Cast of Characters: Red Hood, Shadowcat, Rogue

Red Hood has posed:
"So, I take it I can't just go up to your room and change, huh?" Jason's asking Kitty as he stands outside on the driveway with her, reaching to grab his bag from the trunk. "You know, if you were going to out my Gotham activities to everyone tonight, you could have told me first." He is just a tad upset about this as he grabs the duffle. "Plus, they probably think I'm like a Robin or some shit."

There's a snort at that as he blows out his breath, and glances aside to her. "You know that I'm different in the field. That I have to be." he comments quietly. "What I am out there, and what you know - what they know - are two seperate things. I'm not sure if I can..." Get himself to trust? He's not even sure he can say it.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde reaches over to rest her hand on Jason's. "They only know that you're my boyfriend, Jason Todd," she tells him. "A security consultant with great detective skills. If you want to leave it at that, you can, Jason." She glances down at the bag that his gear is in. "If you are willing to share your identity with them? I trust them. All of them you met. With my life. In fact, all but Laura have saved my life in some way, most on more than one occasion. But, I won't give your identity away, I told you that."

She smiles up at him. "But I would like if my team knew you how I do, I won't tell you otherwise. But it's your decision. If you just want to come along as civilian security consultant Jason Todd, they won't know otherwise," she tells him.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue had gone another way inside of the mansion, up to her room to get some stuff, put a few other things away... ya know, whatever it is Rogues do up there. It was enough time for Kitty and Jason to get some private words in together in the front yard of the mansion and school.

Moments later though and Jason might see a side of Rogue he'd not seen before, because she's up in the air above the school... now, would he happen to look up and see a flying woman? Well thats up to him to do or not. But what he'll definitely see is, that the woman in the gold and green bodysuit, leather jacket, and wild brown and white hair, is now suddenly dropping out of the sky and landing beside where Kitty and he are!

Tall thigh-high yellow boots slam down onto the drive way, their wedged heels providing support for the Southern Belle as she lands beside them, turns toward them and just grins with all kinds of happiness expressed upon her youthful facial features.

A second of pause though... her eyes darting from one to the other. Her right hand raising up and a gloved finger pointing to one of them, then the other.

"Ya'll were talkin'a bout me just then, weren't ya?" She acuses, mostly for funsies.

Red Hood has posed:
"Oh honey, you're sweet, but I'm not gonna get naked in front of all of them, if that's the thing." Jason responds with a small smirk as Kitty makes her remark about them knowing him as she does. And then Rogue arrives, and Jason gives a snort of a laugh. "...unless of course, it's her. She's seen /everything/." he says with a roll of his eyes, as he settles the bag on his shoulder.

He's not sure what to say at this moment. All he knows is that he trusts Katherine, and it is in her that he places his trust, as he looks to Kitty. And there's a nod. The ball's in her court.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde goes up on her toes to kiss Jason's lips. "I think it'll be for the best, in the long run. More allies, and trustworthy ones," she tells him. Their eyes linger on each other for a few more heartbeats before she turns to flash Rogue a knowing smile. "You always know when we're talking about you!" she exclaims with a warm laugh. "And don't think I didn't notice Lockheed's cheese breath," she adds with her own finger waggle towards Rogue.

Kitty looks back to Jason and smiles over at him. "Rogue's as close as I have to a sister. We were roomies together, even," she says. "Just don't touch her skin. Kind of will knock you out, in the literal sense. But she's still entirely lovable," Kitty says, leaning over to give Rogue a side-hug on her covered places.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue flashes a grin at Jason and nods her head gently once or twice small little nods. "Everything." She whispers in a hotly kinda way, just for fun, of course. Then she's grinning and placing her yellow gloved hands onto her hips in that wonderfully shapely suit she's wearing that doesn't hide much of herself either!

Her eyes drift over to Kitty and she grins. "Hey." She says to her friend. "I got a whole plastic tub of'em the other night, I was gonna throw'em at Remy, but Lockheed is just way more fun." She says, still grinning.

With a heavy sigh though she nods toward the south. "Hey. I'm gonna fly over t'Salem Center, check out that Occult shop. They said they think they got a copy of this board game, its probably not gonna help us but at least we'll have a full version of it t'look at for reference'n all. Won't take long. I can meet up with ya'll after I grab it."

Red Hood has posed:
"Why don't you have a suit like that?" Jason asks Kitty playfully. "You have the curves to pull it off." There's a tease offered to his girlfriend, before he sighs, and turns his attention to the gorgeous Southern belle. "It was called 'Tempt Fate'." he reminds her. And then he draws in a breath. "Look. This isn't easy for me, because well. I'm not used to this whole.. team thing my girlfriend has here. Frankly, just means more loopholes for failure."

"But it's what she has, and it's what I have to accept. And I'm gonna try to step into this right. So." he takes a breath, and offers his hand to Rogue. "I'm Jason Todd. And I used to be Robin."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde didn't expect Jason to reveal his other identity. So that he chooses to just brings the most beautifully warm smile to Kitty's face. She looks over to Rogue as he offers his hand. "Like... Batman and Robin. So, my boyfriend's a hero. Great big damn hero even," she says warmly. Because Kitty is at heart a computer geek, so must quote Firefly.

