hand and brings it to his lips, kissing her knuckles with a grin. "Till den, Au revoir."

Oracle has posed:
"Charmer." Babs teases, winking at Remy as she pushes the door to the ferarri up and climbs out of the low sitting vehicle. "You know your way out of here?" She asks, kneeling down slightly to gaze in the window once she's closed the door, "Sometimes these old buildings play havoc on GPS. Some of the streets haven't been updated in year or more too. Especially in Old Gotham." Either way, she'll give him directions for the quickest way to the highway and bridge. "Be safe, Remy."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau nods slightly and grins, "SAfe is boring, but foh yah chere, Ah'll do mah best." He does sit and wait in the car till she is safely inside her building before driving off again, bringing his traffic violations somewhere into the low twenties before the car is completely out of sight.
