Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Wolfsbane, Rage

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane and Andrea had crossed paths on the grounds, with the Scot mentioning she was in the mood to go off into the woods for a bit. It ended up with Andrea joining, a New Mutant and a former New Mutant with similar abilities, yet considerably different in how they come about and work. Whether it would include some sort of training or not, that remained to be seen.

For the time being, the pair crossed the grounds into the treeline, Wolfsbane looking her usual with the wolfen elements in place, even if they were mild. "Th' weather's getting nicer, but before long it'll be all hot an' humid. We should enjoy this while it's nice oot, aye?" They did also let someone know where they'd be, going out toward the lake area.

Rage has posed:
As she walks along with the older wolf shifter, Andrea is bundled up in an Xavier sweater and a pair of loose fitting jeans. "I don't mind the hot and humid weather. I'm from California and it's my favorite time of the year. It means I can hit the beach and soak up a tan or something." She says with a grin. "You could benefit from one you know. But you'd probably burn, huh? That's like a red head thing? Your natural enemy is sunlight?" She teases, bumping her shoulder gently.

Wolfsbane has posed:
"We dinna have hot an' humid where I'm from, an' nae matter how long I've been here I'll probably never get used tae it," Wolfsbane explains with a shake of the head. "An' I've never been oot tae California for much o' anything. I've heard it's nice, or parts o' it can be, but it's verra expensive tae live there."

The teasing about burning and all that coaxes a generally mild stare out of her, the bump hardly throwing off her pace or balance at all. "Verra funny. Redheads are no' vampires, ye know." This one just happens to be what most would think of as a werewolf. "Do ye come oot this way much?"

Rage has posed:
"Maybe not a vampire, but I bet you sunburn like one." Andrea giggles as she blows some hair away from her face. "You should take a trip there one day, maybe to the Bay Area where I'm from. It's cooler out there, and lots to do. Can easily make a four day weekend out of it." As they walk, she gives a sniff of the air. "I run out here often in the wolf often enough to get a break from everyone and to just breathe. I used to come out here with Mason but he's been pretty busy with his music lately, so now I just come out here when I can."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane rolls her eyes, but it's not hard to tell Andrea's just being silly or whatever. "I do no'. But I've heard there are a lot of nice sights oot there. Maybe sometimes I'll go see, once things settle doon wi' all this Sentinel stuff. I dinna think it'd be verra safe right noo." That, above all else, has her frowning.

"Remind me how strong yuir senses are when ye're looking normal like this? Are they better than usual, or do ye have tae shift a' all tae get them?" she asks. The girl's file has not been checked lately, so when in doubt, go to the source. They get closer to the lake, coming into view through some trees along a path, but there's a camping area they're coming closer to.

Rage has posed:
"My senses are okay.. nothing like my wolf one. They're tweaked a little bit better than most humans, but not by much that I would brag about it." Andrea says as she gives a look about as she moves along the path, rubbing at her shoulder. "What about you? When you are human, does your senses get better also or only when you shift?"

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I need tae be a' least partly shifted, but I've had enough practice I can sharpen up muh senses an' still look more or less normal," Rahne explains, slowing as they approach the sign that fronts a path off toward a cabin. "Och, I think tha's th' way tae Logan's place. He's go' a cabin oot here. Best we keep going this way," she adds, gesturing toward the campsites that show signs of usage, if not necessarily recently.

The Scottish mutant suggests, "Once people start using these again, we should come oot an' see how well ye can tell who was there an' how recently." It seems, to her, like a good way to test one's tracking skills.

Rage has posed:
"In my wolf form I can tell you everything about anything. I'm good at that." Andrea assures as they walk, giving a grin as she glances down the path to the cabins. "Logan always has interesting scents near by. Most of it is booze." Her grin widens a bit. "I wouldn't mind getting some camping trips set up with the other students. I think that would be really fun to do. We're always trapped in the mansion with high tech stuff and television."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane replies, "I can track pretty well tha' way, but there's a limit tae how much I can do. A lot depends on how old it is, how many other scents are around, th' way th' weather's been.." She trails off, gesturing with a hand as she goes over examples of things that could impact the ability for her to follow a scent. "An' I dinna find th' smell o' alcohol verra interesting, personally."

