A Long Ways to Go.
Date of Scene: 20 March 2019
Location: New York state highways
Synopsis: Cyclops, Rogue and Shadowcat steal a shipment of Sentinel parts, evade police, steal a few for themselves and destroy the rest
Cast of Characters: Cyclops, Rogue, Shadowcat

Cyclops has posed:
Outside of New York, west of the great city is where the three mutants find themselves. There's a location that the school got wind of that is known to be a place where parts are pieced together before going onto full assembly for the sentinel program. The two girls, Kitty and Rogue, have been requested to follow along with Scott on a scouting mission at the facility.

Scott had reassured and reaffirmed to both x-women that this is just a surveillance gig, they are not to do anything where they can get caught. That's not what this is about, but then as the three were getting ready to back out and return to the mansion, a huge seventy foot trailer pulled into the drive and parked at the entry gate, with the driver hopping out and having a chat with the security guard, whose vehicle is parked on the other side of the gate, not too far from the semi is a new muscle car, a camaro from 2026, sitting there, pulled into the spot backwards for a quick get away.

Scott eyes the situation and there's an atypical grin growing on his face. "Shadowcat, Rogue..." He puts his hand up to his visor and shakes his head, "This is the dumbest idea ever." Then he takes in a breath, "I think we are going to run scenario Bo." Scott says with a wink on the other side of his visor before he stands up, "You two take care of the two in the station, I'll get the truck on the road, you two be my cover." Scott smirks as he stands up and marches towards the semi.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is wearing her leather trench coat that has a dark green canvas jedi-like hood sewn into the inside of the leather collar on, the dark green hood is up over her head and her hair is tied up into a bun to keep the white bangs inside to help keep her from getting ID'd when out in public like this. Beneath the jacket she has on a dark green and black bodyformed suit that clings to her figure and keeps her dangerous skin protectively covered and concealed.

When Scott speaks up, Rogue sits up and she looks over at him with a devlish grin on her dark purple painted lips. "Finally, somethin's goin' down." She says in her smokey voice before she looks over to Kitty and offers her a grin before looking back to Scott. "This is a lot more pro-active than you usually are, Cykey. I like it." Then she regards Kitty again. "You wanna lift over t'the station, I'll drop ya in and then land and cause them t'look at me? You sneak up and knock'em the eff out?"

Rogue is already standing up with her leather coat waving around her legs, preparing for this plan.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde wore a dark green hoodie with black jeans, the colors good for blending into shadows for when it gets dark. But not looking like she's trying to be all surreptitious should she need to go out into well-lit areas. Her hair is pulled back into a pony tail and she's sporting a baseball cap as well.

Kitty looks over to grin at Rogue. "Improvisation. I like it. Could this be Jean rubbing off on him?" she asks the other woman without looking at Scott. Though he can see her teasing grin.

She finally does look over to Scott, giving a quick nod. "Right, we'll take them out," she agrees. Kitty hops up and nods over to Rogue. "That'll work," Kitty agrees. She pulls a pair of gloves on, both making sure she doesn't leave prints behind, and doubling the safety factor with Rogue. "Ready," Kitty says, reaching out her hands to Rogue for pick up.

Cyclops has posed:
While the girls are jumping the two in the guard booth, Scott is moving towards the cab of the truck, not even really concerned for cameras, as he too is wearing a rather thick hoodie with camoflauge pattern on it that many might see in this area with all the hunting available out west of New York, and Scott even has a yankees cap on, worn down to the brim, just to be more casual looking. He keeps his hands inside the large front pocket of his hoodie until he gets to the front and jumps up into the cab as the girls should be making sure no one is conscious.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue grins at the comment about Jean's influence on Scott. "We can hope, right?" She watches their leader walk off and as she moves to step up to Kitty she takes hold of her hands. "He needs t'shake off'a bit'a steam, and I think thats the right redhead for the job." She says to Shadowcat with a continued grin. "Here we go. Up'n'at'em, Hotness." She tells her friend as the southern belle takes flight with her jacket whipping in the wind around her body.

Rogue soars up into the sky, easily able to lift the other girl with her immense strength. She shoots up and over the street, then overtop of the station itself and as she draws downward again she speaks to Kitty. "Releasin' ya, sugah. I'll drop outta the sky then and make'em look my way!"

Rogue does just say, and releases her grip on Shadowcat, delivering her down to the station and then shooting up over it, only to then slam into a big metal sign and take it down to the ground with her, causing a massive metallic crashing noise on the other side of the station to get all heads in her direction!

Shadowcat has posed:
Shadowcat lets go as Rogue drops her, dropping and slowing as she reaches the roof. She moves quietly along the roof top until she gets a corner where a camera looks out on the yard. A hand reaches down, phasing and passing through the camera, it's small red light immediately going off as the electronics inside die. Once that's done, she drops down through the roof and straight into the ground.

There is no sign of the Shadowcat as the men start and run over a few steps to get a better view of what just happened. Until Kitty rises behind them out of the ground.

Fully clear of the ground, she grabs hold of both men's heads at the same time and cracks them together. BONK! They both go down in a heap. Kitty crouches to check and make sure they are both ok, and then turns to run towards the semi-truck.

She gives a thumbs up gesture, keeping the brim of her hat low to help shield her face should there be any cameras she missed. She runs over to the semi and climbs on the back as she moves to check what it is carrying.

Cyclops has posed:
"Scenario Bo Shadowcat." Scott says to himself with a frown as he watches her move towards the semi when he gets a hold of Rogue's attention through the window and points dramatically towards the car and then gives the southerner a huge shrug as he's trying to get her to grab the other x-woman and get with the program.

Scott should wait, but he's about to steal a semi so he's throwing it into reverse with a couple of grinded gears but he gets it in and the thing starts to back up and he's starting to get the biggest damn grin on his face. They're going to really take off with some stupid pieces of metal and get to recreate some of the greatest memories of his childhood.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue steps up off of the sign that she just smashed onto the ground and she just walks slowly over toward where Shadowcat ha dispatched the two dudes. She grins playfully and nods her head. "Not bad, not bad at all."

But then her eyes sweep to Scott, and sweep then to that fancy 2026 camero... "I will happily steal that." She says with a bit of need in her voice as she walks past where Kitty is with the unconscious guys. "See if any of them have keys, if not, I think I can hotwire it... been awhile, but these modern cars are actually easier t'do than the older ones, as weird as that sounds. Friend'a mine showed me." Stilts. What a friend her vertically challenged card playing partner is.

