Synopsis:	There's a lot of weird in Art.

Kid has posed:
Horror. Heart Wrenching. Hostility. Horrible. Hurt. Hideous. Harmful

Hate.

They are all words that begin with H, and paint the scene for the pictures created in the small gheto like area within the Big Apple. It is all there sprawled on the walls. The life-like depiction of a Sentinel decapitating a Human. The heart-breaking image of children dieing in the fire. The lonesome picture of a wounded soldier dieing on a battlefield. And the saddening image of gangs of people beating up others for one reason or another. And the terrorfing visage of criminals both mundane and powered breaking and robbing, inciting riotes and fear. The showing of invading ships, and mushroom creatures eating at a mind. All for the denizens of NYC to see, to witness, to feel.

And the only clue to images creator was the tribal like symbol of an Hour Glass, with two Yin-Yang signs within. Broken, cracked and faded.

It was a grim reminded of what todays world is like. And people often didn't like to be reminded of the bad. As such, to the protest of some, a large group of volounteers have come to paint over the life-like murals. That at the moment, considering the current state of things was 'distasteful' and some simply didn't want their home marked in such a way. Still, the images almost seemed too real...

Green Lantern (Rayner) has posed:
Floating int he air, Kyle Rayner is there in his Green Lantern uniform. The artist in him is judging the images. While he notes the signature of the artist, Kyle is looking for hidden meanings. Sometimes when artists enter different periods of their life they create art in a certain scheme, or style. A hidden meaning lingers. The imagery is obviously an idea of the mindest, but something -might- be derrived this way.If it pulls up nothing, then he'll see what the ring can pull up. Another thing he will keep an eye out for, any discarded materials, like empty cans or similar. Those may offer a clue.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Vroom-VROOOOM!

The sound of the engine of a Yamaha-VMax motorcycle drives through the area of New York, though, even Johnny Blaze found himself a bit distracted by the interesting symbolism of the murial. Though what was even more curious was the Green Lantern looking at hte murial as well. "Any idea who made it?" Johnny calls out to the fellow. Johnny does't wear a fancy uniform.

Just a leather jacket and other more 'biker' styled clothes. "Because that looks a bit...life-like. Artist is either really good or..." Johnny shakes his head, deciding not to be a pessimist for once.

Lucius Primus gets out of the subway station, he's moving as a man on a mission, the thousands thoughts of people who walked by here and their feelings about the mural have brought him to midtown. He's definitely not one of those who stands out in the crowd like the floating green lantern or the biker. He looks over the mural, it's nothing he hasn't seen before, honestily surviving through the dark ages, the modern world has no idea how bad it was back then. The good old days were not good." He scratches his chin, looking over the 'signature' on the mural.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan had been dropping off some files nearby, a fellow doctor down here needed some assitance. Which she offered gladly. She was walking towards the subway station, but the mural seems to be attracting a rather diverse crowd. She dips her sunglasses a moment, her bright violet gaze looking over the crowd. "Well that is rather life like." she states. Then she's pushing her glasses back up and looking over the mural. Weirdly life like. It was a bit uncomfortable to look at still.

Kid has posed:
    Indeed it was life like. The look of blood dripping out of a wound. Or the too real frightened eyes of a people fleeing from Darksied. And the manical look of the Joker as he laughs at some unseen look of chaos. It was almost as if you could reach out and touch it...

Infact. Things where about to become all too real. It was subtle at first. The scent of burning wood, the billow of light grey, a slow but steady increase in heat. And than like a mouth to flame, the painting of a Burning Building was ablaze. The crying of children ring out. But that was only the start of the troubles.

The depicted mushrooms creatures began to move, with the largest ones begining to peel themselves from the wall. The sound of guns shooting, ships moving, people dyeing all begin to come to life. To tear themselves from the mural.

