Synopsis: Alice comes to meet her cousin the Cheshire Cat. They've both been down the rabbit hole, but don't really know it yet. Still, it's never too late to reconnect with your roots
Cast of Characters: April O'Neil, 87

April O'Neil has posed:
April had caught wind of the news that her cousin was admitted to this hospital only after she'd been searching for quite some time. She'd tried phonecalls, the internet... it took a long time... but she eventually found him here and after confirming it by calling the place, she hitched a ride from a friend all the way out here.

It was raining outside, so April came into the hospital's entryway with her hood up on a red hoodie, her yellow leather jacket on over that. She pulled the hood down once inside and looked around at all the sick people in the lobby which made her admittedly uncomfortable...

April went to the front desk to find out what Tom's room was, and was told how much longer visiting hours would be, then proceeded to move down the hallways, looking around... trying not to touch things, especially water fountains! Hospitals, ew!

Vorpal (87) has posed:
Tommy was, just at that moment, exiting one of the rooms. His back was turned to April, so he couldn't see her, but the mane of red that runs in the family stands out. Quite a bit.

"I'll be back," he says to the mountain of a man, a bodyguard, poised at the door, "Just need to stretch my legs, is all."

Gorille nods, and Tommy begins walking down the corridor... in the opposite direction, away from April and towards the cafeteria.

April O'Neil has posed:
April could see that red hair and she instantly knew the body underneath it. April had lost everyone in her immediately family, but Tommy represented what bit of family she did have left.

"What? No hospital gowns?" April said as she came up behind him, having given that bodyguard a blue-eyed stare when she passed by him. Clearly she didn't look like much of a threat though.

Vorpal (87) has posed:
Tommy blinks. He knows that voice. The redhead looks over to his side and gasps. ".... April? What are you- what are you doing here?"

He looks genuinely surprised. He clearly has not been reading the news sites, or he would have seen his picture plastered. This is unusual for the media-consumer that he is, so... something is unusual...

April O'Neil has posed:
April turned to face him, her own hair was almost just as bright as his, but it was a few shades darker and more near the blood-red in hue. "Some co-worker just plunked down a picture of you on my desk and said 'Did you hear, your cousin's in the hospital!'." April sighed and shook her head.

"I didn't even know how bad you were hurt or HOW you got here!" She said to him then, giving him a quick up-and-down ocular patdown to check him over.

"So whats going on?" She asked then. "What happened?"

Vorpal (87) has posed:
Uh oh. Here it was. The reason he hadn't called his cousin since coming to the city to study at University. The reason his mother kept bugging to visit April and he kept texting April with 'Semester's crazy!' and that they'd do things together over the Summer. Because, underneath the illusion, he *wasn't* the cousin she knew anymore. "... why don't we go over to the cafeteria and get some awful food, and I'll tell you all about it. I'm not hurt... I'm sorry, I've had my phone off all of this time because you really shouldn'tt have it on in a room with equipment. It's... kinda long story."

He tilts his head and begin to walk to the cafeteria.

To their credit, Mercy Hospital tries to make the place look... nice. Ish. There's tile, there are decorations... so what if they look like they were planned by someone utterly without a sense of decor or taste? The effort counted.

Tommy grabs some Jello of undiscernable flavor and a chocolate cake wose ingredients might include cardboard, and he chooses a booth by a corner window which overlooks the meditation garden- one of the truly pleasant areas of the hospital.

April O'Neil has posed:
April heard his response and she gently nodded her head. "Yeah, okay." She told him a light response as she walked with him into the doorway of the cafeteria nearby. "I hear that they serve the patients who don't make it out of her alive." She whispered to her cousin with a grin before looking at the food provided... She grabbed a cup of rice pudding and then a bottle of water.

April's eyes went to the outside garden and she did admire that, it looked like a great idea for a hospital to have something like that.

"I didn't even know you were in town, or, well... around town." Consider April hailed from Brooklyn, this was a bit out of her neighborhood too, but still.

"How is your mother?" She asked then, because that was a customary kindness!

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"Mom's ok. She's been bugging me to call you..."

