Star Shimmer has posed:
The air is warm and and the sun is lazily listing to the west. The air is filled with the smell of charcoal and cooking foods. People are all over the place. Everyone seems to be enjoying the rather nice holiday. The purpose for the holiday of course has not been forgotten as many people are spending time with their veteran family members and such. Still people seem happy enough.

One person seems to be not having much fun. A young woman with brown hair. She is dressed in a Violet dress with a pair of sunglasses on her face, concealing her eyes. She scrolls over the phone with a violet ringed finger. She did notify those at the tower that she was heading to the park. She didn't say what for. A look at her phone would show her trying to find a way to make money so she can actually move. She should really talk to people at the tower for a room but... for now, that is the last thing on her mind.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is out walking through the park. Tim has been in New york for a while dealing with some wayne tech busisness. He takes a walk through the park, figure streatching his legs, and if he runs into a mugger might be more of a work out.

Impulse has posed:
Memorial Day! He had heard about it in his historical archives, but by the 30th century there were new holidays, and well.. cows were extinct, so burgers and hotdogs really weren't a thing! When he found out about the picnic in the park the teen did two things. First he found the organizers, and asked them how many people they expected to show up to eat, how much per ticket the fundraiser was charging, and then he vanished, showing back up with a briefcase filled with money telling them the picnic was 'on him!'

    The poor organizers though weren't expecting to have an Impulse 'helping' and soon people were showing up, and he was bringing more food. That was the start of the day, Then it turned into finding elder vetrans who wouldn't be able to go to the park without help and bringing them in uniform a couple of hastily built picnic tables with comfortable chairs being whipped up for the elders to sit in and enjoy the food, and the company and well wishes of other people.

    "Wanna hotdog?" the teen asks Autumn the teenager holding a plate with several hotdogs, and a couple cans of Soder cola. "Got a cold soder too if you're thirsty" he offers the woman trying to engage her in the festivities going around.

Power Girl has posed:
    Just because it's Memorial Day doesn't mean people aren't still on patrol. In one case, Power Girl glides her way into Central Park with little notice or fanfare, but in uniform. It's a different one than her usual since it's full bodysuit instead of the leotard.

However, just like everyone else, Power Girl waits in line once she lands and, the ones in front of her down notice because she doesn't make a fuss. the ones behind her don't say anything at first because she's walking. the vendor however...recognizes her immediately and....turns into a stuttering mess. Power Girl smiles a bit and holds up her hand. "Calm down. Just want a Cheeseburger, just like everyone else. Mustard and pickles....Dill pickles if you have them please." the vendor smiles brightly and gets to work as POwer Girl makes it a point to pay...and step aside.

She might be a member of the Justice League, but she considers herself a regular schmuck, just like everyone else.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn looks up, No one has approached her til now. She gives a smile to Impulse and flicks her glasses down. Her eyes are violet at the moment with a dull glow to them. "yes plase, Thank you very much." She accepts a hot dog and a cola. "Nice to meet you by the way. Haven't gotten to meet too many speedsters." Yeah she noticed him racing around.

She smiles a little and takes a bite of her hotdog. "Hmmm. Gods what the heck should I do for a job? I mean come on. I know how Star Sapphire does it but how does Green Lantern manage to find work on this world and still do his thing!" She mutters a little bit not even thinking about the names she's dropping. Of course, she doesn't notice that Power Girl is in the area so she was probably heard. Ah well.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and hmms softly. Upon seeing Powergirl, the young man will move towards her. He looks around and grabs a napkin and pulling a pin out. He will wait till she si free and says "Um pardon me Miss Power Girl, I was wondering if I could get your autograph. Tim is in his civis and looks just like any other fan boy right now.

Impulse has posed:
"You're welcome!" The teen chirps cracking open the other soda for himself and taking a long pull from it while he listens to the girls plight. "Well what sort of powers do you have? Maybe you can put them to use to be able to fund yourself to do heroics? That's what I do." he suggests having not noticed Power Girl's arrival, and Tim having faded into the rest of the throngs of people.

Power Girl has posed:
     "Power Girl is fine." She says to Tim before she looks at the napkin and chuckles. "Improvised autograph signing. Well, I did come here un-announced." She says as she signs the napkin as gently as she can. "I'd ask what brings you here, but it's pretty obvious I think. Memorial Day....hafta be outside and enjoying the weather.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smiles, "Well I am a Star Sapphire. Can't exactly use my abilities outside of rescuing people, spreading love or traveling across the galaxy." She smiles a little. "I mean I guess I could just play music and make money that way but, I doubt I will make much. There just isn't a lot of places that will allow me to take trips off planet for sometimes months at a time."