They near a clearing and she glances around, sticking closer to the edge of it where there's shade from trees, no clear views of the sky above. "Hopefully once we're sure things are safer. I dinna like feeling like I have tae be looking over muh shoulder every time I just step ootside. I dinna like being inside all day an' night, either. I have tae get oot."

Rage has posed:
"It's only interesting to me of how many different types of alcohol I can find." Andrea laughs. "He has quite a variety." Giving a stretch of her body out, she pops a few joints. "But, I agree, but the curfew is here to keep us safe and the world is crazy now. I knew that well before robots were here. I've been shot at a few times during my concerts." She taps her shoulder. "Also stabbed once." She taps her chest. "I know a few of my friends are upset about it, but I would rather be trapped inside a huge mansion with a massive backyard and training facility than an apartment, you know? These kids have it pretty good."

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I guess ye have a point there," Wolfsbane admits, wondering, "Have ye learned much from him a' all? He can be grumpy a' times but he knows a lot about whit it is tae be like us." On they go, a glance back over toward Andrea following the sound of the joints in motion. "Especially after whit happened wi' Erika, aye. Naebody likes having tae worry about a curfew, but there are dangerous things oot there looking tae harm us. Th' good thing is there are a lot o' people here who are looking oot for everyone's safety."

Rage has posed:
".. not really. I try not to go out that way, if ever. I really haven't talked to Mister Logan much, but I would like to. He seems like a teacher I may benefit from." Andrea says as she picks up a stick to play with it in her hands. "I was the one who tracked Erika down. I was really scared. I had no clue what was going on but my senses allowed me to replay the attack and how she was taken. I didn't think we were going to get her back alive."

Wolfsbane has posed:
Wolfsbane points out, "He does come around th' mansion, ye know," and it's her turn to give a little bump back, something briefly impulsive. "But he knows a lot about balancing two sides, like th' one where ye're in control an' th' one where ye're no'. If ye ever wanted a real challenge wi' tracking, he could give it." She eyes the girl with her stick, a brow sliding upward briefly at the symbolism that inevitably crosses her mind. "It sounds like ye did a good job wi' whit ye could. I understand he's been let oot o' th' cells." No doubt who 'he' is.

Rage has posed:
"He does, but we do not have any classes together and he spends a lot of time in the garage working on cars and such. I don't want to bother him. Sides, I have my lane to stick to, my books and my studies and my music, and my team things that I wish I could get more into." Andrea says as she gives a bump of her shoulder back. "Yeah, he and I had a talk. I heard you did also. He fucked up, but he apologized, so I am going to forgive him. It's up to him now to make a new, positive path for himself."

Wolfsbane has posed:
"If ye want some time wi' him, all ye have tae do is ask, or I could ask for ye," Wolfsbane offers, watching for any reactions that might give away what Andrea thinks of it. "An' how do ye mean when ye wish ye could get more itnae team things?" As far as James Proudstar goes, she frowns. "I know he knows whit he did was wrong, but he had tae hear it from someone he apparently liked an' respected. It hurt me tae see him reduced tae tha' in th' cell, but whit he did was almost impossible tae forgive. He's just fortunate it was no' worse than it ended up as, an' people here believe in second chances if someone is remorseful an' means it."

Rage has posed:
"With the New Mutants. Just more stuff as a team in general. Camping trips, some training .. spending more time doing big brother and sister stuff with the student body. That type of stuff. They're my friends and I feel like we don't get enough time to really hang out and bond." Andrea says as she shrugs. "It's a wolf thing you know what I mean? They're my pack and I want to be with my pack. It's just hard to remember at times they don't think like I do." She laughs. The topic of James causes her to sober a bit more, then shrugs her shoulders. "Everyone deserves a second chance. He was angry and he had every right to be. He just didn't handle it the right way. But, this school is for healing, not ripping more wounds open. I am not going to add to it."

Wolfsbane has posed:
"I told him whit I thought he needed tae hear, an' left it a' tha," Rahne says. She slows near a few trees and examines them for any signs that may be out of the ordinary, a hand against the bark. "We did almost everything as a group when I was a student, a' least for a while. We trained together all th' time, an' we learned about how tae work off o' each other in whit we could do. I'm no' sure if I feel th' pack..thing th' way ye do, but I understand whit ye mean. Th' important thing is yuir friends an' people ye can count on for help when ye need it. I was no' always th' best a' letting people in closer."