With a skip in her step, Rogue steps over to the fancy car and tries the door. Its open, how about that. She leaves it open as she slides on inside and settles into the seat, leather on leather. She takes the wheel with one hand and starts to poke around inside the cab. "Lovely, lovely girl." She mutters under her breath while snoopying.

Shadowcat has posed:
"Oh, right," Kitty says. "Bo. Not Doh. We really need to avoid plan names that sound alike. Even if someone does like the Simpsons," she concludes. She heads back to the downed men, giving them a quick pat down. "I have keys," she says. "Two pair, but these are the truck driver's." She leaves those. Bad enough he got his head smashed into someone else, without not being able to drive home tonight.

She trots back over to join Rogue, tossing the keys to her before moving around to the passenger side. She opens the door, because these fancy cars probably have electronics in the door she'd ruin. Who wants to be stuck not being able to put down their passenger window, right?

Kitty settles in and says over her comms. "Alright, we're in the car." She looks over to Rogue then. "By the way, thank you -so- -much- for letting me borrow the Bentley." Kitty detailed it by hand before returning it. "I can't believe Mr. Wayne bought me that Toyota," she says, shaking her head.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott is backing the semi up the short dirt road but waits for the girl's to get caught up so he can get back onto the main road and then get headed out towards the school. "Now the fun part begins." Scott says as he rumbles the truck into drive and frowns at the camaro and yet he's the only one here who's probably at least able to drive a semi, so he's in the big seat while the girls are literally given a pass to break the law to keep the law off Scott's trucker ass.

"Op Bo you two." Scott says into the short range coms, "Should probably call it Op Bandit, because no one knows he's actually named Bo." Scott explains in the headsets as he starts to chug down the road.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue has the keys and has the car on in a matter of seconds. Her door is pulled shut and she's got the vehicle rolling along in no time. In her lap is a wallet she found in the center console too, with some bills sticking out of the corner of it. She glances over to Kitty and grins at her. "No worries." She tells her. "Glad ya got some use outta it. I got that Dodge now too, and my Van... The Van's parked at my friend's place in Salem Center though. He's usin' it t'haul his band's gear around in and payin' me a little for it."

The Camero hits the edge of the street and its back tires send a wash of rocks, sand and dirt out behind it before it hits pavement again and squeals tires as the driver seems a bit mad... but capable... behind the wheel. She comes up on the left side of the semi and swerves around it off-road again, jostling around both she and Kitty inside the vehicle and as they pass by Scott, Rogue honks her horn twice at Cyclops in the Semi then pulls ahead of him and back out onto the road.

"Cyclops." Rogue says over the team comms. "Where we go any how, breaker six niner?" She glances over at Kitty grinning. "Thats trucker talk." Its not.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde turns in her seat to examine the semi as Rogue zooms on past it. "If you wanted to keep this and need me to hack the VIN database and change it, just let me know," Kitty says with a grin to Rogue as the woman seems to be enjoying the car. "Cyke, we should check out the semi's contents before we get too far towards home. If there's any bad robots in there, they have homing beacons and all," she reminds over their comms.

Kitty turns back around to watch the road ahead. "I'm probably going to get a place in New York," Kitty tells Rogue as they continue the caper, Kitty keeping her eyes peeled. If they are the Bandit, then she'd better watch out for Smokey to show up. "I got the job with Stark Industries. Starting up soon as I finish the contract job for Janet," she shares.

Cyclops has posed:
"Rogue, we have the one channel." Scott says, and she could feel his eyeroll as he watches her slip past off the edge of the road and shakes his head. "Slow down girl, we're taking this to the hanger, learn what we can as fast as we can then dump the trailer and the truck and probably the car at the boarder." Scott reports, but then smirks a touch. "This is Scooter Dew puttin' the hammer down." And the truck roars as he starts to speed up, slowly working to get to the next major high way towards the school.

"If it had beacons they'd already be going off with how close we are to them." Scott says in reply to Kitty, or do you want to do some work in the inside while we move?" Scott says, knowing it's dangerous but if anyone should be in the back of a moving truck, it's Kitty.

The trip so far has been pretty easy, but once the two men come to and realize they've been robbed, the cops are called and told to keep an eye out for a black Camaro as well as a semi, described to a T as what Cyclops is in. Not too long before they are passed by a black and white SUV that turns around in a hurry before the red and blues come on.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue actually laughs at what Scott says over the comms, the joke part anyway, not the beacon part... thats serious, and something she definitely hadn't thought about. "We'll be fine." Rogue says back to Cyclops over the comms. "Don't fret on it, sugah."

She glances over to Kitty then and her eyes go wider for a moment, her hood is still on over her head too. "You really got your ducks in a row mighty fast, Miss Pryde." She says to her FRIEND. "I'm proud'a ya. I hate the idea of ya not livin' at the Mansion with me, but thats just purely selfish, so pay no heed t'that." She exhales lightly then. "I woulda given ya my loft, but I rented it out t'some arachaeologist woman. She was a teacher at Xavier's while I was away. Some British lady, pretty. Kinda weird. Twitchy though. Twitchy people give me the willies."

Rogue sees the blue and reds come on in the side mirror and she speaks a quiet curse word. "Cyke, we got company." She glances over at Kitty. "Want me t'bail out and go get'em off our tails?" Bail out of a moving car? Yeah... she's that kinda crazy.

Shadowcat has posed:
"Maybe you can come house hunting with me," Kitty says, not that it would end up being a house that she'll get. She's pulling out her phone and working on it quickly. "I should be able to at least get an idea if there is a signal going out," Kitty says over the comms. "Though I can't crack it from here, or even confirm if it's Sentinel without a lot of work," she says.

The red and blue lights coming on cause Kitty to look up. "Well, I was going to say, pull back just in front of the truck and I'd jump across," Kitty says to Rogue. "But yes, that needs to be taken care of first. Go ahead and get them, I'll drive," she says, giving Rogue a grin and just -knowing- the woman is looking forward to this.

Kitty undoes her seat belt. Not that she needs to, but it'll be easier to get back into later. She gives Anna-Marie a nod, reaching over to steady the wheel and ready to slip in beside it once Rogue is off doing... Rogue stuff. You know. Being sexy and distracting.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott would prefer Rogue stay in the car, but the odds are the same as if the sun were to rise at 7:00 pm. So Scott bites his tongue and keeps the pedal down as he pushes the truck to get further and further up to speed as he aims to get onto the high way and watch Rogue do her blues brother's thing. Not the same movie, but the results will work for what they need. He will never understand who told that girl that flying everywhere when breaking the law is the thing to do. Freaking Mystiqaue.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue flashes a grin over at Kitty. "We'll talk him inta letting us keep this thing too and you can do that... whatever it is you said you can do." Rogue never had aher seat belt on to begin with, its not really her style to wear one. So when Kitty takes the wheel, she releases it and uses her left gloved hand to push one gloved finger down on the button that makes the tinted window slip down into the door and then she's up and crawling out of the window...

