Cast of Characters: Superwoman, Superman, Wonder Woman

Superwoman has posed:
Suicide Slums is a nasty place and today is no different. Today, though, its particularly bad- there's a gang war on. Someone thought it be wise to give these thugs military grade weaponry- several different gangs have converged in the streets- firing wildly and without care. There must be fifty or sixty young men and women ready to die and to kill tonight.

For her part, Faora- Superwoman- is watching the chaos from on high, flying quietly and watching as the various gangs come together to murder one another. Her arms are across her chest and she takes a slow breath. "No wonder this world needs us."

Superman has posed:
Drawn by the gunfire, Superman flies in across the bock from Faora. His eyes are on the chaos below, blue eyes scanning for innocents in harm's way. That first, then we'll deal with the weapons.

Wonder Woman has posed:
When a gang war of this magnitude catches the wind and spreads across the various forms of instant-media these days, it does not take long at all for it to reach the ears of Diana Prince.

She responded in short-order as well.

Diana came in on the gangwar from the opposite direction that Superman and Superwoman were coming from, and she didn't hesitate to enter the fray!

With sword and shield, Diana swooped down and landed in the middle of the fight, crushing the pavement beneath her to not only make her presence known to all those involved, but to make a wide-spread statement that this was NOT 'okay'.

Rising up to her feet she clutched her sword in her right and swept her shield up to bare-before her body and face, peering over it at the nearest trouble-makers.

"Put down your weapons." Was the only request Diana of Themyscira would make here and now.

Superwoman has posed:
Superwoman watches as Superman hurries down to save the innocent. She's certain he can handle it- a new face has brought her interest. Wonder Woman- someone she's never seen someone quite so... fluid.

The fight, however, goes on- now that heroes were there, it became a very much 'Us vs Them' situation. The guns first turn on Wonder Woman- an obvious threat. They start to fire without any compunction.

There are many who are in the need of Superman's aide. Men and women, young and old- all huddled in fear at the actual war occurring all around them.

Superwoman rockets into action. She, unlike Superman, is focused on the men with weapons. Its a rocket of pure violence, pent up rage, anger as she begins to work her way through one particular group who turn their guns towards the woman in black and silver. Her movements are fluid and she seems more like a martial arts master than the brawling sort of fighting Big Blue if famous for.

Superman has posed:
Sueprman zips down, puttng himself between a by stander and a hail of bullets before collecting her gently and getting her to a safer location. Lather, rinse, repeat. If he's near a thug with a gun and can pull the weapon from them, he does so, but there are two real warriors here whom he knows are far more competent at taking on the threat than he is. Not that he's a slouch, they are just highly trained for that! Clark moves to do what he enjoys doing, what he's best at: Rescue.

Wonder Woman has posed:
And Diana was well aware of Superman and Sueprwoman joining the fight, which was a more than welcome addition... So far she hadn't met a Kryptonian she didn't like, she was eager for more of their world's survivors to come to Earth!

But as of right this moment, here and now, Diana Prince charged into the fray of gunfire that was redirected solely upon her. She raised her shield and charged at those with the weapons, moving at extreme speeds she didn't go OVER their cover-spaces, she went THROUGH them, sending four men flying backward and losing their grips on their guns. Two more stumbled backward and dropped onto their butts from the kinetic blast that Wonder Woman sent out afte rshe slammed into the four.

Diana spun about, swung her sword up and threw it twirling through the air where it sliced the supports on an advertisement sign that came crashing down onto the fleeing forms of several other gunmen.

And thats when she drew the lasso out! Swirling the glowing-glowing lasso around herself she walked toward a single gunman, rattling shots at her as she slapped the bullets way with her shield, then wrapped the golden lasso around his gun and pulled it from his hands with her much more considerable strength.

"Run. Or submit." Diana told the man, who simply looked around, then went to kneel down on the ground and put his hands up over his head.

Superwoman has posed:
Superwoman does much the same as Diana- she's running through control points- a blur of fists and feet and knees and elbows. There are people soon lying in the street. The numbers raising quickly as she drives forward like the Tigress she once was known as. With a flick of her foot she's got one rising in the air, caught below his knee. Pulled it up. Her fist strikes at her opponent's chest and he's on the ground, gasping for air- unable to move.

Between Diana and Faora the war is quickly being taken care of while Superman's heroics save the bystanders. He is, after all, the one they expect most to come to their aide- compassion is more or less Clark's middle name.

Superman has posed:
No it's not! It's Joseph!

When the gun fire has stopped, Superman floats in the middle of the street, eyes and ears scanning about for anyone else that may need him,but when it's clear everyone has been saved from the bullets (and where there explosions?), he looks over to Faora and Diana.

"You two okay?"

Because ...compassion is his ...not... his middle name.

Wonder Woman has posed:
By the time that Superwoman and Superman had the rest of the madness coming down and in order, Diana was up retrieving her sword from the side of a building. Pulling it from a brick wall she turned and shot back down to the ground in time to hear the question from Superman.

