Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Flash, 170

Flash has posed:
It's been a while since Barry came across that new speedster. Having been busy with his own work within the CCPD as well as League business he hasn't had the chance to run by and check up on her either, and that hasn't sat well with him. Today, he made a mental note to do just that, and dressed in his scarlet garb the Flash uses the Watchtower's computers to make a guesstimate, and makes a red trail towards where the new speedster was last sighted, hoping to get lucky and pick up a trail.

Eva (170) has posed:
Today, Eva is out and about. She's doing a little shopping. Sometimes even ex-hunters needs to resupply. Currently she is exiting a strange shop with a funky mark in the window. She has a bag loaded down with some of the more obsure things that she might need. Walking to her new car, a 69 Olds 442 Convertable, She pops the trunk. Inside are a plethora of things that she has gotten today. Several books from her safe house, 5 50lb bags of rock salt, some shotgun shells, some junk silver jewelry, and even few pure, wrought iron posts.

Flash has posed:
It's unfortunate that The Flash can't be inconspicuous when he runs around. True, he can move so fast that visually you wouldn't see him, but the wave of wind he leaves behind is a dad giveaway. Still, the Scarlet Speedster does his best to be at least a little bit on the inconspicuous side as he does a methodical search pattern of the last known location of the newest speedster on his radar.

It doesn't take to long, nothing does when you can run as fast as he can. Finally he spots Eva on one of his passes, slipping a note right onto the top of the items in the bag that says to meet him about a mile outside of town when she has the chance, drawing attention to the note with a spark of static discharge.

Eva (170) has posed:
Something gets Eva's attention. Its more of a feeling then anything else. Then there is that note that appears. Its quick. She does catch sight of a scarlet blur that goes flying by. She glances at it and smiles. Quickly she finishes loading the car and slams the trunk closed. Then... in an explosion of speed, she's gone. Seconds later she is outside of town not far from the Flash.

Eva smiles, "Hey Flash. Good to see you. Its been a while." She crosses her arms, looking a bit more heroic then she did before. "How are you doing?"

Flash has posed:
Fhas nods, "It has, which is why I came to check up on you. Sorry I haven't been by sooner. Even as fast as we are, sometimes there just seems there is no time in the day." He offers a little chuckle, and leans himself against a tree, folding his own arms over his chest, and relaxingly crossing one ankle over another to boot.

"So, how have you been? Looks like your control is going well. I noticed the contents of your trunk...still 'working'?" His brow cocks, "Unless you are making a ton of ice cream from scratch with that much rock salt."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles to the Flash. "I understand that all too well. I mean, sure I can move a lot faster now and I think I'm getting faster. I've been doing my best to keep at a steady pace. Sadly that hasn't curbed my appetite. Thankfully though, I found a job!"

She smiles a little. "Oh yeah. I am doing my best to keep out of it. That doesn't mean there aren't a thousand things that want to pull me back in. Plus all of that stuff isn't for just me. Its for my job." She smirks. "I've been brought in as a teacher specialist."

Flash has posed:
Flash arches a brow. "A teacher? What are you teaching?" He grins, and pushes away from the tree, starting to pace around. Can't stand still for very long, apparently. "Teaching is good. The world needs more teachers."

He chuckles, "Yeah the increased metabolism is a bear. Half my budget goes to food. My advice is high calorie, high carb."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles a little, "Supernatural Studies. I get to help young powered individual face things that they've never given a second thought about. Its really kinda interesting. One's already presented me a problem that I've never even heard of. I have a few ideas on dealing with it but, If I act on one of them it will likely kill some people. I'd rather not do that but... Monsters don't exactly give much choice sometimes."

She snickers, "Yeah. Thankfully the place I am staying deals with plenty of powered individuals who have special food requirements so, That helps!"

Flash has posed:
Flash cocks his head to the side, "Supernatural studies? I wasn't aware that was now part of the curriculum anywhere. Where is it you are teaching at?"

His smile turns into a frown when she starts to talk about killing people, "Something that kills anyone is not an acceptable solution. If you need help finding another strategy, then please let me help. If I can't, I am sure I can find someone who can."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles, "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Turns out some of the people there could use the information I spent almost a decade learning. Its something that can save lives."

Then the killing conversation arises. Eva frowns and shakes her head. "I'm not speaking of people sadly. I can not view them as such. They are part demon. Humns who were specifically bred to be murderous entities. They want to eliminate one of my students. Flash, I can not view them as human. If they had that demon part and they actually fought it and were trying to live a normal life... I'd see them as human. These people aren't. They are acting like monsters and I hunt monsters. Even so, I am looking for other options. I've put the word out to other hunters for information concerning this sort of thing. So far nothing has come back. I would say exorcise them but they aren't full demons. It would essentially rip them apart."

Flash has posed:
Flash crosses his arms over his chest. "I've fought monsters before, but I've never killed any of them." he states quietly. "Now I will admit I don't know the first thing about demons, but I can't accept that the only way to deal with them is to kill them." He shakes his head, "I just don't know about that, Eva."

He sighs, pacing again, "Xavier's...I think I have heard of that place. Sounds like you have found a good place to call home at least. And it gives me a place to come find you for future visits." he says with a slight smile.

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva frowns, "Flash, There is a reason I want out of that life. Its very bloody. I have put an end to more monsters then I care to count. Even recently I had to. Its not something I enjoy. I do it because, Its what I know how to do. I avoid bloodshed where I can but things like Vampires, Werewolves, Shifters, and other monsters... I can't justify giving them a slap on the hand and letting them continue."

