Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Sonya Blade, Thomas Raith

Sonya Blade has posed:
It isn't exactly what she was expecting when she headed out this way. She had been told it was themed a certain way and figured that it was like any of those hip bars out there. There'd be some pictures and posters up with maybe some highlights here and there so they could say it is a 'real' jazz club. She didn't expect this. She also didn't dress for it. Dressed in a typical leather jacket over whie tank top with black jeans and boots, she really didn't come here looking to be the part. Now, though, she has slipped in and headed to the bar to grab herself a drink. Might as well make the best of it and enjoy the atmosphere.

Thomas Raith has posed:
The Bartender, a bald man who looks a bit like Bruce Willis from RED...if he was wearing an eyepatch, nods to her in acknowledgement as she sits at the bar, filling the drink of another customer. Before he can come over however a voice from behind her asks in a playful tone, "I don't suppose I could interest you in a slow comfortable screw up agienst the wall?" The man is...well frankly beautiful. Handsome would be the wrong word for him. Extremely pretty and yet somehow entirely masculine with a wicked smile.

Sonya Blade has posed:
A nod is given to the bartender as she awaits his attention only to hear someone else speak. She turns slowly and looks the man over and then stops at his face. Thomas will get something that he likely doesn't get terribly often. Apathy. She has been hit on by god like creatures and actual movie stars. He's pretty but so were they. She leans back against the bar and points at him, "I imagine that's some kind of drink because of it isn't, then you really must not be all that fond of that pretty face."

Thomas Raith has posed:
The grin turns into something closer to a genuine smile of pleasure at the woman's reaction. As if not having a woman fall over him were such a rare treat it was like getting chocolate cake for breakfast. Effortlessly he hops over the bar, then takes out a highball glass and fills it with ice. He pours in about an ounce of Vodka and sloe gin, then about half as much again Southern Comfort. He then almost fills it with orange Juice, stirs it slowly, then floats Galliano on top before sliding it to her. "Sloe Gin, Southern comfort, Orange Juice and Vodka are a screwdriver, and Galliano from a Harvey Wallbanger. Slow comfortable screw agienst the wall. On the house."

Sonya Blade has posed:
Taking the drink, she looks at it and then at him before she gives it a sip and nods her head, "Tastes alright." She grins, "It isn't the strongest thing I've ever had but it'll do in a pinch. Tastes better being free." She then looks at him with a tilt of her head, "So, you pick out the new girl walking in usually or you just get lucky?"

Thomas Raith has posed:
The handsome man offers that casual grin, taking a crystal decanter out from behind the bar as well and filling another glass with the amber liquid from inside of it. He sips from the glass and shrugs. "Beautiful woman walks into my bar, she's seems to be alone. Thought that it wouldn't hurt to try to strike up a conversation. That Slow Comfortable Screw but tends to actully be a fantastic ice breaker."

Sonya Blade has posed:
A shake of her head as she takes another sip before pointing at him, "Well, you nearly got a long uncomfortable sit in a corner wishing you'd not talked to me." She shrugs, "Careful who you hit on, pretty boy." She then looks around before saying, "This place must do ok to be able to keep up this level of authenticity." She nods her head, "People really like jazz that much?"

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith shrugs a bit, coming back around the bar and taking the stool next to her. "Some come for the music, some the food. Some come for the atmosphere, and some the experience." He says with a shrug, clarifying the last by saying, "I modeled it after a 1920's Speak easy. It gives the feel that on some subconscious level you are getting away with something just a little bit forbidden." He offers her that wicked grin again and asks, "And what brings you here?"

Sonya Blade has posed:
"I heard about it." She states simply, "And I came to see it. I figured it was just some decent gimmick and that was all there was to it." She then takes a sip of the drink and then tilts it back to finish it. She drops the drink off and looks over at Thomas, "So, you gonna tell me your name or do you just walk up, offer drinks and then nothing?"

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith grins a bit and shrugs, "Thomas Raith," he offers, extending his hand to her casually and adding, "As you may have guessed, I own the Blue Lady." Shaking Thomas' hand is...different. It feels good...it feels great actully. Not precisely sexual but very nice. Hell most men can't kiss as well as Thomas Raith can shake hands.

Sonya Blade has posed:
Taking the hand, she gives it a shake and then her eyes go wide. She yanks her hand back and looks at him before clearing her throat, "Sonya Blade." She shifts a little in her spot before saying, "Good to know, Mr. Raith." She then looks around before saying, "Anyway, I ought to get going." She nods her head, "I have a job that is unforgiving so I ought to head back. On call." She nods her head.

Thomas Raith has posed:
Thomas Raith nods slightly, tilting his head in partial amusement and partial puzzlement at her reaction but saying, "Well then let me say it was a distinct pleasure to meet you Ms. Blade. Come back any time. I would love to have you." His tone somehow being sincere and wicked all at the same time.