"Actually... I kind of am studying at the university further up. Um... I meant to call you but..." he looks uncomfortable and starts poking the Gelatin. Wiggle wiggle wiggle. "Things have gotten weird. I'm not here for myself. You see... I kinda fell in love with this guy. But he loves this girl friend of mine. And I didn't know it, and HE didn't know it, and SHE didn't know it. Sort of. And I got turned into a supervillain by a magical butterfly and she ended up getting hurt because of me..."

He pauses, and then looks up at April, realizing how nuts it all sounds. "I swear I'm not here for the methadone program..."

April O'Neil has posed:
April was uncapping her water and going for a sip while listening to Tommy. She nodded about the mother thing, she nodded AND frowned at the relationship / love triangle and then was kind of blindsided by the other bit!

April's head shook side to side, her facial expression did one of those scrunch-up things as her eyes squinted at him across from her. "Wait, what?!" She asked then in stun-mode now.

"Super villain?!" She asked further, trying to keep her voice down so as not to scare the Stiffs around them.

"What... magical butterfly?" She then asked in a loud whisper!

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"There's... a villain who goes around turning people into villains with these magical butterflies called 'akumas'... I got hit by one. Apparently they are drawn to negative emotions." He noms on a glob of jello. "And I kinda got angry when I found out that he wasn't into..." he exhales, "In any case. I guess it also chose me because of my... unique abilities. I don't remember any of it, it was like being brainwashed. But in the fracas, my friend Marinette got gravely injured."

April O'Neil has posed:
April's mouth just kind of hung up for a moment after hearing of this. Her brain was trying to process it... April was 4 years older than Tommy, but they'd spend quite a few times around each other when they were kids and their parents would hang out. Tommy had been there the day that April had leapt off a stack of hay bayles in their grandparents barn... She'd wanted to fly like a super hero but just ended up, in a hospital instead.

"What powers?" April asked then. "When did you get powers?" It would seem there was a lot about Tommy that she did NOT know.

"You can't be a super villain, you're like the nicest person on the planet, Tommy." She said then, not in disbelief of what he's saying, but more in... not quite grasping what he was saying.

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"I'm -not!-" Tommy says, trying to pack as much earnestness into a quiet whisper, "Someone just messed with my brain, is all. Usually I'm trying to do the -other- thing."

The ginger teenager looks from one side to the other, and behind him. At this hour, the cafeteria was very sparsely populated.

He remembers, alright, April and her leaps. And the cape. He remembers the cape, too. He never made fun of it, but... there was a reason his costume didn't include a cape. "Ape... touch my arm." He extends his arm. It looks normal- same paleness, with the occasional freckles. But when April touches, it won't be skin that she feels... but fur.

April O'Neil has posed:
April stil lhad the cape. It was hung up in her closet in her apartment over the Antique store in Brooklyn... the apartment which HAD belonged to her parents, but now served as her own home.

"Messed with your brain?" She asked. "Is that why you're here? Can they fix it?" But at his request to touch his arm the young reporter hesitated a moment, looked at said arm-in-question and then reached out.

At the feeling of fur she moved her fingers back and forth a few times and then drew her hand back. "What the hell?" She asked. "That feels like my neighbor's cat, Mungaloid!" She said then in a slightly louder voice. She stared at his arm, and then her fingers that had touched him.

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"... Mungaloid? Your neighbor needs to be thwapped for that." He gestures with his hands. "Shhh, shhh, lower, April. I've gotta tell you some things. 's the reason why I've been scarce. Didn't know how to tell ya. But..."

"April? I died. Beginning of the semester. I covered a fight at the museum. I ended up getting thrown against some antique mirror."

He thumps his chest. "Shard right through the heart. Killed me dead."

April O'Neil has posed:
April showed a small and faint smile at the part about Mung, but it soon faded as her cousin moved on explaining.

At the news about his death, the female redhead just looked shocked, stunned and several degrees colder...

"Jesus christ." She whispered this and sat back in her chair, her hands sliding to the edge of the table in front of her. The look on her face would suggest that she was having trouble processing this little nugget of news from her relative and after a small exhale she looked back up at him.

"How are you still here then?" She asked him. "And why exactly does your arm feel like a mink coat but look like a regular arm?"

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"I'm gettin' to that..." He reaches into ... what looks like a hole in space that suddely opens to his side. He rummages. And then he takes out a bottle of Mozart chocolate liqueur. The hole in reality closes.

"I had a friend buy this for this conversation. I was hoping I could tell you at the old place..." April's parents' place, where she is now, "But... you might want to take a drink." He shoves the bottle towards her.

