Shredder has posed:
The Skirball cultural center is the home for many theatre shows and plays for those of high standing, or at least like to pretend they are. It just got out, Les Miserables was playing this evening. Fancy coats, fancy dresses, and outrageous foreign accents abound. Even for those who may not appreciate the theatre, the exiting masses may be a spectacle to themselves. There is a specific group, however, that might cause those investigating the current political upsets in the court system to raise their brows.
The Brodeur family was once a prominent criminal family in New York. Their savate fighters kept most other enterprises from encroaching upon them. Recently, however, they have ended in court again and again, their businesses systematically shut down. Most might find this a good thing, but it is odd, considering how many criminals have been released lately. This family seems to be receiving the reverse treatment. Jean Claude, his wife Adalene, and their son Phillipe are high ranking members of that family. Phillipe, for his twenty years, is a rather ambitious young man.

To those who casually observe the scene, it is nothing unusual, a night at the theatre, with countless pockets to be picked by those bold enough to come to this area for criminal activity.

Michelangelo has posed:
Just a night at the theatre.

Michelangelo is hanging out in the sewers beneath the street onto which the theatre goes are exiting, hanging from the storm drain to do a little covert people watching. He does not know what a Les Miserables is, but he knows fancy clothes and cool looking pocket watches. And these dudes have plenty of both. With a huffing sigh, he drops down from her hanging to kick at the skateboard laying upon one side of the concrete drain pipe and rolls absently around with a pedal of one foot to propel him forward, "Soooo borreeed.." Lazily kick flipping after a pivot off the upward turn of the pipe. "Wish Casey was here, he'd totally have a cool idea to cure this booooooredooooom.." Tempting the fates.

Snake Eyes has posed:
Having been investigating the suspicious goings on in the criminal justice system, Snake Eyes is out to observe the Brodeur family. He's staked out across the street from the theater, looking at the crowds through a pair of night vision binoculars.

Recently injured in a gun battle, the ninja commando is trying to take it easy. At least easy for him, which means more meditation and less physical training. It's still not keeping him out of the field.

When he spots the family in question Snake Eyes pulls a cell phone looking gizmo from one of his pouches and swipes a message on it to his handler, "Targets in sight."

Moon Knight has posed:
Down in an alleyway, a huddled form in dirty rags is sleeping near a dumpster, or at least is laying down. It seems the rich ritzy sorts are paying the form no mind, and not paying any attention to the occasional glimpses of white and silver underneath the jackets, blankets and bits of newspaper.

And this form is paying close attention to the Brodeurs leaving the building.

Shredder has posed:
The Brodeurs have another set of watchers They sit on the rooftops, two black clad figures. As the Brodeurs pass the storm drain, they make comments to one another about the play, in French, or wait, is it about the play?

"<No, father,>" Phillipe says, "<We were once at the peak of power here, and now what? These Japanese come and decide that they can take our power?>" he says angrily. "<We need to show them strength, our Savate warriors can best these ninjas.>"

"<No,>" his father says. "<They are too powerful. The time has come, and I am going to encourage our family to join them. We cannot continue to resist. It has cost us too much already.>"

Whether the language is understood or not, the defiant spit to the ground has all the translation it needs, and he changes course, moving away from his parents, his black shoes clacking along the street. The older woman and man sigh as he storms off, and they shake their head.

From above, the two shadowy figures start to descend the fire escape stairs.

Michelangelo has posed:
Hey voices!

Mikey stops his skating to listen to the silken sounds of French being spoken about stuff that he doesn't understand, but wouldn't mind listening to all night. "That is such a pretty language." He muses to himself, lamenting having never learned it as if he's not a teenager with his whole life ahead of him to do so.

One set of feet trail off from the others, however and the turtle in the sewer kicks off down the drains to follow the sound of the sons feet, mostly out of bordom. He's not been following any investigations topside, that's one of his brothers job, he just goes with the flow of things. Usually to great effect.

"This sh- is bananas.. b.a.n.a.n.a.s.." Kickflip.