As for Kyle Investigation before all this got real, was a sense of balance, of opposites. A desire to understand what all this was about. And notably hidden within the signature, the letter H. Spray paint cans were out in hordes, empty of their contents. As for what the Ring will bring up - if it has any ability to connect to earths Internet - the signature would point to a young Artist by the name of Horgroth. A none-traditional name if there ever was one. The Artist specialized in Duality and had a sort of obession with letters, words, and meanings.

Green Lantern (Rayner) has posed:
     Kyle's ring cannot connect tot he internet, but he does havean idea. A simple claw from a claw machine snags one of the cans. Green light starts to run over the can like a flash light. What the ring can do is pick up finger prints, store them, and compare them to other ones. This will help with a positive ID later. Before he can snag too many cans, that's when the paitnings start to come to life. "What the?" he pauses for a moment and floats back. "Please tell me I'm not dreaming," the hand is extended as he is ready to fire off someenergy if necessary.

Zeitgeist (Julius) has posed:
Lucius Primus says, "Your not dreaming... This isn't right.. but it is real enough." He looks around, he's hoping these things don't decide to do violence... the feelings of the crowd are swelling as the 'realness' increases. He's locked in a bit of inaction, not certain what to do.. should he try and usher people away, should he prep for a fight?"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny seems to be a bit more on alert as he moves his bike so it leans against one of the walls and he dismounts, his chain visibly wrapped around his body and it appears to have rather sharp chain links. Ghost Rider might have to come in for work, it seems. "What the hell?" Johnny says as the artwork seems to almost peel itself from the wall.

"Well..you definitely don't see that everyday." then theres Lucius. "Well...looks like there might be a scrap incoming depending on what kind of weird art this is."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's nostrils flare a bit at the smell of blood and then she scrunches up her nose in distaste, "That blood seems...off." the woman states. "I wouldn't touch anything." she tells the group. She sniffs again and then feels a little nauseous. Gross. Then a mushroom peels off the wall and the woman takes a few steps back, "Ummm, I don't think anyone is dreaming. Unless it's shared and then...I'm not sure why I'm dreaming about this." she shakes her head.

Kid has posed:
As the heros stand there gawking at the scene comming to life before them...some of the images attack them at the backing up crowd. Dozens of mushrooms creature scatter about, jumping onto the unsuspecting citizens backs, begining to drag them away.

The fire that had seemingly started, was growing, as black smoke rises from the burning building. The screams becomming more and more evident. All the while the depiction of various criminals also come to life and been attacking, mugging and holding people up. Many begin to lift up guns and shoot into the crowd while they scatter.

Not to mention that alien invasion force from Darksied is getting 'closer' in the mural. And the sentinel eyes just blinked...and it was starting to move. Notably though, the images that have already come to life, left a 'faker' looking image behind.

Lucius Primus is the complete opposite of most of the crowd, he literally runs straight at one of the gunners.. he weaves slightly as the man takes aim at him, he attempts to smash a hand into the now come to life criminal, his other hand attempting to remove the gun. A bullet skims his cheek.

Green Lantern (Rayner) has posed:
     Kyle causes a construct to form to life. Honestly, it's a simple spatula. Right now, he is trying to smother the fire. Fires work on a triangle. A spark, fuel, and oxygen. All need to be in harmony to create fire. Destroy the harmony, and the fire dies. So, he is trying to smother that fire, remove the oxygen from the source. That is the plan anyway.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan seems to have the good sense to keep backing away, but the woman really doesn't run, she's not built like that. The redhead ducks one of the oncoming gang members and there's a growl that leaves her throat, "Go away." she snaps at him. Or it was going to end painfully for one of them.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Oh here we go.

Johnny Blaze looks at the mushroom creatures as they leap off the walls and start attacking people. Johnny catches the mushroom monster that leaps at him, and he proceeds to literally crush it in his hand. "And here I was hoping for a god damned relaxful saturday. Christ." His eyes look like the flames of Hell danced upon them, and he draws his bladed chain, swinging it at two more mushroom creatures. At the moment, he's just trying to make sure these guys stay safe. But right now? he's tempted to completely cave in the wall that artwork rests upon. Would that stop it? No idea.