"My arm feels like that because it 'is' like a mink stole. I'm alive because that mirror was a magical mirror of sorts and there was a soul captured inside."

At this point, he's leaning in, whispering quietly. "You remember Alice in Wonderland, right? Well... cheshire cat."

His arm suddenly is not covered by the illusion- it shows the same muscular build that he built through gymnastics throughout highschool... but now it was covered in ginger-yellow fur with deep red stripes. And his fingers had claws at the end of them.

"Cousin, I don't know if you've heard about a vigilante called 'Vorpal', but... "

April O'Neil has posed:
All of this was told to her and April just... reached out and took the bottle of alcohol, she went to open it and take a steady swig. Nevermind it just appeared out of no where right in front of her. Sure, April may hang out with four teenage mutant ninja turtles, but its not like she's not still stunned by 'odd things'.

"I'm not sure how to process this, Tommy." She said to him then. "Vorpal?" She asked then. "Thats your... code name?" April hosted an internet podcast that was posted online every Sunday night, it was a Live Show and it had coll-ins that often talked about super heroes / villains and vigilantes.

"I'm not sure, maybe..." She told him, softly shaking her head then as she took another drink.

"Where is this mirror now?" She asked. "What happened to the 'spirit' that was inside of it? It... killed you or it kept you alive? Is it with you now?" She had so many questions...

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"It's me. I mean... he's me and I'm him. We sort of ... merged. He created this body for our soul, so he sort of saved my life."

He risks it. He lets the illusion drop so April can see him as he truly is. He keeps his ears out to hear if anyone comes in. The illusion will go up so fast the moment he hears any movement.

"The mirror is pretty much gone. The frame was intact but the glass itelf was magical. I hear they repaired it with a new glass that looks like the old one... but it's not the same. I am still the same. Mostly."

He looks down and pokes at a jello cube with one claw. "I... get urges. Like, if I see the sun coming through the window, I have to fight the urge to lay down and soak it in. I want to bat at things that move too fast. I also have the cat's memoris... most of them, anyways. Sometimes I'm a little confused as to who I am... it happened for hours when it first happened, but now it's just a minute or so of disorientation happening here and there. I think it's because we're almost finally done... I dunno. Blending?" he shrugs.

"Tell me when this is too much. I can stop."

April O'Neil has posed:
April took another drink from the bottle as she watched all of this, including the shapeshifting that made him appear in his new form for her. "Same colors... as Mungo..." She quietly whispered mostly to herself.

A headshake later and April was reaching for the napkins on the table and she was tearing up. "Does your mom know?" She asked, trying to sob like an idiot. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you." As if she could do anything when her cousin was impaled on a shard of glass from a magic mirror.

"I'm glad you're still here, but, it could end any minute... I mean who even knows!" She threw up her hands then and dropped them back into her lap. Losing another family member wasn't something April wanted to deal with right now.

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"Ape, you call me Mungo and I swear I will slap you silly," Vorpal smirks, and then says "Oh hell no, mom doesn't know. Can you imagine the major freakout she'd have? And dad? Oh no. They're -not- finding out. At least not for a while... and April, I didn't come to *you*. I was being the asshole here, because I didn't know how the hell to explain this in any way that made sense."

He picks up on her body language and reaches out to tickle her chin with a claw.

"April, I'm not going to die. I mean, look at me- I already died and I got better. Trust me, this body is *solid* and real. What's more, I've got powers... and I've made some friends with powers, too. Chat Noir and Ladybug from France? They're here now. And I thought... you could join me in on my patrols. Heck, maybe they'd even let you join in on theirs, though they're a bit camera shy. Don't you see?" He leans forward, "You can be part of what you always wanted."

April O'Neil has posed:
April had some of her own secrets in regards to that sort of behavior, in the vigilante-variety. "Oh." She said to the Cheshire Tommy. "Well, thats good." She added before sniffing again and then tossing the napkin to the side of the table.

"I know I barged in on this stuff, I'm sorry." She told him. "You're eighteen now and this is your life to live... just... you're going to have to tell your parents, at some point. You can't let them find out through some means other than your mouth."

After a short pause she looked at his hand that had touched her chin and she exhaled. "I mean. I'm not going to tell them, so don't worry about that... but, it better come from you, the sooner the better. The longer you wait the more tough it will be when they DO find out."