She idly finishes off her hot dog and looks around. She didn't realize just how hungry she was. "Maybe I should eat some more. I mean, It sure beats some of the more exotic foods I've eaten in recent memories. A good cheeseburger would be awesome. You don't have to get it for me or anything I can go get one." She smiles a little.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse is actually gone and back before the end of You in the 'You don't have' bit. "Ohh! a Star Sapphire? That's like a green Lantern right? Well, is there like a rule, or your ring won't let you use it unless you're doing hero buisness? I'd figure using it more mundanely would help you use the powers better in a fight." he says conversationally holding out a cheese burger to the girl another one on the plate for himself. "I'm Impulse by the way!" he finally gets around to introducing himself.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake does look over noticing the other superhero but for now is talking with PG. He takes the signature, and says "Thanks, I have been getting really big into heroes recently, and am trying to start a collection of memorabilia that I may one day work on a small museum for. There should be some for more than just Flash.

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl chuckles a little bit. "the Flash has been good to Central City, so they wanted to let him know how much they appreciated him. Superman didn't want one...he just wanted to help build Metropolis. Wonder Woman is unique. And Batman....well a museum to Batman would only make him even more grumbly, wouldn't it?" She then chuckles. "Well, just use them as an example, but not don't try to become them. Be yourself. No one else does it better."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn blinks and shakes off just how fast Impulse is. Yikes. "Okayyyy.." She accepts the burger. "Thank you very much." She takes a bite with a smile. "Now then, As far as using my ring more, I am actually worried about doing that. You see, when it comes to power rings, The further you are from the center, the more dangerous they get. The two on the outter edge of the color spectrum are the most dangerous to wield. Those are red and violet. Reds got it pretty bad. Violets like myself... We can lose ourselves to our rings. If we do, we will be obsessed with love and being loved. I've heard stories of just how bad it can get. Imagine loving someone so much that til death do you part isn't good enough. So much that you kill them and lock them suspended in crystal for all time so they never decompose or anything. All so you can love them forever." She shudders at the thought. "Sorry it kinda scares me."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smirks a bit at the Batman comment and chuckles softly "Well, I don't tihnk any of it do it for the recognition do they? Well except maybe Booster gold, I figure he might be the easiest one to get stuff from. I have thought about seeing if I could set up a charity auction of some type.

Impulse has posed:
Impulse blanches.. "Yikes.. yeah, I could see how that's bad. I just map out where all the vending machines are in a tri-state area and use my super speed to check all the coin returns for change people forgot, and keep an eye out for loose coins on the sidewalk. three hours of work can get me anywhere from ten to twenty grand." he explains rubbing the back of his head. "I was thinking maybe you could use your ring to find loose change in a wide area and have it bring it back to you. But that might be bad.." he says with a bit of a sigh.

Power Girl has posed:
    "'Heroes' that do it for fame and recognition aren't heroes at all. they're Gloryhounds. Complete and utter scumbags that only look after themselves. Those that will only help out if there's a beautiful woman, or cute guy in trouble. yet, if the person is hurt or disfigured...they're out. Or if the scenario isn't to their benefit." Power Girl then lets out a breath. "Sorry...sometimes excellent heroes can come from the absolutely vain and arrogant, so......."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn blinks a few times, "Oh yeah. That would do it. Especially in this city. Maybe I should put that on hold and talk to the team. Maybe I can get a room at the Tower." She shrugs. "It would make life a lot easier." She blinks and looks down, "Crap. I will be right back. She slips into the bushes and a moment later steps out in her Sapphire uniform. She quickly launches into the air and goes flying off.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will start to say something but at the young girl changing and shooting off into the air, his body language changes showing a bit more tension, and he looks around seeing if anything is going on, as he pulls his phone out to look down at it quickly for a moment

Impulse has posed:
Impulse blinks.. "Hey Gideon. you see any trouble?" he asks as the girl vanishes in a trail of purple light. Then he's off with a zip to run around the park making sure there's no trouble before coming to a stop infront of power girl. "Hey! You're Superman's wife right?!" he asks curiously and friendly. "Be right back, I don't know if there's trouble, but my Star Sapphire friend left in a hury! if there is I'll come tell you!" he says all in one breath before he's gone with a crack of lightning

