Cast of Characters: Flash, Killer Frost

Flash has posed:
Relatively nice night for a walk about. Big Belly Burger is set to close in a little under an hour and Barry has made the expert decision to stop in for a quick snack before venturing home for the night. It's one of those rare nights where Central City is quiet, not that it is an overtly crime riddled city at the worst of times, but like any city there's the chance at any moment.

Having worked most of the day at the crime-lab, Barry is sitting with his laptop open on the table finishing up a casefile with his cellphone sitting face up on the table just incase something comes across the police scanner.

Killer Frost has posed:
A blue Toyota stops by and drops off Caitlin. She smiles as she walks in. "Hey Barry," she states softly, as she moves to sit down, hoping you haven't heard about the Atlantic City heist. "We haven't just hung out in a while. I took an Uber."

Flash has posed:
Barry glances up from his laptop when Caitlin enters and lifts a hand in a wave, "Hey Caitlin. Yeah, it's been some time hasn't it? Sorry about that. Never a dull moment, is it?" Smiling as he sets his work aside and once more checks his phone with a brief glance down at the screen turned up to face him.

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow smiles wryly. "Yeah... so nice to be off the clock for once. I even... might've met a guy. It's... complicated. Not sure it's going to work, but... it's a possibility." She hmmmms, shifting softly back and forth as she waits for her food.

Flash has posed:
"Oh?" Barry glances towards the register and holds up a finger to stall her just long enough to go collect his dinner and return. As one would expect it to be, there's a pile of burgers upon the tray and at least four large fries. "Hungry? I'm famished." He indicates, telling the obvious. "So, why don't you think it's going to work?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow just stares. "You know, one smart person is going to figure out one day who you are just by your eating habits." She sighs softly. "Well... his name is Warren. Met him at a conference while I was in Metropolis. And... we have something in common." She looks all around, then whispers, "He has... a dark alter-ego too."

Flash has posed:
"I don't have time to be one at a timing it when it comes to food, Caitlin." Barry, at least, eats his massive meal at a normal persons pace though it is entirely likely he would rather devour it like some kind of galactic conqourer. "Sounds like a match made in heaven. What's the problem? Aside from his name is Warren..."

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow nods. "He has... a dark persona in him, kinda like... a parallel to my sister - who likes that dark side of him." She blinks. "He's... one perosn we can both agree on - because he, too, is like two different people in one." She is still talking very quietly.

Flash has posed:
Barry is no stranger to clandestine conversation in public locales and speaks accordingly while eating a clutch of fries, "I'm not hearing a lot of negatives here, Caitlin." Another mouthful of fires, "Except that his name is Warren."

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow murmurs, "Did I mention the wings?" she whispers, "He has wings." She shrugs softly. "Not... the type that can be hidden. If I proceeded - there'd be very little secrecy about it."

Flash has posed:
"There's always secrecy if that's what you want." Barry unwraps another hamburger and bites into it, then uses it as a pointing extension of his hand, "If that's what you want, that is. I mean, relationship with a metahuman isn't a crime, last I saw. Honestly it isn't anyone's business but yours who you go out with."

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow smiles faintly. "Yeah - but his Death persona is even _more_ extreme than Killer Frost." She sighs softly. "At least I had a good trip out there. Ended up visiting Atlantic City even for a bit. Not realy sure why."

Flash has posed:
"Death." Barry pauses in his eating to repeat the alter egos name, "That's awful pretentious as far as badguy names go." Then he can take a bite, watching Caitlin while he chews and swallows, "Wasn't there some kindo f heist in Atlantic City?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow murmurs, "He mentioned something about Apocalypse, as if it was a person, but I don't know who that is..." She then blushes bright red at that mention. "Ummmm..." she murmurs, as she lowers her head. She touches her pocket where she was going to pay with a roll of quarters. "I didn't do it."

Flash has posed:
"Oh come on..." Barry throws his hands up when she denies it without being accused. There's a moment where he just lays his forehead on his folded arms and murmurs into the space beneath the table, "Can she not keep her frozen fingers out of the cookie jar for just a few weeks? Between Frost and Zippy, I'm going to die of anxiety before my 30th birthday."

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow blinks as she sets a roll of quarters on the table. "It just happened... not my sister's fault the slot machines were hacked to suddenly spew all the quarters - she lost control. I'm forced roommates with a sociopath. But I met a few other friends that day. Poison Ivy for example. Not sure why we got along - I'd think she wouldn't like me."

Flash has posed:
Barry just waves his hands up into the air and sits up infront of his stack of hamburgers. The pair are at Big Belly Burger, of cours ethey are. Barry has a laptop sitting closed beside his cellphone turned face up, having gotten a little work down in the fast food joint prior to them closing. "I guess, but she's going to end up getting you in a lot of trouble. I mean, what kind of Justice Leaguer am I if I don't tell the authorities that your alter ego might have been involved?" Obviously he's not going to, but it definitely puts him in a precarious position.

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow sighs. "You have a telepath on your team, right? That person could probably easily tell that there's two of us in here.' She blinks. "Is a simple casino heist worth their trouble? It was probably the Joker who made all the mayhem happen." She finishes eating her food. "I don't like my situation any more than you do - but it's either get a lobotomy or live with it."

Flash has posed:
"I know..." Barry says quietly, reaching out for one of the burgers to absently unwrap and start eating, "I know, I'm sorry. It's not all about me, but you have to be careful. I don't want to see you locked up for something you aren't even aware of doing, ya know?" The Joker. Barry actually shivers, "God he gives me the creeps."

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow shrugs. "I am careful. But... you need to talk to my sister about it. You're about the only person she'll listen to. The only person she has the slighest respect for." She finishes her one burger, glancing at the huge pile of burger-wrappers in front of Barry.

Flash has posed:
It's easy to forget where he is when eating during a conversation, but it doesn't really matter much when Barry can eat at the speed of light. Burgers just sort of disappears, leaving behind empty wrappers as he considers what Caitlin is saying. "I'll try, but for all the respect she has for me, she likes to do the exact oposite of whatever I tell her is a good idea just to get under my skin. She has that in common with Zippy. That kid..." He just shakes his head and sighs.

Killer Frost has posed:
Caitlin Snow nods. "Yes, he's so impulsive." She shrugs. "I think she's getting better - she hasn't really killed anyone lately." She sighs softy. "There's nothing I can do here. If I try fighting her, it'll be a literal migraine headache."

Flash has posed:
"He is... and that name: Zippy?" Barry rolls his eyes so hard they nearly pop out of his skull, "Where's Cisco when you need him?" Teasing, with a little grin that slowly fades as she explains her precarious situation with Frost, "I know.. She actually helped me the other night. All be it a little more harshly than I'd have wanted, but it's something."
