Danny Rand settles down at his desk and looks at the phone in his hand. Since he gained control of his family's company, he's shown a lot of aptitute business, but that's something shared among most of his peers. His empathy, however, has been what has set him apart from peers, even if he hasn't always expressed it in the best of ways. As such, responsibilities like today's phone call generally fall onto him.
After briefing himself on Rand Enterprise's upcoming charity fashion show with Agreste Fashion, he phones the the fashion heir's personal cell phone. For him, this call is to genuinely see if the young man is doing alright. Of course, he's also trying to get a general sense of whether or not this will affect the co-sponsored event.