She smiles, "Yes. I like it there. Its a nice place. Plus I think I could learn about using my speed there. Maybe there is a way out of all of this."

Flash has posed:
Flash sighs, lifting a hand palm up in surrender. "I didn't come here to get into a argument about the right and wrong of things. I can only make my own personal position clear. You obviously have more experience in those type of situations that I do."

He shrugs a shoulder, lowering his hand. "So tell me about this school. The curriculum must be rather unique to have 'Monster Hunting 101' on the schedule. How many students do you have?"

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva frowns, "I'm sorry. Its just... In some ways I've become something I really don't like and my only relief is the knowledge that by doing the things I've done, I've saved lives. I can't even say it helps me sleep better at night, I have nightmares constantly."

She sighs. Finally she shakes it all off and then continues, "Well, Its summer so there are summer classes but a lot of the students are just wanting to worship the sun and stuff. Right now, I have two who are interested in the class. And thankfully its not called Monster hunting. Just Supernatural studies. I'm not going to teach how to hunt. I'm going to teach how to defend themselves against that sort of thing. I don't want them actively seeking things out. I don't want anyone in the life I grew up in."

Flash has posed:
A small chuckle escapes from the Scarlet Speedster's lips, "I was paraphrasing the title of the class, but I am glad to hear that it isn't actually about hunting down these things. It would worry me if there was a school that was actively teaching to go out and hunt, given what you have told me of the lifestyle."

He walks back over to the tree and leans against it once more, "I'm glad you landed on your feet. Having something like the life of a speedster shoved on you can be disorienting at best, so having a stable base as you get your feet under you is a wonderful step. Perhaps you can give me a tour sometime. It sounds like an interesting place...I mean, that is if they won't mind someone like me on campus."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva laughs, "Well they let me on campus and I've already shown I can move pretty quick. I don't think they'd mind. Heck they'd probably ask you to guest speak. One thing is certain, I never thought I'd be crashing at one of the richest parts of the country. Its nuts up there. And yeah no. I don't want people being forced into the life. Its one thing to push people towards that nightmare. Its another to teach them to be ready for the world they could encounter and it may even save their lives."

She stretches and Twists a few times to crack her back. "It is really odd though. Going from no name hunter who scams credit cards and hustles pool to get by to being a respectable teacher and bringing in a legit pay check."

Flash has posed:
"I'll have to take your word on it." says The Flash with a slight grin, "I've always had a legit paycheck for my day job." He grins, "Not that it pays much, but I make due. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you make more money than I do by being a teacher at a private school in Westchester."

"A guest speaker, huh? I suppose I could d that, though I am not sure what I could lecture on. The effect of the Speed Force? I mean, I am not even sure I know what that is, and I am probably the expert."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles, "You are an expert on using your powers to make a positive difference in the world. That could be a good topic. I'm hoping to maybe broaden my horizons. I want to do the hero thing. Maybe actually do it without the whole... messy business I've done in the past. If I can, it would be great."

She thinks to herself, "There were perks. I mean, I crossed the country a few times. I got to see a few tourist traps, The worlds second largest ball of twine?" She laughs over that one. "I was often alone though. Hunting alone is sorta dangerous and very freaky. When you hunt with others, you have someone who can pull you out of the fire. When you hunt alone.... you are facing down things and only have your wits."

Flash has posed:
Flash laughs, "Yeah, but now you can cross country as often as you want and it won't take you nearly as long as traveling by car. But I hear you on the lonely thing. Sounds like it was a rough life. At least that part is past you now, and you have people you can turn to."

He thinks about it for a moment, and shrugs a shoulder, "Using powers to make a positive difference. I like it! Maybe I should be a guest lecturer. Obviously you would have to run it past your faculty."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva nods, "I will talk to Professor Xavier and some of the others there. I am pretty sure they will be willing. I know I will need to make sure everything is cleared. From what I seen, they do keep tight security to keep the kids safe."

She snickers, "Yes I can. I still needed a vehicle. I recently bought an old one I am thinking I am going to restore a little. Its a fast car but, I can go faster." She laughs. "I got that to haul things mostly. Better to do that then make a bunch of trips right?"

Flash has posed:
Flash nods with a laugh, "That is the one downfall. I can cross the globe multiple times a second, if I really want to, but trying to carry anything becomes problematic. Believe it or not, when I am not out superheroing, I have a car as well. Can't really lug groceries around like this."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smirks. "I figured if I am going to only use the car for carrying stuff, I may as well get a fast one. An Old 442? Oh yeah. Gas Guzzler but geez does that thing have power. Plus lots of trunk space. Thats always a perk even for Ex Hunters. Never know when you're going to need it." She giggle.s

Flash has posed:
Flash chuckles. "Would you believe I drive a Prius?" The fastest man alive shakes his head, "Hybrid and everything. I think it's top speed if I push it is around 120...maybe. If I am lucky, but I never drive that fast."

He pushes himself off the tree again and stretches, joints popping as they realign. "I think I gave you my number before, didn't I?"

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva already has her phone out. She's moving then the technology permits to be honest. She finds it and nods, "Yes I have it!" She smiles a little. "I would hate to think about running 250 pounds of rock salt to school. That would tire me out a bit for about 5 minutes." She jests . "So I think maybe I should get back. I iwll keep in touch though!"

Flash has posed:
Flash chuckles, "Yeah, but it would be one hell of a workout. You could develop that upper body strength."

The Flash nods with a smile, "Alright, Eva. Don't let me keep you. I just wanted to check up on you and see how you were acclimating, and it seems like you are doing quite well. I will hope to hear from you about the speaking engagement."
