Synopsis:	Robot-Janet attacks Jessica Drew, revealing herself to be a vicious imposter....

Iron Man has posed:
"Wait!"

Spotting Jessica Drew headed into the elevator, a woman that looks exactly like Janet calls out. "Hold the elevator, please!"

She speeds up, to make it in, with a flash of appreciative smile as she approaches. Her hands, though, shake, as she comes over, and she slips them away into her pockets. "I am still /blocked/ from access to the lower levels, it's obnoxious and silly; would you mind opening access to medical?" asks the petite woman, a wince in her features as she crosses the threshold from the main floor into the elevator.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"I don't..." Jessica begins to respond to Janet, but frowns. "What's wrong? Your hands are shaking?" Jess declines to press a button on the elevator, and instead just stands there facing Janet. "You know that I told you I wasnt gonna help you get pills...I havent changed my mind on that." Jessica crosses her arms around the case she is carrying, containing the dickbush gun, for safe keeping. "I don't like this side of you, Janet."

Iron Man has posed:
There is a puzzled little look, and then the petite woman laughs softly, high and amused. "Oh /no/, it's not for that. I am not feeling well. It seems ridiculous to need an escort just to see one of the medical staff, but I'd appreciate if you'd be my plus-one. " sighs the woman, moving to stand next to Jessica, looking towards the elevator door in a bored way, expecting Jessica to push the buttons, clearly. But there's also no hurry in her tone.

"While I have you here, though - about the landscaping phallic symbol," she asks, "I heard the robots went berserk?" Her gaze moves to the case Jessica's hugging, and a brow lifts questioningly.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"Sure did. Buzzby McRobot went haywire. So did everything else around here with AI." Jess pauses here to look Janet over. "Oh...right, your...twin. So yeah, maybe it is a good idea to get you away from the others, hmm?" She pushes a button on the elevator and leans against Janet, maybe a little too firmly. Maybe trying to pin her against the wall. "How do I know you aren't the twin?" Jess asks as the doors close.

Iron Man has posed:
"Ugh, proving it AGAIN?" gripes the 'Janet', huffy about it. The elevator is moving, though. "Look, just so you feel better about all this, let's get the quizzing out of the way," she says, extending a hand to poke the 'stop' on the elevator. She drew her hands out of the pockets to do it, which have a rather horrible tremor to them. She pauses, stopping, and then brings her hands out to show Jessica. "I really am shaking, aren't I?" she says, worried, hands low, showing the other woman.

As soon as that distraction is out, though, the attack comes: close range, and harsh: a heavy concussive eye blast aimed right at Jessica's chest.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Call it spider sense, call it heightened awareness...Whatever it is, Jess knew something was coming by the expression on "Janet's" face. She slams a hand on the emergency alarm and thwips out two webs in the imposter's direction, keeping the case tucked securely beneath one arm. She didn't know what to expect, but it seemed like a good base plan.

At the concussive blast, Jess flies backward, hitting the elevator wall, as she hits a button on her collar. Her comm is open, now. Even if she isn't quite talking yet. Instead, she jerks the two webs with as much strength as she has left, to pull the imposter to her and give her a fighting chance.

Iron Man has posed:
Alarms scream into action, and the elevator's lights change immediately into blazing red. The Avengers mansion is well prepared to respond to attack and problems.

The attacking imposter, though, doesn't seem to be extremely concerned with it yet. She blasts one web away, but the other lands on her forearm, and she's hauled sideways towards Jessica as her forcefield comes online: Jessica may suddenly have a very hard forcefielded opponent crashing towards her, with a lot of unnatural strength.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"You suck, AND you cheat!" Jess laments with a groan, as she thwips a few more lines, an attempt to cocoon her sucking, cheating foe, spider-style. What the hell do you want with me?" Then, she remembers the question that NotJanet asked right before the attack. She doesn't like the possible effects, but Jess opens the case, and takes out the gun. If she doesn't, she stands more chance of losing it. As she lifts the gun, she can feel and hear the crackle of broken ribs and sternum rubbing against one another. No...that's not good. She flips up the radar display, and does her best to level the gun.

Iron Man has posed:
The reaction to the gun is a big one. The case opening caused a frenzy of sudden attention: the gun is either dangerous to the 'Janet', or she really, really wants it. Or both.

The gun in Jess's hands, as she fumbles it out, glares with a clear reading, point blank, on the little radar: there's a foe RIGHT THERE in the elevator. And a lot of dots all around the elevator, as the droids rush to respond to the security problem. But yes, the gun has a target. In the form of the attacker now lunging with a superpowered series of punches to try to knock the gun loose, or break Jessica's arms - both are win, for the angry attacker. Her eyes glow with a charge-up of an energy attack, blistering yellow: preparing for a massive bolt.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jess doesn't have time to wait. No time to angst over the possibility that she might fry more drones. The gun has a target, and Jess pulls the trigger, holding it down like Wade showed her. "Eat Psssssshh, Bitch," Jess utters through gritted teeth, as she attempts to turn NotJanet into a dickbush. (Because logic went out the window when bones started breaking.)

Iron Man has posed:
Not-Janet goes for the gun, grabbing onto the front of it, as the trigger is pulled. The energy fires and ricochets against and inside the hand and arm. Small explosions rip down across the forearm, ejected energy bursting from the veins down the limb as shrapnel and systems eject and haywire wildly.

The attacker doesn't scream but she does hiss, disoriented, but brings in the other hand to rip the gun free of Jessica, even as her right arm entirely malfunctions. She fires her eye-lasers, half-power, and lunges straight up towards the roof.

It almost works out: she bangs hard onto the ceiling, denting it, before crashing to one knee on the floor.

The robots and drones coming in to help have gone a bit confused, and there's clanging and movement all around the elevator, as the elevator itself gets a mixed message, and begins to suddenly lift, the doors opening, showing the interior wall as the elevator travels upwards...

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
What Jess lacks in orientation, she more than doubles in brute strength. She doesn't let go of the gun, exactly, but it gets ripped out of her hands nonetheless. When NotJanet falls to the floor, Jess moves to web up whatever parts of the imposter that she can, trying to wrestle the gum from her grasp, trying to push her toward the open door and against that moving elevator shaft , because it looks so cool when things get beheaded that way in movies.

Iron Man has posed:
The whole of the malfunctioning arm is a great target for webbing, as is the leg on that same side, because both are stationary. The imposter is flung sideways towards the open door, back forced towards the wall. Sparks fly against the forcefield that flickers on and off against her back as she's rubbed forcefully against it!

The elevator gets to the top, though, and the attacker realizes tehre's an open hall behind her suddenly. With force, she suddenly ejects the arm with force, sending it hurtling into Jessica's possession as she falls backwards onto the floor in the main floor hallway. She's entirely silent verbally: she's become a viciously efficient machine, her back torn open and lots of her hair missing, in addition to the arm.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica suddenly finds herself wrestling with a disembodied and webby arm, as it tries to strangle her. "Wait! You left...your arm...!!" Jess calls out in desperation as she has lost the gun. Lost the imposter. And is now certain she is bring strangled by just am arm. Little more than Jess had coffee to cope with for one day...The shock has worn off, and the pain of broken bones has begun to cloud her mind. Maybe...maybe it's time for a little nap. Just for a few minutes. She'll catch NotJanet when she wakes.

Iron Man has posed:
The imposter fires the gun at the massive security drone that showed up in the hallway, and runs as quickly as she can through the front of the mansion. Her forcefield flicks and bursts with energy as the mansion responds, pelting her with suppressive fire as she attempts to make her escape....
