Star Shimmer has posed:
The morning sun had brought a warm surprise for the young hero who had been recovering from a gunshot wound. She stood and no pain at all. Walking around, still no pain. Jumping jacks? Completely fine. Everything just started working out! The young woman is quite happy over this. That means its time for her to return to actual action. Not just flying around in her Violet underwear, which it pretty much is. She quickly sent a message to meet at her Address that evening to Dinah. Then, She hit button to contact Batwoman.

The day was quiet. Autumn spent the day working out and trying to get herself back into shape to take several thousand beatings. She even has gone as far as to make up some tea and some pastries. Yup, everything that could be needed for this little get together.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance got the message. It didn't seem urgent, so she decides to go as just Dinah. She has her black wig on, and drives in a calm manner, only having the Harley in low gear. She only drives like a maniac while crimefighting. She parks outside Autumn's place, takes the helmet off, adjusts her blouse, and goes up to the door.

Batwoman has posed:
Batwoman shows up above the apartment, crouched above the window dressed in black with crimson emblazoned on her chest. She is frowning when she sees the woman disembark from her motorcycle and head to Autumn's door. Rather than mae anything of it the largely invisible caped figure chooses to simply watch quietly from above, blue eyes intense behind her mask. Unexpected developments.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn opens the door and welcomes Canary in. Then she moves over to the window and pokes her head out. "Umm, Batwoman? If you are around here? I could really use your help." She leaves the window open and promptly moves in to go pour some tea.

"Dinah, thank you for dropping by, Batwoman will be here soon enough. I know I'm being secretive but honestly, what I am talking about, I don't want to run the risk of anyone picking up on. I can't trust my phone right now. I can only trust my friends and my family. Anyone else... well... I had killer frost try to put me on ice recently. So Its best if I keep things quiet.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance shrugs. "And I didn't bring my fishnets," she mutters softly as she ponders. "So... what's going on, Autumn?" she asks, glancing out the window. "I thought I felt someone watching me..."

Batwoman has posed:
Kate enters the apartment silently, moving in a manner that even a superhuman would be hard-pressed to note. It's one of her specialties after all. Black fluttering behind her, red hair sweeping across her shoulders to frame her face. It's starkly striking, a hint of darkness and neo-gothic terror even in full light. Batwoman takes a deep breath and looks between the two women carefully. "Killer Frost? Why was he after you?" Dinah is being watched. Closely. Can you blame her, really? "You didn't mention company."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn takes a deep breath. "That explains why you felt someone watching you." She smiles a little. "Tea? I have plenty and a few snacks to munch on if you like." She offers with hope.

"Okay I will get to it and explain everything. About 6 weeks ago, I was threatened by the mob. They want me out of Gotham. I was going to leave but then everything changed. I started down a new road in life and honestly I don't want to leave. Then I got wounded and was unable to leave even if I wanted to."

Autumn takes a sip of her own tea and rubs her neck. "Anyway, when I didn't leave, they decided to send this homicidal ice woman after me, Killer Frost. They started hurting civilians. I was out shopping for some stuff and she tried to kill me. I had my ring on and it protected me. Some people fought with her, Umm The Hulk and Koriand'r. She's in the hospital but I still have a major threat out there. They are going to come at me again."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance nods slowly. "Oh - I'm sorry, I dont' think we've been introduced," she muses as she takes the black wig off, setting it to the side as she extends her hand to Batwoman, her bleached blonde hair visible. "I'm Dinah Lance, known as Black Canary. And... I've heard that we're both interested in helping this young lady achieve her potential." She smiles. "It's an honor to meet you. Batman has said some nice things about you." She then returns to her seat. "You _do_ have a problem."

Batwoman has posed:
Batwoman blinks once and then slowly tilts her head. She looks between Autumn and Dinah few times before taking adeep breath. "I don't think I've been formally introduced to anyone," she notes rather quietly. Then she sighs and straightens to her full six feet of height. "Katherine Kane. Kate." She removes her mask- and a wig comes with it, showing that the woman's actual red hair is much shorter, a sideswept bob.

In this configuration the batsuit looks more like body armor. WHich it is. Kate casts her vibrantly blue eyes toward the plate of cookies and then back to the women in front of her. "This sounds like it must have been quite the show. The Mob? Huntress would lvoe to be in on this..." Kate shakes her head.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn nods, "Tell me about it. I have a tendancy to find the worst possible situations." She sits and downs some more tea. "So I told Batman that When I am healed, I will be paying them a visit. I can't do it alone."

She snickers. "Anyway, I have a plan. I can't go in as Nightingale or a Star Sapphire. The person they are threatening is Autumn. Not those two. As such I have to deal with them dressed down. They are going to search me. So no weapons. I'll have my ring. Thats about it. I'm thinking maybe, have Batwoman keeping close watch from the shadows and Black Canary within ear shot. Batwoman, you are the Stealth Expert. Canary is... Loud from personal experience. I'd rather not tip our hand. I'm going to request them to back off me and so on. They will likely reject this. I've caused them trouble so they want me out of here. I'm going to decline, they will likely do something like put a gun on me."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance nods. "I can do stealth. It's just boring." She shrugs. "I prefer an honest fistfight. And I'm only loud hwen I want to be." She smiles. "I'm also great at ventriloquism and voice mimickry." She grins. "Believe me, it's quite fun to mess with a group of criminals this way." She glances at Batwoman. "So - perhaps we can have a lot of fun with these guys. How long do you have before you're healed up, Autumn?"

