Synopsis: Rogue and Molly meet up again after a year or so of not having seen each other!
Cast of Characters: Rogue, Molly Carpenter

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is in Manhattan today to deliver some things to a former student and friend of hers at NYU. They lived in a loft apartment not too far from Washington Square park and she'd come down here in her black van to bring the boxes of old items from their shared dorm room. Rogue hadn't ever lived in their dorm, but she had kept some stuff there--as did this friend--so she was just returning the stuff now that neither of them are in that living space any longer.

So stepping out of an apartment building, with a jump in her step, is the 20 year old Rogue with the white striped bangs. A dark red tshirt on with an astronaut in white on the chest, blue jeans and leather boots with small heels, Rogue whistles quietly while stepping back toward her mysterious all black van!

Molly Carpenter has posed:
It was good to be in New York again after some time away following after some leads. Partially it was magic related, partially Molly just needed some time away from her usual life to learn again who she was. Who she wanted to be. And at the moment? She really wanted to be back in familiar surroundings.

Dressed in a Metallica t-shirt, a pair of fashionably torn jeans, and some beat up old sneakers that were probably actually beat up and old, not just fashion, she walks down the street with a half eaten icecream cone in hand.

It barely registers when the familiar redhead skips past for a half second. Then she whirls, head snapping in her direction with a look of surprise. "Rogue?"

Rogue has posed:
That white in her hair makes her pretty easy to identify and remember, its not a style one sees too often in a girl who's barely even in her 20s and it clearly isn't white hair like you see in an aging person... as its stark white, like freshly fallen snow.

At her van's driver door, Rogue hears her name called out by a female voice and turns. It takes her a second before she recognizes her. "Hey... I know you." She says, dropping a gloved hand off of the door she turns toward her. "Molly! From Strange's place. You were with that older gentleman... looked like he was borderline homeless?" She grins, recalling Harry of course.

"Damn, I ain't seen you in like... a year? Last summer, I think." Her voice still thick with that Mississippi flavor to it.

Molly Carpenter has posed:
Molly Carpenter laughs warmly at the vague, yet pretty accurate, description of Harry. "Yeah, we were helping Strange with something and I needed some time away after to figure things out. About myself mostly," she admits with a chuckle as she steps in closer opening her arm as if to hug Rogue. She gives a wink however toward the redhead reassuringly. There's a little hint of pressure felt against Rogue's arm, and shoulder, as if an arm had wrapped around her. Yet it's light. Cool. Like the wind just suddenly... grew stiffer for a moment as Molly uses her sheilding spell to offer that sensation however breifly.

"How have you been? It's great to see you again!"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue can sympathize with the needing time to one's self. "I hear ya, I hear ya." She says, adding in little nods of her head to punctuate that response. She shows a grin to the girl then and she responds to the hug with a sly smile. "You magic people..." She replies now, openly grinning. "Love the hell outta that stuff, couldn't wrap my head around it. Not sure I could even do the single little light conjuration Strange taught me back then any more."

The young mutant will then placed her gloved hands upon her hips, thumbs touching the leather belt wrapped around her waistline. "Me? The usual. Once an Avenger, now no more. Back t'my roots here in New York... in that I've moved up north t'Westchester where I finished highschool. They got college courses now, so I'm gonna finish up my degree there. Workin' as a Teaching Assistant in the mean time now, dealin' with rowdy students and all the... crazy crap goin' on in our world all the time. Metal mutant hatin' robots, I'm sure you've hearda all that."

Molly Carpenter has posed:
"It is one of those things that if you don't use it, you lose it," Molly has to admit with a nod of agreement. "Seriously that was an option for me when I was younger. Either learn to be a proper wizard or ... never use it again and let it wither away." There's a little look of horror there as she says that. The very thought of losin it now that it was such an ingrained part of her life was unsettling. It's shaken off quickly though as she grins in response.