Moon Knight has posed:
The form near the dumpster remains there, not moving or attempting to follow, at least not yet. This mission is meant to be more reconnaissance than anything else, more about recording anything he manages to hear. Then he can bring it to Frenchie. Then Frenchie can translate it. So far he's unaware of the blackclad ninjas up top, though he can distinctly hear the horrible sounds of skateboard wheels on concrete. That was gonna make these recordings tricky, but they could figure it out somehow back at base.

Snake Eyes has posed:
As the family splits up Snake Eyes sends another quick message on his device, 'Targets splitting up. Following P.'

The masked man dashes from one rooftop towards another, leaping into the air and somersaulting over the gap between them. When he hits the surface below his feet he continues running along, trying to keep his eyes on the young man. From a bud in his ear comes a voice audible only to Snake, "Alright, we'll have Stalker pick up the other two when he arrives on site.'

Shredder has posed:
The parents discuss whether to go after him, and after a short talk, conclude that they will let him cool off. They get into their luxury car with their driver, and start down the road. Phillipe, however, continues to storm along the street when the two shadowy forms drop down in front of him, between him and the hidden form of Moon Knight. He freezes, looking at the two figures. They are clad in a blood red and gray uniform, somethin inhuman and intimidating about the forms. Long bladed claws extend from their fingers.

"You think scare me?" he challenges. "I know who you are." He points his finger at the two before him, but they remain silent. "You-" He stops as a tined finger holds out a leather cord with some sort of simple stone attached to it, letting it swing lightly before him. "Raphael?" he says. Not the turtle, but apparently someone with the same name. His bravado seems to shrink, and he takes a few steps backward.

Michelangelo has posed:
Danger, danger Phillipe Robinson.

Mikey denotes the tale tell sounds of distress even if the young lad dictates there is none! "Raphael?" Brow furrowing, the orange clad turtle skates up one half of the round pipe and grabs hold of the access ladder leading to a manhole cover in the midst of the street. At the top he pushes it up just enough to peer out with a little frown, half expecting his older brother to be lording over this kid. What he finds is something all together different, but equally unsettling.

"No bueno..." A sherkin between his two long fingers, the turtle rolls out into the street and whistles the throwing weapon out towards one of the street lights in an attempt to bath some of the area in darkness while reaching to his side for one pair of his nunchaku.

Moon Knight has posed:
As Mikey rolls into the area, the shabbily dressed homeless figure is rising to his feet slowly and subtly, and when that smokebomb is thrown down, just the very end of it catches the crazy looking figure. It seemed this was the Moon Knight's cue to join the party.

The jackets and blankets were tossed aside, and now, standing behind the evil clawed figures, was a figure in white and silver, cape covering the rest of his form down to his boots, white hood submerging his face in ominous shadow. Although from that shadow, two piercing glowing silver eyes were glaring out at the pair.

"Anyone ever tell you that 'Raphael' is a stupid name, pal?"

    Making his entrance known.

Snake Eyes has posed:
This is an unexpected development. Action Force intel hadn't warned Snake Eyes that there'd be any sort of opposition on this mission. He sends off a quick, 'Potential hostiles.'

Then one of the lights goes out. Snake Eyes continues looking down from his perch atop the building and crouches down to silhouette himself less. Suddenly, there' another figure appearing. One that's definitely out of place in the situation. Rather than intervene at this time this particular ninja plays it cool, watching and waiting to see what happens next.

Shredder has posed:
The bursting of the street light causes all three to shift their view to the fading mercury bulb, and the smoke bomb seemed to be the cue for the young Frenchman to make a break for it. He bursts into a full sprint, making his way for the opposite side of the street, vaulting over a car as it drives past. One of the two red figures glances over her shoulder to identify Moon Knight's voice when he speaks, but neither engage him. They take off in a sprint, following after Phillipe as he makes his way into the alley beyond.

Michelangelo has posed:
The turtle ninja breaks out in a run as well, leaping up and over the same car Phillipe vaulted with a palm placed on the roof to assist his side flip. Upon landing he bows forward into a roll that keeps his momentum and rounds off into the alley after the pair of red clad ninjas and their target.