Once she's in the right level of freedom she's shooting out of the window like a shot out of a gun!

Scott will see her go, its getting dark outside, but he'll still see enough to see her disappear out of the car and into the dimming evening sky off to the south. The Police SUV however, doesn't seem to have any idea whats going on, its just chasing their vehicles while running code.

It takes about 30 seconds for it to happen, but when it does, its sudden... not violet, just sudden. The SUV leaves the ground and shoots up into the sky, vanishing behind their two car convoy.

It takes another minute or so before Rogue's voice is heard over the comms. "They're outta the dance. It wasn't even a slow dance neither... When's someone gonna slow dance with me?" She sounds mockingly pouty on the team comms. Wherever she is. Whatever she did with the SUV.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde slides over behind the wheel, the car slowing only for a few moments before she has her foot on the gas to accelerate again. "Not saying that I am unhappy with my power. It really is pretty awesome as far as I'm concerned. But it would be nice to be able to zoom off into the sky instead of having to climb up into it like I'm going up steps," she says.

"Though, I guess that's still better than just... you know, falling helplessly," Kitty concludes. She checks the rearview, seeing that the police vehicle has vanished. "Rogue, where were you when I was doing 75 in a 65 when I was 18?" she complains into her comms unit. "I even tried crying. Nothing. He just stared at me and shook his head," she fumes at the memory.

Cyclops has posed:
"Did you put that cop car into a lake?" Scott asks over the coms as he lets off the gas a bit to keep from driving into the rear of the Camaro with a brief blip before he's back on the gas and the car and truck are headed to the main interstate between the west of New York to Westchester. "We've got about an four hour drive." He explains, this might get interesting with the cops swarming and looking for us." Scott frowns to himself before he reaches up and tugs at the air horn twice with a dumb smirk.

Rogue has posed:
Scott will hear a thud on the top of his truck's roof as Rogue comes to land on top of it. iTs cold outside, but not freezing, so the winds are whipping around the southerner as she stands triumphantly atop the semi truck, her hood having been blown back off of her head and her tied-back hair coming a bit more loose in the strong gusts.

"I was probably runnin' from the cops myself somewhere." Rogue says over the comms, voice elevated enough so that she was sure they could hear her.

"They're in a lake, yeah, But I only put them about knee-deep inta it. I ripped the tires offa their ride though, so they're gonna step out and find that they ain't goin' no where. They're likely calling reinforcements though..." Scott likely already knows that though.

Shadowcat has posed:
The sports car zooms down the road, pulling a bit out in front of the truck as Kitty scouts the way ahead. "Well, let's see," she says over the comms as she does what you really shouldn't do, working her phone as she drives. Soon she has a website pulled up that broadcasts a police scanner. "I've got their radios up, we'll know what they are saying about us soon enough," Kitty says.

The sports car zooms around a bend in the road, revealing a gorgeous night time view of a valley opening up below, the road going up the other side. Nice straightaway for Kitty to fiddle more with her phone. As she does, the scanner website crackles to life.

"Uh, Sarge? This is Milo. We... ah.... we thought we sighted that semi. Heading north on Highway 12. But... we... had an incident. Our car is... disabled." In the background someone can be heard saying, "Christ we're in a lake!"

Cyclops has posed:
"Sounds like we're about to have smokeys on our tail." Scott says, as he's never actually ran from the cops, so he's a bit nervous but he's behind this giant wheel with an enormous transmission under his right hand, and the rumble of countless miles ahead of them. "Rogue, get back to Kitty, give her a hand, you two are supposed to keep those cops of me. We're hauling Coors to Atlanta. Yeah good buddy." He says, falling into all the tropes and stereotypes possible.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is just grinning at the voices of the cops that Kitty brings up onto their team comms. "Poor fellas, gonna get their loafers all wet." Scott will be able to hear her walking around on the top of the truck, her ability to stay balanced is almost unparalleled due to her ability to fly and her durability against the buffeting winds.

"Kitty?" Rogue says after she hears their leader's words. "Is Cyclops drunk? I mean its okay if he is, I kinda like it if I'm bein' honest..."

There's a sound of boots leaving the top of the truck above Scott's head then and he'll see the flying Rogue, and her leather long jacket, flowing through the are in front of the Semi's headlights as she sidles up beside the Camero on the passenger seat side now.

The door to the car is opened and she elegantly glides her body inside of the vehicle and then draws the door closed, grinning over at Shadowcat now, the scent of the fresh cold air she brings in with her permeating the air of the sports car now. "So whats in the truck any how?"

Shadowcat has posed:
The camaro straightens out and holds a speed to help Rogue drift inside as easily as if the car was standing still. "Good question. Truck like this at the Gotham docks had an actual Sentinel under a tarp. Though that was FoH, not sure if these are related. Scott?" Kitty asks for clarification on the target he picked.

Kitty keeps an eye on the rearview and up ahead. She's more focused on up ahead though, wanting to give Scott plenty of time if they need to detour. And anyone coming up from behind will have to catch up as the truck is trying to drive away from them.

There's a warm laugh over the comms. "When we get back home, you get to burn a sweater vest," Kitty says teasingly over the comms to Scott. She never jokes with someone like that unless she loves them. And she loves her team!

Cyclops has posed:
"I don't have any sweater vests. I'm not like... Bill Cosby or something." Scott says, getting all of that wrong. But he doesn't know anyone who has a sweater vest. "That facility was supposed to be an assembly plant, so I doubt there's a full robot in here, just a shipment of ... something they need. I assume." Scott says, hoping he didn't just steal supplies for the break room and nothing else.

The miles go on and on for a while, and the sun goes down, shadowing the valley in blackness as the lights from the headlights are all that light the way, and the road side lamps. The sudden red and blue lights up ahead, signalling a road block might not be a good sign though. Maybe the three x-men are about to be caught.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue gives a sidelong grin to Kitty on her left. "I think you got under his skin a bit with the sweater vest comment. But honestly, I wouldn't care if he was wearin' one right now, cause this is the coolest thing I've seen him do yet."

She'll spend the next many minutes of their traveling either looking around outside or down at her phone, she's looking stuff up on her phone and has even slipped her bare thumbs out from beneath her gloves to more easily operate the screen of it with smooth warm thumbs.