Kid has posed:
Well this going to go south real real fast if things didn't change Soon. Needless to say, trying to put out a building wide fire with a spatula wasn't working. And the fire was only spreading more.

As for Luciouse. He manages to successfully his hand into the criminals Chest, slamming him down. It however didn't stop the other from taking aim at Luciouse and the other criminal to fire on him! Which reveals another important fact - the bullets can't break skin. Yes the bullets and shells where comming in spade, hitting hard enough to cause bruising, but that bout it. As bullet shells hit the ground - they fade to nothing.

The Squid Johnny crushes is....saddly not dead. Infact, despite it's crushed state it was very much still alive. It's tendrills begining to wrap around his arms. Unlike the real mushroom monsters of old, it wasn't nearly as strong, just like how the bullets were not as strong as a real gun.

But still, what these look-alike lack in strength, they make up for in number. As the squids have to work in teams to try and drag people away. But on the bright side, the blade chain DOES manage to to hook into two additional squids, stopping them from grabbing other people.

As for Morrigan, he snappy attitude did nothing to scare the gang-members that came to life near her. Infact it did the exactly the opposite as the growl attracted more of them. They all begin to try and do fight her, throwing punches or using weapons such as pipe-like bats

Green Lantern (Rayner) has posed:

     "We need someone else on fire duty!" Kyle calls out. Thinking on it, Kyle is looking for a fire hydrant, maybe a small water reserve. Something because he has an idea. IF this is paint come to life, maybe it's still paint somehow. That's the plan, so the second he fainds a source, he'll gather some up via a giant super soaker, and blast the squid with it just to see what happens to the inky thing.

Lucius Primus is prepared to be poked with a lot of holes by bullets but.. apparently he's lucky this time. And the crowd as well.. he picks up one of the gang members and tosses him at another with a judo move. "Okay.. This is must be for someone's amusement." he looks around looking for someone whose enjoying this.. using the eyes of the crowds to do his work... all the while he plays tango with a few of the rest of the gang bangers, a very painful one for them and him.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gets hit with a pipe and the woman's sunglasses come flying off, which immediately seems to piss her off more. "Alright." she whispers. Then she reaches out and grabs the arm of one of the gangers and then she bites into it. If it was just anyone else biting, there might have been some hope for the arm, but Mo's fangs sink in and start ripping into veins and muscle. There's a scream of pain, but it doesn't register to her. She rips her mouth away and there's a fall of blood that runs down her chin, "I told you.." she spits blood out on the ground.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Well...thats problematic. THe squid creature is not yet dead, but if it cannot be crushed, maybe then it can be burned. With a growl, Johnny's skin seems to literally be burnt off his face, dissipating like embers int othe wind, leaving only behind a bare skull, wreathed in Hellish flame. The squid is still in the Ghost Rider's hand, so he will now try and burn it alive with fire channeled through his entire arm.

Ghost Rider is literally THE WORST person to put on fire duty.

Kid has posed:
    To start with - The Blood Tastes HORRIBLE. She may as well have just stuck paint in her mouth, because it sure as hell would taste like it. The skin felt wrong, the muscles where off. It was just solid clump of...nothingless mixed with paint? Heck, despite the gangster having screamed in pain...it was a false pain. A false sense of it. The gangster was fine and decided to try and punch her out. Of course, not being even as strong as a regular human, this wouldn't do too much damage. It was the fact there were now multiple 'people' still unafraid at the display going after her that might be the issue.

As Luciouse searches through the eyes of other people, he can't see anyone particularly taking enjoyment in this. Most people where too busy on getting away. There he did get a glance of Kid, watching, sipping on some Mango smoothie. Kid, who as Luciouse would know, was an illusionist of sorts. But back to the fight at Hand. As Luciouse tangos, breaking limbs and turning heads, it does nothing to slow the fiends. They were works of fiction, not bound to the (most) of the normal rules governing the world. And they were still comming.