His hand reaches back to grab the skateboard hooked to his belt by a rounded prong, side steps off the alley wall into a twisting flip, and side arm tosses it in the direction of one running ninjas' feet at the appex of motion to add weight to the throw. Full ninja mode! No time for witty banter!

No longer bored!

Moon Knight has posed:
Frenchman and the two masked thugs are running, the giant monstercreature is running, but the man in white takes a different approach, and takes to the skies. One muscular whiteclad arm reaches upward, grapnel gun aimed at the ledge of the theater. A sudden loud impact can be heard as the Moon Knight is a blur of motion going upward, zipping past the building ledge and spreading that cape out so that he can glide toward the chase in progress. In the sky he was gliding and descending like some avenging angel, hovering above the action and getting closer all the time!

Snake Eyes has posed:
Shadowing Phillipe has just become way more difficult. Snake Eyes, determined to do his job anyway, pursues. When he reaches the street he turns to face the wall leading to his rooftop and drops down, catching himself by a window sill, then drops and catches himself again, moving quickly down to ground level. Navigating traffic quickly, the commando tries to keep up with his target, sending a quick message on his gadget without looking: 'fubar'.

His head turns when he sees something fly towards one of the pursuing people, then follows it back to it's point of origin, some sort of green being. There's a lot going on but if can keep up with his target he may have a chance to disappear from view again and keep following. If whoever's also chasing him doesn't kill him, first.

Shredder has posed:
Phillipe bursts down the alleyway, unaware likely at just how many people are following his lead. He hits the end o fthe alley, a tall chain link fence barring his path, but instead of stopping, he changes to a right angle, running up the wall and then kicking off, catching the top of the fence and then vaulting himself over. The two red ninjas do similarly, one to each side of the alley, and they clear the fence all together as they land just behind Phillipe, who is bursting the rest of the way down the alley. The other side of the alley opens not into a street, but into the back of a shopping center, filled with loading docks and parked trucks.

Michelangelo has posed:
Mikey grabs up his thrown board as he continues to chase the trio and hooks it to his belt along that same loop as he too runs up the side of the wall and flips side ways over the top of the links into the loading area of a shopping center. A quick inspection done on the move to take stock of any potential hiding places, less they be leading poor Phillipe into some kind of trap. Sure can pick'em dude... he murmurs to himself at the unfortunate hiding place rich environment.

Moon Knight has posed:
"So what's your deal? You part of the BK crew? You protecting pissant criminal?"

That question was aimed at the ninja turtle as the form of Moon Knight descended down unto the flatbed top of an empty truck, casually walking to the edge and hopping down to ground level. Here he could slowly stalk around the turtle as the figure regarded him, trying to determine if this creature was a threat, or a hindrance, or merely a curiousity. And as he walked, he shrugged his cape backward to let it run behind his shoulders, so that he could pull a pair of silver metal nunchucks out of his belt, twirling them as an idle threat.

Snake Eyes has posed:
Can't let the target get murdered. That's probably the mission right now, or at least the start of it. Vaulting over the fence that separated the street from the back of the shopping center, Snake Eyes moves past the silver clad vigilante and the turtle being towards the pair of claw wielding ninjas and their prey, not making much sound even as he approaches at a run. Drawing his sword from his back he readies himself for an engagement. Since everyone else seems to be inclined to keep this relatively quiet he leaves his firearm slung for the time being. No sense in scaring the normals with the sound of gunfire.

Shredder has posed:
Phillipe grabs a handle on the back of a truck, pulling himself around it as he makes his way to the wall of the shopping center. He kips up onto the truck's wheel, and then up to the hood. His parkour is excellent, and he jumps against the windshield on top of the truck's roof to land him on top of the shopping center building. He only narrowly misses a kunai that whizzes past, catching his tuxedo jacket as the two red ninjas burst up after him, leaping directly onto the hood of the truck, and then following in a leap to catch the edge of the rooftop, pulling themselves up. They ignore Snake Eyes, their attention soley focused on their target. As for Moon Knight and Mikey, if they distract each other, it's all the better for them.

