Synopsis: Janet spirits Pietro and Wanda away for new clothes
Cast of Characters: Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Wasp (van Dyne)

Scarlet Witch has posed:
It is a beautiful, sunny Sunday outside. Summer is getting near and the clothing is starting to reflect it. Though Wanda Maximoff isn't wearing any bright summer colors at the moment. Though she hadn't intended it, her clothing reflects her mood. A dark grey skirt and a black top with long sleeves that come down to cover the lower half of her palms if lets the sleeves dangle. A pair of boots are worn that cause her footfalls to announce her presence before her arrival as she walks the mansion hallways.

And she has been walking a lot. Generally with her arms gathered about herself. It's body language that her twin would know well. That self-hug usually means something is troubling the Transian woman. Wanda's expression matches, eyes searching about for something that isn't to be found in any of the hallways, or the rooms that she sometimes stops in.

The most recent such happening being the Game Room. Wanda doesn't really intend to go there, but lost in her thoughts, she steps into the room, the green eyes looking about for a moment before registering where in the mansion she has arrived at.

Quicksilver has posed:
Well, Pietro's twin senses were tingling.

What was he doing you might ask? Oh, he was in Manhattan drinking a smoothie. The transian not-so-gentleman was always trying new things. But, as soon as he felt that 'tingle', In a blur of pure speed, Pietro was in the Game room, skidding to a stop.

Unlike Wanda, he's definitely not wearing summer clothes. Jeans, a white shirt, a blue jacket, and some white running shoes define his attire for the day, and he looks at Wanda in her self-hug.

"Sister, whats wrong?" he approaches Wanda, his hands moving to her shoulders if permitted.

#ProtectivePietro is on the scene.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"Hey, you know it's springtime right?" Janet walks past the Maximoff twins with a milkshake in her hand. She's in a blaze-pink sports bra and athletic leggings with cute, white athletic shoes; it looks like she is coming back from the gym, a duffel held lazily in her hands.

"Time to bust out the pastels, Wanda," Janet says. She uncorks her watterbottle with her teeth and takes a sip, then blinks and walks around and looks up at the Witch. "Hey, what's with the long face?" she asks, in a more sympathetic voice, and lays her palm on Wanda's arm.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Even being used to the sudden arrivals of her brother doesn't stop Wanda from giving the slightest jump as he is suddenly there, with a whoosh of air that follows in his wake and sends the loose fall of her brown hair stirring before it passes. Wanda focuses on her brother's face and the sight draws her out of whatever melancholy thoughts had her enough to bring a gentle smile to her face. "I don't know, Pietro. I cannot seem to get my thoughts up out of the mire today," she says. She moves to hug her twin for a few moments before letting him go as Janet walks in.

Wanda keeps for Janet the smile that Pietro first managed to bring out. "Maybe it is just one of those days," Wanda says, shaking her head as if she's not quite sure what has her moody today. She glances down at her clothing. "Perhaps something a little brighter might be a good idea," she agrees. Wanda looks at Pietro's outfit and then at Janet's. "Apparently something from Nike is in vogue right now?" she asks with a smile that borders on teasing.

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro is happy to hug Wanda tightly, he even kisses her forehead in a familial manner and he smiles at her. "Well, no matter what, I'm here to get your mind out of the muck, as always. So then, what would you like to do?" he releases Wanda when she releases him, but then of course Janet arrives and Pietro...is not surprised by the blaze-pink attire.

At Wanda's words of fashion to Janet, Pietro looks....like he doesn't understand. Its a weakness of his, not knowing the latest fashion trends. Probably why he still wears track jackets. Fashion suicide, right there.

Though Pietro seems to be keeping an eye on Wanda. She's not usually like this, so clearly SOMETHING happened.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"See, I need to get into the sportswear game," Janet says, thoughtfully. "Nike is about as morally bankrupt as... well, as Tony," she admits. "I'll do a whole line of that athleisure look, it's hot right now." Janet makes a face. "Personally I think leggings are for quitters, but for some reason keep wearing their gym clothes on the street, so--" she rolls her eyes impatiently.