But all was not lost. While no one heeded the call to Fire duty, it perhaps was not needed. Kyle quick thinking of taking in water for a super soaker goes well rewarded. As he does a test squirt, where the water touches the left behind or real images, erases part of the attacking drawings. But there was ALOT of ground to cover.

And than there Ghost Rider. While physical attacks didn't work so well, elemental ones seemed to do the trick. As he ignites the squids, they go up in flame. They run around in panic as the corrosive order of burning paint and noxiouse fumes fill the air from the burning. They soon dissolve into nothingness, and their respective Murals fade to chalk-like stills.

All of this probably important. Because 1 - that sentinel is starting to step out of the wall, and it was 20ft tall. And Two, those alien vessels in the distance where about to break out into the real world unless something is done...

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Oh thank god it's paint." Morrigan breates out. She didn't want to be tasting ACTUAL blood. Weird as that is, she's not a blood drinker. Don't need it! She's going to be bruised and then a bat cracks against her ribs and there's a bit of a pained cry. "Not being a fan of collateral damage, but is that wall really really important to anyone? If not can we just...take it out?" she calls out.

Green Lantern (Rayner) has posed:
     The giant super soaker is beign pumped just like the actual ones. "I'm running out of juice!" he calls out. The water ready he stays on his target until it is gone, and then he'll work on a new target. Once he is out, Kyle will take off into the air. Right now, he is trying to find the a source of water that is close. Whether it is an ocean, a water reserve, something. He knows more is needed. So much more.

Lucius Primus says, "Okay.. we need alot of paint remover... Anyone got acetone by the truck load." he notices a fire hydrant nearby... he runs over and takes a kick at the cap at the edge, but he's not super humanly strong so it might not be as effective as he'd like, his ankle however hates him now, "Ouch.. Hey flying guy.. Fire hydrant work?""

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
The Ghost Rider looks around then, growling as the squids are burnt so badly that they seemingly just...fade from teh canvas, as it were. Though those blazing eyes eventually shift to the gang members still attacking Morrigan, and so, the Rider gets involved.

He grabs one by the neck and throws them at the wall of the attacking artwork, hoping to kill the man instantly with the force of the throw itself. Maybe, at the very least, get the men attacking Morrigan's attention so she's not getting beat up.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's not startled by Johnny, she's seen Demons and Symbiotes crash through walls, but she is definitely curious of the flaming skulled man. "Neat trick." she tells him as she picks up one of the pipe bats that gets dropped and she bonks one of the gang bangers with it. "Thanks for the hand." she grins at that.

Kid has posed:
The attention that was on Morigan gets split as The Ghost Rider gets involved. Throwing the man at a wall is as effective as crushing a squid. Aka, it isn't. The man peels himself off the man, half flattened, but much like the criminals Luciouse was tangling with - it doesn't bring him down. He just charges right back in. Jumping to (pitifully) tackle Johnny. Which is in turn piled on by several of of the crooks. Easily distracted, they have all shifted their attention away from Morigan. Which allows her to slam it into one of the gang-members. But like with Johnny attempt - it doesn't truely hurt it. Just manages to cause his head to deform into a U shape, but otherwise not slowing it down.

As for Luciouse himself. Well, the fire hydrant he has helpfully pointed out, was not his friend. And the attempted kick, attracted the attention of some nearby squids. A group of 4 latch onto the fighters arms...and begin dragging him backwards towards an alley.

The Sentinel picture fully peels itself from the wall. It eyes begin to glow - and it shoots eye lazors at The green Lantern! Unlike a real lazor though, it won't go straight through him, at most cause first degree burns, if it manages to hit. All while reaching down and picking up a dumpster quite casually, preparing to hurl it.

Lucius Primus says, "Great Occupied at the moment... Someone... help?" he asks those around, he keeps finicking... after a few swift kicks a dagger pops out of his boot and he then kicks one more time.. the dagger flying up and then back down into one of his enwrapped arms which preceeds to try and sever a few tentacles from it."