Michelangelo has posed:
"Nice cape, dude. I really need to work on my threads... Excuse me, gotta go kick ninja butt." Mikey says to the silver clad figure in a voice that's distinctly surfer dudish and probably a little on the young side. Rather than rising to the threat, because he could just be readying his weapons for combat, the turtle breaks away from the flatbed truck towards the pair of red clad ninjas at speed. One foot plants on the bumper of a loading truck and pushes him off one truck onto the hood of another, then into a forward flip to carry him over to the side of the shopping center where he can swing himself up in a three point crouch.

Another sherkin whistles out from an under hand flick of his wrist towards one of the ninjas, even while continuing to chase after them, gripping both handles of his own nunchuka as he does.

Moon Knight has posed:
The Knight was left there alone as the gigantic turtle ran toward the actual conflict. The hooded masked man stood there a moment, still twirling the chucks as he looked down and to the left. It looked almost like he had to reboot for a moment, as if he were listening to someone or just rocking on his heels for a moment.

Until the second that one of the red-clad ninjas reached the edge of that truck and started to leap. Then the Knight instantly pulled out his grapnel gun again, firing it through the air and letting that metal claw try to grasp on to the back of one of their clothing. With them in the air, they would have no leverage against Marc's incredible strength, as he yanked roughly in an attempt to pull them down to the hard concrete. Which would probably make Mikey's job much easier, if he was aiming for the other ninja.

Snake Eyes has posed:
Speaking of kicking ninja butt, that's what Snake Eyes is on his way to do. He follows Phillipe and his pursuers' path, trying to close the distance with the other ninjas. As a grapnel gun's projectile passes by him Snake jumps up onto one of the vehicles' hoods, then runs up it's roof to bounce from there to the roof of one of the tractor trailer roofs. From there it's just the small matter of closing with the villains.

Shredder has posed:
As one of the ninjas is struck by the grapnel gun, she finds herself yanked backward off the roof of the structure, and the other is struck in the shoulder by the shuriken as he attempts to close in on Phillipe. He pulls it free, turning to spot the turtle, and the silver. The action that's reached him though makes him a prime target for Snake Eyes, as he has his full attention on the turtle.

The ninja caught by the grapnel gun spins in the air, landing solidly on both feet and one hand, the other reaching out to take hold of the line and pull fiercely against it to return the favor, claw like blades scraping across the steel cord. Likewise, her attention turns to the turtle, the other clawed hand opening and preparing for combat.

Michelangelo has posed:
Mikey has stalled the one from grabbing Phillipe, but he's got eyes for the tumbling ninja back down on the ground following Moon Knights tug o war. His nunchucka are slipped away in favor of a length of threaded rope with a small, but heavy, weighted spike at the end which he keeps bundled up in his palm until he's jumped down off the edge of the roof into a side roll across his shell.

The weight begins to twirl out side his right elbow as he circles the red clad ninja, free hand holding a length of rope between his fingers as the length of rope does a figure eight spin to build up speed. With his left hand he threads his fingers up to and extends his right elbow to adjusts the direction and control of the weight, shifts his center of gravity around his back left foot, tucks his head into the small gap so that the cord spins around his neck twice. When he begins to spin around the toes of his right foot, his body straightens out and he releases the length of cord held in his left hand. The effect fires the spiked end straight out towards the ninjas chest like a bullet.

Moon Knight has posed:
She was pulling on the cord, but this wasn't tug of war. Instantly it went slack as Moon Knight pushed a button that 'released' it allowing him to put the gun away, and focus on running toward the red-clad clawed terror in a straight dash, even as he pulled out those silver nunchucks. Snapping them together quickly turned the two weapons into one silvered metal bo-staff, weighted specifically to cause pain. Instantly pulling back from Mikey's weapon swing, the Knight aimed for her best 'dodge' option, in a downward sword swing that would come down cruelly upon her skull if she indeed dodged Mikey's attack in that specific way. Teamwork makes the dream work.

