Synopsis: Punisher deals with the stowaway from a hit and run
Cast of Characters: Punisher, Snake Eyes, Nemean

Punisher has posed:
The drive was a bit long, but eventually, the Battle Van is parked somewhere... out of the way. Parked, the Punisher steps out of the drivers cabin, and moves around to the back. Audibly, the lock on it is manually opened, and the reinforced doors swing open... to reveal Punisher aiming a Remington 870 directly at Snake Eyes; the same one he's had in his lap the entire drive as he watched Snake Eyes like a hawk.

"out of the Van, nice and slow, hands away and up, and on the ground. I see any moves I don't like, and you're gonna be out for a while. Got it?" Punisher grates out in order.

The structure itself is an obvious parking complex... probably a few floors up, judging by the sunlight.

Snake Eyes has posed:
When given instructions by the Punisher Snake Eyes nods his head slowly and raises his hands over his head, moving to exit the van. Once on the floor outside he takes a little look around, then gets first to his knees, then lays on his belly with his arms stretched out to either side of his body. Knowing something about the man he's dealing with Snake Eyes seems particularly unafraid, but it seems clear that he doesn't wish for a violent confrontation.

Punisher has posed:
"You can hear instructions, good. You might get out of this yet." Punisher continues, before he steps back a few paces and starts to circle Snake Eyes, "You a mute, or can you speak?" Punisher barks out in question, that Remington still aimed at his head.

Snake Eyes has posed:
Looking up from the ground Snake Eyes shakes his head when asked if he can speak. The ninja remains where he's at, though he does slowly lift one of his hands into the air in a talking on the phone sort of symbol. Or possibly 'hang loose' or wedge formation. It's tough to discern.

Punisher has posed:
If the Punisher smiled in amusement, this would be one of those times he would do it.

Unfortunately for Earth, The Punisher lost most of his humor years ago.

After a few moments, Punisher nods, "Do what you gotta do. I catch anything other than a voice box from that, and you're out." Punisher warns, before he takes out his current burner phone, and makes a call to Cody, "I got a problem here. Are you anywhere close to downtown?" Punisher asks of Cody over bluetooth, leaving his hands free to keep that shotgun on Snake Eyes.

Nemean has posed:
It'd been a pretty normal night for Cody until his phone rang. Not his normal phone, no. The one he'd been given by a certain vigilante, "My apartment's not too far from downtown. Send me the address and I'll get there when I can." He replies, as he turns off his computer and grabs a jacket before heading out. He was going to take his unmarked car, but instead opts to take his personal vehicle instead, thinking back to what Alopex told him about keeping a lower profile. She is the ninja after all.

Snake Eyes has posed:
Very slowly, Snake Eyes reaches into his pocket to extract his phone. He types on it one handed, thumb swiping at it quickly. Eventually the phone speaks in its robotic monotone, "I wanted to treat shot dude while you drove. Don't want you getting caught." There's some more typing to do before the phone speaks again, "I work for classified organization. You would be good asset, but magical gangsters might be more pressing concern."

Punisher has posed:
"Bring some anonymous stuff for identity concealment. I got a stowaway after dealing with some trash on the street that I'm gonna need transportation for. He seems interested in my current work, and you might be too." Punisher responds, "I'm at the Windover Parking Complex, floor four, south side. Can't miss me." Punisher grates out, before he turns his attention back to Snake Eyes.

"What's your interest in the triad, and why would you care about me as an asset?" The question is given with no tone whatsoever; an interrogation of it's own.

Nemean has posed:
An identity concealer? Great now he's going to start wearing masks and soon he'll have a codename. Cody never wanted to get wrapped up in this superhero thing but it seems the universe had other plans.

He grabs his motorcycle helmet with the opaque visor before he heads out, then hops in the car and goes for a drive.

He's probably only a few minutes away, but with New York traffic, that could take a lot longer since he's trying to avoid drawing attention.

Snake Eyes has posed:
"We deal with threats normal law enforcement and military don't handle," says Snake's phone. The ninja keeps swiping away, "Magic shit falls under that." There's a break as he tries to figure out what to type next, "We recruit from military and SHIELD. Some of our troopers are too interesting for military service, you might be good fit."

Punisher has posed:
"You'd be the first group who didn't want to arrest me." Punisher concedes, "I haven't heard of anything like that, even during my commando days. Sounds like I'd be too infamous for your people to handle." Punisher continues, before he looks inside to the triad thug he's planning to interrogate, "I got my own problems either way." Punished continues, before he gives a side nod gesture to Shen, "you want to talk to him, then?"

Nemean has posed:
A bit more driving, dodging a road under construction after some low-level superhero fight, and pulling a u-turn to avoid an NYPD roadblock (probably because someone just gunned down somoe Triad guys in broad daylight).

