Date of Scene: 04 May 2019

Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Thor, Hela, Captain America, Overlord

Thor has posed:
There's a clatter and a clink of glass being shuffled and shoved around the interior of a refrigerator, it's a sound that carries, signalling to most anyone that grazing is happening in the kitchen. For most people it's only a minute or two, but the people of the mansion they know when it's Thor doing the grazing.
It mainly has to do with how long it takes. He stands in the fridge, door open and the chill escaping. One hand rests on the jam as he frowns and looks within. So it's the length at first. But then there's the fact that he argues with the AI.
// The door is ajar, please close the door. //
    "Bide, I am deciding."
A few moments later, // The door is ajar, please close the door. Temperature decreasing. //
"Alright, alright. One moment." As Thor then reaches up and pushes the small lever that is depressed when the door is normally closed. For an instant the lights flicker out inside the fridge, but then they kick back on as Thor peers once more. Thirty seconds later...
// The door is once again ajar. Please _actually_ close the door. //
"Cursed machine," He mutters... and keeps looking.

Hela has posed:
Something has been bothering Hela, something which has a lot to do with the most despicable woman she has had the mispleasure of meeting. A creature of lavish pampered court life, the likes of which Hela and Odin extinguished in their glorious days of conquests. Why should such a vain thing find itself on Asgard's throne, utterly undeserved, purely because Thor is easily manipulated? She has come to her conclusion, and decided to share her concerns with her brother, only he wasn't to be found on New Asgard.

Good old Bjarke was there to tip her about Thor's other 'job' and his so called 'teammates'. While she didn't think much of it, she still needed to talk to him, so with zero regards to what the Avengers may think, a simple use of magic and swirling shadows form out of nothing in the midst of the Avengers' kitchen.

Out walks Hela in her regal Asgardian armor, form fitting, in black and dark green, a royal cape billowing behind her as she steps out into the kitchen and the portal closes behind her.

"There you are brother dear," she says with a bemused expression, looking around at the fancy modern kitchen and just hearing that fridge telling King Thor what to do. Incredible, these Midgardians invented a machine to boss them around!

Simultaneously, unbeknownst to her, the Avengers' Mansion with the fine security set by Tony Stark, informs the others of an unauthorized presence.

Captain America has posed:
The sounds of rifling through the fridge, along with its accompanying electronic chiding in a voice not too unlike JARVIS, are routinely ignored by Steve in the library. He can faintly hear the contraption take up its warning again about loss of cold and grins to himself as he jots down another thing to research in his personal notebook. In a button-down shirt of grey and jeans, he's semi-casual at the laptop he's currently using.

However, a flashing program interrupts in the middle of his screen in a flash of red and bright text: WARNING - INTRUDER ON PREMISES.

Slamming the computer shut, the Captain's on his feet and leaving the wheeled chair spinning after his exit. He skids out into the foyer and then, heaving an odd voice, heads for the kitchen in particular.

He arrives and then comes to an abrupt halt yet again. His eyes flick between Hela and Thor before returning to the former and narrowing a touch. "Don't think I've met you before... A friend, Thor?" he asks of the Asgardian royal.

Thor has posed:
"Sister dear." Thor says upon her arrival, rising up from the fridge and looking at her with a quirked eyebrow. She likely has never seen Thor garbed in such a way, withouth armor nor the manner of their people. He's bare foot, wearing just the same orange jams shorts as from yesterday... the same jams shorts that made the rounds on the internet. But, to his credit his black Club Mjolnir t-shirt is clean but it's a few sizes too big for him and hangs loosely.
"What brings you out and about the land of mortals?" He asks her just as Steve enters the room. The Captain gets a glance from Thor, his good eye widening for a moment with inquiry, but his smile produced easily. He's not concerned, at least.
"Ah, Captain. Have you met my sister?" One and uncurls towards her as Thor gestures, "Princess Hela of Asgard, meet Captain Rogers of the Avengers."
With his duty performed he cracks the top open of his can of beer, the liquid frothing for a moment as he catches it by tilting it back and taking a few swallows.

Hela has posed:
"Friend...?" Hela sounds offended by Steve's question, frowning ever so lightly, before remarking in assertion, "I am no mere friend..." but she leaves it to Thor, apparently, to introduce her to his friend.

She does only just now, noticed what Thor is wearing. After the distraction of the weird high tech kitchen, the talking fridge, the fact there's a fridge at all, and then Steve. "Brother...are you dressed in...some kind of peasant of Midgard garb?" But her shocked expression turns into a bit of a smirk, even a playful one, as she notes where the shirt is from. "Ah...Club Mjolnir, most appropriate," of course she pronounces the name of the mythical weapon correctly, and in a manner that almost suggests speaking the name of a dear lover.