"So that truck probably weighs about thirty four thousand pounds, give or take a few thousand..." She looks up then to Kitty and then spies the blue and reds up ahead.

"Cyclops. Whats the plan here?" She asks then. "You wanna ditch the truck and I can put this car ontop've the trailer with you two in it while I fly the two've'em the resta the way? Thirty four thousand pounds is only around eighteen tons. Not even a heavy load for me." Its her suggestion for getting out of this pickle!

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde nods over to Rogue. Teasing can go too far. "Sorry Scott, just like to tease you," she tells him. "This is the most awesomest improvisation I can remember," Kitty tells him over the comms as they speed along, chewing up the miles quickly. "We can definitely use more parts to study, so if that's what it is, it could come in handy," Kitty confirms. "Especially if it's the newer model."

She spots the lights up ahead. "Looks like a road block, or possibly cars on the move," she says before it becomes clearer. "Ok, road block, yep," she says. Kitty listens to Rogue's plan. "I don't know what they could do to stop us at that point. I doubt they have aircraft in the area. I mean, it's the cops, not SHIELD."

Hopefully it's the cops, and not SHIELD.

Cyclops has posed:
"You do you Kitty." Scotty says, in a way of giving her permission to do what she wants. He frowns slightly at the idea, "That would work Rogue, but we're a long ways out from the school and the hangar bay. I don't want you getting tired. Can you handle that far of a trip?" Scott asks with a lift of his eyebrow over the red sunglasses. That part does suck at night, but he's used to it by now. "If they do see us though, choppers will be on our tail quick, and Rogue would be stuck doing all the hard work." The leader says with a frown as he considers the options.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue certainly does have limitations to her flight, its why she doesn't use it to do things like fly across the Atlantic ocean. In this scenario, and whats running through her head the most is her arms getting tired of being up over her head for a long period of time...

"Ah." She starts, her eyes forward on the lights ahead. "I think it'll be fine. Eighteen tons is nothing. I don't really get tired unless this load is over fifty... then it starts t'get a bit rough after awhile. IF things do go bad, I can just take a break in a field somewhere. There's a lotta trees around here, it'll be pretty easy t'hide unless they got a chopper on us with a spotlight... But, I could disable that too."

She gives a glance over to Kitty then. "You wanna kill the engine?" She asks then. "Get the parkin' break ready."

Rogue raises her hands up then to touch the hood of the car above her and Kitty's heads, its all she needs to lift the car off the ground from the inside. "E.T. mode..." She mutters as she prepares to do-so.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty replies to Scott with an affirmative, "You got it. Well, I'll be telling people about it anyway," she tells him. Kitty sits up a little straighter in her seat. As if that extra two inches it gains her is going to reveal all sorts of information about the road block ahead.

She says over her comms, "We don't need to fly all the way back. Just get us over them without being spotted," Kitty suggests.

"Turning lights off now so they can't see what we did. Hopefully they'll think we did a U-turn and chase back down south," Kitty says. She turns off the lights of the camaro and then nods to Rogue. "Ok, car's in neutral. Soon as we're off the ground I'll shut it down," she tells Rogue.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott frowns as the Camaro goes dark and he gulps silently to himself as it starts to lift from the ground. He reaches over and undoes his own belt and then ties it around the wheel a couple of times before clicking it back into place, and throwing the truck into neutral as well. He's getting ready to climb out of the truck and have Rogue haul him to the top of the container before she handles the rest. "We're doing this?" He frowns to himself off coms.

Rogue has posed:
And the Camero is lifted off of the ground. "Ya know, its arguable that we don't need t'keep this car at all... but then, it is very pretty. And it gives you two a place to sit that isn't out on the top'a the trailer." She's grinning as their car is shut off and it leaves the ground, its body groaning a bit as the weight is shifted throughout the vehicle... it feels like a plane taking off in a way and the lights ahead of them start to vanish down beneath the car.

"We'll be fiiiine." Rogue says to Scott's words as she looks back over her shoulder and guides them back over the trailer. She takes one hand off of the roof, her right hand, and she uses it to pop the door on the Camero open so she can peer outside and look down beneath them...

After a minute or so the car thuds down ontop of the trailer. "Kitty? Think you can go grab Scott and get him back up in here while I work on detachin' the truck from the trailer?"

Shadowcat has posed:
The car engine is turned off once it is airborne. Kitty watches with interest as they lift off and begin slowing to let the semi drive beneath them. "Sure, let's do it. I mean, really, what could go wrong?" she asks. Lifting up vehicles, filled with gasoline, to an altitude that by itself could lead to a messy death even without the prospects of gasoline-fueled explosions.

Thank god for thought bubbles, as Kitty doesn't share those thoughts.

At Rogue's request, the brunette phases out of her seatbelt and then stands up to exit the car through the roof, making sure she won't damage any electronics. "You got it," she says over the comms once she's on top of the car.

She springs forward, moving deftly despite the wind generated by the speeding semi. "Ok Scott, just going to pull you through the back of the cap," she tells him. "On three. One. Two, Three." She reaches through the back of the truck and, if allowed, will phase Scott and bring him back to join her. Making sure they are safely clear of anything in their bodies, she'll phase him back over. "Ok, we're good, heading for the camaro," she says.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott lets himself get pulled through the cab and part of the trailer with ease. "Thanks Kitty." He says before the atmosphere smashes into him and Kitty. Suddenly they're really outside doing 70+ miles an hour and slowing, thanks to the truck being in neutral. "That will wake you up!" Scott says after he catches his breath and starts to make his way to the passenger seat of the Camaro. "I think we're about ready when you are." Scott says over the coms to Rogue as soon as he and Kitty are back in the car.

Rogue has posed:
While Kitty and Scott were getting sorted, Rogue was getting associated with what its like down between a Semi Truck's cab and its trailer... and its dark... "Right." She says. "Okay... So that is connected t'that... that is... connected, to what? Oh, right, that..." She's turning in circles, places one hand on the back of the cab and one on the trailer's front, turning more and alternating as she inspects things.

"Ah fuck it." She just starts smashing stuff with her booted foot, slamming it into the connections parts and sending it right on through. The heel of her boot is thankfully reinforced by her bodysuit's fancy design, and she's able to disconnect as much of it as she believes there is, then she's on her way to go down beneath it all.

"Eat your heart out, action movie heroes." She mutters as she disappears beneath the trailer.

"Up up and away!" Rogue says a moment later. "Hold onto your fine fine bottoms!" This is all broadcast over the team's comms of course. A second later and she's lifting the trailer up from its mid section.