Green Lantern (Rayner) has posed:
     And thats when Kyle begins to work. Pipes start to form over the fire hdyrant. Inside, the construct pulls off the metal point. Water starts to form in a almost a geyser. The pipe Kyle can control. With the ability to eturna nd adjusst it, Kyle is using the pipe to make it into a crossbreed between a never ending water canon and a turret. "Working on it!" First target is to clear up any allies that are in over their head.

Morrigan is clearly not a fighter, but she's not going to be the one running and screaming for help, not really her style. She keeps whacking the paint wall gangers with her bat that she picked up and there's a dribble of paint that runs down her chin. Still gross. She moves to help Johnny try to fend things off, even if she's taking a bit more damage than he is.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider is tackled - wimpishly - by a bunch of the gang members, keeping the bad guys off of Morrigan as he's swarmed. Though, that was a poor decision on their part, as the Rider simply ignites with flame, forming something of a pillar of burning fire around him like a dying flame just got more wood to keep it alive. Though, he tries not to burn Morrigan. But then there's the Sentinel! Oh shit.

Kid has posed:
With Kyle so focused on creating a crossbow of a water turrent, the Sentinel gets off a clean shot, hitting the Green Lantern. That wasn't enough to break his will power though. The now thrown dumpster? Well that bout does it as it knocks Kyle to the ground, and out conciouse.

The Pillar of Flame is a fantastical choice. The crooks burn and melt, running around on fire. Slowly as with the squids, they fade into nothingless, their respective paintings becomming chalk like in looks.

Morrigan despite not being a fighter, is clearly no push over. It seems beating something enough at the very least helps! The gangster flails as he is virtually blinded by his head being beat to a pulp! He quite litterly was running around like a chicken with no head.

Good thing Luciouse comes packing with a knife. He manages to succesfully slice off the tendrils. The squids that where carrying him lose mobility, and he gains his freedom! Though they did manage to bring him to the mouth of the alley...which was filled with said squids. And they were charging towards him.

Zeitgeist (Julius) has posed:
Lucius Primus reaches back and the businessman unsheathes two blades from his back, their hilts look ancient, the blades look like they were maintained lovely for many many years. He aims towards the Octi, "I'm a fan of sushi... I guess it's time for some Tako." He leeps blades forwards slicing one more ocupus into ribbons, and he begins his food processing of the alleyway.. black ink splatters everywhere, it looks like a oil well just exploded in the alleyway, Lucius is no longer able to be seen as the ink engulfs his form.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Oh hey now not all of you need to gang up on the flaming guy!" Morrigan shouts as she seems them all tackle Johnny. Then there's the column of flames and there's a blink of her bright eyes, "On second thought he's got this under control. No more comments from the peanut gallery." the redhead states. Then she's going back to working on her golf swing with whatever even attempts to come after her or the skeletal man that's on fire. She's helping! "Umm, is that guy going to be OK?" she looks to the alleyway. Oh hell no she was not going in there!

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
The Ghost Rider is FREE. He shakes himself free of former goon goop before he looks around, growling enough that it literally looks like fire comes out of his mouth for a brief moment. But for now? The Sentinel. The Rider reaches into it's now-demonic-looking leather jacket and pulls out a sawed off shotgun. It aims the weapon at the peeling away Sentinel, and he fires those hellfire bullets at it!

Lets see if that makes the thing wish it never tried to come alive.

Kid has posed:
Well that....Alley is. Dark. Like so dark you wonder if it was painted over with Vanta-Black dark. The sounds of slicing dicing squids being the ONLY thing comming from it. Most people are probably on Morrigans side here.

Speaking of Morrigan, her golf swing is about to come in real handy. More of those Mushroom monsters come charging at her! Some intent on going for her and others the Ghost Rider who is trying to deal with the sentinel.