"Anyway, what's got you down?" She slides up to Wanda and wriggles opposite the sibling's embrace so she can wrap her arms around Wanda's waist and hug the taller Romani also. "Do you need new clothes? I mean, you need new clothes, but is that what's got you bummered?"

Scarlet Witch has posed:
For Wanda, her twin is an emotional touchstone who always helps center her. Well, unless he's getting her ire up. That happens too. Because: siblings. But moments like this he does have a way of putting troubled thoughts behind her. Even when Wanda has spent the entire morning walking, trying to understand what it is that has her feeling this way. Understand it beyond that vague sense that something is wrong.

"Some time around family and friends is always the best cure," she tells Pietro in that soft accent of hers, smiling over to him. Wanda's arm goes around Janet as well, sharing the hug from the shorter fashionista.

Wanda breaks out in soft, warm laughter. "Of course I need new clothes," she agrees. Even if Wanda is content with her own wardrobe. Her hero costumes have quite a bit of flare, even bordering on risque. Yet her normal clothing does tend towards comfortable without much flare.

"Sometimes I just feel like something is wrong," Wanda shares, words spoken with the slow deliberateness that is her norm. She glances around the area. "I would say it has something to do with Charles Xavier being shot," Wanda adds, before giving a slow shake of her head to negate the idea. "Though I think it is something else. Just a bad feeling of... something."

Wanda looks to Pietro and says, "Charles will be alright. He had a good surgeon. I went and made a poultice for him to speed his healing. If you are able, perhaps we might stop back at the school together. I had just met with him here at the mansion." Wanda looks to Janet to ask, "He mentioned he'd met with you. Did things go well with him?"

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro crosses his arms as Wanda and Janet hug and try to talk things out. Though truly, Wanda did need some new clothes. "Maybe we can all go shopping today, though you'd have to take the lead on that Janet. Clearly, I'm horrible with anything even close to fashion related." He states with a bit of a sigh touching his lips, but...c'est la vie.

He does keep his eyes on Wanda, and he did hear that Professor Xavier was wounded, but he appears happy that the leader of the X-Men is alive and well. "If thats what you want, we'll go and see him." of course, thats how Pietro would cover that up. If someone knew he actually....-gasp- cared?! does one know what the consequences would be? Nevertheless, he looks between Janet and Wanda, wondering what they wanted to do.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"Uh, we could pick some stuff up, yeah," Janet allows. She looks a little distraught that Chales is injured. "Jesus, I just saw him the other day," she mutters, and rolls the back of her hand against her sternum in agitation. "It was-- I mean we were just discussing some plans about the school and the Avengers, a little social media campaign-- nothing huge." She looks very distressed.

"God. I'll text him a get well soon," she says, and reaches for her phone. The motions' aborted. "I'll *call* him and wish him well," she amends. "He doesn't strike me as a big texter."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
The answer from Pietro brings a soft smile from Wanda and she rubs his arm in an expression of gratitude. She knows her brother's reluctance to engage in too overt of displays. But obviously life-threatening matters can be worthwhile exceptions. "Yes, I do not know if he has embraced technology to that length, yet," Wanda says in her normal slow delivery.

She looks thoughtful. "Sometimes I think he can be too much of an optimist. But then the world can use more optimism in it. And a nice moderating influence for... more extreme viewpoints," Wanda says. The great care which she took in choosing her words making it pretty obvious she is thinking of her father's extremism when she says that.

"Alright, I think we will both have to put ourselves in your capable hands, Janet. I have only done a little shopping since coming to New York," Wanda says. She looks over to Pietro, trying to remember if he had that same track suit way back when they left Genosha. But she doesn't try to hazard a guess how long it has been since he went shopping last. She just smiles at him and pats his warm warmly again, expression slightly mirthful. "You would look good in a suit, Pietro," she teases.