"I had most pressing words to share with you, brother," Hela's tone remarkably changes on the spot, losing all semblance of mirth, "about this bride to be of yours...I trust you've had some deliberation about the purpose that brought her to you?" She gives Thor some benefit of the doubt.

Hela offers the faintest of inclines of her head towards Steve, "I know not what Avengers are, but if it be a noble house, you have my respect, Captain Rogers, friend of King Thor."

Captain America has posed:
Taking the majority of his cues from Thor, the Captain stands down. It can be seen in how he ceases to reach subtly for one of the kitchen chairs, as if he'd intended to throw it dead at the intruding vision that is Hela. He clears his throat and instead, sketches the barest bow towards the princess along with a nod of his head.

"We'll say it's a noble house. Nice to meet you, Princess Hela, sister of Thor. Can I get you anything while you're visiting? There's beer," he says as he glances at Thor briefly.

"JARVIS, stand down. Override First Avenger," follows a lot more quietly with a habitual look towards the ceiling to follow. The soft mechanical whirs of self-defensive technology winding down can be heard hidden away as they are.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller was here working with Black Panther, andon his way out when the alarm went off. Hr checked for a moment making sure it was not going off cause of him. A moment's hesitation of if he should, and the desire to help outways a possible wiser desicion and he heads towards where the alarm alerted as trouble. He will come to the doorway and stop as he does not see a fight going on.

Thor has posed:
As for Thor, he's looking between Hela and Cap, while standing there in front of the refrigerator with a beer in hand and held to his lips as he takes several swallows. "You like this?" He finally says to Hela, holding out his t-shirt with one hand and looking down at it, then back up towards her. "It was gifted to me, the place isn't bad, a little garish for my taste but what can you do?"
With that comment tossed away casually, Thor then gestures towards Steve. "The Avengers are heroes, sister. They are the protectors of this world and I am honored to be counted as one of them. The strongest one, yes, but still one of them." He gives a nod of his head and then asks, "Though yes, either of you want a beer?"
That said he pulls the door open again to the refrigerator.

Hela has posed:
Hela only spares half a glance at Joseph, as he remains silent and still by the door, not daring to set foot within the kitchen, she assumes he is one of the servants of House Avengers, and likely doesn't wish to displease his Captain Rogers with unruly behaviour. That kind of respect in servants is to be commended, and she goes as far as stating as much to Steve Rogers, "I see you keep your servants disciplined, a commendable trait that shows alertness in any noble house, you should be most pleased."

Hela's eyes turn to Thor soon after taking note of the assumed servant and his polite waiting at the door, "I have not heard of the place," Hela says with an entirely straight face, Loki after all is a sibling, and deception is a tool in the art of war. "But, any place that deigns to hold aloft Mjolnir's name, does honor to our history, and to one of the greatest allies a warrior can have in battle." Seems like she almost speaks of the hammer as if it were a person, perhaps a close friend, hopefully Steve may have heard a similar sentiment from Thor over the years, or it would sound very odd indeed. As for Joseph, does he even know what a Mjolnir is? Beyond, perhaps a club in Hell's Kitchen?

"Who gave you such a gift, brother?" Hela inquires, before eyeing the beer in Thor's hand, "would this be the beverage Captain Rogers is offering?" She looks between Thor and Rogers, an affirmation from any one of them will do, "how fares it compared to our superior mead?" Hela asks without prejudice, Asgardian mead clearly holds superior to anything made on Midgard.

"A noble House of Protectors!" Hela combines what she heard from Captain Rogers along with what she heard from Thor, "so not entirely unlike the Valkyrior or the Einherjar," it seems this renewed understanding strike a chord with Hela, as she now extends a firm hand towards Steve Rogers, partaking in one custom of Midgard she had managed to learn, "an honor to meet you indeed, Captain Rogers!"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller will start to say something butthinks for a moment and will keep quirt. He is not sure who the lady is, but if she is Thor's sister, and she triggers the intruder alarms it maybe best to just got with hte flow. He will let one of the actual Avengers explain that, course with Cap being the one he has met, he may have some explaining to both gods. He does move to a more parade rest stances not quite military style, but he is trying to fit the bill of who the woman thinks he is.

Thor has posed:
Still holding the beer in his hand, Thor's attention is upon the t-shirt he wears for Club Mjolnir. He ponders it, holding it out with his free hand and looking at the little image of the hammer though upside down. His eyebrow quirks curiously and he says, "I am not sure I... remember."
He looks up across the way toward Hela and then states, "Ah! I tell a lie. It was Tammy. She had said it was a gift." That said Thor gives a single sharp nod.
He does, however, look across the room toward Joseph and points at him with his open beer. "I." There's a pause, then he adds. "Do not know that man." He pronounces that last in a rush as if making a confession and then looks toward Steve for clarification.