As Ghost Rider shoots at the sentinel, the sentinel tries to shoot the bullets with it lazors! Guess whose shot was hotter? Thats right, Ghost Riders. It goes straight through and into the Sentinels Eyes, lighting it head on fire. Unlike it smaller counter parts though, simply setting part of it on fire wouldn't cut it. It begins to swing it limbs wildly, cracking the wall and ground. At one point even bringing both fists togeather to try and slam down on where it thinks it assailent was

Zeitgeist (Julius) has posed:
Lucius Primus finally steps out of the alleyway... or what looks like a black blotch of a blackhole steps out of the alleyway.. he smears some ink from his brow so his eyes are white pinholes on an otherwise black form. "I would.." he spits out some black ink, "not go in there right now.." He looks at what is transpiring outside in shock at perhaps the scene in general.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan watches Johnny for a minute, there's maybe a twinge of worry for the man, until he shoots the Sentinel. Yeah, he's fine. He'll be fine. Then she's being attacked by the Lollipop Guild on a REALLY bad acid trip and the redhead gives a yelp as she swings the makeshift putter at them, "Piss off toadstools!" she hisses at them. Then she catches sight of Lucius and it's the weirdest ink job ever, "You might want to watch out, more of these things incoming!" she calls to him.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Yeah, Ghost Rider gets SMASHED into the ground by the Sentinal...though that doesn't stop a touch from Ghost Rider sending a burning flame up both of the sentinels arms! unless it's quick and removes itself from him.

Kid has posed:
The sentinel wasn't the brightest thing out there. As flames snake up it arms, it moves to try and smash him again. Granted even if it does, it wouldn't be nearly as strong. The spreading fire was doing its work in killing the sentinel, in erasing it. The arms begining to fade away to nothingless

But there was still the rest of the wall mind you. Morrigan vocalization of doing something to it might be a good idea.

Speaking of which, Tentacle Moushrooms go flying away from Morrigan as she swings her putter like she means it. Some go careening far FAR away. She might have a gift for goffing...or baseball. Depends really.

And no sooner had Morrigan spoke those words of warning, than did a mushroom squid thing launch itself as Luciouse Head to try and get a strangle hold on him.

Zeitgeist (Julius) has posed:
Lucius Primus slices it in half in mid-air.. and he's splattered with other innards, "You know... this is starting to get old... Someone clean that mural off before other things come out."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gasps when she sees the flaming skeleton get smashed into the ground, but she calms when he is alright for the moment, or at least he looks to be. She's keeping up with the mushrooms, even if some get past a swing or two. "Yeah, that's a good idea!" she tells Lucius. She however can't help with that. She's already starting to feel drained due to the sun.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider is smashed into the ground yet again, but this time, the Rider looks largely unphased. He simply watches now as he waits for the sentinel to completely turn to ash. Destroy a wall? he can absolutely do that! So, Ghsot Rider runs forward, wrapping his chain back around himself as he rears back his punching arm, and unleashes forth to try and bash down the demon-art wall!

Of course, if there's magic or something to help keep the wall in tact...he could be in some deep trouble.

Kid has posed:
Thankfull, there was no magic keeping the wall safe or anything like that. As Johnny tears into the wall, much like the pictures before, it was set alight. The sentinel feel about as the rubble went to pieces, as did the crooks, squids, mushrooms and about everything else that came to life.

Between the sentinel melting onto the rubbish, spreading the fire, and the water all over the ground, the effects of the images where fading. The black ink that cover Luciouse and the Alley faded away. The paint Morrigan got on her due to bashing away various entities likewise was dissappearing.

But who, or what was behind this is a whole other matter. The only thing left in semi-contact was that symbol from before, which unlike everything else that came to life, stayed normal.

Morrigan just stares as things start to end and she reaches up to wipe at the drying paint all over her chin, "That...was not how I wanted Saturday to go." she breathes out. There's a look to Lucius, "You alright?" she asks. Then she heads over and takes a picture of that symbol with her phone. For science!