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro keeps his arms crossed even as Wanda pats his arm, he even looks away. Oh, let no one know that Pietro has -feelings-! But of course, this is mainly just him being stubborn. Eventually his eyes shift on over to Janet as she seems heartbroken for the Professor's condition and happenstance. "He'll be fine. He's a tough old man."

Pietro knows from experience, clearly.

But, he looks back to Wanda, and he gives her a quizzical look. "I am -NOT- putting on a suit." He says this with a look of HELL NO all over his face. Where's Captain Rogers when you need him?! He'd help Pietro with his anti-suit yes? no? aww man.

But, Pietro smiles, wrapping an arm around Wanda's shoulders and looking happy. "So, lets go out and have some fun, yes?"

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"Lemme go get changed," Janet says, uplifting a hand. "Gimme five, ten...-ifteen minutes?" she hazards.

Thirty-six minutes later, and Janet flounces back into the common area with a freshly scrubbed face and a change of clothes. She's found a bright red romper with brief short leggings, and the straps ride over an off-the-shoulder tee shirt that bares her navel as she moves. A set of wedge heels accompany the outfit and when she walks up, Janet drops her sunglasses into place and shoulders her handbag.

"Ready?" she asks, and takes Wanda and Pietro's hands before they transit from the Mansion to 5th Avenue, downtown New York, in the span of a few strides.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
After Janet has departed, Wanda glances at her watch. "So we have about 30 minutes probably," she says, translating from Janet-time to Eastern Daylight Time with a soft grin to her brother. The siblings spend most of the time talking about what happened to Charles Xavier, and Wanda mentioning she may try to help the school with some protective measures.

And then Janet is returning and the trio zip off to 5th Avenue, surrounded by a swirl of crimson energy. The teleportation comes with only the slightest sensation, like static electricity that comes and goes, the mansion fading out and the street corner fading in as they step forward onto it.

Wanda glances about at the various shops. "So Janet, how much of what you wear is your own design, versus things that you buy from others?" she asks. Of course one wouldn't expect the designer to only be wearing her own things, especially as varied as her wardrobe is.

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro looks at Janet as it seems they are actually going to go shopping...which means Janet is probably going to force him to buy new clothes. Hell, WANDA is probably gonna force him to buy new clothes. Its been...awhile. But, when Janet returns, Pietro gives a little smile to Janet before suddenly his hand is stolen.

Then in a ray of crimson light, they are exactly where they need to be. That is, apparently, 5th avenue. Pietro seems to be getting his mind undistorted from the teleportation. He always disliked it. "This is why I run..." Pietro rubs his head, but oh well, couldn't be helped.

He looks at Wanda at the question she asks, and he looks amused. Time for truth is now, Janet Van Dyne! Though he imagines she does rep her own merch.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"The only stuff I buy is gym clothes," Janet says. "And I'm seriously considering reassigning the factory in Lahore to start making our own line of workout attire. Athleisure," she corrects. "You know. Leggings, cute tops, shorts for the boys. Stuff you can wear around town on your way to the gym."

"But, it's Sunday and no one's at the fashion house, so we're going to--" She points up at a stylized logo opposite the iconic SAKS 5th signage: crisp Roman-type font, white with a subtle black edging, and expressing a 'JVD' layered atop one another.

She drags the two twins along-- willingly OR NOT-- and breezes through the doors. Wedges clicking, oversized sunglasses, handbag on her forearm and wrist turned upwards. A sales associate immediately bustles over. Wanda's given a servile smile, though the Maximoff twins are... glanced at. "Can I help you, ma'am?"

"Yes, please call Taylor and let him know Janet's on her way up to the private fitting room, with guests," she tells the associate. He gets a winky smile and a pat on the arm. "Thank you darling, you're doing good work. Keep it up!"

