Synopsis:	Samuel, Rachel, Erika, Blink, Negasonic, and X-23 make fried chicken while discussing hero names, image inducers, and various student issues

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is in the kitchen, getting things together to make some fried chicken. He has gatherer the spices and flour working on the dredge.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Sits not to far off he's just got her elbows on the counter and is watching it seems.. though she's also chewing on a straw while making items float around apparently for practice .

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over to Rachel, and says "Now, most people would just mix it with a fork, but Ma always said to sift it with a sifter, and that gets everything together much better, and has the flavor spread through it better.

Blink has posed:
The sound of boots on the hallway can be heard, and Blink steps in. She'd be unfamiliar to Rachel. Not a student or staffer her that the other woman is aware of. Asian, with purple and magenta highlights in her hair. A few purple birth marks around her eyes, and green irises that spell her out as a mutant pretty obviously.

The college-aged young woman sees there are people here. "Is it ok if I get something to drink?" she asks quietly, motioning towards the fridge.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and nods "Sure, just don't mess with the canadian beers, Logan gets upset if his beer is missing." He works on the egg and milk dip for his chicken.

Blink has posed:
Blink gives a grateful smile. She looks over at what Rachel is doing, levitating the objects. "That is... really cool," Clarice says with a soft, shy smile for Rachel. The young Asian woman continues over to the fridge, examining the contents and selecting a bottle of grape juice. She opens it up and takes a sip. "I'm sorry if I didn't introduce myself yesterday," she says softly. "I'm Clarice. People call me Blink," she offers to both Samuel and Rachel.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Looks up distracted and smile " Oh thanks it's practice to help me get control of my new power level " She floats another object " Trying to see how many I can do before I start doing bigger stuff ".

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Sam, or Cannonball in costum, and this is Rachel." He looks over to Rachel, and says "So what name you going to use in costume hon?" He asks her, and grins "Ok, practice, pick up the chicken, dip it in the flower, the wash and then the dredge and gently into the oil." He tells her smiling as he figures a way to avoid club hand.

Blink has posed:
Blink smiles at the pair and then moves away just a little bit. In case the chicken goes flying or the oil goes splashing or anything else. Not that she doubts Rachel so much, but she's had her own issues with her powers that were far worse than that.

"Nice to meet you both," Blink says softly. "I hope you got a chance to enjoy the warm weather," the young woman tells Samuel as she moves to the other side of the kitchen and leans against a counter there, sipping her grape juice.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blinks " Wait what? is she picking her mutant name? " She looks so hopefully brings her hands to her chin and shakes them " eeeee .. that's such a big thing! " She beams " It's a huge moment when you pick your mutant name". She rushes over and grabs Blink's hands " This is so huge! "

Even distracted though she lets the items float back to the ground where they were " She's picking her mutant name sam that's bigger than chicken".

Erika Kristasdottir gently steadies the door and turns the doorknob, then gently pulls it open quietly, releases the doorknob against her finger to quiet it, then closes it behind her, turning the knob and letting it be stopped against her palm before softly letting the door latch move back into place without a sound. She looks around the room and considers people a bit.

She quietly heel toe walks over behind Rachel, who almost certainly already knows she's there anyway, and drapes her into a hug from behind.

"Hey you, what's everybody up to?"

Samuel Guthrie will start working the chicken as Rachel is over to Blink. "Ah think she is goign by Blink, Ah ment what do Ah call you in costume hon, your mom is Phoenix here, do you want to use the same name or a different one while in costume.

Blink has posed:
Blink smiles and grips Rachel's hands back. "Yes, I didn't really pick it actually, everyone just started calling me it, back in Genosha," she says. "But, I've had it for a few years now. And... I like it. I mean it fits. I blink back and forth from one place to another enough, I guess," she says, smiling softly.