Her nose crinkles at the mention of metal mutant hating robots. "If you ever need those messed up just give a holler. Robots and things don't seem to like my sort of wizard. Plus I'm good with the explodey," she adds with a wiggle of her fingers. Even if she wasn't as good as Harry she could still destroy when needed. Still her grin returns, amused. "Glad to hear you're doing more for yourself though. I haven't even considered college myself."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue has to nod to that. "I totally could use your help sometime, I'm almost sure of it. We're always needin' t'bother..." Rogue glances westward in the direction of the Sanctum Santorum a couple blocks over. "Strange for stuff." She looks back to Molly and grins. "Much nicer t'pester someone who's younger and not quite as crabby as that guy." Rogue draws her cellphone out of her front left pocket on her jeans and starts to raise it up. "Ya got a phone number?" She asks. "We should swap." She doesn't know about the whole side effect of electronics and wizardry for a certain breed of wizards who dabble in the artforms of all things magick.

"Friend'a mine is livin' at Strange's now, should get t'gether some time." Rogue adds with a smile. "You'd dig her. We used to be roomies in highschool... and hey, if you ever think about college, and got any questions, feel free t'ask me. I've been through it all by now. Practically."

Molly Carpenter has posed:
Molly Carpenter holds her hands up as if warding off something evil, vile, or a big dog about to jump up on her. All at the sight of the cellphone which she regards mournfully. "Ah... Electronics and my magic don't work well together." Sadly. Letting out a sigh she murmurs, "That's something Strange was trying to help me learn around since it's kind of a huge drawback. But," she adds as she lifts up a card holding it out to Rogue. "I have something just as good." It appears to be a business card. Nothing important there, but there's a small gold foil circle in the center with an inscription around it.

"I have a pager. It's old enough tech for me personally that it manages to work. It's worse for Harry, he can't even stand in an elevator. But you can page me and I'll look you up on it ASAP."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue looks up from her phone when this revelation of informatin is provided to her and she can only immediately respond to it by frowning at the other woman of her age. "Damn." Rogue gently mutters. "Thats rough." As kids these days, basically everyone grew up with electronics around them... though Rogue a little less than the average kid, since she grew up in a rural part of Mississippi with parents that were very anti-tech, and then an aunt that wasn't much better... she didn't get sucked into it until she was in her mid teens, with Mystique as her guardian then.

Rogue flashes a grin at Molly then and reaches out to accept the card. She puts her phone away, glances at the card for a moment or two before that too is slipped into her pocket. "If ya ever wanna watch Youtue, you just let me know and I'll stand like... over there." She motions further down the side walk. "And just hold a tablet up for ya to watch with binoculars." She's teasing of course, trying to be silly as she often does. "Nah, but I'm sorry, that must really suck. But then again, ya got the magick fingers, yeah? So that makes up for it. You and that Harry fella. Is that why you're here though? Meeting up with him or Strange?"

Molly Carpenter has posed:
Molly Carpenter crinkles her nose breifly before looking just a hint guilty. "Ah, no. I was..." She gives a small shrug and holds up her icecream cone in her other hand again. "Thinking of hitting Coney Island but it's not quite open yet so I figured I'd just grab an icecream and maybe a hotdog." Grinning ruefully she shakes her head. "No, I've been gone away too long. Just easing back. I haven't even let them know I *am* back yet." She glances downward thoughtfully. "Had to get away from Harry for awhile. I've got some emotions to work out about him."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue's eyes go to the tasty treat in the redhead's hand and it makes her grin. "Ah, heck, that looks good. Might have t'pick somethin' like that up for myself on the way home." She then motions toward the north with a little hand gesture. "There's an indoor place similar to Coney Island not far from here. Its open all year, even got a roller coaster inside'a it. I used t'go there for the skate rink stuff, cool place. If ya want a ride, I'd be more than happy t'take ya, if you're all right with bein' in my creepy black van." She motions to the tricked out thing, almost like a modern day A-Team van really.

"Guy trouble is the worst, trust me... I've had some'a that lately myself. Not even just the romantic kind, but like... 'Oh hi Dad, ain't seen you in fourteen years, thought you were dead! Guess I was wrong! ha ha'." She mocks her own life openly and with good humored nature apparently.

Molly Carpenter has posed:
Molly Carpenter shudders a little at that very nothion of a dead parent resurfacing. "Ouch. That's pretty harsh right there. I've been pretty lucky in the parent department, other than an over-protective mother." Ugh. But her dad she had such a soft spot for. Slowly grinning again she tips her head at the van. "That could be fun. And I think I can handle your creeper van. I used to hang around with a bunch of horror movie fanatics and this is no where near as bad as their van was to be honest. Looked like a rolling death trap. With flames."