She beckons Wanda and Pietro to follow her up the elevator and into a lavish looking sitting room. Food's on Sterno canisters and there's a decently equipped little serving cart full of alcohol and other recreational mood enhancers. "You two've never done the whole Pretty Woman fashion montage, have you?" she guesses, and rolls her weight over her foot so she can prop a fist on her hipbone.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff grins over to Pietro at his complaint about the teleportation. "Yes, but you know that you would complain if you had to carry the both of us," Wanda teases her brother. "Besides, your way leaves tangles in my hair from all of the wind," she adds with a smile to her twin.

"I do not know how you manage to keep up with Avenging, and your business," Wanda says to Janet as they head inside, then falling quiet as the sales associate comes over.

The private fitting room is an experience for Wanda. She looks around then walks over to view the food that is kept piping hot. Unless there is reason to hurry, Wanda usually has a slow, thoughtful manner to most things that she does. Which is shown as she makes a tour of the room, looking at the variety of mirrors and changing areas, as well as the comfortable seating. "I think I have been to royal audiences that had less thought go into their setting," she comments as she arrives back with Pietro and Janet. "Oh, I love that movie!" Wanda says of Pretty Woman, her face lighting up. "Though no, I have never experienced anything of that sort."

Quicksilver has posed:
Shaking his head further, Pietro just gives a smile at Wanda and gives her a nudge of his shoulder. "What if it looks better all wild and tangled up? Should be thankful." Pietro is clearly teasing judging from his tone of voice, and his eyes fall on Janet as she apparently uses her influence to get a private fitting room for all of them!

Though Janet claims taht she always wears her own clothing, but Pietro always felt that wearing your own clothing was like...strange. But, anyway, Pietro is dragged along through those doors, and his eyes look to Wanda in a 'we made a mistake, didn't we?' kind of way.

But, he is in the elevator, and at this point feels like the tagalong.

"Just don't put me in a suit." he takes a breath. and he has a feeling Wanda is gonna make him watch Pretty Woman with her. AGAIN.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
Janet sloooowly pans her head back and up to give Pietro a critical sideye. It's a slow, measured glare, and then she's going for his earlobe! "Hey! I don't tell you how to run, do I? No I do not," she says crisply, answering her own question.

She shoos him away and moves to find a seat, claiming a comfortable padded chair and tucking her legs up under her. She's sitting there when a man in a blazingly orange suit walks in, a riot of color he somehow makes work.

"Miss van Dyne, I'm so sorry to keep you waiting!" He's probably in his mid-thirties, a little portly, but carries himself with an effervescent ease.

"Taylor, you look like a tied-died creamsicle," Janet says. But she giggles and accepts a handshake from him, though she doesn't rise. "How's the wife and kids?"

"Fat and bad tempered," Taylor says. Janet 'oofs' and swats him in rebuke, provoking a grin. "And the kids are all excited for number five. We're six weeks out and 'number five' is the best name in the running."

He turns and looks at Pietro and Wanda, clasping his hands and beaming. "Sir, ma'am, welcome to vanDyne on 5th. I'm Taylor Bowern, the manager. Please make yourself comfortable and we'll take care of *everything*."

A handful of sales associates come upstairs in a neat file, and there's some bustle and hustle as introductions are made and they try to help Wanda and Pietro relax.

"Full court press Taylor, bring 'em all in. Call Michelle over at Island Spa, let's do some mani-pedis while we're here. Is Mark still in the shoe section? Send him up, kid's got good taste. We'll need that little tailor girl, Amelie? And then send someone out for food. Sushi in here and then make sure there's plenty of pizza in the break room. Oh, and someone get me a drink?" she asks, raising her voice mildly. Two associates dart to the liquor cart and start whipping up cocktails-- rum, it looks like.

She tugs Taylor's sleeve and beckons him down. "We need some *major* sucking up here," she murmurs. "I'll comp everyone's overtime and let them know the bonus bucks are locked and loaded."

Someone puts a daquiri into her hand and Janet slurrrps through the straw, biting it with her teeth.

