Lex Luthor has posed:
The Ministry. A fairly well off night club in Central City. It has all the features one would expect of a night club, all in a richly dark package.

Tonight, Killer Frost have been given a job offer. The potential employer is up in the VIP area... and it's been cleared out of other guests for the meeting.

The bouncer, if he chooses to go through the front door, let's her through the line without any hassle. In the VIP room is a caucasian male in sunglasses and a black business suit, flanked by two rough and tough figures in business suits of their own.

If one didn't know better, it'd be like talking to the MiB.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost just walks up confidently through the door, smiling softly as she leaves an ice-rose sculpture in the bouncer's hand. She then goes right into the VIP room, looking around. "Quiet as a tomb," she croons in her resonant voice that almost sounds like icicles are tinkling. "Are you my prospective employer?"

Lex Luthor has posed:
"We requested five minutes for us to get settled, before the crowd came in." The blonde in sunglasses clarifies in reply, before he moves to sit down on one of the sofas. The other two with him sit down to each side, taking professional postures as they watch Killer Frost, "I am a simple messenger. Your potential employer has some... questions, before they connect to this meeting."

The blonde man gestures to the sofa opposite his own, "Please, have a seat."

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods. "Ah..." she states. "Of course." She gazes at you. "Considering my reputation and history, I would do the same. So - ask your questions." She sits down on the plush chair, nodding as she strokes the fine fabric, leaving a trail of frost behind.

Lex Luthor has posed:
"My employer has some... concerns... over some issues that have popped up during a check into your background. People like Deathstroke or Deadshot are fairly cut and clean... but you? You're a different story." The blonde offers as he starts his explanation, "What is your connection to Caitlin Snow?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost raises an eyebrow. Then she laughs, which sounds like tinkling bells. "Ah - your employer has certainly done his homework. Caitlin is my sister. A very annoying one. We fought for a while - but came to a truce where we don't interfere with each other's lives - the conflict is rather... messy."

Lex Luthor has posed:
"You can imagine how this sort of entanglement could concern my employer, for short or long term. What measures are being taken so she doesn't interfere in your work?" The blonde asks.

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods. "The conflict was detrimental to us both. I don't interfere in her work - she doesn't interfere with mine. I giggle at her goody-two-shoes Flash-loving antics, and she rolls her eyes at my darker stuff - and we both survive. Sometimes we even help each other." She smiles faintly as she watches. "If it helps - my sister is a genius with several degrees. She's helped me sometimes when the task at hand isn't against her morals."

Lex Luthor has posed:
"It sounds like you can handle mercenary work, at least." The blonde agrees, before he takes out a tablet from his suit, flips out the stand, and places it on the table between him and Killer Frost, the screen having Frost.

A few moments later, and the black screen gives way to a white L1 on a static light blue background.

"You may call me L1. I've heard quite a bit about you, and now that I've heard your answers, might be interested in offering you some work." The voice on the other end is scrambled very well; this is a high end voice modulator. "I represent a collective of interests with... long term goals. Are you interested in long term employment?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost ponders, staring at the screen. What kind of mess did she fall into? "Well - it would depend on the line of work and who I'm working for. I should mention - I swore to my sister I would not turn on the Flash. He's off-limits." She smiles faintly. "I would like to get an idea of who I'm working for."

Lex Luthor has posed:
"I have no interest in revealing my identity to one such as yourself just yet. There's no trust built yet. No... rapport." L1 continues, "Suffice to say, your talents would be put to good use. If you're looking for a contract by contract basis for now though, I'd be happy to add you to the list of freelancers we keep in mind for work."

There's a brief pause, because the voice continues, "Do I still have your attention?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods. "Fair." She smiles softly. "We'll see if we are a good match first. But I'll get bored staring at a L1 logo forever." She then giggles softly. "I suppose that makes you Charlie and me an Angel."

Lex Luthor has posed:
"What would help to make your work less boring? Money? Power? Influence?" L1 asks, his tone genuinely curious under the scrambler, "Mercenaries usually enjoy a lot of money."

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods. "Yes," she answers to the question. "But most of all, a real person to talk to. My sister might not mind squinting at monitors for hours at end - but I find it tiring. I'll fully admit to being a hedonist. If it sparkles, I like it. If it helps me from having to get a real job, I like it. If it can pay my exorbitant air conditioner bills..." She smiles faintly. "I've dreamed of getting one of Victor Fries' suits. But the bastard won't share. He's not really a cryomancer anyway."

Lex Luthor has posed:
"We have an enforcer you can report to for a face. My point about trust and rapport still stands, at least until we know for sure how much information your 'sister' gets from you without you realizing it." L1 notes, before he sighs audibly, "So you want technology to help you focus your powers? Is that right?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost smiles faintly. "We can communicate with each other mentally. We have come to an accord and don't argue with each other. I let her do the goody-two-shoe thing - she lets me do my thing - and we just don't argue with each other. It's a literal headache." She shrugs, then goes quiet as she considers. "All I really need..." She trails off. "A way to counter heat. Summer is generally my least favorite time of year. It makes me weaker. If I had to fight against... Human Torch... I wouldn't favor my odds." She sighs softly as she looks down. "I should note that you could try recruiting my sister. She doesn't have powers - but is one of the smartest people I know. There'd be less security leaks if _both_ of us were working for you. And who couldn't use a doctor?"

Lex Luthor has posed:
"We know about your sister and her proclivities. She's a no go in regards to trust. We can discuss that later. Right now, we're focusing on you." L1 explains, before he pauses for several seconds... and continues, "creating a suit to help offset temperature is easy enough for us. Whether you'd be worth the investment is another matter."

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods. "Fair. An organization like this would require some trust." She just gazes intently at the L1 on the screen. "Just don't have me go again a fire-wielding meta and we should be good." She smiles faintly. "Perhaps a test would be in order then?" She is idly forming the L1 symbol out of ice in her hands. She doesn't seem to have a very long attention span.

Lex Luthor has posed:
"A test would be splendid for you. I have a number of ideas for that, but there will be time for that later." The tablet releases a compartment, and a small USB drive slides out, onto the tablet, "Contact information and the cipher for our network. It's as secure and secretive as we can make it. If you need to contact us, the decryption key will let you in."

There's a brief pause, "Make sure you use the VPN client embedded, nothing else. Otherwise, it's tracable."

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost nods slowly. "Very well. I hope this is a productive endeavor - all this secrecy is a bit annoying I'll admit. But I'll deal." She looks at the USB stick, nodding slowly. "So - do you have something for me or will you contact me at a later time?"

Lex Luthor has posed:
"The secrecy is for our protection, and yours. If you are captured during a mission, you can't give our enemies anything sensitive, and we can ensure that you can be rescued without worrying about security leaks." L1 explains, before the tablet compartment closes again, "One last question. Do you prefer covert, or overt missions. Do you care if you're caught on video?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost smiles. "I have white hair, glowing blue eyes, and create large ice sculptures. My preferred method of travel is creating an ice slide which I propel myself on. I am NOT subtle. If you are looking for a covert spy - I am _so_ not your gal." She idly tosses the L1 logo made of ice up into the air and catches it.

Lex Luthor has posed:
"Good to know. We'll be in touch with potential jobs. We can discuss specifications for a temperature suit at a later date." L1 replies. "Anything else you'd like to discuss?"

Killer Frost has posed:
Killer Frost shakes her head. "No. That will be all. Don't worry, I won't leave an ice ramp at your door. I'll walk a block or two first. I do have some common sense." Without another word she turns to leave, still a bit perturbed by talking to a computer screen, dropping the ice replica she made to shatter on the floor.
