Kid has posed:
    And it is SPRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING! Sure it no heat wave, but the snow has been melting for weeks now. The weather has warmed up considerably, so much so, simple sweaters or jackets where enough to ward off the cold if needed. It was late after noon though. Most people are or are about to get out of work. Cars loudly driving by. Hordes of new yorkers traveling in droves across streets when given the chance. The sea of people was all at once loud and oboxniouse, but happy and excited. A mix of things the city has to offer.

And it is this mix that makes the city bearable for some. He didn't drown in one emotion, when he felt many. Kid was out and about. Strange cobbles togeather headphones on his head, with a angry gorilla roaring. A plain large hoodie, shorts and a pair of sandles hanging around his neck (for reasons). Even in the crowded street Kid was given enough room, and still turned heads. Not that he seemed to notice.

For today he was forging ahead, deciding that, he'll try for -once- not to be cranky, and see if perhaps he might find someone in need of help. Or a talk...or who knows what. He honestly didn't know, he was just letting the waves of emotions carry him forward to whoever they might.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse is busy.. but when you have all the (perspective) time in the world you gotta keep busy! Today the Scarlet Samaritan. Aka Zippy (yes it's a horrible codename, but he's a kid!) is doing something new today.. in flashes of blood red and bronze gold lightning, the speedster is cleaning up the city!.. Literally.. he's filled the last 5 dumpsters he's come across with all the refuse that's found its way onto the city streets.

At times he pauses though, like right now, a busker on the corner of a street is playing music on a guitar, a small solar powered amp hanging off her hip, the teens head bobbing in time to the music.

Nyx has posed:
It is definitely warmer which is good. It definitely is a little bit chilly still though.

Which is why Sam is wearing a military SHIELD issued jacket over her uniform. It is middle of the week though so she is still in her fatigues and not a civies outfit. I mean the Triskelion is just right over yonder over the big long bridge.

So far Sam has not noticed the giant gorilla headed this way, mostly because she ran into Zippy first, bright costume and all and standing still closer to her.

From behind him Sam asks "Hey Zippy, what's the haps."

Kid has posed:
     Well one things need to another. Kid keeps on going, letting the draw pull him. Something felt...familiar, but he wasn't sure why. Oh? Was that musci? Nevermind! Kid is drawn that way, never getting rid of that...sensation.

And as it turns out, for a massive gorilla, he is scareily light on his feet. His shadow would give him away more than anything else as he ends up behind Sam and Zippy as it where. He was peering down at them...he pretty sure he met Sam...but from where? And...wait.. he was REALLY peering at Zippy now.

He was about to comment how Zippy looked dumb...but paused. He thought about and than he signs, a bracer on his wrist making a male synthetic voice "Heh. This fella got some good turns eh?" he smiles. Correction, he attempts to smile. It may come off a bit more....mean than he intends. Good thing the busker was really into his music!

Impulse has posed:
Impulse beams to Nyx "Hey You! I didn't get your name! Miss Spy!" he says with a grin. "Just listening to this guy, he's like, super schway.. " he says the teen speedster reaching into the satchel on his side to pull out a hundred dollar bill to bend down and place in the open guitar case infront of the busker.

Then the electronic voice goes off getting his attention and he sees the gorilla "AHH! Gorilla Grodd!" Impulse exclaims having read stories about his grandfather fighting the rilla he mistakes Kid for. "Spy girl! Call shield!" he says as with a yelp the busker is suddenly whisked away, the guitar case vanishing a second later before Impulse returns. "Can't beat my grandpa so you wanna come after me monkey boy?!" he asks his voice nervous and full of false bravado..

Nyx has posed:
Sam has definitely met Kid before, though it was under very poor circumstances. Robbery. Assault. Property Damage. Kidnapping. Nearly shooting Kid and Wonder Woman.

Sam only did some of that, some was actually inflicted on Sam. Funny story.

To Impulse. "Zips... you can call me Sam I guess." and then Kid speaks up and that synthed voice sounds pretty familiar. On the bright side she isn't throwing an ATM at Kid this time when she spins half around wide eyed. "Woah... ack..." when Zippy does his thing with the Busker and then confronts Kid.