Clarice asks Rachel, "So, what would you like your mutant name to be? Do you do things besides move objects in the air?" she asks curiously. She glances up as Erika comes in, giving her a soft smile of greeting.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Smiles softly and leans back into Erika's hug only to look up " Oh crap I forgot that mom shoot". She looks down " Now I'm in trouble I always called myself phonix to honor her. " She rubs the back of her neck " Now I gotta come up with another one". She looks back to blink " I like blink it' s a neat name..but umm powers wise I'm basically the same as my mum jean grey.. " she thinks " Except I think I'm better at detecting mutants and well " She lifts a hand wreathed in fire.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir smiles and half-closes her eyes. Hugs are good. Mmm. Even when she's the one doing the hugging. She doesn't get many, apparently.

"I'm Souvenir, for, I dunno, I think they're pretty obvious reasons. And hey. What's going on today?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie starts the frying of the chicken, and nods his head a bit to this and says "We aint been out in the field together against something, we should figure something out if needed." He looks over to Erika "Nothing planned yet Ah have heard.

Blink has posed:
The purple-haired young woman falls silent as one of the couple's friends comes in and they begin conversing. She sips her juice quietly, not interrupting for the moment. Sam working on the chicken draws her attention, watching the man prepare it. Soon the smell of the fryer is noticeable, beginning to fill the kitchen with that delicious odor. Blink's tongue touches her lips without realizing it as she smells it.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey turns to give Erika a proper hug before she chews her lip "Crap " She clearly freaking out a bit starts to tap on her phone furiously. Looking to sam ' You're sure she's using phoenix? " She says almost hopeful he was mistaken. She flops on the counter and sighs " Crap now I gotta come up with a new name " . She looks to blink " I like you hair " .

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Ellie pokes her head into the kitchen, she was pretty sure Rachel was in here. She keeps texting on her phone though as she does. Also she smells the start of something tasty frying in there so even that alone would bear investigating.

"No worries Firebirb, we can come up with something." and Ellie comes the rest of the way into the kitchen.

Erika Kristasdottir releases Rachel from her hug attack from behind to get caught up in another hug. Swoon. Touch starved R us. "Oh, heya! What's up?" Blissy happy little emo girl being hugged.

Samuel Guthrie keeps an eye on the chicken and says "Ah am pretty sure thats the name she is going by, Ah always call her Ms Grey, or on a rare occasion Jean. Ah aint been in the field with her either." He will wash his hands and get himself some tea, and see if anyone else wants some.

Blink has posed:
Blink asks quietly, "Do you all use assumed names in the field, to protect your real names?" She's still watching how Samuel makes the fried chicken. As Ellie comes into the room, Blink flashes a small smile over to her and gives a little wave of her fingers. Remembering her from the beach. "Hello again," she says softly.

Rachel Grey Moves over to hug Ellie " help ! " She says and fake sobs but she looks back to blink " Ummm I'm not the best person to ask cause my reason will most likely be different than everybody ". Though she peers to see if Sam has taken any chicken out if so she will try and float some away so she can try it without him spotting.

Ellie returns Rachel's hug giving her a tight hug in return and then moving to get a soda out of the fridge. "Well no most people use names or nicknames Pinkypie." she sips her soder cola. "Like... Kentucky." points to Sam, "Snoops." points to Erika, "And Rachel" points to Rachel.

"Mmm-hmm." Erika Kristasdottir smiles some, then looks around the room. Seeing the cooking being dealt with, she reaches a black-gloved hand into a pocket and retrieves a quarter. She starts rolling it from finger to finger, lightly tossing it from one hand to the other, listening.

"Hey, pass me a can of orange soda, will you? It's a little late for tea."

Samuel Guthrie has probably got one pans worth of the chicken done, but he has about 4 or 5 pans worth set up. He gets his tea, and says "In the field normally, around here it is just more friendly names, and such." Ah ussually just call folks by their names to be honest, except Rahne, and Dani, and they are like my sisters.

Blink has posed:
Blink gives a slow nod of her head. "I figured this place is supposed to be secret. I mean, I knew about it, with being around the Princess so much when she'd come back to Genosha. But my understanding was you all are really... keeping things quiet about being mutants and being from here and everything."