Only problem is, she didn't completely detach the Cab and its now dangling from the front of the trailer, swinging back and forth which is making her struggle to keep the trailer balanced and subsequently troublesome for that Caomera to stay completely safe atop it all!

"Uh oh." Rogue's voice mutters over the comms.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty laughs softly as she listens over the comms. "I wonder if they can hear this back at home," Kitty comments. If so they probably don't know what is going on, what it references. It was just supposed to be a scouting mission after all. Though the comments from Rogue will just draw the normal laughter they would anyway.

As the truck is lifted, but not free of the cab, Kitty feels it start to tip. "Um, tipping," she says into the comms. "We... are tipping." She's got the parking break on, and finds herself wondering against just what grade of slope are those things effective?

Kitty looks over to Scott as if gauging their skills and the problem at hand. "I'll steady you, you blast it?" she proposes, already reaching over to phase Scott and she up through the roof of the car to exit it quickly.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott sighs as he listens to Rogue's coms. "You just pick it-- You smashed it didn't you?" He sighs to himself and Kitty before the x-man chimes in and he smirks. "Sounds like that's our move." Scott says with a sigh as he starts to climb out of the car and make his way towards the front. "Fly steady Rogue, we're going to sever the truck. Keep going up, we don't want to be near the ground when it hits." He notes and reaches out to Kitty's hand as he nears the edge of the trailer.

Rogue has posed:
"I smashed it!" Rogue says over the comms, not overly concerned, just a bit defensive. "I didn't know any other way!" She's not a trucker girl, a lot lizard or nothing of the sort! She snuck into some truck stops to use their shower stalls a few times when she was living on the road, and she got some hitch hiker rides from drivers now and then but the topic of how to detach the trailer never came up in their generally always awkward conversations!

Carrying a dinner plate with a few glasses on it isn't heavy for the average person, but its certainly wobbly and nerve-racking to one not used to doing it and this scenario is a bit similar since she knows that that Camero ontop isn't secured up there!

"We're good, we're good!" The trailer is leaning a bit to the front through as she keeps raising up higher, well over any tree tops along the ground now. The cab of the truck continues to sway back and forth, making her have to compensate quite a bit to keep it steady. "If ya disconnect it, The front'll pop up. I'll try t'keep it from making too violent of a motion though!"

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty moves with Scott, keeping her hand on the team leader as he slides forward to the edge of the trailer. She has hold of him by the belt of his uniform, plus a hand if he wants to offer that. "See if you can miss the gas tank. Wherever that is," she suggests to Scott.

Kitty holds on tight so Scott can lean out far enough to see the swaying cab when he's ready. "Get ready Rogue, this is going to change the balance. And then some," Kitty says. She glances behind her towards the Camaro. At least if it ends up sliding somewhere it's more likely to go back than forward to where she and Scott are.

She looks down at the ground below. "Oh this story is going to have them rolling when we tell it," she comments. "Alright, if we do fall Scott just hang on and I'll take care of it." He's seen her walk on air before, including with other people. And she's rarely been known to drop anyone. Right?

Cyclops has posed:
    RIGHT?!

Scott looks over the edge and frowns as he watches the cab sway back and forth as he reaches up to his glasses and slowly raises them up, just enough until a heavy huge beam shoots out of his eyes and punches through the axel with a scream as the cab is surgically removed and drops back down to the road.

Rogue has posed:
"Won't be a problem!" Rogue says back to Kitty with confidence over the team comms. She's actually flying fully beneath the trailer with it laying down across her back and down her legs, even using her head to help balance it out, not relying on just her hands like she generally does.

When the flash of red illuminates the darkness for a split second it blinds her as she was looking right in the direction of where it happened, but she just snaps her eyelids shut and looks down. A second later and she rapid blinks her eyelids in time to see the semi truck impact with the road and the resulting destruction to the truck ensue... somewhere deep inside her she'd hoped for a Michael Bay-esque explosion... but it didn't happen. Which is for the best, it'd probably make her lose balance more!

Quickly she tries to rebalance their load, to keep the top steady... all while she can see the flashing red and blues of the Police vehicles down below while they soar above them, unsure of whether they know where the trailer is or not!

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde lets out a little squeal as she feels the truck trailer start to rock backwards as it is suddenly unbalanced. At least that helps her keep Scott from flying over the edge. She moves back a few steps, trying to tow Scott with her by her grip in the waistband of his britches.

Any wedgies? Purely unintentional.

The truck trailer sways back forward as Rogue corrects the balance, this time tipping just a little bit too much that direction. Kitty's rubber-souled boots manage to keep their grip on the metallic surface.

Finally the truck trail is steady. Kitty lets go of Scott and just falls back to land on her ass. "Ok. We've fought super villains where I was less tense than that," she admits.

Kitty looks around. From up here, the night time view isn't that bad. "Wow, Rogue. We need to have you do this with the kids. Like, a hay ride. In the sky."

Cyclops has posed:
Scott almost falls backwards into Kitty, wedgie and all. The leader doesn't complain but he does fall forward when the container tips that way, his hands catching his fall with a gasp as he presses the coms again. "Rogue, are you okay down there?" Scott asks as he clears his drawers and then uses his other hand to reach out to Kitty to help her back to her feet and with a motion tells her to get back into the car.

"I'm not signing off on Rogue flying kids through the air in a broken amusement park ride. That sounds sketchy as all get out. Like this is." Scott replies as he puts his hands on the car and inches around to the door to get back in.

Rogue has posed:
The trailer is still flying, the night sky is still above them and the ground is still below them!

Rogue's voice chimes back in over the comms. "Yep." She says. "We're all good down here. There's a bar diggin' inta my back thats slightly uncomfortable, but I'm otherwise doin' just fine. Less wind down here too, I bet. Just make sure t'tell me which way to aim cause I can't see the horizon that easily without tipping ya'll, and I don't wanna do that."

There's a lake down below, Rogue can see the lights of the homes and buildings around it shimmering off of the water. "Thats where Magneto gave me his cloak, that day that that mutant boy almost killed a buncha folks." She idly comments, like they're on a X-Men Reality Tour.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde grabs her phone and pulls up a map. God bless Google Maps for when you're flying through the air on a stolen truck of killer robot parts, and you need a little help with the directions. Kitty holds the phone up to her comms unit.

"Proceed 1/2 mile and turn right on... recalculating. Recalculating. Proceed 2 miles and turn right on... recalculating. Recalculating."

Kitty's voice comes over the coms. "I think you need to veer a little bit right," she says, her voice carrying the grin she has. "I don't think it's that much further to the warehouse."

