Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Emma Frost, Shadowcat, Gambit, Polaris, Rogue

Emma Frost has posed:
Outside of the mansion there has been parked a large silver twinkie, or so some of the children have taken to calling it as most of them have never seen an actual Airstream before. One of the finest and classiest ways to travel. Especially if you must stay anywhere for an extended amount of time. No one knows WHEN it showed up, it was just here when the sun came up and no one has entered or exited it since. The doors are locked. Hambone checked.

A white sports car suddenly pulls into the drive way and enters the gate with a hand flashing a badge at the entry device and the driver pulls in, parks near the door and climbs out. Her blond hair flows down around her shoulders in cascading waves of luxurious locks. Emma brushes them aside over her right shoulder and steps towards the main door.

Shadowcat has posed:
Up in her room, Kitty emerges from the closet with Lockheed on her shoulder, a tote bag over her shoulder. She empties the used clothes that are the contents out into her laundry hamper. "I really should ask the Doc if there's a magic washing machine and dryer there," she comments to the small purple dragon as she puts the bag aside.

Kitty happens to glance out the window and see the odd Airstream sitting outside. And then the car that pulls in and a familiar figure - in both the figurative and literal senses - climbs out. Kitty's lips press together in a line. She pulls out her phone and texts Rogue. "Ice queen is outside."

The phone is slipped back into her back pocket and Kitty considers whether to go down or not. "Probably should," she says to herself while her thoughts run to encounters with Emma before she supposedly turned a new leaf and became accepted by the school. Kitty walks out through her door, Lockheed riding her shoulder as the pair head downstairs and go over to stand in the doorway and look out at Emma and her vehicles.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau was engaging in his favo-- Well Second Fav--, okay as activities go, the one Remy was engaging in was definately in the top ten. That is to say he was cooking. He grins a bit and holds a spoon out to Rogue, "Now be honest chere, tell me if dis is spicy enough." He says with a grin that looks absolutely pure devilish... Right around the time Rogue's phone beeps with an incoming text message.

Polaris has posed:
The green haired Princess of Genosha had just returned from another trip to the island nation to visit her father late last night. And now, dressed up in another one of her 'I'm-going-out' business suit. She wore a soft charcoal grey skirt, and a loose fitting lavender blouse that shifted with each movement. Over her shoulder was slung a sleek black leather bag that worked as purse and tablet case.

Her heels clicked as she walked, making to leave the Mansion proper and head out when she spotted Kitty heading to the doorway and looking outside.

"What's going on? Did we get alien visitors or something?" She asked as she made to tap Kitty on the shoulder and pass her to leave. Clearly, Lorna had plans to deal with more business in trying to find Genosha allies or business contracts yet again.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is leaning against the center counter island in the kitchen watching the television in the kitchen talk about some Mutant attacks from Sentinels in the Boston area. She seems fixated on this up to the point where Remy is extending a spoon of his cooking toward her, and then her phone goes off. "Wha-? Oh... one second." She replies as she reaches into a pocket to pull it out and flip it on. She thumbs at the screen and frowns. "Emma Frost is here." She tells the Cajun then, glancing up at him with a 'look'. "Wonder what she wants. Better go check, Kitty's text." Rogue then flahses him a soft smile. "It smells great, I'm sure its fantastic. You're like a tv chef after all." She turns to head out of the kitchen then toward the hall to the foyer.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma's heels click against the concrete steps up towards the door as she simply holds a large phone in one hand and reaches up to the large framed sunglasses she wears and pulls them off to fold shut and hold in the same hand as her phone. Looking at the door for a moment, Emma reaches up and brushes a stray strand of hair out of her face using her reflection in the window before she reaches out to grasp the knob and pull the door open.

"Honey I'm- Kitty." Emma says, standing with the door open, her blue eyes lingering on the shorter woman before she forces a smile upon her red painted lips. "Ice Queen is a bit harsh don't you think? You're better than that." Emma says with a look towards the verdant haired woman beside Kitty. "Oh..." The White Queen is quick witted and is quick to piece a few things together, "You wouldn't happen to be the mutant princess would you?" Emma asks in a near kindly tone.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde looks over as she hears the sounds of Lorna's heels on the floor, drawing nearer. Kitty's reaction to the comment about an alien visitor gets a nod back from the Jewish girl. She touches her nose and tells Lorna, "You got it in one." One side of her lip curls up in a faint grin before she turns her head back out the doorway.