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"April... they're still in denial about me being gay. I haven't even told them I'm not Catholic anymore. This is... kind of a few magnitudes larger than that. I may tell them. When I'm thirty-five." The cheshire smirks and covers himself up with his illusion. "I mean... I'm still trying to figure out who I am. In everything. I've just started doing the hero thing... and even an occasional supervillain moment. I haven't even dated a guy, much less kiss one. If I told dad you'd know he'd be too busy disapproving of me at every spot to listen to anything I said."

He sighs, and eats the Jello.

April O'Neil has posed:
April knew the situation with Tommy's family hadn't been great, being gay in a catholic househould... didn't have a reputation of being an easy life to live.

She softly would nod her head to his words and cracked a little smile and released a little laugh. "I'm sorry. I know." She told him. "I'll be there for you when and if you do tell them, if you want me to be." She took another drink from the bottle he'd yanked through the magic hole for her.

"Maybe your dad might actually like this though?" April offered then, laughing a little again. "I mean, saving lives and being... super powered... guys, like that, right? I mean, maybe you're not a quarterback for some college football team, but still... Super heroes are regarded as celebrities in our crazy ass world."

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"Yeah... well, you know he'd take the chance to get his news channel all over me. Nah, he'd end up being just like Adrien's dad, and I am not the good, sweet obliging son he is." There was something about the way he said 'Adrien.' "But you haven't said anything about my offer. Have you lost the fire for heroics? I would have never thought you capable of that!"

April O'Neil has posed:
April laughed a little again and she took another drink at his last question. She thought back to around 72 hours ago where she and Raphael were in an office building and a man had her in a headlock with a gun pressed to her temple while a field of disabled thugs laid in heaps around them all and the building was filling up with smoke.

"I've just been really busy lately." She told him. "Juggling a career position now, and my internet stuff... I haven't had a lot of time to actually seek out danger on my own." Which was a bald faced lie. She was the reason that Raphael had to bail her OUT of that scenario a few nights back.

"I mean, I'm totally happy to help you guys, however I can... but honestly. I'd probably just get in your way. You know me... I can't even operate a yo-yo. Let alone fight crime."

April folded her arms across her stomach then and glanced out to the serene gardens area.

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"You're being booooring," he says, reverting to the tone he'd use as a kid. In fact, he reverts to that ten year old kid for about three seconds. "Seriously, I am starting to feel slighted here, you haven't even asked me about my powers! I guess I'm just not as cool as Superman or The Flash. Issat it?" He grins and wiggles his eyebrows, "I've met Wonder Woman!"

He pauses. "... okay. I've been in the same room as Wonder Woman. I am sure she will remember me. If she has perfect recall and can distinguish crowd scenes..."

April O'Neil has posed:
April laughed again a little at what he said, she was still troubled by the new that he had DIED, essentially.

"I'm sorry." She told him then. "I talk to a lot of super heroes, the lesser known ones... I have seen Wonder Woman from afar, but never up close, let alone had a chance to actually talk to her. I'd -kill- to get some of my tshirts of hers signed though."

After a smirk was shown to him she looked his face over again. "So what do you do for powers?" She asked. "Do you... claw up furniture really well?" She asked then with a grin. "Ability to sniff out open cans of tuna from several miles away?"

Now April was teasing him much like she used to when they were kids.

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"Watch it, Ape, or you're gonna wake up to find a hairball in your slipper!" Vorpal smirks. "What can I do? Well... you've seen the illusions. I can also..."

He drops his hand to his lap. What April doesn't see is the tiny Rabbit Hole he opens under the table and into which he slips his hand. It appears behind her shoulder, and he taps it with an index claw.

April O'Neil has posed:
April showed a smile at his hairball comment and she responded with a soft nod and a simple. "Point taken." She reached for the drink on the table once more and went to lift it up to her mouth for another sip.

Thats when the hand-trick occurred and it made her look over and see his hand there, which then made the reporter JUMP In her chair and even release a squeaky hollar of fright! She definitely wasn't ready for that.

Spinning back around at him she picked up her wadded napkin and tossed it at him. "Not funny!" She said over at him. "Jesus... you're like that old Portal video game. You know, the one with the portals in it?" Good one, April.