Cody eventually pulls up in front of the parking garage. He takes a moment to put the helmet down over his head, and then check his SIG, making sure it's condition 1, before he drives in, looping up a couple of levels until he spots the van, pulling to a stop nearby and getting out, "Had to ditch a couple of roadblocks on my way here. You sure made a mess, Punisher."

Snake Eyes has posed:
"You don't hurt the wrong people," Snake Eyes' phone says as the ninja does the typing. "And we don't let people know who our guys are." Then he looks towards the triad thug and nods his head, still swiping on his phone, "We can use the same information out of dude, I think. Like to find out everything about his people I can so we can remove them from the gene pool." Then there's another arrival. Snake turns his face to look at them and lifts his chin.

Punisher has posed:
"Sometimes, taking out the trash is messy." Punisher states with no apology to his tone, "This guy is someone new, who was on scene. I have no idea who he is yet, other than he's got an interest in the asshole in the back of my van, among other things." Punisher gestures to the triad enforcer in the open back of the Battle Van, "You know him at all?" Punisher asks of Cody, gesturing to Snake Eyes.

Nemean has posed:
"Doesn't look like he's with the Foot." Cody replies as he looks Snake Eyes over for any kind of insigna or anything, "My research has found a couple of active clans working in New York but I figured they were spin-offs of the Yakuza or something."

He walks a bit closer to Snake Eyes, "I mean, if he's got an interest in the same people you do, Punisher, and that interest isn't protecting them, then chances are he's on your side. Or at least similarly aligned. Should at least hear him out. Besides if he really is a ninja and he hasn't tried to stab you with something pointy yet, I'd say that makes him one of the good ones."

Snake Eyes has posed:
"Call me Snake," the phone speaks, revealing the ninja's nickname from his time as a US Army Ranger. Snake's not dressed in ninja attire at the moment. He's got civilian clothes on and his scarred up face is masked with a very clever synthetic that hides his burns and makes him look like any other blond, blue eyed dude on the street. The only thing out of place is the Arashikage clan tattoo on his bare arm. "You having ninja problems? That is a specialty of mine."

Punisher has posed:
"It makes him interested in my work, not one of the 'good ones'. Plenty of people out there fake interest just to get me to lower my guard." Punisher notes, giving a side glance to Cody, "not everyone has the resume you do."

Then, Punisher sighs a bit, "If nothin' else, he's listened so far." The Remington aimed at Snake Eyes is lowered into an idle stance, and Punisher turns his head to regard Cody, "If you have an interest in triad activities, I'm fine with you coming along."

He squints his eyes a bit as he watches Cody, "assuming you're not squeamish about how I get my info."

Nemean has posed:
"I have an interest in any criminal activities in this city." Cody replies, "Though any intel you get I will have to verify through other means because 'The Punisher tortured it out of a guy in the back of a van' doesn't look good on court filings."

He looks back towards Snake Eyes and considers, "Don't suppose you know anything about a band of ninjas working with mutants to try to take over the criminal underworld." Geeze even saying that sounds crazy to him. To think he was just trying to work a missing persons case a week ago and now is having clandestine meetings with vigilantes in parking garages.

Snake Eyes has posed:
When the gun is lowered Snake Eyes slowly starts to get to his feet, making sure the vigilante doesn't change his mind. "That's the problem with courts," the phone speaks. Then he looks at the guy in the motorcycle helmet and shakes his head, "Not sure. Ran into some ninjas a while back that had claw like weapons on their hands, very skilled. Giant turtle person, Moon Knight and I chased them."

Punisher has posed:
"Sounds about right." Punisher grunts, before he tosses a burner phone at Snake Eyes' feet and moves around to the drivers seat of the Battle Van. "I'll let you both know when I'm done with him." Punisher offers in 'goodbye' as the back doors automatically close on their own, and he gets into the cabin.

A moment later, and the idling engine is revved as it comes out of park, and starts to back out of the space it's in.

There's just enough time to climb on the Battle Van, if Snake Eyes is going to ignore Punishers attempt to leave him behind.

Nemean has posed:
"Well the giant turtle is one of the ones I'm looking for." Cody replies to Snake Eyes, watching as Castle gets back into the van, "So I'd say that's the right group. Come on, you can tell me where you want me to drop you off. Think of me as your...I don't know, underground vigilante Uber."

Snake Eyes has posed:
Scooping up the burner, Snake Eyes looks at it for a moment and then slides it into his pocket as he watches the Battle Van start to pull off. Then he turns his attention towards the other man and his phone starts talking, "Sure. The ninjas were clad in red and gray. They were going after crooks in Brodeur family." Then the mobile says, "We can talk some more while you drive."

Nemean has posed:
"Sure thing, hop in." Cody moves around and gets in the front seat of his car, "That sounds like it might be the same folks, but honestly who can tell these days." He starts the car back up and waits for his passenger to get in, "As far as where we're going, you tell me where to drop you off, otherwise I can just leave you a bus station or something.."
