Mack (8277) has posed:
It's a rainy weekend afternoon in New York. Rain drizzles down, covering everything in a damp wet greyness that drives a lot of people to find somewhere warm, comfortable and indoors. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic is relatively light, letting people get on with their business.

Mack hunches a bit more in long black coat, waiting for the crossing signal. He is a few blocks from Mount Sinai Hospital and has a coffee in his hand.

The lights change and Mack steps off the curb with several people ahead of him. There is a screeching noise and a blue minivan skids through the intersection against the red light. It plows into three people crossing, swerves belatedly and overturns after hitting an oncoming car. Everyone freezes for a moment as they process what just happened.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Afternoon and rainy. No sun? That means Morrigan MacIntyre can go out while having a minimal dose of her serum. The redhead is dressed in a black suit coat that is tailored to her frame, beneath it as a crisp white shirt, jeans and boots finish off the outfit. She's holding an umbrella while she walks and talks. There's an earpiece spotted on her ear. She's not talking to herself like a crazy person. Then she hears the screeching of tires and her bright gaze focuses on the crossing that's ahead of her.

The screeching of tires was something that always was a herald of badness for the woman. She takes a moment to breathe deeply and she shakes her head to clear all the things telling her to run away. "Going to have to call you back." she tells whoever was on the other end of the line as she quickly ditches the umbrella. Then she's dialing 911 while she jogs over to where the crash is.

Professor Zoom has posed:
On the other hand, 'Harrison Wells' is most definitely talking to himself. Or more specifically, into his bluetooth, when the 'accident' occurs... and he doesn't notice the car until it's too late.

The business suited Director Wells is one of those three people crossing that the car hits, and he's sent flying into one of the parked cars... a fairly large dent in the vehicle that hit him where he hit it. Being a Doombot, the robot doesn't have much damage to speak of, but Harrison lays there nonetheless as he gets his bearings.

Mack (8277) has posed:
Mack blinks a couple of times and comes back to himself. He pushes past a couple of people just ahead of him and jogs into the street toward the overturned van and the pedestrians that were hit. The horn of the oncoming white BMW the van hit is blaring continuously. The front airbags deployed and whoever is in there doesn't seem to be moving.

"Somebody call an ambulance," he shouts. Looking up the road he sees one man who was hit lying on the ground not moving. A younger man is rolling around clutching his right leg. He blue jeans are staining red. And an older woman, the person nearest to Mack, is laying on the ground, unconscious with a trickle of blood coming out of her ear and here left arm is twisted at a weird angle. Who knows what is going on in the van.

"Hey, hey, can you hear me?" Mack calls to the unconscious woman. Absurdly, he realizes he is still holding his coffee cup. "Ahhhh, what do I do with you?" he asks the woman and looks around as if ideas are lying on the street waiting to be found as well.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's jog had turned into a run and she skids to a stop on the slick pavement when she hears a familiar voice shout, "Already called an ambulance!" she shouts back. She hurries over to 'Harrison' and there's a look down to him, "Sir? Are you alright?" she asks as she looks him over, trying too see if he's hurt. She is confused by the lack of blood and things. He did get hit right?! She pushes her sunglasses up and those eyes are a bright violet, "You don't move. Just wait for the EMT's." she points to him.

Then she's hurrying over to the young man who is rolling around, "Hey, helps on the way. Let me look at your leg." she tells him in a calm tone as she kneels down by the young man. "We need to get the bleeding stopped." she adds.

Professor Zoom has posed:
No blood, no symptoms of concussion, not even any sign of fatique or anything broken. In fact, when Morrigan turns away, 'Harrison' moves to get up, and starts to walk away from the crash. Like nothings wrong. Instead, he tries to move to the pavement and blend in with the bystanders, despite the uncleaniness of his business suit.

Mack (8277) has posed:
Mack sees 'Harrison' get up and blinks.

"Hey..." he starts and then stops, turning his attention back to the woman in front of. He puts his coffee down and holds his cheek over her face, and checks her pulse. Nothing.

"Hey, you gotta put something under her head," says a large man in a pair of heavy coveralls.

"No, don't do that, I seen this on TV. You gotta shake her to wake her up, you know?" says another man, in his gym clothes.

"Whoa, she dead? Cool!" adds a short, gum-chewing young woman in a black leather jacket and dark, dark makeup.

"No, she's not... Look, you go check on the people in the car, and you go check the people in the van, okay?" Mack tells the two men. "Anyone here a nurse or a doctor?" Mack shouts, looking up at the people gathering. When he looks towards the bleeding man he looks stunned. "Morrigan?! Oh thank the Lord," he exclaims. He notices the blood on the man's leg and fishes around in his jacket's inner pockets. "This lady's bleeding from her ear and she's got no pulse, what do I do?" he asks. Mack finds what he is looking for and tosses it to Morrigan. It's an Israeli battle dressing, part major bleed bandage and part tourniquet that many emergency services carry.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Oh that's not right on any level..." Morrigan states as she looks to see the Director just...getting up and walking away. Not by any means was that /normal/. "Hey, Director Wells, you've got to stay here!" she calls. Yeah, he was well known. Then she's looks over to see where that voice is coming from, she sets eyes on Mack and she doesn't have enough heart to smile at the man. Though she catches the binding he tosses her way.

She quickly works on the leg, "Mack, do you know CPR?" she asks the man. She's got blood all over her hands and she's trying to ignore the overwhelming smell of it. "If you don't then trade me and I'll see what I can do." she tells him.