"Thats... thats like right out of Alice In Wonderland, wasn't it?" She slowly shook her head. "I haven't seen the cartoon since I was like ten. Now I'm starting to wonder if it was based on something clearly more 'real'."

Vorpal (87) has posed:
This gets Vorpal cackling like a witch who just got her ruby slippers (wrong story, Vorpal). He retracts his portal, and then says, "Oh, Wonderland is real, alright. I remember -him- remembering -it-. I can't go there, though. It's too deep. Several dimensions away, and my power only lets me put holes in one dimension at a time. I think the powers got watered down when they merged with a human soul. But..."

He reaches down and touches the salt and pepper shaker. They sprout little arms and legs and start dancing a waltz. April will be able to touch them and feel that they are not, in fact, an illusion, but quite real. "...I still can do some pretty neat stuff. Which I guess is a good compensation 'cause..." he exhales and smirks. "My dating chances have pretty much gone to pot the moment I transformed into a freak. Even if Adrien liked guys, I don't think this..." he draws a circle in the air around his face. A circle in chalk, floating in the air, stays behind for a couple of seconds, "...would be a great draw."

April O'Neil has posed:
April tentatively reached out to tap the salt shaker making it wobble a bit and threaten to fall over, but it doesn't... and it just makes huff a little laugh. "Thats amazing." She said, looking back to him. "Do they permanently stay like that? Will they come to the living room when I call them because I forgot to grab them from the kitchen?" She grinned a bit bigger then.

At his dating comments she tilted her head and glared daggers at him. "If I could reach through a portal and smack you right now, I would." She told him. "Don't be so hard on yourself. Put your picture up on a dating site, I bet you'll get a ton of responses." Another sigh was given then. "I know people who suffer from physical mutations that are far more complicated than yours. You're... pretty, even, in that form. So embrace it. I mean, yeah, there'll be..." April glanced around the cafeteria. "... dickheads and such, who give you grief. But forget them."

She looked back to her cousin then. "I'm just utterly relieved it was a magick mirror and you're still here."

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"It'll wear off. I can't give things life for too long..." The cheshire cat smirks and leans at April. "Cousin... I'm a cat. A walking cat. Do you realize exactly WHO it is that will be fawning all over me if I put my picture up?"

He leans back slowly. "You've seen the websites. Think about it."

He takes a deep breath. Okay, so it didn't go as bdad as he thought hewould. "So... have you seen anything interesting in your job as a newschaser? You know, if you ever need a 'scoop', I can always grant you an exclusive or whatever. 'cause that's what fam is for, right/"

April O'Neil has posed:
April shook her head at his earliest response. "Maybe there are more kitty people out there. You never know..." a smirk was shown then before she sipped at the bottle again, planning to get shloshed in a hospital?

"Channel Six doesn't let me do much outside of fluff pieces." She replied. "But its helped me get my face out there on the television, which has in-turn lead to me getting significant increases in my followers online." April gently lifted her dark eyebrows up then. "You're more than welcome to share this story of how you came into this... position... on my talk show on Sunday, or any Sunday, you'd like to. I mean, its rather fascinating, afterall. If you don't mind sharing it with upwards of fifty thousand people, which is my currently subscriber base." She was proud of that number, she'd done a video of her blowing out candles on a cake... which got a lot of comments that she had to delete afterward, but thats the internet for you!

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"Hey, that's more than the people who know I exist right now, so why not?" Vorpal grins. He was totally getting his cousin sloshed in a hospital. This was great. "And I've met other kitty people. These alien cat-people who crash-landed on earth... there's a guy called Tygra, and a guy called Lion-O..." he shakes his head, "So... fricking hot. And straight. So..." he shrugs. Luck as always. "I did have a crush on Chat Noir, but that's how I ended up akumatized. He likes Ladybugs. Go figure."

He leans back. "My friend... she is doing better. She's with that Adrien I mentioned earlier? Adrien Agreste. Son of the famous designer, supermodel himself? He's a total babe." He sighs. "...also a really sweet guy. And a good friend, I won't lie. He didn't push me away or tell me to go eff myself after I expressed my feelings for him."

Awkward pause. "By impulsively kissing him. It was awkward."