"Uh.. this does not need to get violent!" and Sam hopes that is true, also from the front it is easy to recognize the teenager from before.

Kid has posed:
    Needlessly to say, Zippies panic gets SOME heads turning and people looking. As for Kid he just thinking 'You must be kidding me'. The one time he -trying- to be nice, and this is happening. His first instinct is to growl his hands balling into fists...before unballing.

And than he sees...Sam. This just got alot more interesting. But on the bright side, at the very least, Sam was looking for peace and Kid is (much to his difficulty) gonna tyr to comply with her statement.

He begins to sign "...The hell is wrong with you? Do I look like Grodd?" notably, unlike a normal gorilla, he has greyish-green skin (but normal fur for the most part). "And secondly...uh, no clue who your old man is, or your deal wit Grodd, don't much care. Bit uh, you do know the dude can like just walk into the Embassy down the street no problem right?" he even thumbs towards the embassy. It has been awhile since Grodd had come out as ruler of Gorilla city and all that. Diplomatic halabaloo and all that.

"Now if your done acting like an idiote" his eyes turn on Sam in particular "...last time I met you, you almost blew my head off. Hows that going?" he actually chuckled at the memory. He didn't seem particular upset about it...that or was really really trying to keep his cool. Hard to say.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse just looks... well.. Confused.. "Wait.. You're not Gorilla Grodd? There's more than one talking gorilla?" he says to Kid, turning to look at Sam "He's not? He's telling the truth? Did he do something bad that you had to hunt after him, or did shield like.. send you on a morally corrupt kill mission and you managed to turn events in a way to not have to kill an innocent man? Well Gorilla.. Gorilla Man?" he asks in rapid fire. Depending on how acute Kid's telepathy is, all he's going to get off of Impulse right now is a buzz of emotions flitting one way and the next. If it weren't for his coherency one might think he was suffering from mental illness that had his emotions and personality going all over the place..

Nyx has posed:
Sam just groans lightly caught between Kid's humor at the ATM incident and then Zippy's slew of questions all rapid fire like that. She rubs her face and then takes a slight step back from both of them now. Not running though just looking unsure what to do about all this, again.

"Well... uh.. sorry about that. I'm glad you didn't get hit. It was an accident. Hell .. I didn't even know I could do that really at the time." she sees quite sheepish and then looks to Impulse. "I ... um..accidentally almost shot him and Wonder Woman." a bit of a shrug then she looks back to Kid. "I'm with SHIELD now..."

Kid has posed:
Kid grunts and signs "SHIELD Eh? Eh, good on you....I think. I really don't know much about them" he shrugs. "But must be grades better then what you were doing. Though I still walk the streets myself." alright, not bad not bad. Keep it friendly.
    Which wasn't easy as he felt Zippy emotions going everywhere. His eyes screw togeather as he growls and signs to Zippy "Get a damn hold of yourself. Good greif. And normally crowds are easy to deal with" this heros emotions were going so fast it may as well been the titanic of emotions. He continues "In order. No I am not Grodd. Yes there is more than one talking gorilla - was a surprise to me too. Infact there an entire city. Yes, I done bad things, no she wasn't sent to hunt me. Are meet up was by luck. I am not a gorilla man, I am a gorilla. Teenager actually. And the name is Jua...or Kid. One of the other" he had rapid fire sign, his watch still translating for several moments after.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse tilts his head and watches Kid.. and watches kid.. his emotions stopping the swaying back and forth they were doing, and just turning into general excitement! "Neat! an entire sapient species that co-evolved with Humanity! Huh.. I wonder where they are back home, I never heard of them.. OR maybe some mad scientist made them with a sapience ray or something! Where's Gorilla City? I wanna go there!" he says, his tone giving the impression, that if told, he'll probably go there /right now/

Then what Sam just said sinks in and he starts to talk while Kid's translator is catching up his emotions swinging towards the concerned.. "wait.. You almost killed Wonder Woman? Gideon says that SHIELD'S the good guys.. or reported to be good guys in this era.. You're not like.. super villians are you? I don't think my grandpa would want me hanging out wi..." he stops mid sentence turning back to Kid.. "Hey.. Gideon can upgrade your vox if you want, it'll be faster, be able to keep up with your signing faster.. well.. not like all the time, but it'll be able to keep up while I'm around." he offers Kid..