Blink looks thoughtful. "I haven't gone anywhere around here. Not to town or anything. I should probably stay away, hmm, so people don't know? Or, sometimes if I wear glasses people aren't sure. But I still get looked at a lot."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Smiles as she hugs Ellie and leans on her a bit as she tries to wrack her brain to figure something out chewing on a nail even. Sam is making Fried Chicken though some of it is floating towards Rachel trying to move stealthily like. On another side Erika is getting soda and Blink is drinking Grape juice.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Negasonic turns and fishes an organge soda out of the fridge once more and then shuts the fridge. She walks it over to Erika instead of throwing it at her, even underhanded. She must actually like Snoops reasonably okay.

"This place is a secret. Very secret. So nicknames or real names." she is keeping an eye on the doors and entrances to make sure none of the various classmates just comes in that are not as much in the know. "I'd probably wear an image inducer if I were you in town PP."

Erika Kristasdottir mmhs. "And right now, I feel like I'm under lockdown with the gigantic robots. It suuucks. Anyways, I haven't really done basically anything worth wearing a costume for. I'm the designated damsel in distress."

She casually tosses the coin back and forth, then starts idly dissapearing and reappearing the quarter with really basic sleight of hand tricks, not really caring who is paying attention, just working on getting the movements down.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will pull he next batch of chicken out to put on the cooling rack, and raises a brow. He will look over for were the missing piece of chicken might be. He has enough siblings he knows most chicken stealing methods but TK is a new one.

Blink has posed:
Blink tilts her head curiously to Ellie. "PP?" she asks, not seeming to understand what that refers to. And not just that part. "What is an... image inducer?" she asks, glancing between the group. "If I need to, I will. I don't wish to cause any problems for the school," she says quickly, not wanting anyone to think she's causing problems here.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Snorts " I Still say that hiding is not the answer ' She grumps a bit " It's not like they don't know " She grumbles but she turns from sam at least through the loud crung and munching while trying to use Ellie as a shield to hide her eating the missing chicken might be a dead giveaway .

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Ellie steps a bit to the right providing a better shield to protect Rachel from being caught. She is a pro at mischief and minor criminal acts really.

"Image inducer will make you look like a human pink haired girl. PP, PinkyPie." Negasonic explains helpfully and sips her soda.

X-23 has posed:
Laura makes her way into the kitchen, lured by the smell of food. She seems surprised to see so many here, though. "Good evening." she tells the assembled students, looking over in the direction of the stove.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir heaves a sigh across the room. "Yeah, but what am I supposed to do about it? I can't fight anything like that. What am I supposed to do, grab it and learn how to tack weld?"

She waves at Laura, smiling. "Hi! How are you doing?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will see the amount of folks here, and will slide the first batch of kitchen and second out for folks "Those are the hotter ones." he will tell them, and then stepsback taing some biscuits out of the oven.

Blink has posed:
Blink is listening to Ellie's explanation. "Really? So I could go out into the cities and no one would look at me strange? Where do you get one of these image inducers?" she asks with obvious interest.

Blink glances over towards the food again, but then she sees Laura coming in. "Hello, Laura," she offers, with a soft smile and a little wave of her fingers. "I guess Lorna cleared it with someone named... Scott I think it was?" she tells the young woman.

X-23 has posed:
Laura looks back to Erika. "It has been a trying day." Indeed, she looks kind of worn out, which is rare for her. There's even red eyes, like maybe there was crying. "May I have some of the food please?" The question is addressed to Sam, since he seems to be the one cooking. She gives a nod to Blink's comment. "I assumed that with this many people about, your visit must have been authorized."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Sighs " I dunno about that old holo disguises but if you can't get one I can take you out.. it's easy for me to make it so nobody notices you " . She grins " My powers are a total cheat " . She winks as she quickly goes for more chicken cuz yummy!

