Location: Roof, Titans Tower
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Star Shimmer, Star Sapphire

Star Shimmer has posed:
After the training session, Autumn grabbed a towel and dried the sweat off of herself. Then the idea came to her. SWIMMING!!!! She quickly made her way up to the roof of the Tower. Why is there a swimming pool on top of Titan's Tower? Because why the heck not! Thats why! Autumn quickly walks out and finds a nice place to sit. She moves over to a lounge chair and plops down.

Idly she tosses her towel on the back of the chair before she moves to change her sweat suit to a swim suit. Thats when she realizes, "Oh crud! I never put my ring back on!" She quickly shoves a hand into her pocket and puts her ring back on her finger. Then with a quick shimmering flash, her sweats shift to something she never thought she would EVER wear... a two piece bikini.

Star Sapphire has posed:
And, shortly aftr that bikini manifests, there's another manifestation of violet light, the arrival of Star Sapphire presaged by almost a waterslide descending from above, splashing her into the pool as well. She's wearing a one piece, albeit not a particularly modest one, her black hair slicked back to her skull as she rises back to the surface.

"There you are, darling. I was starting to worry. Just a smidgen, though. I know you can handle yourself. Still, better safe than sorry."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn blinks a few times and realizes Star Sapphire just showed up and apparently had been looking for her. "Oops! I am so sorry! I took my ring off for training." She quickly dives into the pool. Not a terrible show of swimming to be honest. She smiles and comes up. Then with a smirk she says in a playful tone... "Ta-da!!!" She comments showing off her form. "Apparently either my genetics or the rings themselves are slightly naughty.

She smiles to Carol, "I am really sorry about that though. They suggested I train so I don't have to use my ring all the time." She shrugs, "Everyones kinda worried I'm going to go dark or something."

Star Sapphire has posed:
Star Sapphire grins, "Well, the rings definitely are, but I won't count your genetics out," she smiles. She pulls herself up and sits on the edge of the pool, dangling her legs in. "It is a danger, but I'm not that worried about it. It's something we all have to face, eventually. The rings are a temptation as much as they are a gift. Learning to balance want and need, right and wrong...those are difficult choices. If they were easy ones, everyone would have a ring," she says.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Star Shimmer nods, "That is true." She lifts herself out and sits by Carol. "I just am trying to balance everything out. You know this is the most time I've spent on Earth in almost a year. I know you didn't mean to be away so long but it was really tough on me being new and all."

She frowns a little and rubs her head. "I haven't done a lot of fighting. Its all been Diplomacy and stuff. The whole uniting 2 families so there isn't a planetary war in the sector is becoming a personal favorite just... Gods some of the food is so rough!"

Star Sapphire has posed:
Star Sapphire smiles, "That part will always be tough. I think the ring might be able to help translate for your taste buds, the same way it does for language, but I haven't quite figured out how to make it do it yet. Still, try not to spit anything out. Even aliens tend to find that offensive," she grins.

"Fighting will always be a little harder for us than for some of the others. Our instinct isn't the closed fist, but the open arms. We would rather embrace than battle. And yet...there comes a time when even we must fight. The key is to remember what you're fighting -for-."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Shimmer nods and looks into the water, "You know, I really don't even recognize myself anymore. Its a good thing I mean. I have no regrets about who I've become but, its so different to wake up, look in the mirror and not loath my reflection. To just see myself and be happy."

She just looks and ponders for a moment. "you know something occured to me. Before I became a Star Sapphire, I had great love in my heart but was also very much wounded by those who were supposed to love me... Sounds silly I know. Sometimes I wish I could go back and tell myself that things would get better."

Star Sapphire has posed:
Star Sapphire nods, "It's that wound, I think, that sows the seeds for the growth you've made," she says. "You've become yourself in more ways than just the physical, remarkable as those may be. Love, you've learned, is more than just words, roles, traditions. Love comes through relationships with others - and with yourself. I'm very proud of the journey you've made, and my small part in it. And who knows? Time travel happens now and then. I've seen stranger things."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Star Shimmer nods, "True. You never know when that could happen. Right now though, I'm kinda dealing with another problem. My friends here are worried about me. The problem is, they think I am going to lose control and go bad. They are a bit condecending concerning it. Like I don't know what I risk just having this ring on my finger."

She hmms, "you know when Charles Xavier popped into my head, I was in like two places at once. I mean Telepathy is nothing new to us. You get Queen Aga'po in your head and I get Libby here." She gestures to her ring. "But I was put into this mindscape. He detected that I was afraid and could tell that I used a lot of power... I explained why I was afraid and When I did, all of my fears seemed to manifest in that mindscape. Like I could see what would happen if I lost control..." She sighs.

Star Sapphire has posed:
Star Sapphire sighs and reaches out, laying a hand across yours and your ring, "People will always fear what is powerful, Autumn. There's no way to avoid that. That you're afraid of it is actually a good thing - if you didn't fear the consequences of such actions, then you wouldn't understand the dangers. You are trying to be a good person, first and foremost, and that is admirable, regardless of whether you have a ring of power on your finger."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn takes a deep breath. "This is what I seen though." She uses her ring and a projection appears in the air. Its clearly the earth with Violet crystals all over the place. People both alive and dead sealed in side. "I don't ever want this to happen. This world is... Its what I love the most. The people." She looks down. "Part of me wishes I didn't have such a weight to carry in this ring but, I also know that there is a reason the ring came to me." She looks down.

"Being told that I'm dangerous because of this ring is really rough. Whats worse, I offered to let them find out just how much weight the ring carries with it. Even made a deputy ring. I can actually do that now. I set it in front of them and said, 'go for it.' Not a single taker. No one would trust themselves with that power, even if I could put a stop to it."