"No, most definitely you're not Kitty," the brunette tells Emma. Kitty leans against the door jamb, but out of the way so Lorna can pass through unhindered. Kitty's arms are crossed and Lockheed rides her shoulder, head close against Kitty's cheek. The reminder of how easily Emma can get in her head just makes Kitty's jaw tense a bit. "I'm not the one that the verdict is still out on," Kitty says on the topic of her goodness.

Kitty glances to Lorna as Emma's tone turns friendly. When she gets that tone, she might as well just carry around a sign for those who know her that says: I'm out to get something.

Polaris has posed:
Lorna stepped around Kitty with a confused hitch of her green eyebrows upward, but made to step outside and onto the landing just outside the door. A one, two step of heels as she came to a halt at the sight of Emma Frost standing there in all her blonde glory. A 'Are you serious?' glance was aimed back over her shoulder toward Kitty, mostly in regards to her comment on the alien landing in comparison to the woman before her and Lorna blinked.

As the magnokinetic's focus returned to Emma and the woman greeted her, Lorna shifted her weight upon her heels. Her posture shifted at the overly nice tone and Lorna's more stately visage took over. Her shoulders rolled back, and a look of polite interest filled in the rest, though she did not quite smile.

"Well, one of two technically. My sister has the honor of being 'the other mutant princess', I believe. Or the first, since she is older." Though technically, that still hadn't settled the line of succession in Genosha, and her father had yet to decide.. Public opinion in Genosha was more than rife with rumors on which of the three Magnus children should be the heir apparent.

"And you are...?"

Gambit has posed:
"Saved by de bell," Remy offers Rogue with a grin... however when she relays the message he sighs. He takes his Gumbo off of the burner and removes his apron that says "Embrasse le Chef" and prepres to follow her to find out exactlly what the woman is up to. He never trusted telepaths much...of course the rarely trust him either.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue enters the main foyer with Remy not far behind and beside, with that red STL Cardinals ballcap still on her head and still turned backward, she has her hands inside of a light gray hoodie with a X logo on the left side, a light blue tshirt on beneath it, jeans and simple shoes. Rogue starts to walk slower as she sees the greeting party at the door, then stops about half way into the middle of the main foyer. She doesn't say anything yet, just watches.

Emma Frost has posed:
As Lorna is the closest person and easily the most agreeable one here, Emma places her attention onto the Genoshian princess. "I am Emma Frost, of Frost International." Emma notes simply, almost casually like that wasn't a huge deal, but when in the company of royalty, you have to play the game correctly if you want to deal with that ilk of person. "How IS Genosha? I've heard from my advisors that it is really changing for the better lately. Well, until the sentinel ordeal began that is." Emma says with a hint of a frown.

She glances towards Kitty and Rogue and even Gambit all behind Lorna's shoulders knowing they wont like her being so close to the school once again. Especially Kitty. But she does have some potent news to drop when business has concluded with the daughter of the Magus.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde keeps her arms crossed tightly, the body language implied matching the tenor of her thoughts. Lockheed is a reflection of Kitty's emotions at the moment, the empathic dragon close against her neck and jaw and watching the platinum-haired blond.

Kitty finally pushes off the door jamb, glancing behind her and into the hall. She sees Rogue and flashes her a sympathetic look before looking back outside. "Are you here to pick something up? Need some help getting it?" Kitty offers. The sooner she's done with whatever she's here for, the sooner the woman will be away.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau for one decides to at least be corgial... for round one at least. "Emma, nice ta see yah. Everyt'ing okay? Ah assume somet'ing up dat yah not call firs'?" being this close to the front door, he instinctively fishes a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and places one between his lips, though he stops short of lighting it.