Cyclops has posed:
Scott buckles back up once in the car and then he looks over at Kitty and her phone. "No texting and driving." He teases the girl and then looks out the window and up to the skies. This is a sort of odd and familiar sensation. "Like flying the black bird... only without instruments." Scott explains to Rogue, knowing she wont agree with his statement one bit. But that's okay.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue takes the directions from Kitty and adjusts her course accordingly, she was doing surprisingly well with this all things considered! "Right. Okay... Hows this?" Rogue asks beneath the container as she turns her head side to side looking in different directions. They're high enough off the ground now that low hanging clouds are likely to be sweeping over the container and the car atop it.

"I think thi--" Rogue cuts herself off when she hears a noise, its a high pitched noise and its one of those noises that you instinctively recognize just about instantly upon hearing it.

"Meeeeew!" It comes from the underside of the container where Rogue is, just in front of her and off to her left out of arm's reach.

"Ah shit." Rogue's voice says over the comms as she looks forward and can just barely make out the form of an actual kitty's face, peering over a little metal ledge beneath the truck's underside, looking right at her.

"There's... we got a stowaway." She says over the comms, and then the cat meows again, and it likely can be heard over the comms also.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty looks up as another kitty comes over the comms unit. "Aw, who's a good pussy cat," she says back over the radio towards Rogue. "Ok, I'm on it. Hopefully I don't fall out of the trailer," she says.

Kitty looks beneath her, wondering if there are any electronics below the floor of camaro. Why take a chance, it's a nice car. Kitty opens up the door and steps out, saying, "Um, if you hear something saying 'Mutant detected' when I go in there? that's probably a -bad- thing, ok?" She glances down at the trailer. Hopefully there's nothing assembled and working in there.

Kitty pulls out a small penlight, turning it on and then she leans down, sticking the penlight and her face inside the trailer to see what is in there. She checks carefully before she'll phase on down into the trailer itself if nothing looks dangerous.

Cyclops has posed:
"How did that --- whatever, Kitty" And she's already out of the car and phasing into the trailer with a light. Scott doesn't ask how it works with her phasing, but he just accepts that it does. At least for now. Why jinx it. The sunglassed mutant sitting in the driver seat with his right foot still pressing onto the brake pedal as if it will actuall help in any way.

"Kitty be careful, Rogue, don't jolt around or anything, Kitty's coming to get it." Even though she already said that, Scott wants to help somehow.

Inside the trailer, there are a pair of yellow eyes aimed directly at Kitty's face, but they're not on, in fact it's a whole row of them on a shelf like storage system, the entire trailer is full of them, seems like a large shipment of the opticals and some other pieces near the front of the trailer.

Rogue has posed:
"Right, okay." Rogue says as she is already lowering them down out of the sky, which will make them easier to see by someone on the ground, but at least its night time.

The cat seems to be staying where it is, but its looking progressively more nervous and its likely due to Rogue being there, it seems to want to get to her because 'person'. "I think its crawled up where the exterior lights are, its probably warmer in there or something. Looks like a tool storage box... I can't tell." Its too dark. In actuality there are guns stored there, the cat was sleeping on a pile of automatic weapons!

"If those things inside'a this truck wake up, we're gonna be in a weird place. At least we're over the horsefields now though, its a lotta open space below us!"

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty says with her head inside the truck, "Well, if you did have to drop it all, not a big loss. I mean, you can fly, and I can float, so everything's ok, right?"

Beat.

"Oh. Right. Scott." Kitty breaks out in soft laughter so the team leader knows she's teasing, then gives a status report. "Ok, looks like a trailer full of optics units. As in, Sentinel eyes. Racks of Sentinel eyes. A few other pieces. Not seeing anything put together though," she says.

Kitty phases down into the trailer, then sticks her head out of the bottom to get her bearings. She makes her way up towards the spot that Rogue indicated the cat is.

Kitty looks at the weapons. "Hey, looks like a bunch of automatic weapons in here too," she says. "Ok, come here Mr. Snookums," Kitty says, reaching out to get the animal of her namesake. She gets her hand on it and phases the cat as she pulls it over to her chest. Then climbs out of the trailer and moves back over to the camaro.

Cyclops has posed:
"This has been an interesting trip." Scott says to himself before he squints, "Hey, I don't want to fall from this height please and thank you." Scott says, taping at his ear to make sure they hear him and his complaints. Scott grabs onto the steering wheel reflexively and as if it will save his life shoud the car topple over the side of the container. "Can either of you tell me if we're close or not..." Scott requests, already knowing the answer before he even asks the question.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is laid out flat against the bottom of the trailer as Kitty appears, its like if she was laying on the ground on her back with her hands up in the air and her feet apart, the most stable way she can figure to fly this much of a load across the county of Westchester. "Nice've ya t'drop in." She says to Kitty with a smirk, her white hair is easily visible in the dark, flowing around her face in the wind beneath the trailer.

The kitten isn't hard for Kitty to grab onto, it looks like its only 7 or 8 months old. It actually seems relieved to see Kitty and it mews very loudly at her, its skinny, likely hungry too.

"Don't worry, Cyclops." Rogue says. "I could dump that car off'a the top'a this thing, let the trailer go and still catch the car before it hit the ground. You'd be fiiiine." She tries to comfort the team leader, being 90% sure of herself in that.

They're down over the trees now, and in fact... they just barely miss a power line pole. Rogue's eyes go wide for a second, hoping nobody else saw that!

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty misses the power pole near-miss, her attention on the cat. She climbs back in the camaro and glances around. "Poor things looks like he hasn't eaten in forever," Kitty says. She lifts the cat up, confirming that he is indeed a 'he'. "Do you like cats, Scott?" she asks, petting the kitten on the back of the neck and offering him over to the team leader.

Kitty glances out the window and then pulls up her phone to check the location. "You're doing a great job, Rogue. Heck, I couldn't have flown this trailer... even half as far," she says in a mirthful tone.

"Looks like you're right on, the warehouse should be just ahead, probably visible in the next minute or-" Kitty's voice cuts off as her phone rings. "Hang on, let me take this."

"Hey mom. Yes, it was a good trip. Thanks for coming to New York," Kitty says into the phone. "Oh yeah, Lorna's great. And Erik... yeah, it's a nice change from the whole trying to kill me thing. What? Oh, I thought I told you about that. Oops. Well, he didn't. And, he saved my life another time. So.. I guess we're even there."