"Where did these guns come from?" She said, her eyes looking around at the chaos and carnage brought on by these gang members.

Diana walked over to one assault weapon and she slammed her boot down on the side of it, crushing it into two halves.

"Who would supply a fight like this in the center of a populated enviroment?" She further asked, turning back toward Superman. "This is pure madness!"

A moment later and Diana's gleaming sword was swung around behind her back and slipped back into the leather sheath attached around her armored torso.

Diana's blue eyes looked to the collection of gang members that she had wrapped up in the glowing gold lasso.

"Where did you get these weapons?" She asked all of them at the same time. Eight people in total, all wrapped up back-to-back.

Superwoman has posed:
The swath of injured behind Faora is obvious and conspicuous. Weapons broken along with arms and legs in some cases. All of them seem to be having trouble doing more than moaning in pain, as Superwoman looks over towards Superman as he approaches, she watches as Diana uses her lasso and uses it to pull information from the thugs.

They speak mostly all at once- they are compelled by the Lasso's magic. "We got'em from the boss!" they say, "He wouldn't say where he got them. We didn't ask." its almost a chorus.

Faora's eyebrows knit together as she watches all of this- curious and quiet. She looks to Kal next, speaking Kryptonian, <"What is that rope?">

Superman has posed:
<"Magic? Something she came here with. Compels complete truth. Anything else, you'll have to ask her,"> Kal replies when Diana takes over the interrogation. It gives him the time he needs to supervision about looking for clues as to where these guns came from.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana glanced over to Faora and Kal a moment before she heard the lasso'd crimianls starting to talk, while police sirens were (certainly) nearby at this point.

Diana approached the one who started talking the loudest and she reached her leather-half-gloved hand up to cup his chin in her palm and place her bare fingers against his cheeks. She aimed his face up at hers.

"Where is your boss?" She asked him then in her non-American accented voice.

The lasso compelled the thugs to tell the truth 'as they see it', so the man would only be able to tell her what he knows, or believes he knows.

Superwoman has posed:
Faora, for her part, picks up one of the still functioning rifles and works through it like an expert. She knows her way around weapons, it seems. "These are military, without a doubt." she notes as she examines the weapon, dropping the magazine and taking one of the bullets out of the magazine. "Armor piercing rounds." she continues as she hefts the bullet in her hand. "Heavier than lead." she notes, "Tungsten cores if I had to guess." She doesn't, "Something softer wrapped around it copper by the looks at it. These would shred the body armor the law enforcement wear." Superwoman then turns her attention back to the rifle itself- its got a futuristic look to it. This is current cutting edge tech, not those second hand army surplus M-16s that are so popular. "Reinforced barrel. Its designed to take heat- phosphorous rounds or the like. Its the military hardware, but with a little something extra. This can take a lot more abuse. Reminds me of black-ops gear."

Faora looks towards Wonder Woman, then as the more important question is asked. The thug swallows, struggling a moment against the magic of the lasso- fear is a powerful motivator. Its not enough, though. "He contacts us, we don't contact him. No one calls him. I don't know where he is!"

Superwoman takes a slow breath. "Wise of him. You can't trust this caliber of person."

Superman has posed:
Superman lands down delicately near Faora, listening to the man's heartbeat.

"He's frightened. Of his 'employer' or us I can't see. Does he know when the next contact will be?" Superman asks, a glimmer of maybe a plan to track this guy in his mind.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana looked to Faora as she gave a rather detailed run down on the weapon she was holding and the ammunition it held. Diana's blue eyes went from Faora's face to the singular ammo casing she pulled from the magazine. "That is a wealth of knowledge you have obtained." She quietly commented to Faora, actually impressed. It also made Di wonder just how long Faora has been on Earth.

Diana's gaze then went to Kal and she heard his question. "As long as the rope is bound about him, and the others... they will answer any of us. Not just me." She told Superman.

Diana looked back to the man who's chin she still clutched. "Answer his question. And, it most definitely is us, you should be afraid of." The Amazon Warrior told the captured man in a calm, but threatening way.

Superwoman has posed:
"What, like you're going to kill us? He will. And no, he calls- we answer." The thug states, with a smirk on his lips- as if he weren't really that afraid of the three heroes standing near him. Faora leans down to grab a pistol from one of the broken thugs near her, racking the slide and pointing it the thug's head. "You're thinking about Superman and Supergirl. I'm Superwoman." she remarks as her finger slides from the side of the weapon to the trigger.

"This is a disgustingly primitive weapon." Superwoman mentions, as she lifts the weapon quietly, raising it to her own head. Its a psychological move, to be certain. She pulls the trigger.. *BANG*. The bullet falls to the ground, useless. "And that is Wonder Woman." she notes next, as she drops the gun to the ground as if bored with it. "I have no problem hurting you to get information. I have no problem hurting your friends. I have no problem putting you in a wheelchair." Faora's threats are less graceful than Diana's- but they've clearly had an effect... perhaps it was just how little emotion crept into her voice. Beyond calm- as if she felt nothing at all.