"Okay, who's going first?" she asks of the twins.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff laughs towards Pietro and runs her fingers through her hair. To be fair she had her mind on other things today, and after a good brushing, she has mostly just let her hair spill about her shoulders as it likes. "Did my brother just suggest it was good to have my hair all wild looking?" she asks Janet, tone making it into innuendo that Pietro no doubt never intended.

Wanda smiles and says, "Maybe some slacks and a few nice shirts. Something that will turn a few eyes. How long has it been since you've been out on a date, anyway? Or do you do them so fast I never hear about them?" The needling of her brother done, Wanda turns as Janet's employees come in and start doing what they do best.

"Oh, I think Pietro should go first. Else he may sneak off when we aren't paying attention," Wanda says. She moves over to take a seat beside Janet and flash her twin a warm smile. "So what do you think, Pietro? Anything you'd like to try on? Or just put yourself in Janet's capable hands?" she asks in that pleasingly gentle Transian accent of hers.

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro looks at Wanda as she tries to make his comment rather weird. "THATS NOT WHAT i meant!" He's almost yelling, almost, but clearly from the blush on his cheeks that Pietro is rather embarrassed. It was a comment that caught him way off guard, though as Wanda suggests that he'd be best going first, Pietro seems to protest. "Nope! I don't want to go first. She's going to put me in a weird tuxedo, I just know it."

Pietro was in distress, clearly.

But then Janet is clearly raring to go, and...Pietro is scared.

Fashion is a world that one does not simply walk into.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"Dont' worry. It won't hurt," Janet promises Pietro. He's escorted to a fitting dais and then suddenly people are measuring him with cloth tape measures.

"Much," Taylor says, leaning over to mutter theatrically in Pietro's ear. He laughs and walks off, leaving Pietro on the dais. What's he going to do, run away and hurt Janet's feelings?

The fitting team are a bunch of pros though, and there's a little changing room behind some velvet dividers that he can duck into if he's feeling bashful. In the space of about thirty minutes, Janet and Wanda settle back for a lavish mani-pedi session while Pietro is fitted for some clothing.

Several outfits are introduced, including a 'track suit' vibe made of sleek modern materials and a close-fit athletic jacket, all in deep blue and worn over a cloud-gray tee shirt. Casual clothes are next. All blues and greys, his preferred colors. In short order he has a few new running outfits, designer jeans, button-down shirts, and a few baseball-style longsleeve shirts.

The suit *does* happen, but it's last, and by the time he's looking in the mirror Janet has Wanda sitting in front of her and is trying to comb the unruly mess out of the redhead's hair.

"That is the hotness for this season, trust me," she tells Pietro. It's a mandarin cut collar with a geometric cutout over his adam's apple. The meraschino wool breathes like silk and catches a little silver reflection in the light when he moves. It's all sleek cut, carefully fit to emphasize his lean athleticism.

"Yeaaaaaw, that's... definitely the hotness," Janet says, giving Pietro a raking up-and-down. She curls her milkshake straw into her mouth with her tongue, bites, and sluuurps the last of the strawberry up. "Nothing makes a man look like a man more than a properly fit suit," she says with a langorous sigh.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda relaxes beneath the cushy treatment afforded by Janet's staff. She is ever quick to offer encouraging words on Pietro's appearance. Largely supportive, with only a rare zinger offered now and then. Because something would likely seem off without those and Pietro might decide to bolt.

"Oh, everyone should have a suit like that in their closet for when the moments needs it," Wanda says in her soft, slow way. "That's perfect for you, brother. Let Lorna see you in that and you are probably going to floor her," she tells her sibling.

The brushing session with her hair was a reluctant thing for Wanda to agree to. Though when she finally does, she just kind of melts and closes her eyes as she leans into it. That reaction was probably what she was reluctant about, it seems.

Quicksilver has posed:
Pietro is hopelessly captured and at this point is just awaiting to be trapped in the iron maiden torture device that is a suit. But, after all is said and done, hair styled and facial hair equally manscaped, Pietro presents himself to the ladies.

"I feel like if I run, the suit will break." Pietro quips, he even seems to be fussing over the suit jacket. He takes a breath. "Do I even look nice?"