Batwoman has posed:
"I can sneak up on pretty much anyone. I snuck up on Power Girl once," Kate obseves, tilting her head as she does so. "So I think we can manage." THis stated Kte takes a deep breath and looks between the people in front of her, studying them both in turn. "This sounds as if it will be quite the project. I'll pull Huntress in if she ends up being available. Otherwis we have our work cut out for us." She shrugs her shoulders slowly and then tkaes a deep breath. "Your plan seems to be reasonable enough. Your ring won't let them shoot you, right?"

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn nods, "Its stopped bullets before. I'm pretty sure it can do that again. Its stopped lightning as well recently. Don't ask." She shutters on that one. "Anyway if either of you have any further ideas, please let me know. This is the first time I've ever planned anything like this. Heck I've never stood up to the mob before."

Quietly she finishes off her tea. "As far as how close I am to being healed." She turns and pulls up the skirt of her dress just a little to show off her calves. There is no sign of there ever having been a gunshot there. No bruising. No Scarring. Nothing. "No pain at all. I'm completely fine."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance shrugs as she immediately swings her hand down to slap where the wound was rather hard - to test Autumn's asseration. "It also handled a 200-decibel sonic blast at pointblank range. I did go eash on her." She then sips some tea, nodding slowly. "How did you come to become Batwoman, anyway? I'm quite sure that honor is not just bestowed on anyone - but sneaking up on someone with Kryptonian level hearing is seriously impressive."

Batwoman has posed:
"I called myself Batwoman. It was during one of Batman's more absent peiods. Bats are a symbol of Gotham now. It's something criminals respect and respond to. Batman and I have pretty much seen eye to eye on the issue." This is stated fairly earnestly, though Kate is wearing a thoughtful frown and continuing to scan everything with a level of hyperawareness usually reserved for the paranoid and people in warzones. "Not even a scar, Autumn?" A beat. "One of us has to catch abreak and keep her perfect complexion, I guess." Kate even smiles a bit at that.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smiles and listens quietly. Then *SWAT!!!* She fights back the pain from the impact of the swat. It doesn't hurt like the gunshot did. She just watches as her skin goes red and welts up. Her ring is on and immediately her body develops a violet aura. The red quickly vanishes. "I'm fine. And nope. No scarring. The ring apparently makes sure its wearer is safe. Apparently it's doing something else to me because its picked up on another illness I have. Its really odd."

She laughs a little, "Yes though, No scar, no anything. Nice to know I get to cute for a long time coming!" She giggles. "And yes, 200db Sonic blast. Shattered my first construct and sent me flying. I think I could handle it a bit better. Things are going crazy with this thing and it is actually fun to learn. The curve on it isn't very steep as long as I hold onto the love that is in my heart."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance smiles. "Oh, as I said, I went easy on you. I can go up to 300 and maybe a bit more if I strain myself." She smiles. "Also, I met this guy recently who might be an asset in this - the best archer I've ever seen. He goes by Green Arrow and dresses like Robin Hood. And... he's so handsome too."

Batwoman has posed:
"...Robin Hood? Really?" Kate does not sound impressed but at least her tone isn't overtly judgmental. She shakes her head and takes a deep breath, laughing softly as she does. "I've been doing some hunting with the Huntress. She's pretty interesting. And gorgeous, honestly." She gives a slow shrug of her shoulders then. "Another illness, hmm? Autumn, what might that be?" Kate's tone suggests she has some guesses she's chosing not to offer.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smiles to Dinah and laughs a little, "Are you sure you want him in on this? I mean, if anything happens to him, will you be able to keep your cool? That love you have for him is feeling a little stronger, Or my senses are just starting to improve." She winks playfully at that.

Then therei s the other issue that is brought up. "Well Batwoman, It pertains to me being Transgendered. According to Libby, the AI within my ring, Its picked up on the issues I have. The dysphoria and such. Its begun fixing that. I mean I accept myself as I am. I love myself and stuff. But some things no matter how hard I try I can't shut out. So its 'fixing' me. I should probably find out what she meant by that but... I've been feeling pretty good of late.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance blushes. "He is quite the romantic. First date a climb through a swwers, second date a derailing train." She shrugs. "I'm sure that our third date will be something simialrly fun - I bet that attacking the mob is right up our alley." She then raises an eyebrow. "If I was you, I'd ask your magic ring what it meant by 'fixing' you. That could mean anything."

Batwoman has posed:
"I have an idea what it probably means," Kate muses, but she seems to mostly be musing to herself. "You should probably check," Kate agrees, echoing Dinah as she turns slightly toface Autumn properly. "Third date attacking the mob? Careful. At that rate you'll be married by Christmas."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn laughs, "Oh that would be fun! A Christmas Apocalypse Wedding." She shakes her head as she just giggles over the prospects. She nods, "Yes Lets find out!" She speaks up, "Libby, Audio mode, English language."