Polaris has posed:
Lorna didn't immediately move to shake hands or to continue on her path to leaving the Mansion. Not yet anyways, she could tell from Kitty's defensive posture that this woman's arrival was well beyond the expected level of crazy from Mansion visitors. Or at the very least, the kind that wasn't welcome necessarily. The green haired Princess kept her gaze trained on Emma, and though the telepath would be able to read her thoughts, she maintained her polite expression none the less as Emma introduced herself.

"Frost International, huh. Strange that I haven't had the pleasure of meeting with your company previously. My father has given me more or less the run of business negotiations here in the States. We're currently working to broaden trade deals with international companies looking to expand. We can't stay an isolated island nation if we want our economy to stand in the global markets." She offered, a safe topic. Economics and business finances. Not her ideal, and certainly not what she'd gone to college for. But it worked out well with her diplomatic position.

"If that is something Frost International is looking at getting involved in, I'd be happy to discuss it with you at a later date." Her voice smooth as she kept her position and spoke despite the clear hostility in Kitty's tone. Still, as soon as Remy approach, Lorna stepped to the side of the front steps, giving more clearance to the doorway and those inside.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma holds her her free hand towards Kitty and with a single finger up, Emma indicates that she will speak to the younger woman in a moment, "It is something I think would be wise to discuss in the very least." Emma says with the polite business smile before she nods in a slight bow before she steps aside. "Good luck in your meetings." The white queen says with practiced sincerity lacing her words before she turns back to Kitty.

"That was rather rude to try and interrupt like that." Emma says before her eyes flash a hint of a deviant smile. "Oh, I haven't forgotten anything." She says, looking towards Remy and reaching up to take the cigarette out from between his lips and she holds it close to her face to examine it. "I'm coming back to the school to help. Again. And differently this time I'm going to be one of the X-men." Emma says with a smile hidden by the sin-stick.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde swears softly under her breath, using the kind of language one shouldn't use at a school. The young woman meet's Emma's icy blue-eyed gaze, not trying to go out of her way to hide her frown at this news. "I'm sure there's enough for you to do at your corporation," Kitty suggests, "that you needn't waste your time with us."

Kitty glances over to Lorn to say, "I'd borrow your father's helmet for any business meetings. Telepath. Who subscribes to her own set of ethics." Kitty shakes her head. << I need to talk to Jean. Surely there's something we can do to keep her out of here, >> Kitty thinks. << Worst kind of influence on the kids. >>

Polaris has posed:
Lorna listened with the usual level of polite interest she kept fixed on her expression for all her more business based interactions. It was practiced and refined during her time in Genosha. But even that expression cracked as Emma moved on from her conversation smoothly into stating that the blonde was joining the X-men and that was that. Kitty's own response followed so shortly after, that Lorna hadn't even had time to step away to head to her own car and head out.

Another crack in her expression and a mental spike of paranoia shot through her at Kitty's words. The green haired woman, it would seem, shared her father's distrust of telepaths that she didn't already know and trust. Lorna paused, and her heels clicked softly as she shifted her stance and her fingers curled into the strap of her leather case. "Well, isn't that good to know." She offered simply, her voice still smooth and even.. all the while her thoughts raced and Lorna was mentally scrambling for the quick practices she'd been taught to at least have a basic way of handling telepaths..

Think really obviously about Physics equations. Over and over and over again. On repeat. The longer and drier the better.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau gives Emma a bit of a look as she takes his cigarette, though if she looks like she intends to smoke it he would reach out and touch the tip of it, igniting it with his power. You can take the boy out of the south after all, but he'll always be a Southern Boy. Either wy another cigarette appears between his own fingers by slight of hand. "Is dat a fact chere? Shoul' be interesting ta see what yah do wit' de uniform." There likely isn't a female alive, 8-80 friend or Foe Remy LeBeau won't flirt with.

Emma Frost has posed:
"I'll be honest, these sentinels have me scared and I want to do my part to help all the mutant children. Be it learn how to protect themselves from telepaths, you all would be included too, to me just being a simple business economics teacher." Emma says with a heart that everyone here has never seen before. She does care about children be it in her own demented way or that she really does isn't clear. "I'm certainly someone you'd rather have around children than this knuckle head." Frost says with a motion towards Remy and she tosses the cigarette into a pocket of her blazer, not wanting to give it back but not wanting to hold it or discard it dangerously on the lawn.