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"God, you and Steve," Janet mutters, and grumbles audibly at Pietro. "Yes, you look nice. You look /hot/," she reassures him. "It's a great look for you. Just don't-- look, it's *clothing*, not a combat suit. I make you guys combat suits all the time and it's a bitch and a half, I just ask that you don't blow out the lining on a very expensive suit that's good for almost anything. It's maybe a bit too shiny for funerals or business stuff but you could rock that at weddings, parties, the red carpet, you name it. Just... go easy, okay?"

She finishes working on Wanda's hair and *bops* her head softly with the big cylider of the brush. "Okay, you're up, gingersnaps," she tells her friend. "Get in there and let momma do her thing."

Janet takes a more active role in fitting Wanda's clothing. She even relieves the tailor so she can fit a few folds here and there, and take in a waistline or let out the arms. Janet's a hell of a seamstress, to the point that no one complains when she elbows everyone out of her way with a mouthful of bobby pins and some borrowed shears and chalk in hand.

But then again, it's good to be the Queen.

Meanwhile, Pietro's bags are neatly stacked behind them, and he's attacked by a legion of cosmetologists. Mani-pedi time too, since who's gonna judge him? Janet and Wanda? A maternal-looking Indian woman in her late forties proves to have some magic fingers when it comes to footrubs, while they're all at it. Someone even puts a mimosa in his hand and turns on the Romania V. Greece soccer game.

It takes about an hour to get Wanda's wardrobe picked out. As if sensing her waning energy, Janet counters with gloriously springtime colors. Lots of pinks, purples, rustling oranges and lots of lively greens to bring out her eyes. A plaid skirt with a lightweight black sweater and black stockings; lots of cute dresses, A-frame, straightline, maxi, a few skirts suitable for casual wear. A few of the corset-style tops that Wanda prefers to layer. Good, heavy cotton leggings, the sort that wear more like pants than nylon. And shoes. Piles, and piles of shoes, from boots to heels to sandals, until there's a pair for every possible outfit.

"Mm. You still need a nice dress, like a hot'n sexy number for hittin the clubs," she murmurs, and her nose moves back and forth in thought like a rabbit's. "I got some ideas but I wanna do it in the fashion house where I have my full setup."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda rises to her feet when it is her turn. "You really do look great like that, Pietro," she tells her brother, moving over to smooth the fabric over his shoulders. "You don't have to go full speed /everywhere/ you know," she tells him with a smile. Like that would ever slow him down.

Wanda moves over to take her place as Janet and her cadre go to work. The Transian woman expresses an appreciation for what is going on. Even if her usual tastes seem to be simple and as ruled by comfort as style, she is enjoying the experience.

Wanda comes out in a number of outfits then, engaging Pietro for opinions on them and encouraging him to drink up as the mimosas come out. "This is beautiful, Janet," she says of one of the dresses that she finds particularly appealing. "I don't know how you ever come up with such creative designs," she says.

At the end Wanda moves back over to join them. "I am interest in seeing what your design space looks like. I can only imagine it makes the technology in Tony's office look second rate," Wanda says with a slow smile.

Quicksilver has posed:
"I am repeatedly noticing that Steve and I have more in common than I initially had believed." Pietro sighs, but hesupposes he is stuck in the suit for now. At least there are Mimosa's! But, despite his grumbling over his outfit, Pietro is supportive of Wanda's dress trying out. He even playfully whistles at some of the outfits Wanda comes out in, because Wanda needs to be told sometimes that she's beautiful.

....and the amusement of his father having a heart attack at some of these dresses makes Pietro smile.

Though he looks at Janet and he grins. "Speaking of Steve....how long you two been official?" he grins, teasing.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"You don't pay any attention at all, do you," Janet complains at Pietro. "It's been literal months now, like... at *least* nine weeks." Yeah, they're still new enough that Janet's counting weeks. Probably has little hearts drawn around every Thursday for that reason.