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl just a rather....uneasy face. "Wife? Ew!?" She managed to get out before Impulse is gone. "That doesn't look good, but if that was a Star Sapphire...then something's going on. Hopefully, they have it handled." She says as she gets her burger. "Hopefully, they can handle it. I'm gonna enjoy my burger."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn quickly gets on her Titans communicator, "Sorry I left so quick. I just sensed something. Gotta fly to England apparently. Jilted lover with a cricket bat..." She shudders at the thought and accelerates. Yup nothing major... She does note the lightning streaking over the water. She is pretty damn fast but not flash fast, especially in Earth's atmosphere.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and looks over to where Impuse was running off to. He will look down at his phone and relaxe a moment. Powergirl may hear something over a subvocal mic and speaker Tim is wearing. Supersenses do make hiding things a bit more dificult. He will look to her and says "I am sure they will come back if help needed."

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl DOES hear, and tilts her head. She doesn't say anything immediately, as she's chewing her cheeseburger. "Mmmm....so much better than at the Watchtower." She then looks to Tim. "What's your name?"

Impulse has posed:
Impulse returns.. "nothing happening in a five block radius, and Gideon tells me there's nothing on radio chatter, so alls good. i've got two world war two lieutenants, and a chief petty officer needing to go home though, so just wanted to give a status report!" he says simply

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake 's brow will raise s abit as he notices the head tilt. He is the detective of the Robins after all. He will think about lieing for a moment, but says "Tim." He does not go into it more there, and as Impuse comes up he will look over to says "Might be some military assistance to help?"

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl doesn't say anything directly about what she heard, but does look to Impulse. She doesn't say anything as she's eating.

Impulse has posed:
"Well, I have two lieutenants, and a Master Chief needing to get home and take their heart meds! It was nice meeting you Ms. Superman!" he says having not cottened on that she isn't before he zips away again to help the old soldiers back to their homes..

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn manages to get to England. The rest is pretty stock. A guy with a cricket bat wanting to swing away at his boyfriend for cheating on him. She stepped in, eased the tension, took the bat, and would help patch things up. Thankfully it wasn't a world shattering thing but, she's gotta do what she's gotta do. It don't take long either. The guy just needed talked down. Idly the violet woman comes flying in across the ocean and back to central park. Nows the hard part. How do you return to a crowded area without rousing too much suspicion? Simple. Don't drop directly into the area! She darts into a nearby Alleyway and changes back into her cute violet dress complete with the sunglasses.

Quietly she starts back into the park and speaks into the titan's comm. "Alright. Problem solved. Just a rough breakup that almost turned really bad. Its resolved though. And no one got bashed in the head." She quietly returns to the park and just finds a spot by the tree she was at just a bit earlier.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will shakes his head a bit and says "Zippy is foinf to have to slow down and listen and learn sometime. I hope it is not as hard as I expect it to be on him.

Power Girl has posed:
    "To say the least. At least the Flash sticks around." Power Girl sighs as he zooms away. She does look at Tim and......looks around a bit. "So....let me know when your friend shows up again."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn quietly walks over to the burger stand, not far from Tim and Power Girl. She quickly gets herself a fresh burger since she only got a bite of her last one before having to go. Idly she puts her phone to her ear and speaks. She's not on the phone. She's talking over the comm which makes it really clear who she is to those who can hear. "Well, they are cops. Just don't pick on their leaders, some of em tend to get touchy."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will subvocal, onto the com "Well, say Hello to Power Girl. Star Shimmer. I think she may find your little cross ocean adventure interesting.

Power Girl has posed:
    "Indeed I might." Power Girl says to them both, and away from the rest of the people. "I would find the cross ocean adventure interesting."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smiles a little and steps up to the towering woman. "Hello, Power Girl." She gives a smile. "Nice to meet you. Love your work and all." She tips her glasses down showing her violet tinted eyes. "Guessing you were listening in. Sorry about the chatter. Pardon me a moment."

She puts her phone to her ear again to make it look like she's not nuts or anything, "They don't lead the Star Sapphires. No way. Its a really long story. Will tell ya sometime. Lets just say that we don't exactly agree with how they do things."