She looks towards Lorna with a single glance but says nothing. "I could protect you all from other telepaths in the field as well. You know I would be an invaluable asset." Emma retorts firmly.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue has moved over to the staircase to settle down onto the third stair up. She places her hands onto her thighs and slides them up toward her knees, then simply watches and listens to the others.

Polaris has posed:
Lorna pursed her lips into a line, listening as she remained silent for a minute before she spoke again. "I have a meeting to attend to. I'm not the person that makes calls as to whether or not someone stays here or is employed. This isn't Genosha." She said simply, pausing before she made to depart completely. The mental math and physics exercisings she'd been running stilled for a brief moment.

"However, if Scott agreed to working with my father against the Sentinels then perhaps there is a precedent to working with Ms. Frost. Whatever you all decide in regards to working with her or not.. We're facing trying times. It's not my call to make and I have a meeting to attend." She made her exit smoothly then, though there was no small amount of concern in the knit of her brows as she glanced back at Rogue, Remy, and Kitty in her depature.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau considers, then nods. The man is certainly not one to throw stones after all. He nods slightly and says simply, "Well dat bein' de case, Ah'm sure dare is plenty dat yah c'n teach chere." He glances back at Rogue and steps closer to her. "Got Jean's number? Pretty sure she's gonna want some imput 'ere."

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde crosses her arms again. She was waiting for the true motivation of Emma's last time to the school to emerge. Waiting for the sudden but inevitable betrayal. Only it hadn't happened. Or at least it had been subtle enough that she and everyone else had missed it. Hearing that she was back again grated on the young woman, but Kitty doubts if she was allowed to teach before, the outcome will be any different this time.

"I don't trust you, Emma," Kitty says bluntly. "I don't doubt you could help us. I don't doubt you will do some things to help us. But I don't think you ever do anything that doesn't help yourself first and above all."

Kitty frowns and turns, walking back inside. What started out as a nice day has taken a decided turn for the worse.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma watches Lorna walk away with a hint of doom and gloom lingering over their budding relationship. All thanks to Kitty. "You're the one who just set back mutant economy in Genosha by holding a grudge." Emma says towards Kitty and then looks back to Remy and then Rogue. "Cute couple." The woman remarks before she steps into the mansion with a tap of her middle finger against Remy's chest as she squeezes past.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue's stare goes over to Kitty as she watches her friend making toward another direction. She glances to Remy and then over to Emma when she hears the 'cute couple' part. This doesn't really get a reaction, exactly, other than the southern belle standing up to her full height and turning to start to ascend toward her room. "I'll be down for dinner in a bit." She says, specifically to Remy as she goes upward, presumably toward her bedroom upstairs.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau raises an eyebrow to his lover and nos simply, giving her that loving smile that he reserves just for her, no matter how many other women he flirts with. "Ah make sure ta save yh a plate chere," he promises. and then ~Really Emma, mus' yah antagonize someone who c'n rip off yah arms an' beat yah wit' de wet ends?~ Since Remy is nearly impossible to read telepathically unless he choses to be, it's an obvious message.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty Pryde goes back inside the building, turning over towards the stairs. She kicks the stairs in a venting of emotions. Lockheed curls his tail around the young woman's neck as he clings to her shoulder while she stalks up the stairs before stopping on the landing at the top.

Kitty leans out over the railing, forearms resting on it. The young woman with the warm demeanor rarely has the kind of look of simmering anger that she shows now. But when that temper is in, it is in in spades. Her hands clench and unclench a few times as they hang over the railing as Kitty looks down at the hallway below. Lockheed rubs his head against her cheek. Her ire cannot stay in full fury with such sweetness from the dragon, Kitty reaching up to rub his head as he comforts her.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma feels all the hate and the emotions and the unspoken thoughts and feelings. She's felt them all before, this is nothing new to the telepath. She takes it in stride, she holds her chin up, seemingly like she's reveling in the misery of others, but it's just the opposite. She has work to do here. Minds to mold and change, lives to structure and coach. She will help this place like it helped her for a time recently. "Lets get to work Frost." She tells herself as she saunters with purpose.
