Let's Go Fly A Kite
Date of Scene: 30 May 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Gravitas, Superwoman

Gravitas has posed:
"So I was thinking... Have you been to the moon yet? I mean, I know you can go there whenever. But have you gone up there and looked around...?" There's not a particular setting now. The two are in the sky, above where the clouds can be differentiated from the ground, where the air is thinner and the blue of the atmosphere thins toward gray while somehow being morevivid for how close it is.

"I packed us dinner again, in case you want to go?" Victoria is nulways that earnest girl, really. Gravitas or not. She affixes her companion with a wide-eyed expression and a quiet smile. "Even if you have gone. Tobe honest, I -um. I don't really go to space alone, just in case." She shrugs her shoulders at that, rolling them dedlicately.

"Demetrius would love to hang out with Damaris again by the way," the girl adds with an insouciant grin. "Actually, all the littles are clamouring to meet you now. Dufus went home and told everyone about you. Siblings." She rolls her eyes but it's obvious Tori is incapable of bearing the "littles" any ill will over the affair.

Superwoman has posed:
In the sky as they are Faora is wearing the mantle of Superwoman- dressed for the part as she looks up towards the sky. "I've not been to the moon, no." Faora replies, "I've been focusing on my terrestrial pursuits." she admits as the pair float around in the cold of the atmosphere.

"Space is a dangerous place. I've piloted fighter craft through the void of space- its not a particularly welcoming environment." Faora admits, as she looks up towards the moon- easily spied from this height. "There's an odd blue tint to one section of the moon.

"I'm not sure I'm good company for children." Faora says then, "I'm not particularly comfortable around them. I expect a bit too much, I think." She changes direction to continue up towards the Moon.

Gravitas has posed:
"I didn't say you should hang out with them," Tori responds helpfully. She is, of course, dressed as Gravitas. With a picnic basket in hand. She never uses her powers to float small objects around. Not even people. "Just that pople think you are cool and want to meet you."

Tori reaches for Faora's hand, as she so often does, and turns her gaze upward toward the moon, those blue eyes of hers thoughtful while she studies it. "Anyway, don't worry. S'not the void of space. The area between the moon and earth is well-traveled. It should be fine! I don't think either of us is likely to be harmed by a micrometeoroid."

Now the girl is floating upward, fairly slowly. "But see? It's dangerous, at least in theory. So you should come and keep me safe!" That smile of Tori's is ever present as she suggests this. She doesn't seem to be getting cold, for whatever reason. Then again Tori's interaction with reality is always somewhat suspect.

"I know it won't be special to you, because you've already been to space and seen the world, but..." Victoria takes a deep breath. "Please?" A beat. "Besides, there's lots of open space on the moon if we wanted to toss giant rocks around and things. I don't know. Just an i-de-a!" Tori's laughing now. And picking up speed a bit.

Superwoman has posed:
"I'm just letting you know." Faora states as they continue towards the moon, up through the atmosphere. Here, they can't speak. The quiet is there. The cold. The wideness and openness of space. Hand in hand, Faora flies with Victoria towards that distant rock- speeding up to make the journey only last a few minutes instead of the hours it might take for them to fly using typical human means.

Gravitas has posed:
Then the bubble forms. That's a palpable notion, the sensation of air rushing over them both as it is scooped up and literally formed around the pair in a sphere. Ten feet. It's a visible thing, if just a shimmer, for the fact that beyond it is blackness and nothing. Tori can breathe. Faora can even breathe, if she prefers. Breath means speech. Despite this the girl chooses to maintain the silence. The biggest indicator of the change is the gasp she breathes as the moon is coming closer.

It is apparently no trouble for Tori to match this speed as Faora accelerates them through space. She is gawking at everything. Even the International Space Station. At least she isn't rambling incessantly about it all.