Their heartbeats are racing now. Superwoman can be an extremely unsettling creature when she desires.

Superwoman also doesn't really understand the nature of Wonder Woman's lasso and that very little of that is needed. "One of you knows. Who knows how to contact your boss."

Superman has posed:
Superman is not at all comfortable with hom Faora manages things, but... he's not going to bring it up in public. Instead, he drifts from the ground again, eyes looking about again, ears listening to whose heartbeat spikes the most. Interrogations, as far from his thing as smiling is for Batman.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana watches this rather severe way of negotiating with the criminals, but she's a bit more in the middle between Batman and Superman when it came to these kinds of tactics. She stepped back from the man who's chin she'd been holding and then watched as Superman left, floated up into the air to go monitor the situation as a whole.

Diana's eyes followed after Superman. "There he goes." She said softly. "The one who is the least likely to harm you." She glanced then over to Superwoman.

"She is bad cop. I guess this makes me the good cop." Diana smiled then and looked back at the group wrapped up in the glowing lasso.

"Tell us where to start looking for your boss. So that we can save your life... Even if you do not deserve such kindness to be afforded to you."

Superwoman has posed:
"Jesus Christ! Superwoman's crazy!" One of the thugs shouts, "You want to talk to Helmuth Sade! I think he's like important to the boss somehow, I don't know how. No one does. He shows up sometimes to give orders from the Boss, and he's the one who delivered the weapons! Shit! Just keep that crazy bitch away from me!"

Superwoman watches as Superman drifts away from Superwoman and Wonder Woman. "I don't think he's got the stomach for what might be required." she states quietly, looking back to the thugs. "And really, you're lucky they're both here. I'd have just killed you by now. You've shown yourself to be a menace and fully capable of murder. There are at least a dozen dead bodies here- and not all of them were wielding weapons."

Faora takes a slow breath. "Someone was cleaning house here. Why else would they give rival gangs these levels of fire power. These weapons all came from the same place. They were manufactured in the same location. That should be where we start. If you want to know about a knife, ask the blacksmith."

Superman has posed:
<"I think we're done here, Faora,"> Superman says softly, under his breath, in Kryptonian. Because no, no he doesn't have the heart for this kind of thing. He just floats, arms over his chest, the thug's saving angel gone from them, leaving them with not but a warrior princess and a Super with no qualms of deadly force. His eyes turn to the police drawing close.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana gently dipped her chin in a little nod when the name came. "Helmuth... Sade.." She repeated it before looking toward Faora who continued to speak to them. Faora certainly was a bit darker than Kal or Kara... Diana could see that quite clearly, not just in her clothing colors either!

But, sometimes it is hard to argue resulsts, and this garnered information could put an end to any further absurd conflicts such as what took place here today.

"I guess we will find out." She said to Faora's questions about 'why' and what the motives could be for all of this.

When the Police presence becamse larger, Diana signaled to them to come and deal with this group. She unlaaced the golden lasso and drew it back to her body where she wrapped it and looped it back onto the leather strap harness that encased her form.

Superwoman has posed:
<"They need to think you hold me back, Kal. They need to see me and tremble. It will increase your effectiveness."> Faora replies with only the hint of a smile there. <"It only matters what they'll *think* I'll do... not what I actually do."> she offers, as she takes another long look at the weapon on the ground- memorizing its every detail. "It was a pleasure to fight along side you, Wonder Woman. I rather hope we can do so again." she says with a bow of her head. "I'm glad to see women on this planet who are soldiers like myself."

Faora bows respectfully, her left hand over her heart. A sign of respect, perhaps, to a fellow warrior- not unlike the way one martial artist might bow to another. She then floats off into the air. "We should not stand idle. I have the feeling this isn't over." she states to both.

Superman has posed:
"It certainly isn't," Superman calls down, voice loud enough for the thugs to hear it. His blue eyes flit to Faora for her words and his lips press together. She had a point which he didn't like, but he couldnt' fault its logic or its effectiveness. It was what it meant for how people viewed kryptonians as a whole that didn't sit right.

Later. For now...

Superman nods to Diana, then motions for Faora before he flies away into the sky, hoping the other kryptonian follows him.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana slides her shield onto her back then where it joins with the sheath that encases her sword. She regarded the small clump of criminals before them, then watched the cops move in to apprehend each one in-turn...

she swept her gaze over to Faora then when the Kyrptonian spoke of women warriors. "You would enjoy my homeland then." Diana said to Superwoman with a simple single nod of her head to the other as she flew off.

diana looked up to see Kal departing as well... where-as she intended to stay here and assist the cleanup.

Diana turned halfway then, eyed the gun on the ground that Faora had shot herself with, then simply stepped down upon it with an armored boot, crushing it beneath her foot.