Nyx has posed:
"I am not a supervillain Zippy.... I it was an accident like I said. They scared me and hwne I fell over I blasted in their direction. I didn't even know I could do that. Total accident." and Sam trails off defending herself. "Also yes SHIELD are the good guys."

Then Sam looks back to Kid and nods. "I am doing quite good.. we don't need to really dwell on the whole thing with the ATMs.. I hope."

Kid has posed:
     Kid shrugs lightly and signs "Hey no judgement." in regards to Sam and her situation. But than he stareing at Zippy. His eyes scrunch up into anger...infact he almost seemed to radiat it as he signs "Touch my watch and I will rip your head off" he than held it close to him as if it was very valuble to him, he held it like one would a picture of a very close relative they were no longer with. His canines bared, fur standing on end...needless to say people backed the hell up.

He shakes himself out of it, as if his temper was something he knew he had a problem with. He signs "Ahem...sorry...git bit of a temper....still no touch watch. Bit Gideon sounds cool, maybe see it...wait.." a double checking pause "...you from the future?" his eyes suddenly widen and he in this moment mirrors the excitement that Zippy had when he found out about Gorilla city. "Oh hell, please tell me that isn't a joke...."

And then everything goes to hell. Zippy speed might see it in slow-mo. And Perhaps depending on how sensitive Sam's technopathy is, might sense the shift in electronics. But the busy streets of this rush hour become a calamity of crunching metal, as red-lights and green lights glitch out wrong. The cars begin to pile, while others try to swerve out of the way, heading towards people. Lightpoles were going down....and within seconds the area was becomming a Dirty Derby Gone Wrong.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse /does/ see the start of the chain reaction of wreckage.. just not the cause.. "ohhjinkies!" he says barely understandable "maybecallshieldnowbackinabit!" he says and with a thunderous snap of inrushing air filling in the space he was in just a moment before Impulse is running. First the people on the sidewalk in the path of oncoming steel and rubber are going to be taken care of, Gideon already using her cellular connection to start contacting local emergency services while the teen speedster works on saving lives..

Nyx has posed:
"Everyone keep cool.. no one is stealing anyone's watches right.. " the right is said while Sam is looking right at Impulse. Right.

Then all hell starts to break oose down the way, and yes it does catch Samantha's attention, though Nyx is the one with situational awareness not Sam.

"Well shit." is what Samantha mutters now, no jinkies from this teenager. "Zippy... go find out what is going on down there for us will you?" she looks worried and then carefully steps over and touches a street light trying to figure out what is going on in the light system.

Kid has posed:
    They happened to be in one of the older parts of town, where some systems have yet to be updated. As Sam looks through the Light System - she would discover there was a hiccup, a glitch in the system. Considering this particular areas history, car crashes where not unknown, but at this scale was rare none the less. Still, if the system wasn't fixed this was bound to happen again.

As for Zippy, may speed stay with him, because he has presented several people, including families with children from getting pasted into buildings. Holds have popped up, a full cars had flipped onto their side. And the cars were still comming but thankfully slowing. But as Zippy zips around, he would notice that a an eletric pole was about to fall onto a van. And the smell of Gasoline was begining to fill the air.With this much chaos, even emergency officials would have trouble getting here.

As for Kid, he let out an angry snarl...he hated feeling all this. It drove him crazy. But like the others, he didn't stand around and do nothing. He barrels over to a few downed cars, and begins tearing doors open...or breaking glass, which ever got him inside. He would pull out people to begin passing to others. Some where fine, but others were knocked out.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse is one man.. one teen really, and even when you're as fast as The Flash.. (side note.. Zippy isn't but he won't admit it) you still can only be in so many places at the same time.. pushing himself he tries to get just a little more speed, focusing a little less on counteracting the side effects of moving at the speed he does, the wind picking up randomly and chaoticly..