Professor Zoom has posed:
It's the little things that create suspicion without giving it away. Eobard knows that, and Victor probably knows that. In this case, it's a matter of being subtle enough with creating doubt while at the same time allowing for justifiable excuses so Victor doesn't seek to punish him.

Punishment would mean outing himself as a metahuman... and Eobard has no intention of giving up that card yet.

Someone concerned over Harrison over a car crash? That's a very plausible excuse. Drawing attention to himself while not being in control of how the world perceives him. It's a dance Eobard knows well.

This is nothing new to him.

"Someone knows me?" Harrison questioningly inquires as Morrigan calls out to him. "I'm fine." Harrison waves her off.

Mack (8277) has posed:
"CPR, right, on it," Mack says. He looks down at the woman uncomfortably and sighs. He pulls open her jacket to expose her blouse underneath and landmarks up her ribcage. His face flushes as he maneouvres his hands around her rather ample endowments to get a solid push on her sternum. He starts doing compressions and counting. Mack looks like someone in a first aid class, with that same look of bemused bewilderment about whether crushing someone's chest is actually helpful.

Someone is swearing loudly, continuously and in Russian inside the blue minivan. The sliding door, now facing upward, is opened and a hand appears over the edge.

"I sue you!" a woman yells from inside the white BMW.

"What? No, lady, I wasn't drivin', I'm helpin' ya!" says the big man in coveralls. The woman in the BMW continues berating him with a heavy Chinese accent.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's violet eyes stare off after Harrison for a moment and then she shrugs a bit, "Alright!" she thumbs up. "I can't tell people to stay and then expect them to listen." she hisses as she looks back to the young man. "You're going to be alright, the bleeding is stopped, but your leg is broken and they're going to need to get you into surgery." she tells him. She takes her jacket off and drapes it over him, trying to keep him warm. "Hey, you, can you keep an eye on him? Keep him talking." she points like she's directing troops.

Then she's quickly moving to where Mack is at, "How are we doing?" she asks him as she kneels down, she's got blood on her jeans and hands. But she doesn't care. She reaches out to take the womans wrist in her hand, checking for a pulse.

Mack (8277) has posed:
"Not great, I think I broke her rib," Mack says. "She's bleeding out of her left ear."

Sirens have started up from the hospital. The lady from the BMW doesn't seem to understand the big guy wasn't driving the van and keeps yelling. He starts turning red in the face and yelling back.

The man in the van pulls himself up, folds over the edge of the van and flops to the ground. People watching gasp. Without seeming to break his string of curses, the man pulls himself up using the underside of his van. He makes a wobbling, stumbling beeline for Harrison.

"Youreinmyway, motherfucker!" he yells, swaying unsteadily. His eyes are bloodshot and his breath has so much alcohol it may be combustible.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to Mack and then moves to kneel beside him, "Let me do it." she tells him. She doesn't push her way in, but she is a Doctor...or well...medical doctor. There's a lot of Doctors in the vicinity! Morrigan gets distracted by the yelling and then she looks to where the drunk guy is going, "Hey Mack, I'll buy you a beer if you go grab that drunk by the collar and sit him somewhere until the cops get ahold of him." she whispers to him. But there's a bit of a smile.

Mack (8277) has posed:
Mack makes way for Morrigan with a look of relief. "Yeah, I can do that," he chuckles. Mack stands up and dusts off his pants. People are jeering at the man yelling at Harrison. They keep going until Mack looms up behind him.

"Yeah, that's enough," Mack says and puts a hand on the man's shoulder. The guy does not even hesitate, he just whirls making wild, clumsy punch for Mack. A moment later the man is on his stomach on the ground with his arms forced up behind his back. People around Harrison laugh. The man on the ground says something incomprehensible then vomits.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan doesn't look back to see the heroic's that Mack is getting into. She just figured the man could handle it. She just focuses on getting the women in front of hers heart going. There's chest compressions and then the redhead leans in to feel if she's breathing. She checks her pulse and there's a relieved breath out, "It's thready but got a pulse!" she calls.

The paramedics are coming and that's another relief, because Morrigan might have taken CPR classes and all that jazz, but she's not a trauma doctor.

Mack (8277) has posed:
An ambulance comes to a halt in the intersection. The paramedics push through the crowd. One checks on the guy Morrigan bandaged and the other kneels down beside Morrigan.

"She breathing? Been awake?" he asks Morrigan. He reaches for the woman's wrist and looks at his watch. He nods to Morrigan and waves his partner over. "You know her? Taking her Mount Sinai," he says without really waiting for answer. The two paramedics are methodical, efficent and fast. The woman on a board with headblocks, bagged with a small o2 bottle and moving to the ambulance in no time. "Another wagon's almost here," the paramedic says to nobody in particular.

"Oh my god, it's just like Grey's," a young woman giggles to her friend as the paramedics pass.

A uniformed NYPD officer and her partner come jogging in from the opposite direction. They beeline for Mack with the restrained man. Mack stands up and moves out of the way as the officer takes over.

"I was just walking by, he was driving the van," Mack says seeing the officer's suspicious look at him. He fishes out his wallet and opens it. The officer nods and pointedly ignores him from then on.

Mack looks at his watch and makes a face. He glances around and sees things are getting under control. He turns, shoulders his way into the crowd and walks off.

A few minutes later Morrigan gets a text message: Will you tomorrow! (beer emoji)