     She thinks " Do you think it's lame if I take my mom's old name then... to sotra keep with it since I can't use phoenix "

     Her head snaps up when she spots Laura then she frowns " Wait hold up! " She lifts a hand " why do you feel like uncle logan? "

There is a snrt of a noise from Ellie and she goes in for a plate and some chicken, just on piece for now really since Sam is cooking for so many at the moment.

"I think Professor McCoy has them, or well Rachel can whip one up I imagine.. but yeah excellent disguises.... hey Laura."

Erika Kristasdottir blinks and looks concerned, coming up to attention.

Okay, who hurt Laura, and where do I hide their body?

"Are you okay? What happened? Is there anything I can do to support you, here?" She points at the chicken on the stove, moves her hand past a pocket to drop her quarter(s?) into it and moves over to Laura protectively.

Samuel Guthrie nods and says "Have as much as you want, Ah got biscuits and am going to start gravy here in a moment Am making enough everyone should be good ma only taught me how to cook for everyone at home, Ah have issues if under half a dozen people." He offers a grin

X-23 has posed:
Rachel's question gets some serious stinkeye from Laura, and she looks back to the redhead with a decidedly uncharitable look. "Logan has no nieces, because he has no siblings. I know this, because I am essentially his daughter."

The short brunette answers Erika's questions in turn. "I am unhurt." Physically. "It has been a trying day." she repeats. "And you may tell me who this person is." She nods in Rachel's direction, with a low growl. Not much gets emotional reactions out of Laura. But it /has/ been a long day. And her family situation is one of her few hot-button issues.

Blink has posed:
Blink's expression grows a little brighter at this news from Rachel. "Thank you... it would be nice to get one of those, just in case. But I'll remember that you can do the same on your own," Clarice tells Rachel softly. The purple-haired young woman considers Rachel for a moment. Red hair. Pretty. A very distinguished face. "The name Phoenix is a nice one for your mother. I think you need a name that has a good ring to it like that. Something with a lot of..." Clarice says, trailing off as she searches for the right word.

"... prestige."

The thought finished, Clarice glances over, noticing Laura's red eyes. As the others start to say something though, she stays quiet as if thinking maybe too much notice of it is something Laura might not like. If the young woman looks her way, she'll see an encouraging look from Clarice instead.

Rachel Grey Blinks and looks to sam " She from another timeline too? " She asks she's not surprised logan has a kid apparently or the growling at her like she's used to that part too. She thinks for a moment " hmmm that's a good name Thanks.. I'll have to think about it .. where I'm from your mutant names pretty important " . Chews some chicken while thinking through her eye's stay on Laura while she waits an answer to who this girl is.

Ellie coughs a bit and holding her plate with a piece of chicken in one hand and the soda in the other she edges closer to Rachel placing herself a bit between her and Laura. "Her mom is Ms. Grey, she is from the future. Her name is Rachel. She doesn't know Laura." and yeah Ellie seems almost protective of Rachel, and well hell she has never given Laura a nickname so maybe she likes Laura well enough too.

Erika Kristasdottir er. Crap. "Laura, this is Rachel, wonky-alt-future daughter of Miss Grey and Mr. Summers from a fucking terrifying, dystopian, post-apocalyptic hellhole where the Sentinels won. Rachel, this is Laura, daughter of Logan via evil mad science dickery by evil people who I'd stab in the face in a heartbeat. Please don't kill each other, I think you will get along really well, and I don't want it to be because you made up after you turned the school into a glowing crater." She opens the soda, dropping a fresh plastic straw in and sipping.

Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "No fighting in the kitchen, and if you take it elsewhere no lasting harm to one another." He will say looking over to both of them, as he gets his stuff to make the gravy starting with frying some breakfast sausage "No one is meaning any harm. In Rachel's future logan was like an uncle to her, and he seems ok with it."

Blink has posed:
Blink's gaze lowers a bit and she drifts back away from the others as the small amounts of animosity flare. While people are focusing on that, Clarice quietly slips back out into the hallway, her grape juice forgotten on the counter.