"Gideon, what do I do.. I can get the cable, but those kids..." he says, the computer not having any good courses of action. "Run Bart, Run.." is all she can give him as he strains himself, letting out a yell as something inside him breaks, and where one zippy was, there's now six?!

Nyx has posed:
Samantha removes her hand from the traffic light pole. Well at least it doesn't seem to be some sort of supervillain, well hopefully at least.

Then she squints and stares down the way, with eagle accurate vision "Oh crap..." she puts her hand back on the lightpole and Samantha reaches out and flips the switch just cutting the power to that block. It isn't ideal but it will stop the wrong light from signaling and should also prevent people from being electrocuted... right? Maybe?

Kid has posed:
The efforts of both Sam and Zippy are apply rewarded. The six clones manage to split up saving several Kids from getting squished, either from being blocked into a car, or just terror rendering them unable to move. Though it did nothing to stop the falling pole.

But thankfully Samantha quick thinking saves the day here too. What would normally be live wire flailing apart, igniting sparks, was now nothing more than harmless cables. Preventing electrocutions and and fires both!

Kid himself, begins using his telepathy a bit more actively. Mainly to get people to get out of the way. Using his powers of suggestions to get the crowd more organized to help out more people, in order to lesson possible injuries. But it was alot of minds to try and direct...and not all suggestions took root. But it was better than nothing

In the distance, people have clear the sides of the roads where they could. Police and Paramedics where begining to move in. To try and get to those affected.

Nyx has posed:
Samantha removes her hand one more time from the pole now and looks a bit concerned down the street, scanning everything. Blinking a couple of times as a HUD overlay appears in her vision analyzing the risks and the danger to herself and everyone down there. "I uh... huh... okay." she blinks and it is gone, did she imagine that.

"I think... things are under control and the authorities seem to be thankfully arriving." and there is a pause from Sam "Good job guys!"

Impulse has posed:
Impulse and his five clones all come to a stop surrounding both kid and Nyx. "That was awesome!" they all say in unison.. "wellnotawesomesomuchascompletelyandutterlyterrifyingbutnobodygottoobadly hurt.. Imean.. wellthere'sthatoneguywithabrokenarmandanotherthatgotacoupleofbrokenlegs! Butnobodydied!" they all say not really realizing that they're harmonizing or making as much of a racket as they are.. Oddly enough, Kid only feels the emotions of The original the 5 clones obviously not him..

Kid has posed:
That was more a relief than anything. One Zippy was enough. But he was obviously quite annoyed with the extream speed talk and the unision of voices. The clones themselves did not bother him. He signs "ONE AT A TIME!" his synthetic voice getting quite loud. He shakes himself off in irritation. Though the way Kid moved his limbs and checked over them, it almost as if he had injuries himself - they replicated some of the actions many of the victems where doing.

But than Sam mentions the authorities. And he let out another growl signing "Welp, time to make myself scarce. Cause dere gonna be questions and I do not want to be getting asked." he makes his way towards an alleyway to avoid the police.

But as goes to move away. Other people come up to thank Zippy mainly, as they do not know/realize what it was that Sam did, as important as it was to their safety.

Nyx has posed:
"Bye Kid." she remembered his name, yes Sam did indeed. She is actually proud of that.

"Okay well uh.. Zippy you .. take care of that..." she gestures a bit to all of the people thanking Zippy and the authorities coming to talk to him.

Realistically yeah Sam didn't do anything obvious and frankly she is avoiding explaining what she did do. Because she is under a no hacking order from her Agent Handler at SHIELD and doesn't want to get in trouble. "See you later Zippy." turning to try to blend into the chaos and head back to SHIELD now.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse and his duplicates start talking to people, shaking hands, taking selvies.. "huh? ohh.. ok.. I'll talk to the paramedics and what all." he says his clones suddenly vanishing a little bit later. He'll let folks know what happened and help where he can..