She reaches over, brushing her hand over Jason's back and shining that smile at him some more. "We've patrolled a bit together," Kitty tells Rogue. Kitty looks back to Jason, just beaming at him. Oh yes. Someone is getting lucky tonight.

Rogue has posed:
With her hands still on her hips, Rogue looks from one of them to the other as they both talk and both of them share a little more information on Jason's true nature. As the revelations roll out, they don't seem to have much effect on the southern belle's staring face, but slowly, a smile creeps across her lips. Her green eyes look from Kitty, back to Jason, back to Kitty and then back to Jason.

"Thats one'a Batman's partners, right?" She's not really 'up' with the Super Hero names and exploits-of. Even when she was with the Avengers, she just didn't really know many of them. She doesn't watch the news or follow stories online like so many others in this world, she just kind of lives in her own little bubble and when this stuff comes up? She doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings!

"Well thats neat." She settles on saying before she looks Jason up and down then. "So I mean, I figured you were just a gym nut... But I guess ya got some skills t'back up them lovely abs I see hidin' behind them shirts'a yours." Now she's just pouring it on. She looks over to Kitty then and reaches out to offer a high five to her friend with a gloved left hand.

Red Hood has posed:
That draws just a hint of a blush. "What, you think she's only dating me for the money?" Jason asks with a smirk as he shoulders the bag. "Alright, Kitty, you have a room I can change into my gear at? I promise not to drag you in there." He just shakes his head, hand reaching down to cover those same abs with an unconscious laugh. "Apparently you missed all the scars as well."

Rolling his eyes, he glances towards Kitty, waiting for her to tell him where he should be going - otherwise, you know, behind a bush would be fine.

Shadowcat has posed:
A soft breeze blows across the school grounds, the warm spring day keeping it from feeling too cool as it stirs the hair of Kitty and Rogue. The sun drifts across the sky, with only one or two small clouds overhead as if just wanting to provide a little variation on the beautiful blue overhead.

Kitty smiles as she watches Jason upon up to her bestie about those secret parts of his life that were only revealed to her by unfortunate providence. This is one of those perfect moments that she is going to treasure for some time to time.

"Sure, I'll take you up to my room," Kitty tells Jason with a smile. "Rogue's still in the one that we shared. Got a fireplace and all, I really need to see if I can't find an upgrade for myself there," she jokes. "Will have to take you by later to see it. Can you show the dent in the one wall where I was struggling with my power one night and knocked myself out running into the wall," she says with a laugh.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is now just grinning at the both of them and exchanging her stare from one to the other as they talk, but Kitty gets a light nod of her head. "I remember tha tnight. I came back inta the room and found ya all sprawled out across the floor." She laughs a little. "I mean, I was concerned at first, a'course, but when ya shot back up, well, I don't know. maybe I just laugh at mean things." She huffs out a heavy and sharp sigh.

"My room's still in the student wing though, but its at the fronta the hall, I think its meant t'be like a supervisor spot for that wing'a the school, ya know the female dorms. But, I ain't never been given a badge or nothin' official. Maybe I should ask Jean about that. I'd really love a good sash. I'd look great in a sash." Now she's just rambling.

Rogue's right hand reaches up then to stroke her hair out of her face from the wind casting it about. "So, ya'll want me t'meet ya somewhere?" She asks them lastly.

Red Hood has posed:
"We're going to Gotham? There's a Big Belly Burger there." Jason offers in thought as he grins. "Dunno. Gonna wear anything else with the sash?" he asks. What, she's seen him naked. And he prepares to move out of the way of Kitty's swat, as he gives a nod of his head. "Yeah. We can meet there. Or if Kitty wants to give you the address to my place."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde does indeed make a swat towards Jason. To answer Rogue's earlier question, Kitty says to her fellow X-man, "He's really good at hand to hand combat. Better than me." Kitty says that with obvious pride in her voice. "I imagine we're going to take the jet-" Kitty says, and then pauses to look at Jason.

"By the way. We have a jet. Think you'll like it. I mean, I know other people do too. Batman kinda shot that Sentinel that was after me from one. But, it's pretty sweet, I think you'll like it," Kitty tells him with a grin.

She glances towards the school and tells Jason, "So, most of the students don't know about our team. Or the underground facility. Or the jet. So even in the school itself, we need to be sure we're alone to talk about some things."

Kitty chuckles about Big Belly Burger. "But we could meet up there, sure, and then meet the others at the factory or warehouse or whichever it is we're going to."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue just grins at the two of them, Jason's question and Kitty's reaction. "Hey now." She responds. "I do what I want in my room, and wear whatever I want, or don't want." She adds to the tease to fuel the fire and fan the flames, its what she does!

The jet talk gets her a soft nod as well. "Heck of a plane, that one. Absolutely love tinkerin' with it." Thanks to Carol she's got quite a love for jets and all things aviation, even if she doesn't need one to fly herself about.

For a second she bites down on her bottom lip and then bobs her head in another little nod. "Shoot me the info on my phone, and I'll go wherever ya'll say." She then tells them both. "I'll head over t'Salem now though." She starts to walk toward the well manicured front lawn of the school property, a bit of a sway in her step as she goes. "Stay classy, you two." She says over her shoulder at them with a slight grin before she slips a pair of stylish aviator sunglasses on, then suddenly shoots off into the sky on a arching path out toward the south over the trees around Greymalkin Lane.