She turns back to Power Girl. "I had a bit of a issue. Star Sapphires can sense when there is a problem with the love in someones heart. I'm still adjusting to it for the whole sector but thankfully this was just someone in England. A guy found out his boyfriend was cheating on him and kinda snapped a bit."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "it is good to hear you were able to handle it without the need of power blasts, and such. I will admit, am curious how you pick which and when ya need to interact.

Power Girl has posed:
    "More than likely she doesn't fire until fired upon." Power Girl says softly. "You can, huh?" She then makes a face. "Well I'd be a little upset if my boyfriend cheated on me too."

Star Shimmer has posed:
"I'm pretty sure we'd need half the corps here to help if your boyfriend cheated on you and you wanted to brain him." Autumn winces a little and then smiles. "Honestly, Its about the Love I feel. Sure there are people all over this planet alone meeting and falling in love. There are people weeping and having their hearts broken because of break ups and deaths. Its when a jilted love turns begins turning to rage and hate that it stands out. Thats when I have to go to them. Thats when people will snap and lose it. Its even more intense when you consider the whole sector. There are several planets in 2814 that support life and a few moons too. So yeah." She smiles a little.

Then she turns her attention to Power Girl, "As I was taught. Love can be very tough when it needs to be. Think of a Mother bear protecting its cub. Thats the same love as a mother rocking her baby to sleep. I prefer to be diplomating when I can. Star Sapphires still have a rough reputation due to some things that happened in the past. I do know how to fight and will do so when I have to."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and nods his head a bit to this and says I would wager that could be very..complicated when figuring out the best way to fix it. I take it your primary goal is to see if you can get them back to loving one another, not ready to kill one another more an acceptable outcome but not what your looking for?

Power Girl has posed:
    "I'm glad I'm not doing that. I try to be diplomatic, but when you're known for Super strength, laser eyes or flight, reactions ten to be adoring, dowering or antagoistic. And the antag one, I have to handle with kid gloves."

Star Shimmer has posed:
"I understand. I get having to control yourself. Love is a dangerous thing to wield. If I don't stay in control I can lose myself. If that happens, Well... even Kryptonians might have trouble with me." The young Star Sapphire blushes a bit. "Those pesky edge of the spectrum colors are just a bit crazy!" She laughs.

Turning to Tim she smiles and nods, "Yeah, the best situation is everyone gets back together and loves each other again. Sometimes though, doing that can cause more problems. One of the effects of the Violet rings is it amplifies the love in you. All rings amplify the things that drive them. A green lantern's ring brings out willpower, a blue lantern ring brings out hope. A violet brings out love. Its something we can project and inspire around us. This could lead to messy situations if not careful."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and nods his head a bit to this in thought, and says "Anyone for a burger or hotdog? I'm buying." he offers the ladies "Or something to drink?"

Power Girl has posed:
    "I'll take another. Cheese, Dill Pickle, mustard." Power Girl said. "Is that the case where love can be toxic?" She says to Autumn.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn nods and smiles, "Oh umm. yes please. Another burger please a bottled water would be great too. Thank you very much!" She doesn't address Tim by name. She knows hes a Titan and she knows the voice on the communicator. She didn't hear his name and calling him by code name when he's in civvies just seems like a bad idea.

"Yes. I umm... Just watch." Autumn smiles and looks around. Seeing a couple walk by, She just focuses. Her ring flickers a little and the couple stop and begin kissing. "If I were to lose control, imagine that and more happening all over. My love without my ring was strong enough to draw the ring to me. With it... its only gotten stronger."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will get a couple of burgers for each of them, and some fries and water and drinks. After a few moments he will motion the two ladies to a table to join him, where he has set out the food.

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl heads over to eat her food and quietly converse with Autumn and Tim. Power Girl talks and eats like a normal person. She even gossips, but not about the League, nor about her actual work for her normal 'life'....which would give her alt ego away.

She gossips like a normal woman would, even talking about cute guys, but makes a point that she doesn't date, like....ever. One, a boyfriend of Power Girl would get a gigantic target on their back for her enemies. So, it's more for their safety.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn moves over with Tim and sits down with Power Girl. From there she actually just begins relaxing. For the first time in what feels like forever, she is feeling less like a galactic beacon of love and more like a young woman. In a similar fashion, she doesn't give info on her normal life, partially because she doesn't exactly have one at the moment. Nor does she go any further into her life out among the stars. She simply laughs and smiles. She doesn't exactly go into having a love life because its kinda hard to separate her super and private lives in that regard. Still, its a good time and a nice conversation. All in all, its a great welcome back to Earth.