"It's a bad day to be a piece of shit, it looks like."

Snake Eyes has posed:
"Snake, are you alright?" comes across the G.I. Joe trooper's comms. As a means of responding to the person speaking to him, Snake Eyes triggers his gear's microphone for a short burst to signal an affirmative. There's not much time to waste, though, so the soldier prepares to spring, bringing back his sword arm and dashing towards the masculine ninja. Jumping into the air he attempts to swing his weapon in arch, attempting a pommel strike on the back of the villain's head in an attempt to render them insensible. This pair may be much more valuable alive than dead, especially once Action Force's interrogators get their hands on them. Hopefully the other weirdos aren't looking to kill the pair.

Shredder has posed:
The ninja on the roof turns just in time to see the blow come at his face. He tries to dodge, but still manages to catch part of the hilt across his face. He spins, using the impact of the blow to increase his speed, a spin kick coming at the G.I.'s back in response. It's a little close, making his leg the primary impact point rather than the foot, but the force is enough that might drive a distance between the two for a reset if it works.
The female ninja on the ground leaps back from the spike in a handspring, the impact narrowly slinging over her chest as she bends backward away from Moon Knight, feet slinging upward to punish the aggression in a kick up toward his face. She's fast, and incredibly agile. It's clear that neither of these are run of the mill mooks.

Michelangelo has posed:
Mikey retracts the length of cord by wrapping it around his elbow in a series of quick twists that send it hurtling back towards him to immediately start spinning again outside his left elbow after wrapping in around his thigh and waist. "Owie! Don't kick'em bro!" He calls out, unable to help himself.

The turtle ninja steps forward through the wide arching spin to release the cord from his thigh and dances towards the femja, on the balls of hsi feet. In closer proximity he can use shorter thrusts of the rope bound weight like a flail whistling over his elbow or around his neck in a series of movements meant to both deflect incoming blows and press his attack. Right palm opens and again the momentum of the weapons twirling thrusts it forward half distance of the length with the rest still threaded in under his left armpit.

Moon Knight has posed:
This woman clearly has some experience as a fighter, but she was in a two-on-one against a ninja and a former commando and current psycho. To say that she was in a tough situation was an understatement. She throws the kick and he deflects with his staff, slapping her foot out of the way and possibly throwing off her balance just a little, perhaps just enough to distract her while Mikey launches his own energetic attack. Suddenly that staff twirled out and came down in a swooping swing aimed for the side of her knee, on the leg she was still standing on. If it hit it would be bad news for her legs and center of balance, but action taken to dodge or counter meant she'd have less ability to directly focus on what the turtle was doing.

A moment later during this fight, Moon Knight would turn his head toward Mikey, his ragged uneven voice coming out in a questioning tone.

    "Wait a minute...are you a turtle?"

Snake Eyes has posed:
Not quite up to his full fighting speed after his recent injuries, Snake Eyes is struck across the back by his opponent's leg and pushed a few feet away. It takes but a moment for him to take a fighting stance with a two handed grip on the hilt of his katana. This opponent seems capable, more than one would expect, but Snake is no pushover. He strikes out with a thrust from his weapon, aimed at piercing the ninja's shoulder. Even as he attacks with his blade the commando is ready for it to be dodged or parried, waiting for an opportunity to close in and deliver a knee strike to the solar plexus.

Shredder has posed:
The female ninja, well, she is in a difficult position, going 2v1. The completing handspring naturally took her out of the strike against her knee, but the deflection did set her off balance enough that she is caught in the shoulder by Mikey's blow, sending her back onto the ground. She has a secret though. She cheats. As Moon Knight looks back to speak to Mikey, she pulls a small orb with the clawed blades, and then flings it out to land between the two of them. It's an impact grenade. Unlike normal grenades, it doesn't have a count down, but instead once armed, it is triggered by the moment it impacts something, it's current target the ground between Moon Knight and the orange clad ninja turtle.

As Snake's strike comes at the other ninja, he slings up to intercept it with the claws as a parry. He likewise tries to close at the same time, no defense against an attack, but his own is a stab of the clawed fingers, aimed straight for Snake's ribs.

