Synopsis: Freddy takes a friend home
Cast of Characters: Captain Marvel Jr., Mon-El

Captain Marvel Jr. has posed:
It is plain this alien is too used to linear thinking, and too stubborn to admit there are things he can not understand, like the existance of spirits. That is the problem with people too strongly rooted in science. Well Freddy can be stubbort also, but he does see the point. The criminal needs to be caught, but Freddy can not let the child be destroyed in doing so. He can see only a few ways to do this...well try the direct route. He is willing to be they have a tracker on Proteus-1, so...

Freddy surrounds himself with a fiery aura and then steps through the flames into the temple. He says, "Come child, let me ake you to your father, some place far away from the angry young man." He will take Proteus-1 in his hand (after dismissing the aura) and feel where the creature wants to go. He will then step out of space and time here, to return there. He will be very careful though, the criminal might try to destroy Proteus, Freddy has to be sure that does not happen while waiting for the alien to arrive (however long that takes).

Mon-El has posed:
Home...Proteus-1 wants to go home....so Pantheon will find himself whisked across deep space to land on some kind of platform suspended between a number of sharp stone formations that make up a canyon bigger than those even on Mars. The formations reach so far up into the sky that the ground below is obscured by a thick cloud of fog.

On the platform is a sort of multi-tiered makeshift looking structure, almost like a treehouse, but it is oddly stable for how it looked.

But where there used to be doors and windows are only empty frames, and the house is severely damaged and looks like it has been abandoned for a while. There is a bunch of equipment that looks like it was meant for various chemistry experiments, also very broken and scattered about. Furniture turned over and broken to pieces in several places. Part of the roof is also caved in.

The small mechanoid hurries inside, but is distressed to find things in the state they are in. And no sign of its master, either.

Captain Marvel Jr. has posed:
Freddy looks about, but unless there are any obvious clues like books or something he will have to try persuasion, "It looks like this would not be a safe place for your father to come to, they already found him here. He would need some place safer, a place no one but you would come looking."

The powers he has have some interesting aspects...for example the fires of H'ronmeer let him learn quickly while the boldness of Apanel makes him intuitive. If his powers can tell him anything, he will listen to them.

Mon-El has posed:
It really looks like the guy was here recently, but was either killed or fled as a result of an attack. And a pretty fierce attack, at that. There are some very prominent scratch marks on the walls and floors. And even the ceiling, too for that matter. Definitely evidence of one hell of a struggle.

Proteus-1 seems to recognize Freddy's advice, but doesn't seem to know what to do or where to go from here. Any connection he has to the powers that let him feel others' emotions would indicate that it is becoming more and more distraught. It moves from broken terminal to broken terminal, trying to find something, anything that it could use to find out what happened, but none of it seems to work at all.

To make matters worse, there is another distinct popping sound, signalling the arrival of the Daxamite. He lands on the roof of the structure, shaking it significantly as he peers down at them through a large hole. "Listen, whoever you are, we're not going to destroy your new little friend okay? We're just going to access its memory banks. Kant needs to be apprehended, you understand that much at least, don't you?"

Captain Marvel Jr. has posed:
Freddy responds, "I understand the situation quite well. On Earth, we have a show called Star Trek, in one episode an Android named Data was being ordered to allow scientists to shut him down and study him so that they might learn how he was made. He lacked emotions, but was uncertain if, were they to shut him down and reboot him, his personality would remain intact. I can tell you this much, it does not know where Kant is in the readily accessible parts of its memory. If you are going to study it, I will need to be there so Apanel can be sure it remains in this incarnation."

Mon-El has posed:
"I -said-, access its memory banks, not shut it down or whatever!" Lar repeats himself, rolling his eyes with a sigh. "Don't you think that if I had sinister intentions or whatever, I would've attacked you by now?"

He frowns, examining the damage to the building as he floats down into it through the hole. "Grife, looks like he was attacked by someone," he mutters. "or someTHING."

Suddenly, there is a high-pitched screech from the skies above. Far enough away that one would need enhanced hearing to detect it. Lar freezes, his eyes widening. "Oh, grife..."
