Synopsis: Black Adam meets the new (to him) Head of The Demon
Cast of Characters: Black Adam, Ra's al-Ghul

Black Adam has posed:
It's mid afternoon in Nanda Parbat when the black cloaked figure appeared out of the sky. a chained and gagged man in League armor and gear unconscious and hanging limply from one hand. He neither tries to hide himself, nor obfuscate his intended destination, the various guards and scouts able to see him as he flies, slow enough to not have his cargo be killed, but that's the only consession to the frailty of the human in his hands.

Ra's al-Ghul has posed:
Normally, any invader would be met with the full force of the League, but Black Adam isn't precisely hard to recognize, regardless of however he cloaks himself. The capture of the assassin in question isn't entirely a surprise either - Ra's always has watchers on watchers, keeping close track of those who are sent to do his bidding. He is paranoid, yes, and overcareful, but he is also nearly a millenium old and he has earned the right to be careful.

The guards part and let Adam into the depths of the fortress, a bowing servant just outside the great doors, shirtless and adorned with chains of gold.

"Greetings to you, mighty one. My lord is expecting you." he says guilelessly, gesturing towards the doors as they open to allow you into the court of Ra's Al-Ghul.

Black Adam has posed:
"I know the way." Black Adam says with confidence his grip on the chest armor of the assassin causing the man's legs to drag on the floor as if he were a breifcase, or some other form of luggage. Making his way through the ancient stone halls Black Adam is soon entering the meeting chamber the unconcious assassin being unceremoniously dropped on the floor of the room. "Ra's Al-Ghul, there is a discussion we need to have if you hold any concern for your assassins and their missions." he states arrogantly.

Ra's al-Ghul has posed:
Ra's al-Ghul sits on an oversized chair, the torches in the room casting a relatively eerie light over him. Not that he has any epxectation of intimidating or spooking Teth-Adam. It's simply part and parcel of the who he is.

"I have many concerns, your highness. I do thank you for your help with quality control. This one's incompetence would've been weeded out eventually, but you did so with a great deal of...panache," he says, the corner of his mouth curling in a smile. "I take it you've come to threaten me in some fashion?"

Black Adam has posed:
Black Adam quirks a brow, as he drops the last few inches to the ground. "Of a sorts. " he states seemingly unconcerned with where he is. "My country is a country of Honor and Law, and it is also one of peace. I care not what happens in the world beyond Kahndaq as long as it does not encroach upon my soil." He explains his eyes firm as his words.

" I care not what the league does, or who hires you to handle their petty squabbles. But I /do/ care about Kahndaq and I will not allow either the honor of my people or I to be tarnished by violence that is not self defense. My country will not be used for your assassins. If they need travel, travel around Kahndaq, if a target has made their way past my Intelligence service, and is in my country, your assassins may come with a missive informing me of who. I will then make the determination as to how to obtain them and to deliver them to you." he finishes.

Ra's al-Ghul has posed:
Ra's al-Ghul sips from a large goblet at his left hand, drawing from it for a moment before he answers. "I appreciate your stance and your candor. Whatever I may think of the laws you have set down, they are your laws and you are, indeed, the rightful ruler of your homeland."

"Of course, informing you in advance and just asking for extradition rather defeats the entire point of an assassin. How may I measure the skills of my servants, foremost of which should be capable of penetrating places in which they are unwelcome, if I simply have them announce themselves? But I'm sure we can come to some sort of agreeable arrangement. I have no desire to antagonize you."

Black Adam has posed:
"Test them in other ways, or on other people. I will not say Kahndaq's security is impregnable. But were another incompetent be found doing League buisness within my borders the concequences would be biblical." He states simply his eyes locked on the seated man. "I knew one of your predecessors, and we had an accord much in the same way as what I am looking to reach with you. Mutual respect between aquaintences, can turn into mutual respect between Allies"

Ra's al-Ghul has posed:
Ra's al-Ghul considers, "I am aware of your previous arrangment and would be content to reinstate its terms, if you like. I was simply offering the opportunity to allow my operatives to test your security. After all, if no one ever tries to pierce your veil, how can you be entirely certain of its impenetrability? But, if you would prefer the old terms, that is agreeable to me. Unsurprisingly, not many bother seeking the heads of your citizens. Fear of you keeps most of them in line and out of the vengeful hands of those who employ my minions."

"I would also be more than happy to offer our services, should you ever have a need for more discrete methods of punishment. I've yet to meet the ruler who didn't need the occasional throat slit."

Black Adam has posed:
Black Adam nods. "I have methods to test my security myself, and I will keep that offer in mind, both for myself, and any future allies that may be able to benifit from your services, or that may be mutually benificial for all involved." he says.

"Now, with that buisness concluded. have one of your servants bring a seat and refreshments. Tell me how long have you been The Head of the Demon. What changes have you seen in this world that you find.. concerning." He says in more friendly tones..

Ra's al-Ghul has posed:
Ra's al-Ghul nods to one of his servants to do just that, a hijab-clad woman bowing deeply and getting a tray to gather wine and cheese as an offering to guests.

"I am near a thousand years old, although no match for your vintage. If anything, it's...refreshing to encounter another immortal. The average human experiences such a flit of time, they hardly understand a thing before they're rotting in the ground."

"As for this world... I think you will find my opinion of it rather dim..." he begins.