Michelangelo has posed:
"New phone, who dis?" Mikey answers Moon Knight's question with levity rather than, like, an adult answer. Because he is not an adult and defaults to levity, especially in the face of impending explosions which comes against warning save the toss. The explosion knocks the turtle backwards and the chainwhip bundle tumbles off him like loose cord, "Oh Jeez, lady!" Blinking away stars as he rolls across the curve of his shell into a back handspring up onto his feet in a wide legged fighting stance, ready to engage her if she gets into the three of four feet he's able to see until the stars clear from his vision.

There's a couple phantom strikes at nothing, one of which, takes a rearview mirror off the truck nearest him when he throws a crisp hook. "Dude, I can't see! I'm blind.." Fists used for something more constructive like rub at his eyes to clear the cob webs and ear buzzy feeling in his skull. "Oh god I can't hear either!? I'm deaf and blind!" And extra af.

Moon Knight has posed:
The grenade was thrown down, and instantly Moon Knight was snapped out of his reverie, leaping away and diving for cover before his rational mind could piece together the threat of grenade. The explosion hit and the big man in white was already tackling the turtle, hurtling through the air so that both men(men? Are turtles men?) hit the ground with a roll. It would be a hard landing for Mikey just like it was for Marc, there was definite bruising under the vigilante's costume. But at least this way, the blinding deafening explosion wasn't quite so devastating for them. At least they'd be able to function during this fight.

Assuming that the girl was there, and that she didn't take this opportunity to escape somewhere.

Snake Eyes has posed:
Driving his knee into the male ninja's chest, Snake Eyes takes one of his hands from the hilt of his sword to try to knock aside the blow the stab that's aimed for his torso, turning what might have been a fatal blow into just a rake across the skin. After the block attempt he jumps into the air and unleashes a front kick, trying to use his legs to gain a little distance.

When the explosion goes off stealth is clearly out the window. Should he get the opportunity to do so Snake Eyes will reach to his back to grab hold of his MP7 with his free hand, ready to put the weapon into action to end this fight more quickly.

Shredder has posed:
As Moon Knight and Mikey turn back, it appears that the only remains of the fight are the shredded pieces of grenade that have scattered about. The female ninja is gone, having had a low taste for continuing the fight. It wasn't her mission to begin with. Phillipe, however, he could be anywhere. During the fight he never stopped running, and with everyone else occupied, he'll likely live to flight another day as well.

The male ninja takes the kick to the chest, sprawling backard, and rolling up to a crouching position. As the gun comes into Snake Eyes' hand, he glances at the turtle and silver clad hero. A snap to his own belt, and flick to the ground releases a flash of light and explosion of smoke, a distraction no doubt to cover an escape.

Moon Knight has posed:
When Moon Knight got up, it looked like the two redclad thugs had gotten away, which meant the vigilante, the ninja commando and the giant mutated turtle were all there by themselves, even as the moon shone bright in the night sky, shining down its cold light on the trio. Looking around, it was that vigilante who broke the ice first, so to speak.

    "So. Now what?"

Michelangelo has posed:
Mikey is all cuddly with Moon Knight, but their embrace is short lived. Aside from a pat on the white and silver clad vigilantes cheek, the turtle crawls forward on his hands and knees, "Ugh, I thought these dudes were totally gone.." Mumbling to himself. He considers going for the length of cord attached to the weighted ball, but second guesses it when he can't see much of anything beyond the end of his own nose. There's no no, he has no nose, thankfully that is not changed from before the explosion.

"You're a sweet guy, Capes and spookie ninja dude.." From his hands and knees to his feet in a kick flip, "Uhh... peace!" Two fingers up in peace signs, Mikey makes a break for it towards a man-hole into which he can escape before cops show up or someone asks to take a selfie with him or generally anything because his head hurts and the Foot Clan are a... foot.

"I need to find Leo.." He grumbles, as the manhole resets in place. "He's gonna be pisssseed..."