Kitty glances out the window. "Um, Mom, I'm kind of in the middle of something. Can I call you back? Ok, great. Yep, I'll give everyone your love. Thanks Mom. Ok, bye." Kitty hangs up. "Mom says hi to both of you," she says.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott takes the offered cat and holds it completely wrong, but the thing doesn't seem to rebel, at first. By the time Kitty hangs up the phone, the cat is struggling on top of Scott's hand, and he's holding it like a piece of wriggly fruit. "No." He says flatly in response to Kitty's question for a few moments before her call.

"Rogue, if you even attempt that... you're going back to the Avengers." Scott says, the tone in his voice impossible to tell if he's joking or being serious. Though Kitty would see his knuckles on the wheel as white as sheets.

Rogue has posed:
"Warehouse?" Rogue asks. "We're settin' down at a warehouse?" She is looking around down below her for any sign of one, a road leading to any such building, she cranes her neck to try to look forward impatiently too.

Over the comms she can hear Kitty's conversation with her mother and it makes her grin. "Tell'er I love'er too!" Rogue tries to get in before the conversation sounds like it was over, but it was probably too late, which makes her frown for a split second.

At Scott's words, she then shifts her expression into a smirk. "Did you not ever see the video of me catchin' an outta control helicopter over New York, Clops?" She asks him then. "I'm pretty sure catchin' a Camero fallin' lazily outta the sky would be a hellava lot easier than that was."

A turn of her neck to the left and she spots a warehouse. "I see, I think. Unless thats a barn..."

Shadowcat has posed:
The message from Rogue was totally related to Kitty's mother. "She loves you too Rogue," Kitty will relay before the call is over. "And she's going to send us a care package," Kitty adds after she's hung up. "Wow, she hasn't sent a care package since we were still in school together," Kitty says of their high school days when Rogue and Kitty were roommates. "I hope she makes the chocolate-covered Peanut Butter Crunch thing." White chocolate over the Captain Crunch peanut butter cereal. Simple, but delicious.

Kitty looks over at Scott's handling of the kitten. "Maybe I should take him back?" she offers as Scott foists the little animal awkwardly. "So, any ideas for names for this little guy?" she asks.

Kitty works her phone with the other hand. "Yeah, Rogue, warehouse, road running up to it. Fence on the east side of it, wooden. Billboard on that side too, probably lit up and easy to see," Kitty says after pulling up a Google Earth picture of the place.

Cyclops has posed:
"No. I love him." Scott says to Kitty like he was an anti-hero robot movie character from the 80's. "His name will be Scribble." That is all, but seriously, someone needs to teach Scott how to show emotion towards an animal other than holding the cat in the air like a red ribbon winning yam. He looks stiff and awkward at best.

"Should I be aware of this warehouse as well?" The mutant asks, looking towards Kitty with a curious look on his face.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue just brightly smiles at the thought of Kitty's mom care packages. One of the best things of her senior year at school at Xavier's, sadly the only year of highschool she got to spend at the place, if only she'd gotten there earlier in her life...

"I sure hope so, now that ya made me thinka that stuff, Kitty." She replies before angling them toward the warehouse in question as its fully in sight beneath them now.

"Okay, we're comin' in for a landing t'check on the cargo." She says to them both. "Keep Scribbles safe and stop holdin' him like he's radioactive, Scott." She's seen him handle animals before. He's literally the worst at it!

Its about a minute later before the trailer is set down again at the warehouse parking area, there's two orange parking lot lights on that bathe the lot in a sunset like glow.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty reaches over to Scott, encouraging his hand over to his chest. "Let him lean against you. Feel your body heat," Kitty tells him. "Pet him. Behind the ears. Gently along his neck. Just see where he reacts like he enjoy sit," she coaxes. Who says you can't teach an old Scott new tricks?

Kitty opens the door of the Camaro and climbs out to get a better view of where they are. "Ok, this should work," she says of the location. "I kind of doubt they have trackers on this stuff if it's not assembled," she says. "Though possibly on the truck trailer itself."

She looks over to Scott and asks, "So what's the plan? Just grab one or two of each of the different types of pieces and haul them back to school once we've confirmed they are safe?" she asks.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott does as Kitty orders, his hand coming to his chest and holding the thing against his heart and slowly the warmth of the kitten melts away the steel like visage of Scott. "He's not so bad." Scott whispers and then starts to open his door and stops.

"Rogue, get this car down. Please." The mutant says with a smirk as he watches Kitty crawl out without much issue as she can phase, Scott can't, and that long jump down would not be good for his legs.

"If we can yeah, one or two of each, but other than that, the plan is to torch it." Scott says, thinking that would be for the best. At least for their own sakes. X-men really never use fire like that so people wouldn't be looking for towards the X-ers.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is out from under the trailer with an armload of automatic weapons. She dumps them on the ground in a pile and then leaps up into the air to stands ontop of the trailer beside the rear back end of it. "Yep." She says then as she waits for the others to be out of the way and she moves to pick up the car then. It weighs literally nothing to her, but she tries to keep it from harming itself as she holds it out in front of her then glides down from the trailer to land on her boots in the gravel.

The car is set down, aimed out toward the driveway that comes up to the warehouse. She then turns and walks toward the back of the trailer. "So we're just trashin' everything in there?" She asks, looking between the other two. "The 'optics' or whatever?"

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty gets out her phone and says, "Well, I should probably be able to make do with this." Mental note, Kitty. Make an automated detector for others to use in such situations. Though, well, there are pitfalls to going automated.

Kitty begins working off of her phone, hacking the OS until she can get the antennae to register signals outside of the normal cell phone range. "I hope you realize, I'm totally off the school Twitter while I do this," Kitty says without looking up from the screen. "Ellie's going to think I've been killed, probably."

She goes inside the trailer, checking for signals on each different type of component in there. Once satisfied that nothing is transmitting she reboots her phone to get it back to normal and says, "Ok, I think we're good to go," she tells them. Kitty picks up a couple of components and carries them out, stashing them in the trunk of the car.

Cyclops has posed:
Scott climbs out of the car once it is on the ground and he just about drops to his knees to kiss the gravel, but he doesn't, instead he leans over and deposits the cat into the back of the car and then shuts the door to keep it from escaping. Scott then steps up to the trailer, standing next to Rogue while waiting for Kitty to come back out of the trailer. "Rogue, you're the pyro, I believe the honors are all yours." Scott says with a motion towards the trailer as soon as Kitty is out and hogging components for either research or for her own projects, Scott knows better than to waste his breath asking.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue has her hands in her jacket pockets now as she watches the other two and just lightly grins at the sight of Scribbles in the back looking out the back window at the weird hoomans and whatever it is they're doing.