"It was-- honestly it was after that crazy robobitch snuck in here," she says, and looks almost *shy* for a moment. It doesn't last long-- Janet might fundamentally lack the ability to feel embarassed. "He figured out which was which, like, *right* away, of course--" a little modified history, there-- "and then that was the big, uh, 'I love you' moment," she says, and smiles winsomely. "So if there's an 'official' official timelinel, that'd be it."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
"Something like what you went through with the clone... that can go a long way towards making someone realize their feelings," Wanda says. She moves over to rejoin them, sitting down and taking up a mimosa and taking a long sip. "Mmmm. That is good," she says with her distinctive slow delivery. "You two are so good together, Janet. I am very happy for you," she tells the other woman.

Wanda lays her hand on her brother's shoulder. "And thank you for giving us this wonderful day, Pietro. I know this wasn't your first choice of how to spend a day. But it meant a lot to me," she tells him.

Spirits, lifted.

Quicksilver has posed:
Mission, Accomplished.

Pietro would suffer anything for Wanda. Twin bond that is unique in every way. But, Pietro looks quite amused, looking at Janet as he hugs Wanda. "You two really are a good couple. Just ah...don't put cap in too many suits." He teases.

Pietro seems a bit more...relaxed.

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
Janet throws an empty Ferrero Rocher wrapper at Pietro's forehead. "Still telling me what to do!" she protests, with a huffiness that's too over the top to be serious. "St-- Cap looks *amazing* in a suit, okay? I've brought him to a bunch of gallery openings, a few fancy charity events, you don't even know."

"I mean, I'd kill to get that man out on the red carpet in his formal uniform, but he keeps mumbling 'something something' regulations." She sips her mimosa, and gives Pietro a narrow-eyed up and down. "What's up with your love life then lately, slick? No special lady out there got your eye?"

Quicksilver has posed:
Bonk!

The wrapper bounces off of Pietro's forehead. "Hey, What was that for?!" Pietro looks agitated, but he grins as she speaks. "Geez, you two are relationship goals arn't you?"

Oof, targeting Pietro's love life now! The mutant speedster takes a breath and shakes his head. "Unloveable I'm afraid. People, especially women, tend not to like me that way. Ever."

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"No one's unlovable," Janet assures Pietro. "You're just in trouble because you've been trying to seduce the ladies in a track suit. No one has ever gone 'oh gosh, that's such a sexy outfit, I wanna do him'. Gym clothes are for going *to* and *from* the gym, not for hanging out and flirting with people," she scolds Pietro.

"And be honest, have you done anything to get out there? At all? Clubs, college courses, knitting groups? Or are you just going to bar and realizing none of the closing-time pickins are up to your standards?

Quicksilver has posed:
"You sure about that, I make track suits look good." Pietro states rather pridefully, but he truly seems happy about his fashion style. "Also, you know, small factoid: I'm the son of one of the most dangerous mutant terrorists in the world. That alone does not put me in anyone's good graces." Pietro frowns lightly.

"I just live life. If it happens, it happens. I'm not a club person, Never was."

Wasp (van Dyne) has posed:
"Hundred percent, honey. This is what I do." Janet sits bakc on the chair anc slumps comfortably; she's petite enough that she can tuck her wedges in close and rock her knees back and forth in front of her., curling comfortably into her own space.

"Mm- okay, let's try a different approach. What kind of woman are you looking for? Someone sassy and exciting, or chill dependable? Do *not* say pulse," she amonishes him with a splay of her fingers from her hand. "Think more'n two-dimensionally."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff comes back out from getting her clothing changed back to what she came in. "What's the topic of discussion?" she asks as Wanda moves over to take an offered, fresh drink from someone. She settles down gracefully into a chair besides her twin, checking his drink for need of a refill before starting in on hers.

"Thank you for this Janet. I... well, I still feel a little off to be honest. But... not as bad as before at the least," Wanda tells Janet, reaching over to find her hand and give it a warm squeeze.