Hela has posed:
For the time being, with the impression she has, Hela continues to ignore Joseph who is clearly beneath her notice. "Tammy...?" Hela tests the name on her lips, before dimissing it with a scoff, "plain sounding name, no doubt the girl sought to elevate her status by bestowing gifts on a king, pathetic." She then points at Joseph, "this is is much better behaved than that Tammy, full aware of his status," she grants that much of a compliment to Joseph, shrugging as Thor admits to not knowing him. "As if any can expect King Thor of New Asgard, to know each and every one of Captain Rogers' servants."

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller looks over as te Captain is caled away and he will step up not running or hiding from the two Asguardians. He will nod his head in greting to them and says "My name is Joseph Miller, and I brought some information to the Captain and the Black Panther recently. Panther offered me a chance to use the Avengers weight room, to get a gauge on my strength. I was headed out when I heard the alarms and wanted to offer my assistance if it was needed.

Thor has posed:
"We don't have... servants. Per se." Thor tells Hela then takes another sip of his beer, still leaning there against the countertop in that kitchen. But when Joseph finally speaks up for himself, Thor's attention slips over to him and listens, "Ah, as you say."
He crunches the can in one hand and casually tosses it into the sink before he says, "If you were here illegally most likely various of Starks' computer wold be..." He makes a hand gestures with wiggling fingers, "Complaining loudly in their metal voices. Always demanding to know what you are doing."
But then his eyebrows lift and he turns to look towards Hela, "By the bye, why /are/ you here, sister?" He folds his arms across his chest and peers at her sidelong. "Not like you to come out and about."

Hela has posed:
"No servants for House Avengers?" Hela looks confused for a moment, before turning her dark gaze on Joseph, "so what is that?" She asks, even as Joseph proceeds to provide the information. "A courier then," Hela nods as if now having a better understanding, "I apologize for deeming you a mere servant, couriers are of great importance."

When Thor gets back to the matter at hand, Hela points a rather eeriely sinister feeling finger at Joseph, "will you swear on your life to keep what we discuss a secret? If not, I advise you leave this room, this instance," Hela demands of Joseph, waiting for his decision before answering her brother.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller hmms and nods his head, and says "As long as there is no danger to innocents or those woh live here, then you have my word not to tell anyone what you say." He will tell the woman. I am not here to interfer with your family matters. Family is a rather important thing.

Thor has posed:
A broad yaaaaawn comes from him as he turns away from the refrigerator, "I... am going to take a nap." He streeetches as he walks towards the door, bare feet slapping on the tile. Over his shoulder he says, "Sister, you are welcome to stay here as long as you wish. Enjoy yourself. I am, for now, having to stay here with the current crisis of the Sentinels. But you should not feel so bound."
He pauses as he reaches the doorjam and says sidelong towards Joseph, "I would advise you to be careful here, Joseph. As you are not in the security systems fully. Best to err on the side of caution." That said he gives a single firm nod and then wanders on out of the kitchen.

Hela has posed:
"Very well, I shall send a raven then, it should be the safest, and Joseph need not die erroneously," Hela is quite fine with that arrangement, as Thor withdraws, and she turns to look curiously at Joseph, "so you are a courier on behalf of House Avengers? Have you ever dealt with time restrained deliveries with the fate of your very house if not Midgard itself on the line? I wonder what method of travel you prefer, flying horses? Magic portal perhaps?"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller says, "will offer a smile and says "Well not officialy working for the Avengers, but I brought news of someone trying to use their name for ill will. I wished to see the one who was useing myself, others and the Avengers name stopped. Sadly, I do not have acess to any such means of travel. I mostly use a motorcycle, I built. For across the seas, it is usually ship or freight air.""

Hela has posed:
"A motorcycle?" Hela asks with a tilting of her head at this unfamiliar term, "is it like a winged horse? Or a regular horse?" She then eyes the 'rude' fridge, and tries, "an invention of Midgard perhaps? Some device for transportation that speaks ill at the user?"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller will offer her a smile, and says "An invention of Midgard if thats Earth yes, but it does not speak bad of its user, though it is a bit loud. If you would like to see one, I can show you mine, and even if your not opposed to riding behind me much like two would ride a horse, I could take you for a ride." He will offer the sister of the god of thunder.

Hela has posed:
"I do not ride behind another," Hela remarks sharply, as if the very suggestion was insulting to her. "Be grateful you are courier to House Avengers," Hela grumbles, and turns to storm away lest she harm Joseph. Only instead of walking towards the end of the room, swirling dark mists part out of thin air to open a portal, through which she walks, before it disappears to nothingness.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller will smirk a bit after she turns around, and hmms a bit "Would have thought she would be the type who wanted to do the driving so she did not have to. He does wait till she has poofed so she probably does not see him, not actually trying to piss her off it sems. He will turn and says "Ok, Jarvis, I believe it is, can you show me the way out." and he will follow the lights the A.I. gives him to lead him out.