April O'Neil has posed:
April listened to all of this and it created a big smile on her lips, she was always amused by her cousin and how much of a go-getter he was... in whatever it was he was after. "You're... five years younger than me? Four?" She asked. "And you're out looking for more love than I have been in ages... I haven't even gone on a date in over a year."

April shook her head at him then and continued to smile. "Don't lose any sleep over it, Tommy. I mean, you're eight? You're gonna be married in no time, if you keep pushing this hard. And I promise you you'll be married before me." This made the reporter grin some more. "Just keep kissing them. Eventually they'll start kissing back."

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"Oh god, please don't count my age in cat years," He rubs his forehead, "... oh god, I hope I don't start aging IN cat years! That means I've got, what, twelve years, tops?" Now that was something that took his sleep away. How could he figure out how fast he was aging? "... I need to find someone who knows about this stuff... someone brainy and sciency. That sure ain't Chat Noir." He smirks.

"And noooo thank you. After turning into a supervillain due to being heartbroken, I think I'm putting an end to that before it gets started. This city doesn't need another strike by the Knave of Hearts."

April O'Neil has posed:
April just grinned at her relative and gently shook her head at him. She started to think on the subject that he was facing/presenting her and she suddenly had an idea. "Hey!" She said at him then, potentially to a startling level of energeticness.

"Some of my recent Callers have talked about their experiences at a school in Westchester." She started tapping the top of the desk then. "They have a doctor there who helped them with their own situations... Oh god, what was his name..." She the was racking her brain on this...

FINGERSNAP-POINT! "McCoy!" April told him then, pointing over the table at him and nodding her head. "Yeah. Like from Star Trek." She was a nerd afterall. "Doctor McCoy, he's supposedly a brilliant guy. I bet he could tell you all the science behind what you're experiencing, to make sure you're NOT aging that fast... I mean... ya better not be aging that fast, cause house cats die depressingly fast..."

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"I knew it. It's Garfield all over again. I show up cuter than you, and you want to ship be to Abu Dabi- or in this case into outer space!" Vorpal chuckles and hmmms. "McCoyh. Westchester school, you say? I can probably google this McCoy, Doctor, and Westchester I might be able to find the school. Or a very weird Star Trek fanfiction that involves the Old Croton Aqueduct. Either way, time well spent." He smirks.

And then, his phone pings. He looks at it.

"It's Adrien. Apparently... he needs cheese. And cookies." He looks up.

"Would you like to meet him? We're still within visiting hours. He and Marinette know my secret... I couldn't exactly keep it from them when I was the cause Mari got hurt."

April O'Neil has posed:
April laughed at the Garfield reference, another thing she hadn't thought about since she was a little kid. Her head slowly shaking side to side. "I'm the one in the yellow jacket, that makes me the dog... right? Whatever his name was." She grinned some more before glancing toward the exit of the cafeteria.

"Your friend is here now?" She asked then. "I'd be happy to meet them. Finally getting to know what my mysterious cousin's life is like..."

Vorpal (87) has posed:
"Hah, mysterious? As if! And you're thinking of Odie." The redhead stands up, looking fully human. "We need to go and get some cheese. They don't sell that here, but there is a little market across the street and down the block. I don't know why on earth Adrien needs cheese... maybe it's Marinette who does. Last time I saw her awake she was tripping balls because of the pain meds."

He frowns for a second. The cookies, he understood- those were for Tikki. But why would he need cheese?

And then it hits him. Plagg needs cheese. He remembers Chat telling him so. His eyes widen. Maybe Chat Noir is in the room now- in his civilian identity! Of course, Adrien told himm he'd let Chat know.

Okay. He had to remain very very cool, so as not to betray his identity. Or even betray that he suspected anything.

"Let's hop over there, we can get some italian sodas as we get the cheese and then we can come back. Then you can tell me whether or not I'm right about him being a stone-cold babe."

April O'Neil has posed:
April would recap her bottle of water and the liquor... hoping nobody asked her where that came from on their way out... "Odie! Thats the one! God, he was so cute. I used to beg my parents for a dog like that." She grinned at him as she rose up from the table.

"Hey. I'm always up for meeting a stone cold babe!" And with that April headed for the doorway, looking back to her Cheshire Cousin. "How old is he though? If he's a teenager... I've got enough of that going on in my life." Hey, if he was straight, she may as well play the field. "I swear I won't surprise kiss him either!" More teasing, cause, family!