X-23 has posed:
Laura sighs a little at the revelations. "I see." At least maybe now she's not going to try and stab someone. "Welcome to...this timeline, then." She'll start in on the food, and shakes her head.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Blinks and nods "Thanks " She says softly though she leans on ellie a bit she wants to check she's okay but ackward. So she just munches more crunchy chicken she frowns though thinking about what to do .

Negasonic Teenage Warhead has posed:
Excellent no stabbing and no crazy telekinesis as a result. Ellie considers this a victory as she steps away to get another piece of chicken, she also shoots Erika a smile, for once. Not huge but damn did Ellie just smile. "Thanks for cooking Kentucky.. does everyone from down south cook like this?" and now a compliment. Huh.

Erika Kristasdottir sighs a bit more. "Anyway, if you want to talk to me about anything, just go ahead and knock. I'm dealing with some stuff, myself. Nothing horrible anymore, though, that's good." She smiles back, happy Ellie is good! "I think I might crash out for a bit. I've got some stuff I'll deal with in midnight."

Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit and says"Everyone no, but folkswho are away from home, and want a taste of home learn, that and each of us took turns helping ma in the kitchen at times, part of the chores."

X-23 has posed:
Laura gives a nod back to Erika. "Thank you for your concern, Erika. And your food, Sam." Rachel gets no thanks, she just gets no stabbings. "I likely should sleep as well. I think I am a bit more...touchy...than usual."

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Click... yep total took a picture of the super rare hard to find Ellie smile. Opens her arms and makes come here motions for Erika give her one last hug before she runs off.. Though she looks at Sam " I rather not have food paste to remind me of home thanks.. crunchy chicken is way better " . She dosn't take Laura words to heart they just met after all .

Erika Kristasdottir wanders over. Gives Rachel a hug. Leans. "Yeah. Sleep cozy, Laura. I'll talk to you soon." She wanders toward the door, sleepy. Burning the candle on both ends some, and deep watch is horrible for some things.

Ellie stiffens a little bit at the click noise, she is the expert at Instagram. She looks over at Rachel and narrows her eyes a little bit. She wiggles a drumstick art Rachel. "No posting that to school network... that is for your phone only Rachel."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles and says "Aw, not able to put it in the school's yearbook?" He will ask about the picture but continues cooking pulling out another round of chicken, and is finishing up the gravy as gravy is easy.

Marvel Girl has posed:
Rachel Grey Gives that Cute kitten who just got the bird look " Imma make it a poster on my wall ". She Chomps on some chicken though with her out " I don't think I should tell her " she says as she sighs " logans kids is a dark thing I hope to prevent " .

     She looks to Erika " And you sleep properly okay or I swear your brain keeps me up again Imma knock you out " .

Ellie hovers back over to see what else there is besides chicken, oo biscuits and gravy, when it is does helping herself.

"Well no going back and preventing Laura, I like her. As to the photo.. only for your room Rachel." she smirks and thne falls back to her usual nuetral expression.

Samuel Guthrie smiles and lastly gets some tomato and cuts up some with his biscits and gravy, and says "Should be left overs will, have to do fried biscuits with jame for ya forbreakfast.

Rachel Grey Blinks " I don't think I can go back I dunno how I did it the first place.. well I know how to send a persons mind back but not thier body that was a mistake " . She sighs " Anyways I don't wanna prevent her I just wanna prevent what happens to her " . She adds as she grins at sam " I would like some more it's tasty stuff

"Mmm jam." is all Ellie says to that, though she doesn't smile or anything. One per outing at absolutely most. Ratity factor has to be maintained like pokemon. She dumps the bones in the compost bin and plate in the dishwaher before stepping to fetch a hug from Rachel. "I am fucking off to bed, class in the morning but glorious friday... soon to be saturday."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit at this and dishs Rachel some of biscuits and gravy and a piece of chickn, if she had white meat before he gives her dark meat this time or vice versa." He looks to Ellia, and says "Get some rest, going to have a few extra danger room sessions next week (And may actually run one)