"Yes Autumn, what do you wish to know?"

"I need to know what you meant. How are you fixing my gender issues?"

"Autumn, your mind does not match your body. If the ring were to alter your mind, you would lose who you are. Therefore it is altering your body. It is just cellular manipulation."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance raises an eyebrow. "... so... it's actually going to change you into a girl?" she asks blankly, not sure what that means. "And... sure. But first I should try a normal meeting with the Green Arrow first." She ponders. "If that ring can actually change you into a real girl, then..." She trails off. "Waht can't that thing do then?"

Batwoman has posed:
"Ah. Thought so," is Kate's laconic response to the ring announcing its intentions. She looks completely unconcerned with the affair. Batwoman is doing that know-it-all Bat thing, apparently. She takes a deep breath and slowly exhales. "That will probably be rather awkward for a bit," Kate adds. "Efficiency is a plus."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn is completely wide eyed. "I think... I need more tea. Can I get anyone else some more tea? I have cookies as well." She quickly gets up and moves over to grab some tea and a couple cookies. "This is just a lot to take in."

SHe moves back to her seat. "So... I'm going to be fully altered like that. Didn't you think to ask first? I mean Its great but, how did you know I wouldn't disagree!"

"The medicine you are taking does what the ring is doing but only in part."

She makes a little face. "Smart ass."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Lance nods. "Well, I'm in for whatever you set up, Autumn. I love a good fight. That being said, I gotta get back to Sherwood Florist. End of the month inventory stuff. Running a business is a lot of work." She smiles as she rises. "And... a line from the Harry Potter book series comes to mind. Don't trust something that can think for itself if you can't see its brain. You'd never see me with one of those computer things on my person."

Batwoman has posed:
"I like your ring's AI, by the way. Very chic." Kate's voice is a bit droll but the compliment seems to be genuine enough. She takes a deep breath and then slowly exhales, rocking her weight from left to right. "That's exactly what I would have said. Anyway, Autumn, if you want to get into a fight with the mob then I'm in."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smiles, "Then its on. As for Libby, I think maybe I need to make a trip off planet to get some real answers. After all An intelligent computer is only as intelligent then those that load the information. THose people are on the planet Zameron according to Libby."

Batwoman has posed:
"I mean. It's probably a computer database that is ridiculously old and to which hundreds or thousands or tens of thousands of people have contributed," Kate observes quietly. She takes a deep breath then, shifting her weight from left to right. "So when you go just keep in mind what you are heading out for. It might e a long time before you get to come back." She shrugs her shoulders then, slowly leaning her head back as it does. "Take care of yourself, kid. Okay? I think we're a bit past the part where I can protect you anymore."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smiles and gives Kate a hug. "Hey, I still need to learn to fight. Just because I can zap things with light doesn't mean I can always depend on some power ring. I'm still Nightingale." She smiles a little. "If these things are as powerful as they I've been hearing, Itm ight be shorter then I think. First thing is first though. The Mob needs dealt with. They sent a meta after me to kill me. I was lucky. We can't let that happen to other people."

Batwoman has posed:
Kate nods slowly and stands stiffly for a second as she's hugged. Then a strong arm goes around Autumn and she hugs the young woman tightly against her chest. A few breaths later and Kate releases her. Closing her eyes for a second. "No, we can't," Kate agrees quietly. "And fine. I can keep teaching you how to fight with your hands if you like. You've come al ong way in a pretty short amount of time but you're still an amateur, honestly. There's a lot left to teach. I guess you don't need to worry about the bruises anymore... But you can't heal yourself during a training session. Afterward. Clear?"

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smiles and nods, "I won't wear my ring during training. Not just because it will heal me but because of this." With a smile, Violet light ignites around her body causing her to glow. "Its like a force field around me and it keeps me at a normal temperature. Plus I can breathe in it. Its like wearing an environment suit. Its really weird. Honestly I know want to find a team. I'm willing to learn anything I can. The ring, its just a primer really. Sure it gives me powers but, Its me behind it and who decides how I should work it. Its kinda surreal I mean the thing is powerful enough to take out buildings and Here I am testing the waters with it."

Batwoman has posed:
"Well, don't go knocking down any in Gothaam," Kate respodns quietly, nodding. Then she looks away toward the door. "I still have patrols to do tonight," the redhead adds as she is pulling her mask back one, completely with her long red hair. It might even be her own hair, really. Kat is taking a deep breath and walking backward toward the window. "Get plenty of sleep. I will be getting you up early tomorrow." With that she apparently intends to depart.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn Smiles, "I'm looking forward to it. Be safe out there, BW." She gives a little wave and takes a long sip of her tea. "This is going to get interesting isn't it?" She asks herself.

"Only if you want it to. You could just lead a boring life if thats what you choose to do."

"Libby, nothing in my life has been normal since I moved into this apartment. I don't expect it to change now. Time to charge the ring." She states and pulls out the violet lantern to charge.