She then looks to Kitty and shakes her head. "Ellie is the queen'a social media, and its rubbin' off on all'a the other students. They all stare at those damn screens way too much. Its, a bit unsettlin' if ya ask me... But, I grew up in the outdoors, in the tall grass, with the flowers'n the fresh air."

She releases a light sigh and moves to step up inside of the truck then, not needing any assistance to just lift a booted leg up to the back of the truck and step right on up into it with her hands still in her pocket, something most people couldn't do considering how high of a step that is... but she's not most people.

"Burn it?" She asks. "I don't have any gas cans, or... I mean." Her right hand comes out and motions at it all. "This stuff ain't exactly flammable..."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty nods at the mention of flammable stuff. "A hot enough fire would probably ruin it. I don't know if there's anywhere that we could drop it off a cliff and count on the fall being long enough to crush everything," she muses. "Or... a car crusher, but I doubt we could find one that could take the whole thing," Kitty says, looking at the trailer.

She considers the objects inside and says, "Or... we could move it over to some bedrock and I could phase each item, bury them in the rock?" she offers, looking back to them. "And then leave the trailer somewhere else, just to be safe? Would also make sure there's no way they could be sending out a homing signal."

Kitty looks back at the sheer amount of stuff she'll have to phase. Rogue and Scott know her well enough to tell from her expression she might think it's a daunting task. Yet she turns back and says, "That might be the surest thing?"

Cyclops has posed:
"That's your speciality Kitty, and we're not sure if you could handle something so large and precise at the same time." Scott says, looking from Kitty to Rogue and frowns, "But if you think you could do it, it would be the best... if you could just go down like... fifty feet here that should be deep enough that no one will find it till long after we're all old and dead." Scott says with a shrug.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue stares at one of them, and then the other, before she just exhales and raises her hands up to her shoulders where she takes hold of her leather trench coat by its lapels and whips it off of her shoulders. The coat is tossed out of the truck where it thuds onto the ground between the two of them, then the southern belle's right hand grabs the collar of her bodysuit and the zipper beneath its edge. A loud ziiiiiiiiiiiiip, and she's pealed it down to the utility belt around her waist, she's now pealing herself out of the suit, baring her arms, shoulders, hands, stomach and back, leaving the lycra sports top covering her decency, a little garment, like a female UFC fighter would wear.

"Ya'll better step back. Time get some'a my aggressions out." Her suit is left rumpled up around her waist and whether they speak up to try to stop her or not, she starts to just smash stuff, everything, picked up punched or crushed between her hands! Loud noises start emanating from inside of the truck as the woman with the brown and white hair goes on a rampage of crushing and crumpling.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty considers the trailer. "I would probably just them one item at a time. I mean it would take longer. But I know I can handle each item. Just a matter of whether I wear out before I make it through them all. But if it's rock so I can just go down a a foot or two, that would make it much easier than fifty feet again, and again, and..."

Kitty trails off as that zipping sound is heard. "Or Rogue could get nekkid," Kitty suggests, holding up both of her hands as she shrugs and laughs. She looks over to the Southern beauty, already having an idea what Anna-Marie has in mind.

Kitty moves over to stand beside Scott and look towards the trailer. She winces once or twice as she sees how completely some component gets ripped apart. "I think this is therapy," Kitty jokes. "I'm just wondering whose face she's picturing," Kitty adds, making sure her words for Scott are loud enough that Rogue can hear them.

Cyclops has posed:
"If I had to guess, I'd say, me, Sprial, Magneto, Remy. Pretty much anyone who's ever done something to piss her off. She's punching all of them." Scott says with a hand gesturing that he's going to go sit in the car. Why not let the young woman let out her aggression, he's going to get some time with the new school pet. Because that might actually help him.

Rogue has posed:
"Not naked!" Rogue shouts as she continues to smash stuff. "Gotta wine'n'dine me first, darlin'!" And the smashing continues! Bits and pieces of the Snetinel parts go flying out of the back of the truck, but most of it just bounces off the walls inside of it, piling up around her booted feet as she wades through it with little to no visible issues.

It continues for several more minutes before she finally comes to the back of the truck and places her hands on her hips, heaving out a heavy sigh, a sheen of sweat on her skin even in the cool night air. Rogue's left hand goes up to her hair and she runs her fingers through it, her eyes going up to the horizon, there's still hints of the sun on the horizon where it had gone down about 45 minutes ago.

"Its a nice night." Rogue then says before she drops out of the truck and goes to pick up the guns, to start smashing them and throwing them inside the truck too. Her green eyed gaze goes to Kitty then. "Can you phase a trailer'a this size down inta the ground? Nobody would ever find it then."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty looks at the truck speculatively. "I... am not sure," Kitty says. She walks over to it and touches it. Running her fingers over it a bit. "Wow it's big," she murmurs quietly under her breath.

Kitty just stands there touching it for a bit. Things don't turn ghostly when she phases them, usually, so one can't really tell if she's phasing it or not.

Though after a few moments she pulls her hand away. "I'm just not sure. And... well lets say I try and sink it a foot or two and then can't do more. It's going to be more obvious someone with powers did something to it," Kitty says. "If we want to avoid pointing a finger at us, might be better to just leave it somewhere. Or go dump it in a lake or something."

She looks back to see what they think.

Cyclops has posed:
"Rogue, why don't you pick the trailer back up, and take it out to sea. Farther north from here, I don't want anyone in the city seeing it fly over." Scott says, as he rolls the window down of the car and then holds onto the cat that's litearlly crawling up his chest. Thank goodness for thick hoodies. "Kitty, you're with me. We have to drop the car off somewhere, probably the mansion's sublevels, and then we have to go back out to get supplies for Scribbles here." Scott says with a soft wince as it keeps climbing his front.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue walks over to stand beside Kitty, she doesn't understand a thing about how that girl's mutation works, she's never touched Kitty to try it out... even for a second. Though she's admittedly curious, or at least part of her is anyway.

Scott's words make her look in his direction and she offers a slight nod toward him. "It shall be done, my lord." She says to him in as best of a medieval'esque voice as she can muster.

She closes the truck up and moves to the back of it to lift it up off the ground, all the stuff inside it can be heard violently rolling around and slapping into the walls. As she holds the truck up like this she starts to walk with it, it doesn't even look like it strains her in the slightest!

"Make sure ya do a full vet scan on it in the medical lab too." She tells Scott. "Scribbles that is. Stray cats come loaded with weird diseases and worms! Its nasty stuff! And bathe the poor thing, it probably has fleas!"

And with that said, she shoots off into the sky.
